Like many of the other feedbacks I've read, Event Professionals is a one stop shop. I was about to give up having a unique wedding outdoors because of the prices, but Event Professionals made it possible. They handled everything from rentals, lightings, food, to coordinating. They were really professional and organized. I can go on and on.
Food: My husband and I sampled the food during our tasting and it was amazing. The food was just as tasty on our wedding day. The prime rib was juicy, chicken was tender and flavorful, as well as the fish. We received many compliments from our guests. One of my friends who is a big foodie event yelped about it! That says a lot!

Presentation: It was beautiful and elegant. The chairs, linens, to food presentations were beautifully arranged.
Service: Norine was the day of coordinator. She made sure my husband and I were taken care of. My husband and I met with Donaji and Norine a few times leading up to the wedding. They were very accommodating and a real pleasure to work with. The staff on the wedding day were professional and hard working.
Price: They were really affordable and really work with your budget. They were never pushy and really try to see what works best for you. In retrospect, they actually threw in some freebies for us to make our wedding look even more beautiful. I would highly recommend Event Professionals to anyone who wants to have peace of mind for any event! : )




We wanted a very romantic style for your wedding. Simply stunn on the day of as all the table overlays, chairs covers and the plate settings all coordinated so beatifully. The colors were satin brown w/ gold laces. It was georgous....




We have used them for an big family celebration, and they really did awesome. Everything was almost to perfection and services are excellent.




As the maid of honor for my sister's wedding, I can say that their prices are very affordable, and it's nice that they're a one-stop shop for rentals (tables, chairs, linens, dance floor, etc.), food, lighting, wedding coordinator... I could go on with the things they offer. Donaji and her team are sooo accommodating and flexible. Norine was the day-of coordinator, and she was so on top of things the whole time! The food was pretty good and varied in choices, the chocolate fountain display was beautiful.




Event Professionals is made up of the hardest working group of people. Words aren't enough for my appreciation, but I will try. =) I used them for the majority of my wedding needs (coordinator, silverware, dishes, linens, tables, dance floor, dinner, cake, etc)
*Communication: They are very quick with getting back to you, resolving problems, and speaking with any vendors.
*Service: Top-notch. Norine was my main coordinator for the day of, and she worked her butt off to make sure everything ran smoothly (which it did). She constantly made sure we were fed, happy, and aware of any changes. The months leading up the wedding were filled with encouraging emails, updates, and fulfilled requests.
*Staff: On the day of, I got many compliments from guests on how awesome the bartenders were, how the servers were courteous, and how well everything was organized. The whole staff works hard to make your day amazing.
*Food: The food was delicious (got many compliments), the beverage bar was so beautiful, the chocolate fountain amazing.
I can go on, and on about the quality of Event Professionals. Their prices are affordable, and the service is superb!




i am so impressed by event professionals' work on the day of my wedding and through out the planning process.
donaji offered me the best she can to accomodate my budget, and provided me with all the rentals that set the mood for my wedding. actually she set up more than i paid for (more lounge chairs, tables and chandliers...so beautiful). even with many guest count changes, donaji never lost her calm and worked with me to get the most cost efficient deals.
my guests were extremely pleased with the food and level of service the waiters and the bartender provided. they smiled the whole time and were very friendly and accomodating. not only was their food delicious and plentiful, the presentation was so classy and luxurious.
i am so happy and thankful for their hard work. it truly was a pleasure working with them!!!




I used Event Professionals and I LOVED it. My wedding was filmed by TLC and I wanted to make sure every detail was covered and Denoji had no problem going over every detail with me. The staff was professional, punctual and did a fantastic job. I was so stressed out getting closer to my big day and Denoji and her staff made it so peacefull for me because they took care of EVERYTHING! Truly a blessing and I would definetely use E.P. again and recomend to all my family and friends.




The Event Professionals guided us through the planning steps so that our wedding day was perfect. Their staff handled everything on the day of the wedding. All we had to do was show up!
For the reception, Donaji and her group of professionals did an amazing job of turning a boring room into a gorgeous, ambience-filled dream. It was beyond our expectations! Our guests raved about the food for days.
As well as hiring a wedding planner, I highly recommend that any new bride hire an assistant to help with the day of the wedding. On my wedding day, Meredith from the Event Professionals showed up bright and early and handled all business aspects of that morning so I could concentrate on getting ready. She did everything from dealing with the flower and limo people, to helping style my bridesmaids' hair. She kept us on schedule and got us out the door on time.

Mike photographed the groom's party getting ready, while Maggie stayed with the bridal group. We are very happy with the results!

My husband and I got married June 6, 2008 at the beautiful Los Angeles River Center and Gardens. We hired Event Professionals to take care of catering, party rentals, and coordinating, and we were sooooo glad we did! They did an amazing job and met all ourexpectations. I can honestly say that they exceeded my expectations! It's been 9 months since we got married and our guests continue to comment on how beautiful and unique our wedding was. One Aunt even sent us a "thank you" card for reminding her of how romantic something could be. Most importantly, my husband and I never could have imagined being able to afford such a lavish wedding, but Events Professionals was able to work within our budget and gave us more than what we could have ever dreamed of! We were definitely blessed by Donaji and her team.
Lastly, what we were most happy with was their food! I've attended over 8 different weddings in the last 2 years and for the most part, the wedding food is always simple and mediocre in taste. However, Event Professionals' food was absolutely delicious!!! We enjoyed it so much that for Valentine's Day this year, my husband recreated our wedding dinner and arranged to pick up all our wedding menu items at Event Professionals.

We rented mahogany chiavari chairs through Event Professionals for the reception. In comparing prices, they were the best by far. Donaji was great at responding to email which made working together very effortless.




I was just married on May 25th at a private estate in Malibu, and I hired Event Professionals for our catering and rentals, and I was blown away by what they delivered. Not only was the food DELICIOUS, their entire staff was courteous and professional. Donaji and her assistant Meredith ran the show for me and they did a fantastic job. We had a buffet style dinner and yet these two ladies were offering to go and get food and drinks for my guests! They also prepared a lovely basket of food for my husband and I to take back to the hotel since we barely had time to eat at the wedding!
Their catering packages and rentals were affordable, their service was superb and Donaji and Meredith were two wonderfully warm women who worked so hard to make my wedding day amazing. I would not hesitate to recommend them.




We were married August 9, 2008 and had the great privilege to have Event Professionals Cater our event. They were wonderful! Since I have experience working weddings I know what happens and how complicated things can be. Both Donaji and Meredith were wonderful in making me feel at ease before and during our day. The linens were perfect, I wanted a chocolate and persimmon decor and they had the perfect linen, and most of all had the beautiful Chivari chairs for a good price. They set everything up beautifully, it all looked great. It helped that they spoke spanish because my parents did the flowers and Event Professionals' staff were more than helpful and accommodating when it came to setting up the flowers for the tables.
What I loved the most was that all my guests felt very well taken care of by every single person working our event. The food was amazing! My mother and Godmother are very critical about food, so to hear that they were very happy with the food made everything better. My family always had someone coming around asking if they needed anything, and so did we. We always had our glasses full, which you need on such a day.
I will never forget 2 things.1) while cutting the cake we suddenly had a full moon (a huge balloon) behind us, it was beautiful because it was a surprise and a unique thing that I have never seen at other weddings. 2) As we were getting ready to leave and Meredith asked me if I had tried the wedding cake, which we hadn't. We were about to leave without having tried it and she gave us two plates to take with us to the airport.
They were great with the details and making sure everyone was having a great time.




Event Professionals were an absolute joy to work with. They took care of all the details for my big day and I was able to enjoy the moment with my husband. They helped me prepare for the big day, plan the big day and execute one of the most important days of my life.
I found out the next day how professional and great they were at the wedding. Like every wedding, you can plan and prepare for every detail, but sometimes there are unforeseen variables on a wedding day. I had no idea anything happened. It was well worth every penny for them not to stress out the bride. They went above and beyond the call of Vendor duty. It was a blessing to find Event Professionals. I used Event Professionals for my wedding in 2006 at the LA River Center. About two weeks before my wedding I realized I didn't get linens, tables or chairs for both the ceremony and reception. Since they are so close to the venue I decided to go with them. Everyone there was extremely helpful. To save money I didn't want to get chairs for both the ceremony and reception. Instead I asked if after the ceremony I could have the chairs moved to the reception area while everyone was at the cocktail hour and they were ok with that. I was uneasy to how that would turn out without causing too much attention by my guests. Everything went GREAT! Nobody noticed it and I saved some money! Denoji was awesome and created a truly flawless wxperience. Once I knew TLC was going to be filming my wedding I was even more anxious but thanks to the professionalism of Eevent Professional everything was awesome! I had a two-year engagement and worked hard on planning my perfect day from day 1. I came across Event Professionals as I was doing venue research and they seemed to fit our budget while providing quality service.
Donaji and Carisa were always in touch and very accommodating. They answered all my questions very clearly and worked around my requests. How often do you get to hear "Sure, we can do that!"?
When our big day finally arrived, Carisa and the crew went beyond our expectations! They definitely kept in mind all the notes we provided over the whole planning process to create the perfect, smooth day for us!
Our menu consisted of typical wedding fare, but EVERYONE enjoyed their meals (especially the mixed green salad with candied pecans, feta cheese and raspberry vinaigrette). To be honest I was suprised and therefore sooo happy with our hors d'oeuvres and dinner!
We were never stressed out during our reception and Carisa always touched base with us throughout the night's events. They dealt with our vendors very professionally and provided the best service to our guests. I can't help but want to relive our special day over and over again all because they made it so great!

We actually booked Event Professionals before we even booked anyone else, including our venue. Let me tell you… It was the BEST and WISEST decision we ever made throughout this whole wedding process. Not only did Donaji guide us EVERY SINGLE step of the way throughout the process, but she led us to the best vendors in town. Donaji and her team are super duper organized and they pay attention to every little detail. And I mean every single little detail. They don’t miss anything just to ensure that your day is as perfect as you can ever imagine. They are also so prompt in responding to emails and ensure that they answer every single question or worry you have on all wedding matters. It was also so great that they were a one stop shop from catering to rentals to event planning. You just can’t go wrong with them! Donaji and her crew made our event MORE AWESOME than I ever imagined it would be. They don't just do what you tell them to do, they have so many ideas and go out of their way to make the event as special as it can be. The food is to die for: it was pretty good at the tasting--but at the wedding it was amazing!!! We had SOOOO many compliments on our food. Also, we had originally planned for salad starters, but just a week before the wedding the weather turned cold and Donaji called me up to suggest that we do a SOUP BAR instead of the salads at no additional cost! This was a HUGE hit because it really was freezing that day and the ceremony was outside...so when our guests came in from the cold and had their bowls of butternut or asparagus soup--they felt so good. Not to mention, the soups were pureed and delicious and came with a lovely assortment of bread! I could go on and on but in essence, these people are a GREAT Value for the money and our wedding was SPECTACULAR because of their expertise and attention to details. Also, as the bride, I did not have to lift a finger and after 9 months of planning, it was awesome to be able to just enjoy the event and not have to worry about a thing!

We just had our wedding a couple weeks ago and EVERYTHING went smoothly. We have Event Professionals to thank for that! EP was professional from the start. Donaji was our contact person from the beginning and she walked us through every step of the way. Because we were very cost conscious and had specific requests for our special day (our venue was almost completely DIY), we contacted several caterers and vendors. We ultimately decided on EP because they had A) superb customer service, B) delicious food and C) the best value Superb Customer Service: EP was flexible with anything we threw at them. My husband works in the Bay Area M-F, so it was difficult to meet outside of the weekends. However, EP was willing to meet after hours to ensure that we were on track with the planning and that all the i's were dotted and t's were crossed. They even contacted each of our vendors the week prior to the wedding to ensure they were all aware of timing and schedule. EP had superb attention to detail and an ability to adapt to any changes we threw at them (guest list constantly changed and they were willing to make changes necessary up until a few days before the wedding).On the day of the wedding, things could not have gone more smoothly. This was, in no small part, thanks to Event Professionals. Of course, it helped that the weather was somehow 80 degrees in November (luck smiled on us that day!). If there were any glitches during the wedding, we didn't notice them. EP also was there to give us a few minutes to relax and even set aside time for us to enjoy the wedding food.Delicious food: We also had several tastings with different caterers and we were WOWed by the food. Our menu ended up being:Salad w/ Raspberry Vinegarette/Seaweed Salad, Salmon Teriyaki/Tri-Tip w/ Horseradish, and Risotto/Roasted Potatoes/Rice. It was delicious and we had many, many guests tell us it was some of the best wedding food they had tasted and some went and got seconds (we had buffet style serving). They especially raved about the salmon and the risotto. We were more than satisfied with the food.Best value: We began negotiations with different caterers, but early in the conversations it became apparent that EP had the most reasonable prices for the level of service we required (of course we couldn't let them know this until we were able to finalize all pricing!). They were able to work with us to recommend ways to cut costs while staying true to the theme of the wedding. They also recommended several vendors and, while we didn't use all of them, the ones we did use were great as well.I know this review may sound too good to be true, but we felt our wedding was EXACTLY what we imagined and was perfect for us, so we felt EP deserves a great review.If you are having a wedding/event, I would recommend at least speaking to Event Professionals. Event Professionals really made our wedding day magical. Event Professionals is a bride and groom-to be one-stop wedding paradise. We hired them for our catering, rentals and wedding coordinating and they truly went above and beyond our already high expectations.
We came to Event Professionals disillusioned about having to plan a wedding in this bad economy. However after meeting with a very professional and organized wedding coordinator, we walked out of our first meeting with hope and looking forward to beginning the planning process. Event Professionals helped us create an itinerary, put together a delicious menu, decorated our venue, organized all necessary rentrals, provided us with referrals to the BEST photographer and DJ and answered every single question along the way in a very timely manner. In short, all the planning led to the most wonderful day for us.
Many that attended our wedding commented on how beautifully enchanting our venue looked (because of the superb decoratign job by Event Professionals). People complimented the delicious food - also catered by Event Professionals. And lastly, people complimented how seamless and organized our wedding seemd and that was all thanks to the pre-planning with Event Professionals.

Event Professionals catered my 8/14/10 wedding and I am so glad they did! Donaji and Noorean were professional, easy to work with, very responsive and just really nice people. We went with Event Professionals because of all the raving reviews here on project wedding, the competitive price and the comprehensive nature of their services (we got married at a private residence, so the more comprehensive the better). One additoinal bonus to having a comprehensive vendor like Event Professionals is the ease in adding on last minute unexpected items. For example, we had anticipated our wedding day being really hot, but during our day-before rehearsal we found it to be quite windy and chilly instead. It was easy for our coordinator to add 4 heat lamps on the fly. On our wedding day, Event Professionals had everything set up on time, the food was excellent, their rental items (chivari chairs/linens/plateware/silverware etc.) were a step above and the server staff was super friendly. And the weather ended up being gorgeous so we didn't really need the heat lamps after all, but it certainly was nice having them there just in case. We had our own wedding planner who had never worked with Event Professionals before and they worked together fabulously. Donaji and Noorean really aim to please and we had the "more fun than fancy" wedding of our dreams.

Donaji and Audi helped my husband and me with our wedding, and we had the most amazing time! Background: We just got married at the beginning of May. The venue we chose was a large loft that was normally used for photo shoots, so we basically had to provide everything from the food to the rentals to the lighting. We were planning on having around 175 guests for an evening wedding. Service: We met with Donaji about 4 times over the course of 7 months along with countless emails and phone calls. We would meet for at least a couple hours each time, and she was very accommodating and patient. When I asked her if we could extend the reception for half an hour and provide all the services necessary for that, she didn't even hesitate. No extra charge. She just said, "Sure". Every time I called her, she answered, regardless of when it was. Even when she was on vacation! I was really happy with how reachable she was. On the day of our wedding, Audi took care of my husband and me. We cannot say enough good things about him. He anticipated what we needed before we could even think about them. We didn't even realize food had been served until we turned around and Audi had huge plates of everything on the menu for us. Even my friends and family commented on the great care Audi gave us. We had nothing to worry about on the day of because everything else was taken care of for us. Catering: I received at least 10 quotes from caterers that were just out of our budget. We finally got a quote that fit the bill, and we went to a tasting. We weren't that happy with the food, so we continued the search. I found Event Professionals on line, and it looked too good to be true. They were very affordable and also were able to provide the rentals of all of our tables, linens, glassware and utensils. We scheduled an appointment but had to reschedule on the day of due to an emergency. Donaji was totally flexible and was able to move our appointment to later that day. We met for at least an hour to discuss what we wanted our day to be like - just a big party, no formal seating but a lot of lounge furniture and small bites but enough to make everyone full. We went to a tasting a couple weeks later and were sold. The food was delicious! I was skeptical that the food could actually be that good on the day of after having to mass produce it, but everyone I talked to after our wedding raved about the food! Here's just a few things we had: - roasted chicken with mango salsa (a crowd favorite) - tri tip - ginger glazed salmon - seaweed salad - tuna tartare (amazing hors d' oeuvre - my favorite!) - quesadillas with mushrooms and cheese (hors d' oeuvre - even my carnivorous husband loved it) So many more, and I had a few people tell me it was the best food they had at a wedding, and no, it was not the only wedding they've been to :) Rentals: Included in their price were the rentals of all of the tables, seating and lounge furniture. Everything. We didn't have a formal sit down meal but had around 20 tables, some high, some low and around 130 chairs. They also provided around 8 pieces of modern looking lounge furniture. It was great. Lighting: Event Professionals outsources their lighting to Ambiance Lighting. We met with Danny Villa, and they did an amazing job. Since the venue was basically a blank canvas, they were able to make the place look like a cool night club by the end of the night. It was exactly what we were looking for. We're really happy we went with Event Professionals. We didn't really think our wedding day could actually live up to our expectations after all the planning we went through, but it exceeded anything we could have imagined.

We met for at least an hour to discuss what we wanted our day to be like - just a big party, no formal seating but a lot of lounge furniture and small bites but enough to make everyone full. We went to a tasting a couple weeks later and were sold. The food was delicious! I was skeptical that the food could actually be that good on the day of after having to mass produce it, but everyone I talked to after our wedding raved about the food! Here's just a few things we had:
- roasted chicken with mango salsa (a crowd favorite)
- tri tip
- ginger glazed salmon
- seaweed salad
- tuna tartare (amazing hors d' oeuvre - my favorite!)
- quesadillas with mushrooms and cheese (hors d' oeuvre - even my carnivorous husband loved it)
So many more, and I had a few people tell me it was the best food they had at a wedding, and no, it was not the only wedding they've been to :)
Rentals:
Included in their price were the rentals of all of the tables, seating and lounge furniture. Everything. We didn't have a formal sit down meal but had around 20 tables, some high, some low and around 130 chairs. They also provided around 8 pieces of modern looking lounge furniture. It was great.
Lighting:
Event Professionals outsources their lighting to Ambiance Lighting. We met with Danny Villa, and they did an amazing job. Since the venue was basically a blank canvas, they were able to make the place look like a cool night club by the end of the night. It was exactly what we were looking for.
We're really happy we went with Event Professionals. We didn't really think our wedding day could actually live up to our expectations after all the planning we went through, but it exceeded anything we could have imagined.

Let me start by immediately saying that you'd do yourselves a great disservice by NOT going with Donaji and the Event Professionals crew. They were so helpful every step of the way, and the day-of execution was magical. In addition to making some lovely recommendations and putting up with our procrastinating ways and accommodating our unconventional and quirky requests (e.g. they made everything available to us but we insisted on making our own namecards, place settings, numbers, bar; they transported everything for us FYI) Donaji and Letty were there to prompt us, guide us, and back us up throughout the process. On the day of, Donaji and Letty ensured that all our vendors were where they needed to be, and they stayed on top of the schedule. As for the food (the most important element besides the music in my opinion), the quantities were bountiful, the portions incredible, and the flavors fantastic! The service too was spectacular. Not only did my hubby and I get to eat but they made sure that our glasses were never empty and that everything was as expected (it never was- their services far exceeded our expectations). I know they might seem too good to be true based on my praise and their prices, but the end result truly was beautiful. As a matter of fact, while dancing whith an engaged friend of mine I asked him if he and his fiancee had started the planning process. He said, "To be honest we'd put it off because it was getting to be overwhelming, but after seeing what you guys have done we're truly inspired." Marcela had made our wedding day spectacular. She called immediately if there needed to be a decision made large or small. She was on top of all the details. We spent hours getting our schedule down for the day which made the actual day so easy. Our catering requests were more complicated than most and they pulled through by providing some of their delicious dishes as well as coordinating with other vendors' food. The day of the wedding, rain was in the forecast, of course. It rained in the morning but they were able to set up in the early afternoon. EP knew how much we wanted to have the wedding outdoors and accommodated our requests down to the T. They also worked quickly getting the schedule going just in case it rained later in the evening. I am not embarrased to say that I prayed for God to help us and I beleive the answer to that prayer was Event Professinals. We met at their warehouse and were really impressed, but the staff was the most impressive aspect of the company. I was married on May 25th at a private estate in Malibu, and I hired Event Professionals for our catering and rentals, and I was blown away by what they delivered. Amazing!...is what I can share of our experience with Event Professionals. I chose them as they were rated among the top 3 catering companies on Yelp and were one of the only caterers who took the time to reflect our choices for the wedding (family style dinner, home made churros) within our budget. The staff was professional and the coordination they did on our wedding day made it all worth while. The guests loved the food and said it was one of the few weddings they'd attended where they felt full. Donaji and Carisa are experts and their guidance led us to have the wedding we wanted where the guests were happy and dancing and we were worry free.
Several other caterers said they could offer churros or other elements we wanted and then turned around and tried to steer us away from the exact items we discussed. Donaji and team were clear from the begining what they could and could not offer, thus we had a great, straightforward business relationship from the start.

Event Professionals is a small business managed by several woman in a small office in LA, but despite the less professional atmosphere, they provided everything a bride needs for her wedding. Not only did they take care of food, but rentals, photos, flowers, and so on. They even provided contacts for a local DJ, hair dresser, and cake services. My mother and I arranged the entire 80+ person wedding in just a few months with only a few in person meetings, which is great for busy people who don't have a lot of time running around all of LA interviewing businesses and making decisions.

I got married on 9/9/2007 at Adamson House and stumbled across Event Professionals on this website actually. Adamson House is notorious for having very strict guidelines for their weddings, so I was pleased that EP had worked there before, but still a little skeptical since the last time they worked there was several years ago. I also liked that they were reasonably priced AND did their own rentals (less hassle for me to deal with another vendor then!).
All of my meetings with Donaji (the owner, but also our coordinator for the day) went pretty smoothly. She listened to my ideas and budget and really worked with us.
The day of went pretty well! We had a bit of a mishaps with the seating arrangements, but that was my fault becuase I tried to make a last minute change. Donaji and her assistant were fabulous though, and constantly checked in to make sure that I had anything I needed. We had a small problem with the heaters - we had agreed to having 10 heaters but only 8 arrived, and when I looked around later, I noticed that only 6 were in place! I asked about this, and Donaji explained that not all of them worked and would just comp me the heater rentals. I'm happy that she comped me, but I would have preferred the heaters. oh well!
For the food, we actually gambled on what we ordered becuase we didn't try most of the items during our initial tasting. We liked the tasting enough that we trusted them that what we ordered would be good. And boy was it! I thought our appetizers were fabulous! I loved that the cocktail shrimp were big and plump. Dinner was good and then the mini-dessert station was lovely. Some of the desserts were not so good, but some got rave reviews. I would have preferred that they set up the dessert table a little bit nicer too but to be fair, I didn't give any directions/instructions on that (since I also had a candy buffet).
Anyway, my bottom line is that I thought they did a wonderful job and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Everything was great! It was nice to find a place that could offer everything all from one place. We even booked our DJ through them at the tasting! The people were nice and willing to help with any budget. My only complaint was the coordinator the day of... she seemed more stressed out than I was! One thing went wrong: the right song wasn't played when the bridal party walked down the aisle. Instead, it was the same song the family of the bride and groom walked down to... which was no big deal!But she was defensive about it before I even accused her of anything (knowing that she typed up the ceremony song list as we dictated). "If you want to see the paper, it said to use that song! I can show you!" were her words to my husband and I as we were about to walk down the staircase to be introduced as husband and wife to the guests. We could care less who made the mistake, we were married!We were told, though, that she wasn't usually the coordinator. Maybe the normal one is better? I had a buffet just because I wanted several different options for my guests to choose from. The appetizers were great and were set up perfectly. Best food I ever had at a wedding and the catering crew was so nice. Two things we did not like were that the planner kept referring to my husband for financial aspect and to me for the wedding details. Also, the day of the wedding the beautiful aisle runner was taped down with grey masking tape on top of the aisle runner. Not something that is appreciated as beautiful in the wedding pictures. Donaji and Norine were both pleasant to work with. They responded quickly to emails and met with us late (after work hours). Def seem like a hardworking bunch! They are a one-stop shop and have pretty much everything you need for your wedding. Food wise though, they are not what we are looking for, so we decided to not go with this vendor.




I used Event Professionals for my wedding on 9/20/08. It took me a whole year before I could write a review because the food at my wedding was so bad that I think I had to get over it before I could calmly write a review. I have ONE major gripe with this company:
For the food at our wedding, we ordered chicken marsala with risotto and steak with potatoes. At the tasting, both were great. However, on the night of my wedding, my husband and I sat at the sweetheart's table and had a little of each. The chicken was ok, not as good as at the tasting, but that's to be expected, but the steak was SO HARD THAT I COULD NOT CUT THROUGH IT!! My husband even went up to Donaji (the owner) and Meredith (the coordinator) told them that this was the worst steak that he'd ever had in his life! Their response? Well, would you like another piece? Listen, if it's that disgusting, no one wants to try another piece. When we took a look around while we were toasting other tables, we saw that NO ONE had eaten the steak. When I asked my close cousins about it (because they would be truthful) they said that they wished they brought plastic bags so they could take it home for their dogs, because it was too tough for people to eat! Even now, a year after our wedding, whenever we get together with our family members and friends, people will mention how NASTY the steak was at our wedding. We spent $20,000 on Events Professionals. We didn't expect the food to be 5 star or the best we had ever eaten, but at the very least, we expected it to be edible and soft enough to cut with a knife.
Other than this gripe, I thought Event Professionals was ok. They were fairly easy to work with (although at my first meeting with Donaji, she was 30 min late - but she has a son that she has to take to school in the morning, and I understand, sh*t and traffic happens), their coordinator Meredith was friendly and detail oriented, and they did provide random services like lighting so we didn't have to go to another company.
I feel a little bad for giving them only 2 stars because overall, they were very nice and pretty accomodating and our wedding was very well timed thanks to them. Also, the apps were fine, the dessert station was good, and our cake was beautiful (but that was from Porto's). However, I just cannot overlook the fact that the food was so bad that a year later, my guests still remember it - in a negative way. All in all, I just CANNOT recommend this company for food, but if you are going to use them for purely events services it would be ok....




I was just married on May 12, 2007, and I regrettably used Event Professionals for their coordinator and rental services. On the day of my wedding, several of the chivari chairs that were part of my package had fresh paint and actually stained my guests' clothing. I was horrified, and to make things worse, Donaji Munoz, the owner of E.P. was nowhere to be found throughout the night. Not only were my guest's formal attire ruined, I also did not have a coordinator to continue the events that were scheduled, resulting in confusion and a program that was only half completed. After arguing with Donaji for the following two days, I received almost half of what I paid, even though this would never cover the damage that had been done or the humiliation and anxiety that me and my family went through.
Vendor response to review
In regards to this matter, the client paid $10,363 for 250 guests ($35 pp) which included all party rentals; table set-up with; chairs, linens, silverware, glassware, servers, kitchen crew, reception coordinator, bar service glassware & bartender (byo), hors d’oeuvres, beverage station, lounge furniture and also received an upgrade to use Chiavari chairs, color linens and napkins and choice of chargers. We had a small portion of chairs that were painted over 1 week prior to the event. The paint was applied too thick which did not allow some parts of the chairs to completely dry and we were not aware of this until the event day and take full responsibility. As soon we realized this, we immediately put chair covers on the chairs so we could continue with the event. The bride was assigned a coordinator which stayed all night, but the bride refused to use her assistance because she was upset understandably. We regret that this incident happened, and promised the bride that evening that she would receive a refund. The next day we spoke and I asked what she felt would be fair and she said she wanted all her money back, $10,363. We never argued, but I explained to her that this was unreasonable. Even though we realized that this was not minor and did not want to minimize her anguish, we felt it was unreasonable and I made her an offer of $3,000. She would not compromise and I ended up offering $5,000 and she agreed. I paid this to her the next day before she left to her honeymoon.

We will be at sea all day today and decided to check our email and we are glad we did so that we may provide you with a few words on how satisfied we were/are with the services you provided and the professionalism of your team.
First off, let me tell you that we did not hear anything but good compliments from both our guests and vendors as to how beautiful everything turned out and how delicious the food was. Since the beginning you maid Felipe, my now husband :), and I very comfortable with the services you provided as well as your experience in dealing with our budgetary needs and understanding of our culture and vision for our big day. Before we came to you we had both done a lot of research as to what was more financially reasonable and would allow us to also sit back and enjoy the actual day but nothing seemed to make sense until we talked to you. At our first meeting Felipe and I looked at each other as we heard you speak about what you had to offer and what you can do to give us that peace of mind that we were looking for and we knew that you were the perfect choice!
As the planning time went on it was great knowing that I could meet with you to go over the vision and hear your advice on vendors and the rhythm of how the event should go… without a doubt it was very helpful. Everything from working with me to use materials that I already had to going out of your way to fit my color schema and make my vision a reality is something that I will forever be thankful for. To tell the truth, once we hired you the stress of the wedding pretty much went away since you were taking care of most of the activities for the event I became a stress free bride allowing me to focus on my other tasks… like finding a dress and getting ready for my honeymoon…. seriously, no one believed how stress free I was about the whole thing… it was awesome!
As for the actual day, what can I say more than it was more that I ever dreamed off…. It was beautiful, delicious, and exciting all at the same time. Both you and Elsa (and the whole staff) made Felipe and I feel great… from feeding us (I believe you actually fed me while I tried to manage my dress…now that is excellent service!) to ensuring we enjoyed the whole event and always maintained hydrated and worry free. A lot of our guests flew from far to come to our wedding so it was also important for them to feel like this trip was worth it… and it was. The music never stopped and everyone ate until their hearts was content. Also, we really, really, really, really, really, appreciate your staff going out of their way to help us obtain the wine that for many circumstances we were unable to purchase prior to the wedding…. What more can we ask for. As we left to our honeymoon Felipe and I again had no worries of what we left behind and that everything was going to be in order. To me that is peace of mind that you can’t put a price on and you can’t find just anywhere.

Vu and I both feel we had the absolutely most perfect wedding. Our family and friends all tell us they had an awesome time. It's hard to doubt them when you see our wedding pictures. Guests complimented us on everything from the uniqueness of the ceremony and the gorgeous decorations, to the yummy and variety of food. I remember tears rolling down faces during the ceremony, exciting gasps at the dessert trays, children laughing and clapping for our first dance, and much much more. It amazes me still that your team pulled it all together.

And the food -- I still have the list if you want to see it again but you probably haven't forgotten how long and complicated we wanted things. I was impressed that your team pulled it off.
I also haven't forgotten all the little things you did, like when you personally brought a glass of strawberry juice to me and my Mom before she escorted me down the aisle, or how you had a plate of food from the food stations prepared for when Vu and I sat down. I'm back tracking a bit here, but you have no idea how appreciative I was when you called me to make sure that I was okay with Vu changing the linen color a week before the wedding. It was completely unnecessary for you to do that but it went to show you really cared about what your bride wanted.
From the bottom of my heart, I thank you, your husband, Liz, and every member of your team for all the care that you put into my wedding. I hope that you continuing to pour your hearts into your work. I absolutely loved my wedding, and would be more glad to be a reference for you.

We got lots of compliments on the food and Don kept saying how delicious it was.
Your staff was on top of it and kept things moving along. Meredith was just great. She helped out a lot at the house and even did a run back to the house from the chapel to get my sister's special pillows for her back. She was sweet as can be and like one of the girls.
Thanks for recommending Michael & Maggie for photos. They were fantastic! I can't wait to see the pictures -- they must have taken thousands of them.
Marcel was also great at keeping things moving and played all of the songs we requested.
