Todd was an amazing dj! He made our wedding really fun and made sure everything was exactly the way we wanted it to be. He has great attention to detail and made sure all of our guests had a blast!

DJ Todd was awesome to work with! He was very professional, upbeat and organized. He has state of the art equipment (music and lighting) and set up my ceremony, cocktail hour and reception music for my wedding. I got so many compliments on what a great DJ he was. We told him what we liked and didn't like and he mixed the music perfectly. When a song wasn't getting people out on the dance floor, he quickly faded it out and switched it up. He is very responsive and I felt like we were in good hands. Also, visiting his studio was a very pleasant experience. I definitely recommend Todd!

Is there a word for "beyond perfect"? DJ Todd helped make our wedding even more amazing and truly "us" than ever imagined. My husband and I are VERY into music so selecting a DJ was not taken lightly. Todd knew and had all the songs and genres we wanted-- from Hawaiian slack key to latin jazz to our Irish recessional ditty to old school funk to good ol' Tom Waits. He has been in the biz for many years and knows OC venues and vendors like few others- and it shows. He is always smiling and in an upbeat, excitable mood, which was contagious! We could NOT have asked for a better team than DJ Todd and Essential Mobile Music. I am still smiling from ear to ear!!!

DJ Todd was amazing. Best DJ and emcee I have ever seen at any wedding. His online system helped us easily build our play list and special event songs (first dance, cake cutting, garter toss, etc). This was very helpful since we were planning our wedding from the other side of the country. Todd met with us the week before the wedding and went over the entire evening with us and played us samples of songs to make sure everything went just like we wanted. We also threw a last minute curveball at him with our introductions of the bridal party and he handled it like a pro. Todd was professional, full of energy, kept things moving, and artfully handled any requests or changes to the plan we threw at him. I would highly recommend him for any of your DJ needs.

Dj Todd was great to work with! He was very responsive and always available to help or ease any questions that I had. He truly has a gift-- he can keep the party going and everyone up on their feet. His music selection was flawless and I didnt even have to make countless pages of do-play and do-not play lists. He sat down, got to know us and knew exactly what we wanted and didnt want. Was always there to help us out with planning, had the best music selection, best equipment and played the best songs to keep everyone on the dance floor all day and night. We had our day wedding at the Chart House and an after party that night at my parents house. I was worried people wouldn't dance at the day wedding but he had everyone out on the floor the entire time. He kept the good times going at the after party and set up karaoke. Todd was the best. I'm now trying to come up with an exuse to have another house party so he can DJ. Pick Todd for your wedding/party and you won't be disappointed!

Todd did an unbelievable job at our wedding. He was a pleasure to work with and has a wealth of knowledge to share. Even though we had a wedding planner, he helped plan and outline the flow of our big day. He catered not only to our needs and our guests requests, but he brought a sense of calm when we were hit by a storm at our mostly outdoor wedding at the beach. Of all the vendors, he was by far the most valuable!

Todd was an amazing DJ, we learned that DJ's don't get enough credit after seeing what Todd did for us. He was really the heart of the wedding. He was right on cue for everything and kept us on schedule, played all the songs we wanted, interacted with the crowd and even did little extras like giving out hats for YMCA and his million dollar advice dollars that were really cute!

I can enough about how pleased I was with DJ Todd and Essential Mobile Music. From the moment we spoke with our DJ, we knew we would be happy with his services for our wedding. He gave us such detailed answers as to what services he would provide and how he would provide it. While there were many things to worry about in the planning, coordination, and execution of our wedding, the DJ'ing wasn't one of them as DJ Todd effortlessly handled both DJ and MC duties. Mine was! I have my vendors to thank for that. DJ Dawn was our DJ for our wedding night. I met with both she and Todd months before my wedding. They were a wonderful team and I had a postive gut feeling immediatly after having met them. As weddings tend to fly by, Dawn did such an awesome job making my top pick songs the most memorable. She worked so well with my other vendors and I think that is sooo important, to insure a smooth flow throughout your wedding day. I didnt have to worry about a thing! She was super sweet and knows what shes doing. I did hear some songs i didnt specifically pick, but they were all my style of music. Dawn made all the announcements that I wanted and did a fine job. There were some spontanious moments at my wedding and she kept up with each one of them.

Todd was great, he met with us whenever we needed too. He was always availible by phone and never wasted time calling me back. He came to the ceremony before we asked him to and had the system set up and working, he also did the reception as well and had a complete 2nd system to use. Both worked flawlessly and sounded great. His prices were reasonable and the service was fantastic. We had a Romanian/American wedding and Todd did a wonderful job with mixing the music and keeping the party going. People were on the dance floor the whole night. Todd is very upbeat,fun and very energetic. Hiring DJ Todd was the best decision my husband and I made for our wedding day. DJ Todd cares deeply about his work, and he puts his whole heart into creating a memorable evening for you. He is very creative too! After sitting down with him for just a few minutes we knew we would be fools not to hire him. Todd made great song recommendations before the big day, played songs that kept the dance floor hoppin' all night, and added his own spin by reading advise dollars. Not only did DJ Todd provide excellent music throughout the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and dancing, but he helped to orchestrate a seamless schedule that the wedding followed to stay on time and never get bogged down. DJ Todd made our wedding enjoyable for everyone who attended. Todd was professional, yet fun at the same time. He was very easy to speak with and was always available when we needed him. His ideas were clever and it made a lasting impression on our guests. We really like the fact he was able to show the music videos on his screen, while the songs were being played. Having the screen also ensured that all our guests could see our slideshows. Todd has "uplighting" available, which helped to create a nice color splash on the walls. Essential Mobile Music was amazing!! The wedding music as well as the reception music was just perfect. Todd played everything we asked for, and was very helpful and organized. He took the time to meet with us before the wedding a few times to pick out music!! He was just perfect!! I will be sure to use him for every single event I have in the future!!!!

We had Danny for our wedding. We would not recommend him at all. At our meetings, he made it seem that he understood what we want, but in fact he did not. We had a slide show at our wedding and asked him several times if he needed it in any special format. He said it doesn't matter. Our slideshow was on a dvd and it turns out he didn't have a dvd player on his laptop. Good thing we had a copy on a USB drive or else we wouldn't have had a slideshow at all. Second, I gave him a little script so he can mention why there is a chinese tea ceremony at the wedding. This was not done. Not very happy with him at all!!!

Essential Mobile was amazing at our wedding. DJ Todd was very nice and professional and helped us pick out the perfect songs for our wedding. We actually got a flat tire in front of his house and he let us wait inside of his home for over an hour until the tow truck got there. His wife Dawn was the one who did the music for our wedding. She was so much fun dancing and getting everyone involved in the wedding. I would definetly reccomend Essential Mobile Music to anyone looking for the perfect wedding. It was a pleasure working with them and would definetly call them for any future events we have.

We had DJ Dawn for our wedding. Her and her husband, Todd, are great people to work with. They are easy going and listen to what you want, while giving suggestions. They have lots of great ideas to make you wedding go smoothly and to get your guests involved.

I hate to write anything negative about them because they are really nice and good people but...

Our wedding started 1.5 hours late due to really bad traffic. We asked her to stay overtime for that reason. She agreed. After the 1.5 hours were up, she refused to stay any longer because her daughter was at home. It was not even 11 pm yet. The music didn't run smoothly the entire time. Our recessional song started late, we were already halfway down the aisle. I don't remember hearing our cake cutting song (i'm still waiting for our video to find out). We're pretty sure she didn't play a lot for the songs we requested. From what our guests told us, she wasn't very impressive on the microphone.

I suggest to ask your DJ how much overtime they will be able to do for your wedding so you don't end up in our situation. We negotiated an overtime rate with ours so we didn't think it would be a problem. I believe that her husband, Todd would have done a much better job. He was the one that did most of the talking during our meetings but he was already booked for our day.

DJ Dan was a breeze to plan with. He understood the type of wedding we were going for, and provided that and more the day of. We received many compliments about his music choices, and he was extremely professional and great to work with.

Todd is an awesome MC/DJ and does a great job. He is personable and works well with other vendors. Our clients love to work with Todd. I highly recommend him for your wedding or event.
