My husband and I are delighted with the experience that Erin Michelle Photography provided us with. Erin is a an amazing artist and it shines through her work.My husband and I, as well as our family and friends can not get enough of the images she creates. However, not only is Erin's photography magical, but she also has a lovely personable demeanor. Erin was an amazing person to work with! She was extremely professional and so flexible with our hectic schedule. One of the biggest reasons we went with Erin as our photographer was her calm easy going demeanor. She is patient and talented. Her ability to capture the moment seems effortless. We would both highly recommend Erin Michelle Photography for your wedding! We will defiantly be calling her when the time comes for baby pictures

I have a heart for wedding photography. Every couple is unique, every wedding a new celebration of love and commitment. My passion for capturing the "moments between moments" is what continually leads me to develop my art and love for photography. I believe the best photography comes from the genuine relationships I build with my clients. FAQ for Erin Michelle Photography
How long have you been shooting? I have been pursuing photography for a little over 10 years-starting in film classes in high school, first learning nature photography, and now focusing entirely on lifestyle photography. I have a passion for capturing those true relational moments in people’s lives—and I strive to show that in my photography.
Do I have to have an engagement session? No you do not, however I highly recommend having one (especially since they are included in your wedding package!). They give us the chance to work together and get used to each other (you with my shooting style and for me with how to best make you feel comfortable in front of the camera). Plus, I love meeting my clients and getting to know them, but the real sweetness is the rad images you will have!
How exactly do you “shoot” an event? I love to capture the real you. I love getting to truly know my clients- not just a business transaction, but to really get to know you- lets be real here…. this is your wedding. I am passionate about my couples, I want to incorporate every ounce of YOU in the images. I do this by getting to know you, what makes you tick- what you love as a couple and as individuals. It’s not surprising to see me climbing or crawling around to get the “shot”. We are ultimately trying to capture the interaction between you and your loved ones. The real smiles and making each other laugh. I may direct you some, or make suggestions; however I stay away from too many “formal” images. I am a lifestyle photographer and I love to be truly artistic in my images- and I strive to make truly memorable images for you and your family to enjoy for years to come.
The best light to shoot in is just before sunset or just after sunrise, so we should schedule the shoot for an hour and a half before sun down.
Additional Answers & Advice:
1. When looking around for a potential wedding or family photographer, make sure that they are truly passionate about what they do. What I mean by this is– is their Heart in it? When you meet/ talk with them can you sense the excitement of shooting your event? Do you click? Do you like them? Do you like their style of photos? Remember for most couples your photographer is going to be with you all day on your wedding- it should be more than just a business interaction.
2. Know what you are paying for. It is vital for clients to understand what is involved in the investment of professional wedding photography. You are hiring a photographer to capture one of the happiest, most memorable days of your life and you want someone who is as passionate about your wedding as they would be about their own. The investment of hiring Erin Michelle Photography includes friendly, professional, unobtrusive photography; reliable service; top of the line equipment; dedicated post-editing to make your images look even more fabulous; and someone who consistently goes above and beyond the call of duty to make sure your day goes as smoothly as possible.
3. Don’t be afraid to ask questions. Many times a wedding photographer is the clients first time hiring a professional photographer. Many photographers have various policies that can be confusing when shopping around. We like to keep things as simple and clear as possible and always welcome a conversation with a client!
