My Husband and I were very fortunate to have had Erica Chan as our wedding photographer, she was a perfect fit for us on our special day.
We had visited her profile and were blown away at the creativity and quality of her photos, and new that's who we wanted to capture the precious moments of our wedding day. We were married with our toes in the sand on the beautiful Island of Maui and it couldn't had been more perfect. Erica is a personable, profession, funny and fun gal that truly will do what it takes for "the perfect shot", I didn't have to worry a minute, I was confedent she would make the magic happen. We had our beach ceremony and reception and we had the privliage of her services the next morning for a SUPER FUN trash the dress shoot where we drove all around the Island riding bikes, climbing rocks and surfing in our wedding attire, she provided all the prob and seemed as excited as if it were her own wedding adventure.
Erica, thanks again for the forever lasting memories!

We could not be happier with Erica Chan! We initially just browsed her pictures on her website and loved her work, but that was just the beginning. Once we decided to go with her, she was quick to respond to any emails, she was upbeat/friendly and very positive, she listened to what we wanted and in the end did a fantastic job photographing our wedding. All our friends and family comment on how awesome our pictures turned out. We did not go with the album package, but she had a 'sneak peak' up on her blog within days of the wedding, and our pictures were given to us within 2 weeks! We loved the edits she did.. she truly got our vision. We got the additional photographer option, which was a great choice as the other photographer was amazing as well. My husband hates getting his picture taken, but Erica and her team made the whole day comfortable and very positive and he ended up actually enjoying the 2 hour photo-session after the wedding. We couldn't recommend Erica enough.. you will not be disappointed!! THANKS AGAIN Erica!

Erica is absolutely wonderful and extremely talented. We were so thankful to have Erica and Pete with us leading up to and on our wedding day!! We love the images from our engagement shoot and wedding day. We had a large bridal party of 20 people and Erica managed to coordinate the whole group and captured images that we will cherish forever. Not only is Erica a talented photographer but she is a great person who I loved sharing our big day with. I would highly recommend Erica and Pete. :)

I absolutely cannot say enough great things about Erica! From start to finish, she was wonderful. Photography was one of the most important aspects of my wedding. I wanted a great photographer to capture every moment of our ceremony since we were having a destination wedding and leaving so many friends and family at home. I contacted many photographers and looked through so many online portfolios, and Erica just stood out to me. She responded quickly to my emails, answering all of my questions at any time of the day. She was so friendly, and I just knew from the beginning that she was perfect for our wedding. I met her for the first time when I was about to walk down the aisle and she greeted me with a hug and smile. She captured every moment, from our guests arriving at the beach, to my husband and groomsmen before the ceremony. She took pictures of us all along the beach and did a great job of keeping beach goers out of our shots. You get all of your pictures on a disk, and believe me, she takes A LOT! She is truly a talented photographer and wonderful person! I would recommend her to anyone that is planning a destination wedding in Hawaii!

My husband and I are so happy with our photos. Erica was relaxed, easy to work with and very professional. She had pre-planned all of the photos so we spent a shorter amount of time the day of our wedding taking photos. Overall I had such a great experience!

Erica's service was beyond my wife and I's expectation. From her attention to detail to friendly but professional service we were pleased along the way. Her price was higher that other photogs we interview, however it was worth every penny and more to receive the level of quality we did.

Photography, we found, was the single most important thing on our amazing day as it was what we used to remember, to thank guests and to illustrate all the emotion we went through. Erica captured it all and i'm happy to recommend her as a professional and a friend.

Erica is hands down the BEST photographer! She's fun, easy going, professional, and a perfectionist! She pays attention to all the details and will spend the time to get the perfect shot and her pictures show it. Any bride would be lucky to have Erica capture her special day! Its hard to put into words how impressed I was with Erica ! First of all, she is a ridiculously talented photographer ...with such a fine eye for interesting settings/ backdrops. Just as importantly,
Erica has this "way" about her that makes you feel so comfortable around her which, in turn, makes you really comfortable being in front of the camera... ultimately making for more real/natural/better photographs. In fact, my wedding party kept remarking how much fun they were having taking photographs with Erica, and looking back, the photo shoot with Erica was one of the highlights of my entire wedding day. My sister is getting married this summer, and there was no question in her mind - Erica was her #1 choice for a photographer... thx Erica !!

I don't even know where to start, Erica was absolutely fabulous. Erica was recommended to me by one of the doctors I work with. After watching her wedding slide show and viewing her website I knew I had to have her do my wedding. From the first email response, Erica was extremely easy to work with. I was in contact with 3 other photographers and Erica was the most responsive and flexible. I have been in many weddings and a lot of the time the wedding party doesn't look forward to the photo session, almost two years later friends are still commenting on how fun our photo session was. Erica flew in the morning of our rehearsal dinner and that was the first time we met, she was even sweeter in person. Sometimes it uncomfortable to have someone take your picture and Erica did a really good job of helping me relax. After the wedding I couldn't wait to see the photos. She uploaded the photos online so quickly so I could see them and I couldn't be happier. Whatever you do, buy the slideshow!!! It is still my favorite memory of the day. The women in my dad's office cried when they watched it. The photos and slideshow turned out better then I could ever imagine. I also had an album made, a large keepsake for me and two smaller ones for my mom and mother-in-law. They are beautiful and modern. I am sad that we don't live closer because I would love to hangout with Erica. I cannot wait for my sister and sister-in-law to get married because then I'll get to see Erica again. There was not one negative for the entire expierence, it was perfect. Thank you Erica for making my wedding day easy and the memories last forever with the photos, slideshow and album.

Erica and Peter were so much more than the people taking our wedding photos. They spent hours with us before the actual ceremony and became friends that were so comfortable and fun to be around and you can see that clearly in the pictures. My wedding party told me that the photo part of the day was one of the highlights. We couldn't have asked for more.

You absolutely will not be disappointed if you work with Erica Chan on your wedding day - or any day for that matter! We used Erica for our wedding in Maui and are just thrilled with the outcome. Her photos are incredibly creative and she sees things no one can. We didn't give her a list of any must have shots and were really open to whatever she suggested. Did i mention, she got them to us exactly 2 weeks to the day after our wedding? We literally have over 500 pictures that are a perfect reminder of our special day.

My husband and I splurged and went with Erica's premium wedding package and it was worth every penny! We fell in love with Erica's work from the first wedding slideshow we saw and were in tears when we first viewed our wedding through her eyes! Her ability to catch the emotion of the moment is truly a gift.

Erica is explorative, fun, creative at the same time very tasteful! There's a realness and unique flavor in her work. I love the results and had a fantastic time working with her team!

It was so natural and easy having Erica photograph our ceremony.. I felt like I already knew her!! I'm so glad we managed to snag her last minute for our date. Professional, friendly and accommodating.. can't ask for much more. Quick turn around on photos and she provided a surfboard prop that ended up being some of my favourite shots!

There just arn't enough good things to say! We got married in the mainland so we decided to trash my dress on our honeymoon. They came out 1million times better than I could have ever imagined them to be! I can't tell you how many compliments ive gotten on our pictures, even more than our actual wedding pictures. Erica was so awesome, she was so laid back and we felt so comfortable with her so we had so much fun taking the pictures! I promise you coudn't be disapoinnted with her!

If ten star ratings were possible, Erica would get ten in every category. I won't be able to put into words how amazing Erica is. Our wedding photos were more than I could have asked for. Every time I watch the slideshow Erica put together or look through the thousands of pictures that were taken, I am able to vividly re-live the entire day. We have great formal pictures but equally as wonderful carefree photos that capture candid moments during our wedding day. We also did "trash the dress" pictures that were more than i could have hoped for. Erica has the best eye and great ideas, and gives helpful direction for posing in ways that look natural. She captured shots while we were being silly, too, that were really fun. Erica is exactly what you want from a wedding photographer.

Erica is the perfect mix of professional and fun/friendly/unobtrusive. I had only met her once before my wedding, but on my wedding day it was so comfortable to be around Erica that I felt as if we had asked one of our friends to take our pictures. In fact, I would totally count Erica as a friend. She is just absolutely amazing. The best.

My now husband & I stumbled upon Erica Chan Photography while researching our selected venue for our wedding in Costa Rica. In fact, it was a gorgeous slideshow of a wedding that was shot by her at the venue that convinced me to book our resort. After talking to the couple whose wedding she photographed, I contacted her, with slim hopes that I could make this work. I was sold & convinced I wanted none other after our conversations. Erica's artful eye, and capacity to capture the moments & feel of the day surpassed all my expectations. In fact, what I didn't account for is the importance of feeling at ease with the photographer you select, as they are with you all day long --- & I felt immediately like I'd found a new lifelong friend. At the same time, when we received all the photos, I was amazed at how unaware I was of many of the special moments that she was able to share with me through her photos. In fact, my nephews called her the "ninja photographer"! Literally 2-3 days after our wedding, we were surprised to receive a link via email to a slideshow she created for us. We shared this with all of our guests immediately, and the acclaims for her talents were endless! Her artistic eye, her personality, her calming presence..... she was the best gift I could've given myself on my wedding day! We have since then also received a complete disc with all of the images, and a gorgeous wedding album created by her. I have also continued to get inquires from friends & family & co-workers as to "who was your photographer?", and it's been 8 months since my wedding! Brides/grooms: Simply visit her website, and have a conversation with her, and you will see what I was lucky to have found. I would sing her praises to anyone who wants to listen!

Erica was an integral part of our day and an outstanding addition to our very small wedding on Maui. She offered on-the-fly flexibility facilitating a smoother wedding day, without intruding on special moments. Her photos were beautiful and she accomodated a very tight-turn around on photo receipt for us, without hesitation.
