Enchanting Events by Sandy

Sandy was my Day-Of coordinator, and I don't know what any of us would have done without her. We met several times before the wedding, particularly in the weeks leading up to the event. Not only was she extremely helpful, supportive, and easy to work with she was also very knowledgeable and always followed up with me in a timely manner. On the day of the wedding, she helped things go so smoothly, you would never guess the amount of bumps along the road, from rain to traffic to a very behind timeline (due to the rain and traffic). Being a former event planner, I am very detail oriented and it is hard to relinquish control, she never once made me feel bad about all the little details I gave to her to handle, and she took great care to make sure my vision and all the work I put into it was achieved. I know many more little things happened at the wedding that I didn't even know about, because she was always there to handle any little situation, from making sure the right songs were played by the band to finding more champagne for our glasses in addition to being there to help set-up and over-see the reception decorations. I cannot speak highly enough of her, and I know that everyone who met her from my husband to my mother and the rest of our family and friends were also so impressed by the ease in which she handled any situation.

We hired Sandy to coordinate our daughter Jennifer's wedding day, September 19, 2009. Little did I know that from the minute we met, she would be my rock and my counselor, my sounding board, my wedding planner, and after everything, my friend! She did WAY more than just coordinate the wedding day. She offered expert advice, took our lead but gently offered suggestions that turned out to be exactly what we needed. She coordinated all our vendors, handled the final payments, choreographed the ceremony and stayed at the reception until she was certain everything was done that needed to be done. She made sure the newlyweds had food in their room after the reception, loaded our car with gifts and ceremony items, made sure the photographer was everywhere, actually assembled centerpieces, and did what EVER else needed to be done. She was at my right hand for over six months. Had I known Sandy when we started the planning, she would have been trusted with the entire process! Sandy is the ultimate professional, she's done this many times and it shows. She was gentle, not pushy, present, not absent, and if I had another daughter, Sandy would be my planner again.
