Erica Berger Wedding Photography

I wish there was a way to give Erica more then a 5 out of 5 rating! I honestly believe that she is one of the most talented, creative photographers I have been in contact with. My husband and I met with many photographers before we found Erica and we were so discouraged! Then it was like a mircle meeting her!!! Her work speaks for itself, she is just INCREDIBLE!!! And to top it all of, her turn around time is better then anyone! I have friends that waited 6 months to a year for their pictures, we got our proofs less then 2 months after the wedding, and she uploaded pictures the NEXT day to my facebook which makes her a ROCKSTAR in my book!! Oh and did I mention that her prices are UNBEATABLE!! Anyone that lives in the tri-state area and does not look into her is a fool!!!

We haven't had our wedding yet but so far Erica has been great. We set up a meeting with her and she showed us some of her work and we got to know each other a little bit. She reminds me of one of my friends which makes me really comfortable around her. I love her work (she is very talented) and am so excited for her to take our pics. I'll update as soon as we do our engagement session :)

(we) cannot thank you enough for the wedding photos…to say they’re “amazing” really doesn’t do your work justice. Let me start off by saying that I’m not my #1 fan in photos…but out of the 500 or so shots we have so far…there is NOTHING I would delete. My other self-critic in the family (that would be Mama Bloom) also loves herself in these…which is nothing short of a miracle. You’ve captures the mood, spirit and energy of our wedding flawlessly. Every shot is just “us” - without too much posing or “picture” faces going on. The group shots are amazing and take me right back to that moment. I am so glad we found you and hope that you can keep capturing pictures of our family as it grows (of course, I suppose we should get on it before you become way too famous and expensive for us…ha ha ha ha ha ha)Thank you again.Katia & Gleb

As qhaha said, she must have a double personality to book so many weddings. I wanted to really love her- her packages are great and so are her pictures, but our meeting was so inappropriate and unprofessional that I still can't get over it. Please feel free to email me with questions about our meeting. Needless to say, we are going with someone else.

It seems like Erica has a double personality - one where she seems to be an awesome photographer, but the other that is not responsive and unprofessional. I experienced the unprofessional side.

After looking at her portfolio online I was impressed by her talent and skill, not to mention her great price. Well, trying to arrange for an appointment to meet with her was another story. She canceled the first appointment and pushed it back for no reason. No problem, I thought, things change all the time. We reschedule for another date. Then she cancels again because she says she's going out of town to NY (which I guess is her hometown). Ok, that's fine. I still want to at least meet her in person. Well, then later she comes back and says she's decided to not be here in 2009 (my wedding year) to shoot any weddings. (very weird, since I think she's booking Bay Area weddings for 2009) She cancels on the day of the appointment, 3 hours before the time we were scheduled to meet (for the 3rd time). Good thing I didn't make the trip over the Bay Bridge without checking my email first.

Bottom line - her actions were not only unprofessional but just plain discourteous. After that experience, I didn't want to worry that she'd "reschedule" my wedding date and not show up. Her photos look great, but my peace of mind wins out. Perhaps if you catch her on a good day you'll get something better.

Erica is a really GREAT photographer, I love all of my photos!!! She was easy to work with and was flexible enough to come to the house we were renting to take the bridal shots.

Erica is a really good and talented photographer. Even though she just recently started in a wedding world photography, she knows what she is doing. The only thing is that she is so busy that she doesn't respond to emails very fast. You need to remind her or call her. Other then that, the pics are amazing.

I met with Erica what seems to be many moons ago and hired her right away to be my wedding photographer. We ended up having an engagement session and a trash the dress session as well as having her shoot our wedding (all part of her gold package)! We could not be happier in any way. Once we made our commitment to her and got the contract she was always quick to respond to my e-mails and being on a shoot with her was always so fun and easy! Her work speaks for itself, but if you haven't checked it out yet, it is all stunning! I would highly recommend Erica to anyone looking for a wedding photographer, she is young and excited about what she is doing and she does it for a cheaper price and way better than most! She always made me feel beautiful and comfortable and after our final trash the dress shoot I am ready to be a professional dress trasher, it was soooo much fun. Hiring Erica to take pictures was the best wedding decision we made. She's a creative genius. Erica shoots with different lenses, edits in a variety of styles, and honestly, our wedding day looks a lot more beautiful in her photos than it did in real life. She's sweet and funny, will direct you into cute poses if you want her to, and has a great eye for cool props and locations. Her rates are low enough that you should hire her even if you don't live in the Bay Area. We hired her for our Vegas elopement, and she was far superior to any of the local photgraphers, at any price.
