When I went to Etho's I thought it was going to be a great experience, my consultant was very pleasent and helpful but that's where it ended.
After finding a dress I went to get measured and pay for the dress when waiting at the front the lady that ended up measuring me kept writing the measurements down on another girl's sheet after I told her three times that wasn't me. Then my dress had a belt but I was told the belt did not come with it so i had to buy one which I thought was fine. Finally I gave a deposit and left with my sister in law while me laughed about what a gong show it was.
Four months later I stopped in to show my bridesmaids my dress, the lady working pulled up my invoice opened the catalouge and said "oh yes here's your dress" when I looked at the picture it was clearly not a wedding dress but a mother of the bride/groom dress when I said that's not it she informed me that that's what was ordered and we were about 10 weeks from the wedding. I located my dress and she said oh your right that's not the dress ummm ya I just said that. She then reordered it and said my dress was actually $200 less then the one they charged me for so that was good I guess.
They did get the second dress in super fast I think it was about 4-5 weeks. When I went I said I hope it's the right dress and the girl working was kinda snotty and said of course it's the right dress then i asked if there was a belt and she said it was red which I was really confused about because A. I was told it didn't come with a belt and B. why would it be red. When I told her that I was previously told there was no belt and I purchased one all she said was oh well sell it on kijiji, really great customer...

I wasn't too pleased with the service at Ethos, however, I did find my (perfect) dress there!

I bought my flowergirl dress at Ethos. I found they had the best prices on flowergirl dresses as well as having a different selection than many of the other stores did.
However, their prices on Bridesmaid/Mother of the Brides dresses were ridiculous. $700 for a mother of the bride dress? I don't think so. We also saw lots of bridesmaid dresses that were prices much lower at other stores. They only give a discout on ordering more than one dress if you purchased your wedding gown there.

All the ladies helped me find the dress I tried on the day before when I had come in.
And they all were waiting for me while I got changed into it. They all had goosebumps when I came out wearing it. They were all very nice and very very helpful!

We went in to try on bridesmaid dresses. The sales ladies were fully aware that we weren't going to buy anything that day, but they helped out anyway by getting and putting away dresses. One of them went through a catalogue with us, wrote down the style and colour we had liked, and even gave me the number for a possible reception venue.
We didn't end up getting anything there because of prices; not that their prices are unreasonable or anything, we're just all poor students and need to really cheap out. Very nice ladies though, I would highly recommend you check it out.

Ethos provided great service however they ordered a dress that was way too big for me. They did pay for part of the alterations but it was still an unecessary hassle.

Our outfits where a bit pricey for something yet the staff were very very helpful they gave us discounts and helped with things even after the purchase like proper alterations, jewerly ect.
