I swear on the world that The Eturnity Band is one of the most energetic , upscale , conservative , entertaining , exciting , talented and etc band that exist ! I'm Serious no play ! I attended my friends wedding and they had Eturnity play the Reception and I tell u we had the time of our livvvveeeessss the dance floor was full from beginning to finish ! Eturnity did such and amazing job that the crowds begged them to play another song when it was time to go ! I never seen anything like this !!!!And I have to admit this band and the management is very great business people , they are very respectful and they follow instructions very well ! I recommend any one planning any kind of future events to book The Eturnity Band one of the greatest bands around !!!!! They play any and everything ! They are the full package !!!! WE LOVE THE ETURNITY BAND !!!!!! My friends wedding was a night to remember thanks to the amazing Eturnity Band !!!!!!
I LOVE Eturnity! They played at each of my brothers' weddings in 2008 and 2011 respectively, and even without being engaged I knew each time that I just had to book them for my own wedding. Once my husband and I got engaged, we made sure to schedule our wedding around Eturnity's availability.
As our wedding date drew closer, I was actually wondering if we had made the right decision in hiring Eturnity, as my husband and I began to expand our taste of music into house/ EDM genre -- something we weren't sure that a jazz/ blues band would be able to pull off. So when we submitted the "new" songs for Eturnity to play, we crossed our fingers hoping it would sound ok.
Come wedding night, my concerns were completely put to rest. They pulled off our entrance song of "Bingo Players' "Rattle" perfectly. Our first dance was to Musiq's "Greatestlove" - definitely not an easy song to learn but it was just beautiful the way Eturnity did it. They had everyone of all ages rocking out throughout the night, and when it came time to play some of the new top 40 songs we asked them to learn, I was so surprised as to how great it sounded and loved how all of our guests just flocked to them. They even pulled off Carly Rae Japsen's "Call Me Maybe" so well!
To this day, guests at my wedding ask me "how did you find that band?" It was important to us to hire entertainment so talented that we wouldn't have to worry about whether or not people would have a good time. We could not have made a better choice with Eturnity!
This band was the best we have heard. They learned several songs for special dances and performed them so well. The music never stopped. I don't know when they ate, but we couldn't tell from the music. They played soft background music during dinner so that we could have dinner conversation, then the dancing began. The dance floor was packed all night. All ages of guests commented that the band was great.
I had Eturnity play my reception for my wedding. They were incredible! Their musicianship is unmatched, and they had everyone on their feet dancing - guests of all ages and generations. They were very agreeable and eager to accommodate our requests. We had a good mix of Top 40, Motown, 70's, 80's hits, etc. They also provided our cocktail hour music, which was a definite PLUS! They're a bona fide band ready to rock out...a HUGE notch above LI Paramount and Hank Lane.
Why anyone would hire any other band after hearing Eturnity is beyond me. Our entire wedding was planned around Eturnity. They are the best in the business. They were so easy to work with and made our wedding an affair to remember. Delores and Tony are so professional and went above and beyond, learning new songs for us. The band are more than just musicians, they are performers. They are THE BEST!
I am writing a review on this band because a) I am currently planning my wedding but happened to attend a wedding this past weekend where the Eturnity Band played and 2) felt it necessary to provide an outsider's opinion because every bride usually thinks their wedding was the best party ever.
I will say that everything about this wedding was awesome except for the band.
First, the amount of breaks this band took was beyond ridiculous. You woud've though they were guests at the reception. They had a Macbook set up and clicked over to a pre-set playlist every time a menu course was served. Then the ENTIRE band...I think it was 13+ pieces, went to two tables (amongst the guests) sat down, and ate and socialized. My fiance and I were mortified at what we were seeing. Once we got to the intermezzo part of the menu we started timing how long each set was that they played. The longest they ever played straight through was 30 minutes...then the entire band would break....stage completely empty with a computer playing music.
At the end of the night, we tallied that they played for a little over 2.5 hours of the 5 hour reception. Also, they played at the oddest times. They would finish their plates first (because they were served before many of the guests) then start playing Top 40 / hip hop dance music while everyone was eating so the dance floor was obviously empty. Once all the food was served, they did a decent job of keeping the dance floor full...good energy. There was one guy that seemed to lead more than others but in general, their band leader wasn't obvious because they were all either on stage or breaking together and there were 2 guys that seemed to be running things.
As for the music, I would give them a 3/5 for sound. I've seen better from almost every company I looked at - ranging from Faze 4, Hank Lane, SilverPro Productions, Stan Allen. I was a guest so I don't know how much this band cost, but if it were up to me, I would pay them 1/2 of their fee because thats about how much time they spent doing their job at the reception.
The bride and groom are always too busy to notice a lot of these things but I overheard guests talking about it. It was ridiculous.
Please understand- this band can rock out. But at the expense of your sanity. They do not read emails. They do not listen. They didn't play half the songs on our song list. They played whatever they felt like. They didn't learn any of the songs we asked them to (except our first dance). They did not read the email we sent them that included the menu they would be eating at the wedding...We sent it to them THREE TIMES and asked them to review it and let us know if they had any allergies. No response. But when their meal came (cold cuts, wraps, sandwiches, pasta, etc) they REFUSED to go back on until they had a hot meal. So our wedding planner ended up buying them $500 worth of salmon in the middle of our wedding so they would stop their diva fit.
They booked an event in Texas the night before our wedding and didn't tell us (even though we had already gotten them 9 hotel rooms for that night in Virginia) until a few weeks before and when we expressed concern over the fact that if their flight was delayed at all they would miss our wedding, their response was, "we have faith in God." Their only reassurance was to tell us to believe in God. I DO believe in God, but I don't believe God cares to control airline delays.
So to be honest, they are amazing musicians, but as business people they make you want to drive your head through a wall. Especially if you're a stressed out bride. Understand, they will have no idea why you are upset. They will just tell you to have faith, and ignore your concerns.
This band made our wedding. They are so much fun and are so much better than any other wedding band you have heard. No one else can go from Jay-Z to Journey with out a hitch.
The price included a 10 piece band and a trio for the ceremony. I can not say enough good things about Eturnity.
They are the absolute best! They made the whole wedding. Many people booked them after our wedding. I can't say enough great things about them! No one sat down the whole night.
