Jim was amazing from day one. He met us at a convenient location to discuss the possibility of using him for our ceremony, no obligations and no pressure. We knew from that night we met him, that he would be perfect for our special day, and we were spot on. Jim was beyond our expectations in every aspect of the ceremony. We had the rehearsal with him to practice the ceremony, and it was well worth the little bit extra to ensure everything runs smooth. The rehearsal really does reduce the stress the day of (and there is enough of that, trust us) so we would recommend that to everyone.

The ceremony console was one of the easiest things to use, and allowed us to completely customize our ceremony. Jim was there every step of the way, and had suggestions/comments that only enhanced the results. In the end, everything said was completely up to us, and therefore was a completely unique wedding.

All in all, Enduring Promises is an exceptional company to work with. They respond very quickly to any questions, and even send out reminders with little comments to settle any nerves that might be building up. Jim did an incredible job and helped make our day perfect. He arrived early, made sure all arrangements were ready for us. He spent time before the wedding walking us through the details and teaching us the proper way to walk down the isle, give away the bride, hold hands, exchange rings, etc...During the ceremony he was constantly providing us with positive comments and making us feel relaxed. He allowed extra time for photos during the ceremony and even recommended fantastic symbolic shots. He was very flexible and kept saying "this is your day" make it as simple or creative as you wish and he honoured all our requests. Jim Emerson was our officiant, and we had a wonderful experience with him. Enduring Promises responded very quickly to our initial enquiry, and despite the fact that we were on a tight schedule (3 weeks to our wedding!) I had my wedding on Feb 2nd. We contacted Enduring Promises to officiate our wedding. Enduring Promises married my sister back in May of 2012 and were very happy so we decided to contact them for our wedding. Although we had different officiants, we were so happy with who we had. We met with Richard Bristow. He was very flexible with where our first meeting was and made sure it was a convenient location for both of us. Richard was so friendly and so nice we knew right away we wanted to proceed. Richard responded promptly to my emails, questions and offered advice throughout the planning process. Enduring Promises has an online ceremony template that helped us so much with the flow of the ceremony. They offer ideas of how you may want your ceremony with examples of vows, readings, ceremony elements be it religious, non-religious etc. If you have your own vows or readings you can use them as well. They were definitely worth the value in terms of price as well. The day of the wedding Richard was very helpful, he offered some words of advice to me as well as spoke with my husband and wedding party before the ceremony took place. Richards' wife also happened to be there and she was very kind and helpful as well. I have already referred a friend that is getting married next year to Enduring Promises and highly recommend them to anyone that is planning their wedding.

Our officiant, Jim Emerson, guided us through the process at the initial meeting and was very attentive to our needs. Jim was an absolute pleasure to work with. He made things easy, and fluid. We didn't have to memorize anything, and he immediately removed any anxiety we had. Jim was serious in times he needed to be, but kept things light and humorous when appropriate, which we truly enjoyed. Finding an officiant was, I think, the most difficult task in planning our wedding. Anyone we contacted was either booked for our wedding date, booked for our ceremony time or simply did not reply to our enquiries. We found Enduring Promises through a general internet search.

When we first met with our Officiant, Rinette, we felt she was clear, concise and confident. She shared ideas about what, in her experience, worked well in other ceremonies. At the end of our meeting, Rinette was respectful in offering us time to think about this decision, but we were decided.

Having a small wedding party, we did not have a ceremony rehearsal. We were confident that Rinette could take on the responsibility of letting everyone know the flow of the ceremony, where to be and when to be there; from groom & groomsmen, bride & bridesmaids to the readers, the ceremony was seamless - I didn't even notice Rinette signaling to the readers to take their place - the ceremony was perfect!

Enduring Promises provides each couple with a login/password to their ceremony template. This made it SO easy to choose readings and vows but wasn't so strict that changes couldn't be made. This template made planning the ceremony enjoyable!

She was always there to answer our questions or concerns and was so amazing at the venue when we did our run through of the ceremony. Everyone left knowing what to do. On the day of our wedding, our officiant kept us calm before the ceremony as well as during it! The ceremony is something I will cherish forever and she was such a great part of it.

Jim did a fabulous job, and we really appreciated all the help he was able to give us while we developed the ceremony. The website has a fantastic guide to building the ceremony, and we had a lot of online consultation with our officiant in the weeks leading up to the big day. When we got to the actual wedding day, we had 2 unforeseen events: the bride forgot the marriage licence, and a close family member fell and had to be carted off in the ambulance. Jim kept everything on course, and then met with us the following day to do a properly legal ceremony. We are very grateful for Enduring Promises' professionalism and flexibility.

The first time I heard Rinette on the phone, I know she was the One officiant that we can trust and rely on. From the minute I contact her, everything happens very fast, and well-organized. We met up with her and she walked us thru everything from A-Z, explained carefully about the service and tips for each steps. First and foremost, Paul is extremely helpful, kind, and genuine, and he made the process of preparing our ceremony seamless. I am of Filipino descent and my husband of Japanese and Egyptian decent, and I wanted to incorporate a traditional Filipino coin ceremony using the same coins my parents used when they were married. Paul was also equipped with an Blackberry Playbook which was a surprise! We didn't expect to see an Officiant with a mobile device which had wireless access to assist in our introductory meeting. This was an extremely effective and efficient tool in which he used to walk us through the steps involved in creating our personalized ceremony online.

Enduring Promises offers an online template for creating your wedding ceremony. The ceremony template was so very easy to use, it provided standard selections (ie. vows, opening, etc.) we could choose from or the option to customize. It was a extremely easy to understand and it allowed you the feature to save and come back to it another time if required including an option to edit should you change your mind about how something sounds.

The company was a pleasure to deal with. There were zero issues and all communications were prompt and we were very well taken care of. They gave us an easy to use template that helps couples form their ceremony themselves, despite not having the knowledge themselves, of all the pieces of a ceremony. There are options provided of verses and phrases, which are beautiful, and even if a couple doesn't choose any of the options, it helps guide them to find what works and feels right for them.
