Entertain Me Event Planning

Heidi and her team were absolutely awesome. They were there the whole day helping set up the reception with all my “details”, helping at the ceremony – filling me in on what was going on, and directing the reception so we (me, my DH, or my parents) didn’t have to worry about a thing and could have a great time. Heidi even hung out with the late night crew as we were waiting for the bus to come back and take us downtown. I can’t recommend her enough.

I hired Heidi for Day of Coordination services on my June 7th wedding. Leading up to the wedding she met with me in person twice and then on the day of I literally did not have to think of a thing. She and her team (2 others) were in complete control of the show, never being in the way but always letting me know what was happening when. During the planning she even helped me work out some kinks with a vendor. Even my now husband, who was hesitant about spending the money to have someone for DOC services after I planned everything, said how fantastic it was having her there to make sure everything went as smoothly as it did. I know I would not have been as relaxed as I was on my wedding day if it hadn't been for Heidi. I highly recommend her!!

Hiring Heidi was the best decision we ever made! It was so fantastic to be guests at our own wedding and not have to worry about anything! She set up, she cleaned up, and made sure we had food and drink at every moment! My friends were able to enjoy themselves because Heidi did everything. She coordinated the flow all evening and was busy every time I saw her. I saved money on centerpieces because Heidi lent us bowls to float the flowers in. This was money very well spent.

I hired Heidi to be my DOC - thinking she would just help keep things flowing. But she did that and so much more! I honestly don't know what I would have done without her. She decorated my venue, constructed my flowers, took care of family issues and a thousand other things both big and small - and I'm certain many things I don't even know about. From the moment she showed up in the morning, I knew that she had everything well taken care of and didn't worry about anything. Having Heidi onsite allowed me to actually relax and ENJOY my wedding day. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a DOC! She was without hesitation worth every penny! Book her before she gets away!

Heidi was an excellent wedding coordinator. She was very thorough with everything I needed and without her I would not have made it through my big day! She called all the vendors and made sure they were there and on time. She was in charge of rehearsal and made sure everyone knew what they were doing. The day of my wedding I left everything up to her. I told her what I would like and she made it all happen! I would highly reccomend her to anyone getting married. She made the big day just as I always imagined. Anything that was needed on the day of my wedding she was there and made sure everything was taken care of. Thanks Heidi!!

We had such a wonderful time working with Heidi and Entertain Me Event Planning! This was honestly the best decision that we made with our planning and I would totally recommend her to anyone! I'll admit that I was initally hesitant about getting an event planner--but after one meeting with her and hearing her great ideas, I was totally sold!!

Heidi and her family are so much fun to work with. She literally kept us laughing throughout the whole wedding planning process! Heidi has incredible ideas, great vendors recommendations, and is extremely available and responsive to any questions or concerns. She also went above and beyond the call of duty many, many times (including helping us with photography issues that arose at the last minute).

Heidi had her work cut out for her (we had a rustic location and neither my husband nor I are creative or organized!) but she truly rose to the occasion. We literally had very few ideas when we started, but with Heidi's help and patience we truly had the wedding of our dreams! I can't recommend Entertain Me enough!!

I used Heidi for our day-of coordination and it was the best decision I made throughout the entire planning process. Heidi was not only there the day of my wedding, but she helped me when I had any questions or needed any help throughout the entire planning process! The Thursday before my wedding I met with Heidi and gave her EVERYTHING. I was able to really enjoy spending time with my family on Friday and not have any wedding worries. It was so nice to not have to worry about any of my vendors arriving on time. I knew she had it taken care of!

She made my wedding more that I ever dreamed it could be. It was PERFECT. Looking back, I can't think on one thing that I would have changed and I know that was because of Heidi!

Heidi was fabulous to work with. She made sure every detail was taken care of the day of my wedding. I didn't have to even think about anything but enjoying myself. My bridesmaids even raved what a huge help she was. Heidi was by far the best money I spent on my wedding.

Heidi had coordinated two weddings at our venue in the few months previous to our wedding. As soon as the staff at the venue heard who our coordinator was, they told us we shouldn't worry about a thing because Heidi did an amazing job at those weddings. Our wedding was more of the same!! She was terrific. The reception venue looked better than I could have ever hoped (Heidi took care of setting up our centerpieces, uplights, favors, etc. and so this was totally thanks to her!), and our day went so smoothly. She was on top of everything! Heidi was also very responsive and helpful in the days leading up to the wedding. Highly recommend!

I hired Heidi Kern of Entertain Me Event Planning for my November wedding. I could not have done it without her!! Her and her husband were all over the place the day of the wedding making sure that everything was moving along smoothly. She went above and beyond my expectations and I would highly highly recommend her to others! Heidi is very good at what she does and is such an easy person to work with. She'll help you with decisions and let you know when she doesn't think something will work well, etc.

I got married last September, and I can honestly tell you that I could not have done it without Heidi, and Entertain Me Event Planning. They made sure everything ran smoothly on the day of and coordinated all of my vendors and guests. They even did the decorations themselves! You wouldn't believe the things that come up that you just wouldn't expect and I didn't want my mom or myself to be stressed about any of it. We both thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and felt completely confident leaving everything in Heidi's capable hands. It was absolutely perfect!!

Heidi was amazing to work with and she made my wedding run very smoothly. She always made time for my phone calls and was always willing to meet with me to talk about wedding planning when I came into town. She is also very organized. She handled a lot of little details at the church and even got my 2-year old flower girl to walk down the aisle. She was nice to all my guests, helped carry my dress and flowers when we were taking pictures, rounded the bridal party up for pictures, was there for me if I needed anything, set up my candy buffet and helped break down the room when the reception was over. She even drove my sister home the night of the wedding b/c my parents car was so packed! I highly recommend her; she was a joy to work with!

Entertain Me Event Planning - specifically Heidi - was great. She was my go to person that day and I could not have gotten through the event without her!

My husband and I had wonderful experience with Heidi as the day-of coordinator for our April 18 wedding. After planning almost every detail by ourselves from venues to vendors, I really wanted to have experienced personnel who could take charge of everything and fix the unpredictable on the wedding day. Heidi was THE person who gave me the peace of mind, knowing that she would resolve any problem that may arise and carry out the wedding we envisioned. She was very resourceful and supportive since the first time we met two months before the wedding. She was organized, always available via phone and email, and very professional throughout the process. The month into the wedding, she helped me developed a tentative timeline of the day and make sure I was on track. She went above and beyond on our wedding day, and was very attentive for what we needed and details that we have planned. My main concern was to keep things moving during the group photo shot even though we had a small wedding (45 guests). Heidi worked with my photographers to move the photos along, so we still had time to enjoy the cocktail hour before the reception. In the end of the night, she made sure our stuff was packed away and tied any loose end before leaving for the night. Our wedding went smoothly and beautifully, and we got to enjoy it with our guests stress-free. We really appreciate her work and would highly recommend her to any prospective clients.

Heidi with Entertain Me is unbelievable. I cannot recommend her enough. She went way above and beyond the call of duty with my wedding. I was amazed and unbelievably appreciative of all that she did. We ran out of a certain type of Vodka and before I even knew it, she was already back from buying more. This was not the only above and beyond thing she did - they are countless. She is incredibly professional and you know she cares about the outcome of your wedding. Don't even hesitate to book her immediately.

Heidi executed everything that we wanted and neither Nate or I had a worry in the world. We had met with some other planners who seemed rather judgey---like this is how you do a wedding and you shouldn't detour from that. However, we had some unusual requests and Heidi didn't make us feel like we had 3 heads, but she did offer suggestions on how they would be best executed which we really appreciated.
Honestly, I was a little nervous because there wasn't a lot of a paper trail on my end (and I am one of those crazy people who like every little thing written down---I am a tree killer), etc so I wasn't sure how everything would turn out on the day-of, but I was foolish because it was JUST as we wanted.

Heidi was by far the best decision that we made for our wedding, we decided pretty last minute that we wanted someone to make sure that the day goes smoothly so we can be guests at our own wedding. Our location did come with a contact person who was supposed to make sure that everything went smoothly for us, but still we hired Heidi... and she was the answer to my prayers, she worked her tail off all day, and was always around when I needed anything (and I mean anything). She was a security blanket, she took care of things that I didn't even know needed to be taken care of, she packed up our gifts (AND BROUGHT THEM TO OUR HOTEL ROOM... NOT IN THE BUILDING OUR RECEPTION WAS AT). I can not stress enough that after all of your planning, you need her... you need someone who will run the event, no matter how organized you are.

Hi Heidi,

We are back from our honeymoon and had the most fabulous time in Aruba.

I just wanted to write a quick note to thank you for all of your work at our wedding. Nate and I had the BEST time at our wedding and it was because we didn't have to worry about anything. Set-up was perfect and the soft pretzels were a HUGE hit. We know our wedding was not the most traditional (with mosh pitting, etc) but is everything that we could have ever wanted and we want to thank you for helping to make it happen.

I am sure you have gotten sevral letters just like this one, but just a few weeks ago I didn't know how much you would mean to our wedding day. I knew that I wanted us to enjoy and to be able to be a guest at our wedding and we truly were able to do that.
You both were right there when I needed you, you listened to everything and I am sure you made decisions on my wedding day (some that I may never know) that would truly be what I would have wanted, but that I didn't have to get involved in.
Becuase of you, when I think about our wedding day, we will think of the celebration, not all of the work that you made sure went smoothly.
