Jacque was so helpful in making my plan happen. I planned this entire wedding over the phone out of state and she made me feel like I was right their with her. I had only three weeks to get this together and other planners told me it was impossible for what I wanted and most importantly could afford. I was about to give up and go to Vegas, But I found her sight and it spoke to me so I called and she told me that it could be done. Overall I got so much more than I ever believed I could for my embarrassing budget. I feel like she was my angel. She made it possible for me to sleep after months of sleepless nights worring I cound not have a nice weddings. I wholeheartedly think that if you dont think you have enough money to make your dream come true that you should call her, she is a miracle worker. Dont go to Vegas until you give her a call. I only had about $1550 to spend on my wedding and she didnt laught like the other planners, she merely said well make your money work as hard as it can for you. She made my money work like a super hero. She had a resource for every thing. I got invite from her, party favors, decorations, and piece of mind. Please give her a chance the way she gave me a chance. I love good things to come to good people.

We hired Jacqueline Thompson, DBA "Enchanting Engagements" as a coordinator for our wedding and signed up for her 'Mise en Place' package ('Everything in its place - start to finish wedding coordination).

Thompson refused to complete several planning items such as: hire wait service staff, help us coordinate with the rental company, meet with our vendors, etc.

After meeting with her a few times and making payments, she casually mentioned that we were out of vendor appointments - and she hadn't even met with our vendors yet! Apparently she counted some of our meetings as vendor appointments!

Additionally, she offered no assistance to finding quality vendors such as DJ, videographer, rentals, decor, hair and makeup artists, etc.

As we approached the 90 day mark until the wedding, I realized that Jackie had completed NONE of the items in listed in our planning package. I saw that she had added new pictures onto her website which showed some very sad and horribly tacky weddings with metal folding chairs, marbles and white fake rose petals as centerpieces, blue plastic cups and other terribly ugly decorations.

When I expressed my concern, she offered to terminate the contract. She did none of the planning but kept all our money. I would not recommend this vendor.

I was recently married and Jacqueline Thompson helped me in so many ways. I was on a tight budget and she gave me great ideas for my center pieces and my wedding invitations that saved me a lot of money!! She was able to create using my ideas and small budget and her creativity to design fabulous wedding invitations! The invitations were all hand made and were truly one of a kind. She is very good with details and pointed out everything that I didn't think of, she helped me organize my thoughts, even though I changed my mind many, many times! The center pieces were simple, elegant, and had the perfect touch. She saved me a lot of money from having to have to hire a florist for my center pieces. I highly recommend Jacqueline for designing a wedding and I know that she can work with any budget however large or small.

J. Thompson's ability to make our wedding day a day that we could relax and enjoy is incredible. Robert and I did not have to worry about details, or set-up, or any other of the small things that could have made our special day stressful. We let her know the details (such as colors and theme) and she took care of the rest. She put together our favors, printed our napkins, bought lights for our center pieces, and every other small detail one could think of. I can honestly say that when Robert and I entered into our reception area it brought large smiles to our faces, and our whole night we were noticing new things everywhere. Her detail and creativity is amazing. She can cater to anyone for anything, that I am sure. Thanks Jackie for making our day wonderful, and for all of the other things you did!

I recently hired Jacqueline Thompson of Enchanting Engagements as my wedding coordinator/planner. I found her ad on TheKnot.com, and at first, I was just going to meet with her, and get an idea of what exactly a wedding planner does. I am currently in my second year in law school in Orange County, and I did not want to deal with the stress of planning my wedding, as well as the additional stress of school, studying and finals. I decided to see what exactly a wedding planner could offer me, that I could not do myself. I am still in the planning process, as my wedding date is June 1, 2007.

I was extremely impressed with Jackie. She was very professional, yet open about what she does, and what she could do for me. I told her that I have already picked out what I wanted, a fully catered, elegant event at Paradise Gardens in Oceanside, CA. Jackie knew of the site, and also told me that she knew the owner personally, and could most likely work a deal, resulting in discounts, additional items thrown in, or the like. After meeting with her for about 1.5 hours and discussing many different ideas and options, all within my budget, I hired her on the spot. She was the person who would make my dream wedding come to life. And she has.

Jackie has connections with many different venders, all resulting in a discount for me, and my budget. She deals with quality people, and will make sure to get what you want, above all else. She is very communicative, replies promptly to emails, and phone calls. I know that I can call her at any time, with questions, fears, stresses, and she will alleviate everything. Her goal is to make sure that my wedding is everything that I want it to be. She wants my wedding to be as grand an affair as I do, and she does everything with an eye to my ultimate budget. She keeps my ideas, and what I want, in mind when she talks to her vendors.

I definitely recommend Enchanting Engagements as your wedding coordinator. You will be extremely happy with her service, her connections, and her dedication to providing the exact affair you are looking to create. The savings she has already established for me are in the thousands. She is just the person I want helping me plan my perfect, special day.
