Entertain Me Event Planning

I hired Heidi for Day of Coordination services on my June 7th wedding. Leading up to the wedding she met with me in person twice and then on the day of I literally did not have to think of a thing. She and her team (2 others) were in complete control of the show, never being in the way but always letting me know what was happening when. During the planning she even helped me work out some kinks with a vendor. Even my now husband, who was hesitant about spending the money to have someone for DOC services after I planned everything, said how fantastic it was having her there to make sure everything went as smoothly as it did. I know I would not have been as relaxed as I was on my wedding day if it hadn't been for Heidi. I highly recommend her!!

I hired Heidi to be my DOC - thinking she would just help keep things flowing. But she did that and so much more! I honestly don't know what I would have done without her. She decorated my venue, constructed my flowers, took care of family issues and a thousand other things both big and small - and I'm certain many things I don't even know about. From the moment she showed up in the morning, I knew that she had everything well taken care of and didn't worry about anything. Having Heidi onsite allowed me to actually relax and ENJOY my wedding day. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a DOC! She was without hesitation worth every penny! Heidi was an excellent wedding coordinator. She was very thorough with everything I needed and without her I would not have made it through my big day! She called all the vendors and made sure they were there and on time. She was in charge of rehearsal and made sure everyone knew what they were doing. The day of my wedding I left everything up to her. I told her what I would like and she made it all happen! I would highly reccomend her to anyone getting married. I'll admit that I was initally hesitant about getting an event planner--but after one meeting with her and hearing her great ideas, I was totally sold!!

Heidi and her family are so much fun to work with. She literally kept us laughing throughout the whole wedding planning process! Heidi has incredible ideas, great vendors recommendations, and is extremely available and responsive to any questions or concerns. She also went above and beyond the call of duty many, many times (including helping us with photography issues that arose at the last minute).

Heidi had her work cut out for her (we had a rustic location and neither my husband nor I are creative or organized!) but she truly rose to the occasion. We literally had very few ideas when we started, but with Heidi's help and patience we truly had the wedding of our dreams! I can't recommend Entertain Me enough!!

I used Heidi for our day-of coordination and it was the best decision I made throughout the entire planning process. Heidi was not only there the day of my wedding, but she helped me when I had any questions or needed any help throughout the entire planning process! The Thursday before my wedding I met with Heidi and gave her EVERYTHING. I was able to really enjoy spending time with my family on Friday and not have any wedding worries. It was so nice to not have to worry about any of my vendors arriving on time. I knew she had it taken care of!

She made my wedding more that I ever dreamed it could be. It was PERFECT. Looking back, I can't think on one thing that I would have changed and I know that was because of Heidi!

Heidi was fabulous to work with. She made sure every detail was taken care of the day of my wedding. I didn't have to even think about anything but enjoying myself. My bridesmaids even raved what a huge help she was. Heidi was by far the best money I spent on my wedding.

Heidi had coordinated two weddings at our venue in the few months previous to our wedding. As soon as the staff at the venue heard who our coordinator was, they told us we shouldn't worry about a thing because Heidi did an amazing job at those weddings. Our wedding was more of the same!! She was terrific. The reception venue looked better than I could have ever hoped (Heidi took care of setting up our centerpieces, uplights, favors, etc. and so this was totally thanks to her!), and our day went so smoothly. She was on top of everything! Heidi was also very responsive and helpful in the days leading up to the wedding. Highly recommend!

I hired Heidi Kern of Entertain Me Event Planning for my November wedding. I could not have done it without her!! Her and her husband were all over the place the day of the wedding making sure that everything was moving along smoothly. She went above and beyond my expectations and I would highly highly recommend her to others! Heidi is very good at what she does and is such an easy person to work with. She'll help you with decisions and let you know when she doesn't think something will work well, etc.

I got married last September, and I can honestly tell you that I could not have done it without Heidi, and Entertain Me Event Planning. They made sure everything ran smoothly on the day of and coordinated all of my vendors and guests. They even did the decorations themselves! You wouldn't believe the things that come up that you just wouldn't expect and I didn't want my mom or myself to be stressed about any of it. We both thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and felt completely confident leaving everything in Heidi's capable hands. It was absolutely perfect!!

Heidi was amazing to work with and she made my wedding run very smoothly. She always made time for my phone calls and was always willing to meet with me to talk about wedding planning when I came into town. She is also very organized. She handled a lot of little details at the church and even got my 2-year old flower girl to walk down the aisle. She was nice to all my guests, helped carry my dress and flowers when we were taking pictures, rounded the bridal party up for pictures, was there for me if I needed anything, set up my candy buffet and helped break down the room when the reception was over. She even drove my sister home the night of the wedding b/c my parents car was so packed! I highly recommend her; she was a joy to work with!

Entertain Me Event Planning - specifically Heidi - was great. She was my go to person that day and I could not have gotten through the event without her!

My husband and I had wonderful experience with Heidi as the day-of coordinator for our April 18 wedding. After planning almost every detail by ourselves from venues to vendors, I really wanted to have experienced personnel who could take charge of everything and fix the unpredictable on the wedding day. Heidi was THE person who gave me the peace of mind, knowing that she would resolve any problem that may arise and carry out the wedding we envisioned. She was very resourceful and supportive since the first time we met two months before the wedding. She was organized, always available via phone and email, and very professional throughout the process. The month into the wedding, she helped me developed a tentative timeline of the day and make sure I was on track. She went above and beyond on our wedding day, and was very attentive for what we needed and details that we have planned. My main concern was to keep things moving during the group photo shot even though we had a small wedding (45 guests). Heidi worked with my photographers to move the photos along, so we still had time to enjoy the cocktail hour before the reception. In the end of the night, she made sure our stuff was packed away and tied any loose end before leaving for the night. Our wedding went smoothly and beautifully, and we got to enjoy it with our guests stress-free. We really appreciate her work and would highly recommend her to any prospective clients.

Heidi with Entertain Me is unbelievable. I cannot recommend her enough. She went way above and beyond the call of duty with my wedding. I was amazed and unbelievably appreciative of all that she did. We ran out of a certain type of Vodka and before I even knew it, she was already back from buying more. This was not the only above and beyond thing she did - they are countless. She is incredibly professional and you know she cares about the outcome of your wedding. Don't even hesitate to book her immediately.

Heidi was by far the best decision that we made for our wedding, we decided pretty last minute that we wanted someone to make sure that the day goes smoothly so we can be guests at our own wedding. Our location did come with a contact person who was supposed to make sure that everything went smoothly for us, but still we hired Heidi... and she was the answer to my prayers, she worked her tail off all day, and was always around when I needed anything (and I mean anything). She was a security blanket, she took care of things that I didn't even know needed to be taken care of, she packed up our gifts (AND BROUGHT THEM TO OUR HOTEL ROOM... NOT IN THE BUILDING OUR RECEPTION WAS AT). I can not stress enough that after all of your planning, you need her... you need someone who will run the event, no matter how organized you are.

Entertain Me's planner, Heidi Kern was so helpful, professional, and just plain wonderful! She helped me plan my wedding day from beginning to end, AND even helped get our honeymoon details in order. She was there when ever I needed her, I emailed her a ton, and everyone in the wedding party and in our families adored her!! So, I can't say enough good things about her!! Heidi was absolutely amazing and made planning our wedding and the day-of so much easier. She answered any and all questions quickly and had great advice regarding style, decor, timing and any other detail we asked about. She reassured all my bridal worries and has the perfect personality for this job: fun, easy to get along with, yet detail-oriented and no-nonsense. She took care of all vendor issues and got everyone organized to where we had no issues. She's great working with family members too. I would highly recommend Heidi to any engaged couple!

Heidi was amazing! We ran into several tough situations and she guided us perfectly. She also was great at taking charge to get things done exactly how I wanted so there was no need to fret over if decor was set up, if things were cleaned up, etc. Heidi really listened to my wishes and I didn't have to worry about anything. She didn't hestitate to do anything that needed done and touched base regularly to see if we needed anything, like food, drinks, etc. Heidi is very personable and felt more like a friend helping out than a vendor. I would use her again for any large parties and def recommend her for weddings. Overall...Heidi simply went well above and beyond.

We only hired Heidi for our ceremony services. We wanted to make sure we had a coordinator to help during the ceremony (catholic ceremony). Heidi was awesome. She was professional and very easy to get along with. It was definitely worth getting her to help out. If I had wanted a wedding coordinator for my whole day, I definitely would have gotten Heidi – I didn’t need one which is why I didn’t get her but I would recommend her to anyone. She was always quick to respond to my million questions and was there when I needed her for something. You won’t regret booking her!

I can not say enough great things about Heidi and her staff. Whatever you do...HIRE HER!! I initially believed I did not need a wedding planner but many told me I should hire a day of wedding planner. This was one of the best decisions in my wedding planing process. Entertain Me Event Planning was always ten steps ahead of me and was the reason, I believe, the day went off without a hitch. Heidi and her staff helped me to create a beautiful classy welcome board for guests to see as they arrived at the hotel during the wedding weekend. Heidi and her team were in one word phenomenal! We had our wedding 10-30-10 and everything ran so smoothly! If there were any problems, and I don’t believe that there were, Heidi and her team handled it with professionalism and quickly solved the issue. We actually had to postpone our original wedding date because my husband’s brother was deployed overseas; Heidi was so great about it and so understanding and gave us no problems at all with switching the dates. I can’t say enough good things about her, she was a lifesaver and allowed me to enjoy my day and not have to worry about a thing. Heidi assembled our centerpieces (which was no easy task), sweetheart table, cake table, escort card table; I had a lot of DIY projects. Heidi and her team executed everything better than I had imagined. They also made sure everything was pack up and put it in the cars at the end of the night. The simple fact that I could enjoy my night and not have to worry about anything was so beyond what words can explain. I had guest came up to me before they were leaving and actually said to me “I’ve never seen a bride so relaxed and enjoy herself so much at her own wedding before”. If it wasn’t for Heidi there is no way I would have enjoyed myself as much as I did. If you want an easy and carefree day where you do not have to worry about a thing except enjoying yourself, then I highly recommend Heidi and her team.

Our decision to hire Heidi was the best decision of the wedding planning process!!! She was more than amazing!! Although we only hired Heidi as a Day of Coordinator she provided guidance throughout the wedding planning process. She was extremely responsive through emails and was able to give helpful advice!!!'The day of the wedding Heidi was AMAZING!!! The ceremony and reception were BEAUTIFUL!! Everything we discussed prior to the wedding was perfect plus more than I could imagine. Throughout the night, Heidi kept the evening flowing and made everything run perfectly. She even was able to fix my dress multiple times after the bustle broke!!! One of the best decisions we made in planning our wedding was getting a day-of coordinator (DOC), and we could not have been happier with who we chose- Heidi Kern was fantastic! When we met with her the first time, we knew immediately that this was someone who would get things done! She clearly knows what she is doing, and was both encouraging and honest! (if there was something she wasn't sure would work, she'd let us know, and would offer suggestions about how to make everything go perfectly without squashing our style!)A few weeks before the wedding we met again, to sort out all the details. She created a timeline for the wedding, kept in contact with all the vendors to make sure they were on top of everything (and we knew we were in good hands when our other vendors were excited to be working with Heidi again), and generally made our day free of stress. The best way to know if your DOC did a good job is if you never had a moment of stress or worry- we never had to think for a second about whether our vendors were on top of everything, we did not have anyone come to us with any problems, Heidi took care of everything. Further, she went above and beyond on the day of the wedding! We had to make changes due to the weather, as we arrived a huge storm began, but we did not have to spend a minute worrying about what to do, Heidi and our other fantastic vendors made everything work! Heidi also found me stomach soothers for my nervous stomach, made sure we had a ton of food to take back to the hotel with us, even drove me and my new husband back to the hotel so we didn't have to take the shuttle bus back! Her husband was her assistant for the day, and he did a great job too ! (we thought of him as our secret service agent, with sunglasses and walkie-talkie, making sure our day went perfectly). They both were professional, made sure that everything went smoothly, and had fun doing it!Heidi clearly loves her job and does it fantastically well, we recommend her whole-heartedly.

Getting a Day of Coordinator was my birthday gift from my husband. Best birthday gift ever! Heidi and her team were invaluable to me and my family the day of. She took care of any and everything that needed to be done from setting up the escort cards and keeping things moving to making sure everything was packed up at the end of the night. I highly recommend Entertain Me Event Planning for anyone looking for a Day of Coordinator. It gave me peace of mind and let me just enjoy the day.

Heidi made my wedding day absolutely perfect! She coordinated with all vendors and made sure that the worst blizzard on record didn't cause an ounce of trouble on our big day. She let me send decorations and other things for the reception to her home address and then set everything up at the reception site exactly as I'd have doen it if I'd been there myself. Heidi even stepped up and offered to pick up all of the alcohol for us when our first source fell through due to the storm. Heidi was always available by phone and email and really kept me calm, especially during that last week. Thanks to Heidi, my husband and I and our family and friends were truly able to enjoy our wedding day and not worry about a thing. Hire her-- you won't regret it!!

I hired Heidi as my DOC, but she really went above and beyond what a day of coordinator needs to do. She met with me several times in person to help me iron out all of my DIY details and she was always available by phone or email. I had some major issues on our wedding day (including an out of control bridesmaid and a very late cake delivery) and she handled them all. The best money I spent for our wedding was in hiring Heidi!

We hired Heidi for DOC services. She was, however, accessible by e-mail. She coordinated the set-up of our reception venue. I gave her very specific details, layouts, and tons of "little things" that had to be set-up and she did an excellent job. Walking into the reception area took my breath away. She also went above and beyond her duty to coordinate the reception and getting things back to our house. I would recommend her to any bride without reservation.

I found Heidi through my local board on the Knot. My husband and I met with her and didn't bother meeting with anyone else. She instantly understood that our wedding was going to be more like a party than a wedding, and was right on board with our board game theme. We booked Heidi in January and didn't really contact her much until about two months before the wedding. She would send me occasional e-mails asking if I needed anything, but I just didn't! I met up with Heidi twice before our wedding, once to go over details and to discuss matters with her, and finally with our caterer about three weeks before the wedding. At both meetings she was helpful and not shy on offering her opinion or telling the vendor what I wanted. I was waffling on whether or not we should have a bar at our wedding since it was a lunch reception. She convinced me that we should, and you know what? She was right!On the day Heidi was the first vendor I saw in the morning and the last before I left. She and her assistant were very friendly and the day ran very smoothly. We had a very small wedding so I know ours was easier for her than most she does, but she still did a wonderful job. I highly recommend Heidi and her team! If you think you don't need a DOC, trust me, you do. Having Heidi around to do set-up and take care of any last minute problems was worth what I paid her and more!

I had a lot of trouble with my reception venue leading up the big day. However I was totally at ease knowing that Stephanie & Kurt would handle everything. Kurt was awesome at the picture location; he kept us on schedule & ensured we took very artistic shots. Stephanie made the reception venue look better than I could have ever imagined. It truly was stunning! At the end of everything, there is no amount of money that could explain Stephanie & Kurt's worths. Thank you Heidi, Steph, and Kurt for helping me enjoy the best day of my life!

Using Heidi was one of the best decisions I made with my wedding! I was not stressed at all on the day of because I felt so confident that she had everything under control, and she did! She made sure to keep everyone on time, everything in its place. She even helped me some before the wedding when having an issue with my venue. She was more than willing to answer any of my questions by phone or e-mail. She even let us borrow some of her wedding items so we didn't have to purchase it just for one day. She is amazing, I highly recommend her!

I don't even know where to begin with Heidi. She is unbelievable. I used her as my day of coordinator and she went above and beyond any call of duty. In the middle of the reception, we had run out of raspberry vodka. Before we had realized it, her assistant was already back from the liquor store with more. At the end of the reception, it was brought to our attention that the uncle who's car was supposed to be the gift/etc. car, had left without packing up the car. Heidi took our house keys, dropped all of our stuff off at our apartment and made sure everything was put away as she saw fit. The countless big and little things she did were off the charts. She genuinely cares about the outcome of your wedding.

Hiring Heidi was the best decision we ever made! It was so fantastic to be guests at our own wedding and not have to worry about anything! She set up, she cleaned up, and made sure we had food and drink at every moment! My friends were able to enjoy themselves because Heidi did everything. She coordinated the flow all evening and was busy every time I saw her. I saved money on centerpieces because Heidi lent us bowls to float the flowers in. This was money very well spent.

BEST DECISION I MADE IN THE WHOLE WEDDING PLANNING PROCESS

Heidi and her staff were such an important part of out day, that I'm not sure what we would have done without them. She worked side by side with us during the planning process, and her advice was amazing. We ordered invitations from her company, they were PERFECT and were reasonably priced, and she did our centerpieces! We thought the prices were great, the service was flawless, and I am now proud to call her a friend.

We hired Entertain Me "officially" as our day of coordinator. This span of time however stretched quite a while! From Heidi's help finding vendors (a makeup artist mixup and a stressed out bride 5 days before is not a pretty sight!) to being at the walkthrough 2 weeks before the wedding and all her help at the rehearsal dinner and our wedding day, we couldnt have been happier. Her presence and knowledge and "I'll handle it" attitude, made all the difference to allow us to really enjoy our wedding. I used to be a professional event manager so I was no ordinary or easy bride so please know that she really earned this fabulous rating! I had the experience to plan my own wedding so didnt use her for that but would gladly recommend her and her team for either full planning services or day of coordination. If you dont think you need it - YOU DO! Trust me.

My fiancee thought I was crazy for hiring a day of Coordinator until he saw Heidi in action on our wedding day...he realized in about 5 minutes that he was wrong, Heidi was needed not wanted!

To quote my father "Heidi was a godsend" (and he's not an easy man to please). Heidi did everything right - she was a huge help throughout the planning process, the week of the wedding she coordinated all the vendors and set up the master schedule, and on the day of she took care of everything that I did not want to deal with. My wedding day was vastly improved because of Heidi - I could focus on the important things and not worry about the details at all. The band started playing the wrong song - Heidi was there to fix it. My drink needed a refill - she was there to refill it. But when everything was going smoothly, I didn't even notice she was there - which is how it should be! She also took care of setting up the reception room and taking it down afterwards - and she even delivered all of the presents and leftover favors to my hotel room! On top of being professional, organized, and helpful without being pushy, Heidi paid for herself with all of her money-saving tips. I would have spent MUCH more money on flowers and printing costs - but Heidi helped me out and saved me more money than it cost to hire her! I highly recommend Heidi for any bride!

We used Heidi as both a day-of-coordinator and also for some wedding planning. She was great with ideas and steering us to vendors. Along with her sister-in-law, she did our flowers for a very reasonable price and they were beautiful. I didn't worry once the day of my wedding that everything would be done when I got there. She was great at making sure that we had everything we needed at every moment. My bustle got ripped twice and both times she easily pinned it back. She had a massive box of fix-it stuff for every type of emergency. Our only frustration during the process was that we would drive to her house for meetings and the meetings wouldn't always be what we thought they would be about. I'm not sure if it was a confusion on our end or her end. Overall though she was amazing and I would use her again.

Heidi executed everything that we wanted and neither Nate or I had a worry in the world. We had met with some other planners who seemed rather judgey---like this is how you do a wedding and you shouldn't detour from that. However, we had some unusual requests and Heidi didn't make us feel like we had 3 heads, but she did offer suggestions on how they would be best executed which we really appreciated.
Honestly, I was a little nervous because there wasn't a lot of a paper trail on my end (and I am one of those crazy people who like every little thing written down---I am a tree killer), etc so I wasn't sure how everything would turn out on the day-of, but I was foolish because it was JUST as we wanted.

We are back from our honeymoon and had the most fabulous time in Aruba.

I just wanted to write a quick note to thank you for all of your work at our wedding. Nate and I had the BEST time at our wedding and it was because we didn't have to worry about anything. Set-up was perfect and the soft pretzels were a HUGE hit. We know our wedding was not the most traditional (with mosh pitting, etc) but is everything that we could have ever wanted and we want to thank you for helping to make it happen.

I am sure you have gotten sevral letters just like this one, but just a few weeks ago I didn't know how much you would mean to our wedding day. I knew that I wanted us to enjoy and to be able to be a guest at our wedding and we truly were able to do that.
You both were right there when I needed you, you listened to everything and I am sure you made decisions on my wedding day (some that I may never know) that would truly be what I would have wanted, but that I didn't have to get involved in.
