Enhanced Lighting & Sound

Admittedly, we did not spend a lot of time planning the lighting. Our coordinator helped with the process and took us to the Enhanced Lighting showroom to pick out our lighting designs. It was easy peasy and Megan helped us in choosing the right design for our theme. Megan and her staff were very nice and offered their suggestions with the many options.

Lighting was something that we didn't consider too important until the day of our wedding when we finally saw how lighting totally transformed what was usually a plain restaurant. Even the staff commented that it was like a whole new place. Never has a Chinese restaurant looked so dramatic.

We underestimated the importance of lighting and will highly recommend Enhanced Lighting & Sound to transform an event.

John and Megan (the owners) are extremely helpful, polite, and professional! Not only are they customer service oriented, but they know how to treat each bride and client. I was amazed at the design that Julio and Daniel came up with (I think it was a joint effort).. either way, I was extremely pleased with the end result! The guests all were astonished by the beautiful ambiance that Enhanced Lighting created. Oh! And I was worried at first that I would see the big black poles or the huge lights, but nope, couldn't see anything but the beautiful light and gobo patterns. Gorgeous! I highly recommend Enhanced Lighting for any event where you want that WOW factor!

Enhanced Lighting was recommended to us by our wedding coordinator, Crystal Lequang of Amazae Special Events. John, Julio, and the rest of their team did an amazing job with our ceremony room and reception room. Lighting makes a huge difference!

The ceremony room had a very intimate, candle lit feel that was perfect and exactly what we were going for. We also had a simple tree-like gobo pattern in both rooms that worked out well with our fall theme. And both rooms had doors that were draped by Enhanced Lighting. The chocolate brown drapes had beautiful tassels tied around them, and the drapes definitely added another layer of texture to the room, making it very elegant.

The reception room had pin spots on every table that were not blinding to guests like I have seen other lighting companies do. The pin spots were subtle and made photographs even more beautiful. We also had lanterns hung over the dance floor. We thought we were going to get standard round paper lanterns - to our surprise, when we saw the reception room, the lanterns were intricate and ornate lanterns that emitted a very nice glow. It was more than we hoped for and absolutely stunning! Guests were definitely wow'ed by the lanterns! Thank you Enhanced Lighting for everything!

I have not worked with Enhanced Lighting, but I have seen their work at a wedding on 8/18. The location had a background that was not photogenic so huge, velvet drapes were used to cover these portions. Spotlights were used to create a beautiful effect against the drapes and a large monogram of the couple's initials was lit in the middle of the room. A nice touch was that
the lighting equipment was inconspicuous and blended into the room.

It all looked beautiful and created a super classy and fancy atmosphere! They have tons of great photos of previous work they've done that you should check out as well. I think their work is FANTASTIC, but I can't give them 5 stars b/c I haven't worked with them.

What can I say. One of the best in the business for custom lighting. John and his team have created numerous events for me. Their partnership has been key. They are about the nicest people in the industry. Great choice.

People will usually consider some things as the mandatory part of their wedding choices, and other things are optional, perhaps something that is desired, but only if it can be squeezed into whatever is left in the budget. Many may consider professional lighting as a option for their reception, but we considered it to be mandatory when we had a family wedding and used Enhanced Lighting & Sound for our reception. We had already worked with John & Megan professionally and knew that this is who we wanted when it was time to design our wedding. We LOVED what he did!
