When I saw pictures Ethan took of my friend Shari's wedding years ago, I knew that I had to have Ethan on my wedding day! As soon as I became engaged, I reached out to see if he was available, he books up really far in advance, so I was lucky he was available!

I'm not exaggerating when I say that I have never seen anything like what Ethan creates. Ethan isn't just a wedding photographer, he is an artist who travels the world creating stunning visions. There is no one that can do what he does and though he is on the high end of price, I cannot imagine that he will be affordable for long--it is only a matter of time before Ethan's talents skyrocket him to super stardom where someone like myself will no longer be able to access his talents for less than a small fortune. If there is something you will splurge on for your wedding--it HAS to be photography! This is the only thing from your wedding that will last forever and no one can capture the emotion like Ethan.

On the wedding day Ethan is like a phantom, moving in between people quickly and quietly he is unobtrusive and you forget he is there, documenting everything. His pictures are stunning, elegant, amazing. Thank you Ethan!

Ethan was really amazing. His picture quality and photojournalism style is definitely what drew me to his work. I could not have imagined going with another vendor. He was the very first vendor we booked, even before we knew where we were getting married.

We used Ethan Yang Photography as our videographer for our June wedding. Even though we have not seen any highlight reels yet, I have no doubt that the final product will turn out amazing. Jun was incredibly professional and so nice to work with. He was not intrusive and he was very easy going. We are so lucky to have found EYP for our special day!!

Ummmm... where to start! Ethan Yang and his team was amazing! Especially from the engagement photos to the end of the reception. Ethan really cares about his work. He truly will bend over backwards to get you amazing pictures. He is also very responsive to emails and phone calls. He is very flexible too and caters to the bride's dream wedding pictures. During the engagement photos, he went through rain, wind, snow, cold, and sand and gave us amazing photos. Also, during the wedding, every time I turned around and wished someone had a camera cause I wanted to take pictures with family and friends, someone was always there from his team. I love Ethan Yang and his team! Totally worth it!!!!

Ethan Yang was by far our favorite person to work with throughout the entire wedding process. For our engagement photos, he had a real eye for beautiful shots that we would never have discovered before. He made us feel really at ease and really worked with us to create tons of photos that by far exceeded our expectations. The photos came out GORGEOUS, and that got us really excited about working with him for our wedding.

For our wedding, his whole team (him, 2nd photographer, and videographer) was just amazing. The dedication his whole team had throughout the night was definitely beyond what we expected from our photographer. He came early and stayed until the very end, even though our wedding ran over and got really late. When he came in, my bridesmaids and I were painting some things for our gift table and he and his videographer quickly got straight to work to make sure they captured it on tape. They went out of their way to make sure to capture every moment that was special and memorable throughout the day.

Ethan and his team did a phenomenal job of scoping out the venue and taking great shots. We thought we knew the hotel inside out after an entire year of planning, but Ethan found so many hidden gems throughout the hotel that we didn’t even know existed (even the hotel coordinator was impressed). I was nervous about throwing together a very complicated wedding with several friends participating / being involved in the ceremony – Ethan walked me through the entire day, coming up with great suggestions and he really did a thorough job of understanding what was most important to me that day. At the very end, even though my now husband and I (and I’m sure his whole team) were exhausted, he still pulled us aside to take some closing last shots of our wedding night.

I think there’s a reason why Ethan doesn’t have a single negative comment online. In every aspect, he and his whole team exceeded our expectations. We really did our research and checked out dozens of photographers (many that were more expensive) - his photos were by far our favorite - they were very unique, classy, with a touch of creativity. He really knows how to work lighting/angles/etc to create a phenomenal end product. From the first time I saw the photos and videos on his website to working with him during the engagement session to the entire wedding day, we were extremely excited and impressed by...

Ethan came out to Chicago for our hotel wedding this past november. My wife and I are in the high-end design business, so we're super snooty and picky about who we hire. Regardless of location or budget, we literally searched every wedding photographer all over the country. We wanted to find the BEST.

Once we found Ethan (actually from a referral) and found out he was available, we booked him right away. What is so amazing about Ethan is how natural he is. Our hotel is brand new and Ethan has never been there -- but the minute he walked in, he was a complete rock star! He took photos that look like they belong in a magazine. All our photos look like stills from a movie - not a wedding photo. Even with our 100+ Korean speaking guests, Ethan coordinated perfectly for family photos, and everything he did was ahead of schedule.

Everyone at the wedding was raving about Ethan. His imagination and ideas for unique photos and poses are so much fun! He is not shy about asking for a great shot -- he asked hotel staff to move things, relocate, and help us to get the right shots. I've never met someone so focused and elegant in his work.

Honestly, we would have paid double what he charged us for his work...it's just out of this world. If you want traditional boring wedding pics, don't hire Ethan. Ethan's photos WILL make you look like a model and movie star...his lighting, angles, and style is simply over the top. Ethan is not your average photographer -- he's not talented - he's a straight up GENIUS in his work. He's the only photographer I'll ever recommend to anyone ever for the rest of our lives.

Ethan is a spectacular photographer, we simply cannot recommend him highly enough. While he may not the least expensive choice, he is definitely a superb value - his dedication and work are unsurpassed. Ethan truly is an artist, and we feel so lucky to have found him for our wedding. His team was so professional and unobtrusive, yet somehow managed to take fabulous photos for 10 straight hours! We received our slideshow sooner than expected, and everyone who sees it is absolutely floored by his work. Ethan also offered to take photos of our dog the day before she passed away, and we are so very grateful to have such beautiful photos to remember her by. He is both compassionate and talented. Selecting ethanyang photography for our wedding was one of the best decisions we made!

loved the way they worked on the wedding day. they seemed invisible but was also able to capture all the shots they needed! also, they were great to have around. you never expect how exhausted you seem and may look after smiling for a million pictures after a while. ethan and his crew were upbeat, cheerful, reliable, and respectful to family members throughout the night, which was definitely helpful. needless to say, he has a great eye and his pictures are beautiful, but you can tell that just from looking at his website.

Ethan photographed my wedding in August, 2011. My husband and I knew that we wanted Ethan to photograph our wedding when we saw pictures from a friend's wedding that he worked on last summer. Photography is very important to us, and so he was the first vendor we booked as soon as we had a wedding date (and thank goodness because he has gotten very busy!). Ethan was wonderful to work with. He was flexible, kind, and completely devoted to us on our wedding day. He was with us every step of the way, and changed locations with us from the hotel to the venue. I first heard about Ethan Yang through mutual friends. My friends booked him for weddings, family photos, engagement sessions... When I saw his work online, I was amazed. After meeting him and seeing his albums/work in person, I was really blown away. His artistic & creative ability to story tell through his photos is just amazing. After my fiance saw his website, he didn't want to continue our 'search' and wanted to book Ethan right away. Working with Ethan was so great from the start to finish. Great with communication and able to get you comfortable in front of a camera. Ethan was truly amazing to work with. From the beginning of our wedding planning to the day of, he made us feel at ease. Absolutely wonderful. Ethan did our engagement and wedding day photos. He was extremely accomodating, gracious, creative, professional, easy-going, altogether wonderful! I can't say enough great things about him. He has great ideas as to venues to take pictures. For our engagement session, we went to 3 seperate locations and spent pretty much the entire day shooting. Although I was exhausted, Ethan was energetic and ready to go for more!

There's absolutely no time clock with him. On my wedding day, he was shooting from the salon all the way until the DJ started packing up. Even during the wedding, he already had a laptop up with photos taken in the morning. When I returned home the next morning, I found that Ethan already emailed me one photo at 2am! He has that natural sense for posing and capture of scenary, our pictures turned out amazing! I was worried because my wedding party didn't look like supermodels, but he and Josh did great work and everyone keeps raving about my pictures. People at the reception were asking for his card over and over. My family liked him because he was so fast with the pictures. He's artistic and quite talented. Ethan is the perfect person you want around on your wedding day. Calm, positive, and at your side. Although he knows what's best, he agreed to take any picture we suggested, just an overall talented, hard working photographer. I highly recommend. He captured my day beautifully!

Ethan is an awesome photographer!!! He has a great balance between professionalism and also being relatable so that everybody felt comfortable in front of the camera, I think that is a part of why he does such great work. Both Ethan and Josh (2nd shooter) are extremely hard working and were with us from the morning until our wedding ended. We got married in December and although we were extremly lucky with 55-60 degree weather, he scouted the area beforehand for good photo opts so that we didn't freeze our butts off for too long.

Ethan has a great eye and the ability to see things is such a dynamic perspective. He was always around but at the same time, took a lot of pictures without us realizing and got so many candid shots. He was able to encapture not only the visuals of our wedding, but also the feeling and environment. The guests that were not able to attend viewed the slideshow that was sent to us a couple days after the wedding and said that they felt like they were felt there.

Ethan played the looping slideshow during our reception of pictures from earlier in the day and all of our friends & family were raving about the photography. We got so many compliments and somebody said "You guys look like Vintagey, Hollywood, Rockstars that looked like you should be part of a wedding magazine for cool people."

Anyhoo, Ethan's work speaks for itself and he definately has my 5 stars of approval. We have only been married for a few weeks now and Ethan has already gotten 2 refferals and possibly another one through our wedding.
