Shawn and Event Team Entertainment were fantastic at my wedding on 10/8/2011. I got married outdoors at a vineyard, had a separate harpist for the ceremony music and then had the reception inside at the vineyard. Shawn and his team had everything mic'd - me (the groom) the officiant and the harpist. The sound was perfect and everyone could hear throughout the ceremony - even the people in the back row. After the ceremony and through the reception Shawn kept things moving and on track, coordinated with other vendors at the wedding, was accommodating and flexible, and basically I just can't say enough. He was a pleasure to work with and I would not hesitate in recommending him. I think we when shopped around for DJ services he was a little higher then others - but you get what you pay for and he is definitely 1st class in his field!

I chose Event Team because, after a high price quote, my DJ Neil worked with me to find a quote that was within my budget and met my needs. He was great to work with, offering advice on how to lay out our reception so everything runs smoothly from one event to the next, and did a great job at the wedding itself.

Shawn is worth every penny! We have been to many weddings in the past few years and have never experienced a DJ like Shawn. To call Shawn just a “DJ” is almost unfair. He was an event planner, a day of coordinator, and an entertainer, just to name a few. The special touches he adds to every wedding is worth the money you will spend. We will never forget the end of the night when Shawn and his team gathered all of our family and friends to circle the dance floor for our last dance. In between the lyrics of the song “At Last” Shawn had dubbed our wedding vows from hours early. When planning my wedding I was a little apprehensive about spending a "ton" of money when it came to the DJ lets just say THANK GOODNESS we did! Jesse with events team ent was outstanding. Looking back now I spent a ton of money on my flowers they looked great but the value I paid to have jesse was well worth it! He did everything from run our rehearsal, the wedding, giving us water when seemly we couldn't find time I felt like he went above and beyond to meet with us and get to know us we were even able to take him to lunch to get to know him better! He took the time to get to know my husband and I and was so easy to work withHe always was timely and efficient the day of the wedding he looked professional, acted professional, and again went above and beyond we truly felt like he was a friend who did our DJing. He helped us make everything personable and unique! HIRE THEM you will not regret it!!

Jesse Bearden, from Event Team Entertainment, was just brilliant. From the first phone call to the last song on our wedding night, Jesse was such a dream to work with. He's professional, sincere, very caring and attentive to his clients' wishes. He covered all of the best songs from our playlist and even incorporated songs that came to mind during some of the toasts that fit so perfectly, ie. Star Wars theme song (my husband's name is Luke)! He exceeded our expectations and really made our wedding night a magical, unforgettable event! (I wouldn't change one thing given the chance to do the night all over again!!)

We had Jesse as our DJ and he was more than we could have asked . My husband and I connected with Jesse right away. At our wedding I had two separate guests ask if he was a family member because how well he was with our children and family. I would recommend him to everyone I know!! He reads people and really captures how you want your special day and nails it. Jesse brought our ideas to life and created everlasting memories for us forever. He does what he loves and it shows. Event Team Entertainment came highly recommended to us. We went with Shawn and couldn't have been happier with his personality and services. Everything was PERFECT with the music, entertainment, etc. at our wedding. I still have friends and family tell me how impressed they were with our DJ and how much fun they had dancing at our wedding (and we were married 3 months ago)!! Even though it's one of the more spendy DJ services around, I wouldn't have traded the experience for anything in the world.

Our best money spent was on Shawn. He was professional, fun and perfectly executed the flow of our ceremony and reception. The order, pace and events were perfect. Guests commented that he was the best DJ and Master of Ceremonies of any wedding or event they'd ever been to. The music was awesome and the dance floor was packed. Shawn is extremely classy and a true expert of his field. Our wedding was virtually flawless, and many thanks go to Shawn for making that happen.

Neil Kirkpatrick was the Master of Ceremonies and Disc Jockey for our wedding on 07/23/11 at the Mt. Hood Winery. We met with Neil three times, including a trip to the venue, prior to the wedding and he was professional and prepared for each meeting. He had great ideas and was extremely responsive to what we were wanting. He was additionally responsive to our emails and texts when finishing up the details! On the day of, he was early, professional in setting up, professionally dressed, and prepared for every little thing that needed to be done (planned or not planned). He went with the flow, but was amazing with keeping us on our vision, timeline, and having a great party. Comments from our guests included a wide age range of guests in their mid twenties to mid nineties and everyone stated that they wishes they would have had Neil at their wedding, how cordail Neil is, and how professional, prepared, and organized Neil is. He was definitely worth it!

My wife and I got married on the 16th of July 2011. Assuming that the weather was going to be perfect we planned an outdoor wedding. We met with Neil a few weeks before the wedding and instantly realized that we had made the correct choice. Neil explained EVERYTHING and gave us tons of suggestions and examples of music, schedules and other entertainment ideas. Leading up to the wedding, Neil kept in constant contact and designed our perfect day as per our wishes.Unfortunately, Neil was a lot more reliable than Oregon weather and at the last minute we had to make some last minute changes to accommodate for the rain. No problem for Event Team Entertainment.The big day came along and it turned out that the Oregon rain was not our only unexpected wedding guest. However, despite fire engines sirens during the ceremony and a two hour electrical fault during the reception our big day was amazing! My new wife and I had the best day of our lives and a big part of that was due to Neil Kirkpatrick.Although he couldn't do much about the sirens during the ceremony (which actually added a little comedy and helped keep the tears away), Neil and his assistant kept their cool all night. They changed our mute and light-less reception into dinner and cake cutting by candle light and our first dance to a car radio. Once the electric came back on the party continued and our DJs even stayed an extra couple of hours to allow our guests to continue partying the night away.Thank you Neil and Event Team Entertainment for turning our wedding with imperfections into the perfect wedding.

We chose Jesse as our DJ because of the great job he did at a family member's wedding. We knew he was great before we booked him, but he still exceeded our expectations. He helped us from the beginning of rehearsal to the last moment of the reception. I can't say enough great things about Jesse. If you want to have an awesome party an dance the night away at your wedding... book Jesse he is awesome! Our guests had only great comments and no one wanted the night to end!

Shawn made sure everything at our wedding went smoothly! He worked so well with our vendors, coordinated with them, and helped make sure that the party went smoothly and we didn't have to worry about a thing! He made our wedding personal and really worked with us to be sure it was everything we wanted and MORE! You don't realize how crucial it is that your DJ have a great personality and the ability to speak in front of crowds until it is happening on your wedding day. He was AMAZING! Jesse was so accommodating to our needs. We were not even in the country until three weeks before the wedding and he met with us and was able to provide everything we asked for, including songs from the UK. He kept us up to speed what time it was and what we were expected to do next which was so incredible helpful. He had everyone out dancing all night and our guests really enjoyed themselves. After the wedding, the catering staff asked for his business card to pass onto other couples who book our venue for weddings because they said they had 'never seen so many people out on the dance floor'. Jesse was a joy to work with and helped make our day run smoothly. We could not have asked for a better DJ.

Shawn & his staff at Event Team NW made our wedding! It was amazing the quality of service he provided for us. He met with us numerous times to really get to know my husband and I, get our voice overs, pictures, and really pick out music that was us. My event couldn't have gone more smoothly, months after I am still hearing guests say how much fun they had at our reception. My grandparents, mother, even uncle were out on the dance floor having a great time, I couldn't believe my eyes! Mark was easy to work with, prompt in returning my emails and phone calls, and was willing to work with me long distance (I live in Eastern Oregon). During the event he kept things on schedule without being pushy, he is so laid back that everything was a breeze and went perfectly according to plan!

Shawn sat with us for hours as we tried to pick the songs for our ceremony. He was patient as I looked up all the lyrics and helped us find ceremony music that really meant something to us and our relationship! In lieu of a program, we recorded messages with Shawn about each member of our wedding party, which was played as they entered the reception. The guests are still talking about it! The lighting they provided was incredible- they changed it many times through out the night! I could go on and on as to how Event Team Entertainment helped make our wedding unforgettable! Jesse at Event Team Entertainment was a pleasure to work with--from the beginning of our planning process until the actual ceremony/reception in Oct. 2010. Jesse was extremely professional, responsive and very very nice. He worked with an assistant for the actual event and they did a great job with the music we requested. Shawn Whittemore was an absolute professional and very educated in the DJ service. He traveled numerous times to meet us halfway in Salem to make things convenient, and he was always communicating with us throughout our planning process. Event Team Entertainment is awesome! We actually attended a friend's wedding that hired another one of their DJs 2 months before our own wedding and so we got to experience 2 of the 3 DJs. I highly recommend these guys! They made sure things were coordinated and they were the middleman to the other vendors whenever I had any questions or concerns on the day of. Where they really shined was when it came time for the open dances, they know how to judge their audience and really got the party going strong! I never expected the reactions and vibe of the entire party but it was simply amazing. We would highly highly recommend booking Event Team Entertainment as a DJ!

Our ceremony was on a beach - the ceremony portion was perfect (microphones, fading of music, etc.). However, the reception portion had some room for imporvement. Some guests indicated that they requested certain songs be played and they were not. Another guest felt that the Dj was rude to her (my mother in law!). Additionally, the DJ mis-pronounced my name (not good to mispronounce the bride's name!!). Fortunately, my best friend went up and corrected him immediately. Also, some of the names in the wedding party were mis pronounced.

Jesse went ABOVE and BEYOND his job description. We could not have asked for a better DJ/MC/AMAZING PERSON. We had told Jesse about our nightmare of a 'wedding planner' that we had hired, and he literally took care of multiple things that he DID NOT have to do for us. Not only did my husband and I have the best night of our lives, our guests LOVED him! Multiple guests came up to us to tell us how much they loved him. Not only that but I have passed on his info to a few of our guests because they want to book him for upcoming events. He is professional, friendly, and amazing at what he does. THANK YOU!!

Do yourself a favor and check EventTeam out. We felt a great DJ was one of the most important items for our wedding and found exactly what we were looking for. Couldn't have asked for anything better.

I am in the entertainment industry and so when my daughter decided to get married I wanted to be sure that the most important part of the reception (the dj/mc) was handled by a professional - We interviewed over 10 (so called) DJ's until we met with Shawn - we had a budget and he was a bit over our budget but when we stopped and thought about the difference in price - it was the best bargin out there - he not only kept the wedding flowing (we have been to several since) and they seem boring - lifeless - uneventful - he entertained our guests - make things flow (way better than an event planner) and down to the small details of how the bride and groom entered was planned and exectuted flawlessly. He has a great imagination - a wonderful warm personality - he cares about who he is working for and I will be hiring him 3 more times for my 3 other children when the time comes. We have been told by ALMOST ALL 350 guests that we set the bar high - that it was a wedding they will remember the rest of their lives - and it is due to Event Team Entertianment and Shawn - Don't just hire a DJ - hire the person that will make it a night to remember -no kidding - it makes all the difference in the world :) Our gratitude will be forever for the night our oldest daughter said in all her dreams it couldn't have been that good - My advice to others with children getting married - cut corners on things like flowers - dresses - etc - this is well worth hiring the best in Oregon!

We really enjoyed working with Shawn. He did a great job taking our taste/requests into account. You could tell that he really listens to his clients. He also serves as your wedding coordinator. He was there to direct our rehearsal the day before our wedding and did a great job taking charge and making sure that we all knew our roles and felt comfortable for the big day. He really reduced the stress of the wedding by being so confident and experienced. He is a bit expensive, but once you consider all his services you see that he is worth the money. Also, my music cut out a bit on my walk down the aisle, but it was not a big deal when you think of the big picture. Everyone commented on what a fun wedding it was, and I know that this was because of Shawn's pacing and activities/announcements he had during the reception. Shawn was excellent, and we would recommend him to a friend!

Jesse from event team entertainment, Was an amazing person to work with. He always answerd all my questions and concerns and was so much fun to work with. He was very excited about being our dj for our wedding. He played all my song requests and made everything flow smoothly. He coordinated the rehersal and everything the wedding day! He did way more than just played music, he was fully involved in everything and very personable and friendly to all my guests. He made the whole night fun! Our Wedding date was April 24, 2010. Marc was an incredible asset to our wedding. We were living in Germany while planning our wedding and Marc was extremely helpful and timely with communication via email, phone, and video chat. We had seen Shawn in action at several friend's weddings prior to planning our own...so we knew how great it was going to be working with him. From the beginning stages of planning, we knew we were in good hands with Shawn and that he was going to make our wedding run as smoothly as possible. He was so organized with our time line and schedule for the ceremony and reception. Shawn did an AMAZING job reading our guests and incorporating music that we had requested. We received so many compliments about what a great job he was doing the night of our wedding, and we are still hearing fabulous remarks weeks after. My search for a dj was a lengthy one..that is..until I met Jesse with Event Team. To me finding the perfect DJ was such a big deal because I know that they really do make or break a party. I've been to weddings that should've been great, but instead dragged..all because of the dj! I met with Jesse and was sure he would be great because his personality was very warm and fun, but he was also very professional and knew how important this day was for me. He met with a few times before the wedding to fine tune details and help me make selections...when I really couldn't make any more decisions, he stepped in and helped me.The wedding day itself was an absolute success. Shawn was the consummate professional right from the get-go. Everything from personal appearance to attitude, great ideas and creativity, timeliness, adaptability, you name it. Because of Shawn we had a ceremony and reception that neither we nor our guests will soon forget. I couln't have imagined a more perfect evening filled with fun, sentiment and guest involvement.

Shawn did a great job "running" the wedding. Everything stayed on track and guests were really impressed by his ability to coordinate. He also made our wedding really personalized with our slideshows, meeting with us to discuss how we wanted the ceremony to go, cutting messages we had spoken and putting them into songs. We have seen Shawn in action prior to our wedding date. Shawn still does not cease to amaze with his level of professionalism. We did not have a coordinator at our wedding and Shawn was quick to step in that role and help where needed. Shawn made sure that we all knew where we were supposed to be throughout the whole night. We were moving along faster than expected, and as soon as we were going to mention something, Shawn was already on top of it moving us right into our cake cutting. It was easy to see that within just a few minutes of working with him our parents were completely relaxed and knew that no matter what Shawn would keep us on track. Our wedding was at a private location, with a conservative crowd and some of the family did not believe in dancing. It was one of the highlights of the night to see those people dancing and enjoying themselves. We had many people come up to us and compliment us on how wonderful Shawn was and how they appreciated him for not �stealing the show� This was a fun and simple wedding, Shawn put the same heart, passion, and dedication toward our wedding that I have seen him put fourth on weddings that were 3 times larger than ours. Thanks So much Shawn and Jesse(one of Shawns awesome staff) for guiding us through the night and being a big part of our wedding celebration. We can't say enough.

The first thing that impressed me about Event Team Entertainment and Shawn in particular is that for our meetings he came to Kyle & my house. That may sound like a simple thing, but when you start meeting with vendors your weeknights become packed with meetings and have you driving across the city. I really appreciated the willingness for Shawn to come to us! It made him so easy to work with.Another thing that I loved about Shawn was his flexibility. Kyle and I started out not needing him for the ceremony and then soon before the wedding we in fact did need him. That was no problem for Shawn. We also changed the songs we wanted for special dances and times during the reception about 5 times. Not only did Shawn keep up with all the current song changes, he had a great attitude the entire time. For the reception my biggest concern was that people just kept dancing. Kyle and I didn't have a lot of strict direction in what kind of music he played, except that we wanted to just keep the dancing going. And he did that! There wasn't a single song he played where the dance floor wasn't packed. My family and friends have been to a lot of weddings lately and even they were impressed by Shawn. He directed us through the night... nobody missed out on any of the special events because he was sure to get everyone's attention. The guests at the wedding are still talking about how much fun they had dancing and how great the music was. His services at our ceremony and reception were the best. And I would recommend him to anyone who is looking to hire the best! Like I said - I've been to a lot of weddings... where a mic will go out during the toasts, or a wrong song is played - none of this will happen with Shawn. He truly helped make Kyle and my wedding the perfect event that we planned for.

The customer service that Event Team Entertainment provides is exceptional and I never felt that I was being a bother (ever when I changed a song I wanted to play for our reception at 1am the morning of our wedding before I went to bed that night- and yes... it was played just in the order I asked it to appear). Shawn and his Event Team did a great job at our wedding, they were just the right combination of professional and entertaining. Shawn met with my wife and me twice before the wedding to go through the details of song selection, arrangements, and special requests. He was on time and prompt to every meeting. Shawn led a very productive and efficient rehearsal. The day of the wedding Shawn showed as soon as the venue allowed, and prevented any additional worry or stress regarding his arrival. The wedding reception went very well, things moved along at a perfect pace. All of our introduction, first dance, and special moment songs were played as requested. The only improvement at all that could have make our day more special than it already was, would have been if the bride/groom?s personal music preference for hip-hop/country songs had been played during the reception. As it was, the guests had a great time with the songs that were played as well with the bride/groom trivia. After the event, Shawn and his crew discreetly cleaned up their equipment and left the venue as it was prior to the event. The traditional songs were played during the ceremony, and we really appreciated Shawn?s thoughtfulness in selecting the appropriate version of songs that would be best for the type of ceremony we had. Recording the vows and playing them during the last dance was a wonderful and special touch that both bride and groom greatly appreciated. We would definitely recommend to couples who are looking for a great DJ for their wedding.

Shawn Whittemore was everything we could have asked for in a DJ. He was very professional and always kept us informed on any updates and let us know right away if he needed anything from us. He even attended our rehearsal to go over the schedule of our wedding with our coordinator. A lot of our friends and family commented that our DJ did such a great job. He really kept things flowing during the reception and knew our taste in songs. It was really a pleasure having Shawn as our DJ. He covered all bases and we never ran into any sort of problem or issue due to his preparation.

We had several meetings with different DJs set up, but our first meeting was with Shawn from Event Team Entertainment...As soon as we sat down with him we all (my new husband, mother, and father) knew that he was it! As soon as the meeting was over I emailed all the others and canceled with them...He was just completely on top of everything...With Shawn you not only get an amazing DJ, but you also get a master of ceremonies, and eccentially a day of planner! At our rehearsal he went through everything step by step making sure everyone new what to do! And then the day of he made sure everything ran as smoothly as possible, even down to making sure all the bridal party entered the aisle at the correct time! He was amazing! He also has some very unique options for the reception! All my guest were in tears several times throughtout the night!

Shawn was amazing! Our friends and family still talk about how great our DJ was. He made our wedding day so incredibly unique and special. When most people see his costs, they question whether it's worth it, and let me tell you, he is totally worth every penny! He met with us several times leading up to the wedding, making sure our wedding/reception was a representation of us and our relationship. He coordinated our rehearsal, which ended being quite the life-saver. He even threw in some special surprises for us, which made our day even more special. Event Team Entertainment did a fantastic job on our wedding. Event Team Entertainment created an experience not only for our marriage but all the guests that attended the event. It was very flattering to have guests say "I don't want to leave the reception yet" or "the Dj you had last night did an exceptional job" and the very best part was seeing the last shuttle bus at capacity because everyone didn't want to leave. I do have to be honest about one point; by occupation I have a nature to be a little tighter with expenses and was considering having an open bar and cutting back on the expense of the Dj. I am glad my new wife convinced me that people are coming to have a good time and drinking is secondary (they can do that any other time of the week); from the overall experience this definitely proved to be the case and better choice. If you like hassle free, want people to have great experience/memories, and get your money's worth, hands down Event Team Entertainment has my recommendation. WOW - Shawn is way more then just your average DJ. He went above and beyond what you would expect when you hire an entertainer. He made sure everything at the ceremony and reception went as smooth as possible. All of my wedding guests were blown away by the amazing special effects he used at the reception such as are first dance "dancing in the clouds" and the special lighting and voice overs that were used in all of our main dances. My wedding was the most amazing day of my life and we could have never accomplished what we did without Shawn and his staff!

I can't say enough wonderful things about Event Team and Shawn. From the very first phone call to the final goodbye, Shawn was professional, fun, easily contactable and just a blast to work with. After meeting with him, I couldn't resist telling everybody that our wedding would be the best wedding ever since he was involved ? and he made good on my promise! He was very hands-on throughout the entire planning process, made sure everything ran smoothly during the big day, and he even went above and beyond the call of DJ duties by jumping in to help when we had a small cake emergency! The night of our wedding the power was lost due to a fallen tree. Event Team Entertainment didn't miss a beat. They tracked down a generator and the evening continued as we had planned. They were great!

Shawn was everything we hoped he would be. We chose Event Team (specifically Shawn), after an impressive interview. We had met with several other DJ services but Shawn's presentation and professionalism blew us away.He worked with us to create a specialized playlist and was the go to guy with any questions we had, not just about the DJ service, but any logistical questions as well.During the rehearsal he made sure everyone was on the same page and worked with our officiant (My Uncle) to make sure the music cues matched the ceremony script.On the day of the wedding, Shawn was there for even the small things offering mints for the attendants before walking down the aisle. At the reception, all the music we requested was played and he even took requests from our guests. He made sure we were where we needed to be for the cake cutting, mother-son dance, etc. And that we kept to the timetable we created.I could not recommend Event Team entertainment any higher. They offer many additional services that we did not take advantage of due to our daytime ceremony. Many of our guests commented on what a 'rock star' our DJ was.Thanks again!

Shawn made our evening flow perfectly. His years of experience enable him to intuitively know what the guests want and when. He is organized so you can relax and enjoy the fun. I recommend the video package showing the pictures and slide show of the bride and groom. This brought many happy tears and laughter to our guests. We also hired Shawn to show the slideshow at the rehearsal dinner. It was wonderful and the background music was an additional surprise for our guests. Shawn is more than a DJ, he is a professional who acts as your wedding director. He made sure that everything was handled the day of, including pushing my aunt's wheelchair from the parking lot all the way to the ceremony site, making sure the groomsmen had their ties straight and helping to direct the rehearsal and ceremony (he even brought us drinks after the ceremony). He also was an incredible help to us in finding other high quality vendors. Shawn put in many, many hours for our wedding and met with us several times to go over all the details. As a DJ, Shawn provides class and fun- an incredibly hard combination to find! His price may seem high at first glance but he is MORE than worth the value you will receive.

Shawn was amazing! Our wedding day wouldn't have been as great as it was if it wasn't for Shawn and his team. Shawn not only saved the day he did it in style!! I'd already had a DJ booked when he stopped taking my calls and wouldn't awnser my emails 14 days before my wedding. One of my friends had been to a wedding Shawn had done the prevoius year and gave me his number.Shawn awnsered the phone on the first ring and everything just fit into place perfectly from there. He was available for my wedding date and wanted to meet right away. He was able to work around my work shedule and meet me the very next day! He had sent me a list of songs to choose from and when he didn't have a newer song my husband wanted for our first dance he sat right there and bought it off of itunes. We got everything we could have ever dreamed in a DJ that we booked 12 days before our big day. Shawn helped run our rehearsal as our wedding person got stuck in jury duty and was there 100% on our wedding day. He was on time, dressed in a tux, and gave us a great playlist of songs. Even added some in there I hadn't thought about.We got a great deal from Shawn since we booked 12 days before our wedding. But I have to say that I feel as if I cheated him. He totally did way more work then I feel he got paid for!!!!

I have absolutely no complaints about Shawn & his team. Our day was so much fun & Shawn made that happen. He met with us a few times to go over ceremony scripts as well as different music choices. I'm not much of a traditionalist when it comes to weddings so it was nice that he was ready with alternatives to the "Bridal March" when I told him I didn't want to play it. I pretty much made my own playlist for him and he took it from there.

'DJ' is simply an inadequate description of the outstanding, and numerous services that Shawn & Stephen provided for our wedding. When we started planning our wedding, finding the right DJ was a top priority. We knew that a DJ could make or break the night (nobody remembers what they ate at a wedding, but everyone will remember if the entertainment is awful). Shawn was everything we could have hoped for and more. He was recommended to us by another DJ we interviewed and we figured he must be good if even his competitors were recommending him - he did not disappoint! During the planning process, Shawn came to our house several times for consultations and made sure that we got everything we wanted out of the experience. On the big day he acted as Master of Ceremonies and his calm demeanor and organization kept everything moving along at just the right pace. Our wedding would not have been half as good without him and we've had many of our guests call and ask for his name for their own event. I recommend this vendor to anyone who can afford their services. Although they are a premium vendor and the price is definitely on the steep side, they offer so much more than just the DJ music. They were absolutely amazing and well exceeded our expectations. Shawn Whitmore (the owner) was our emcee and worth every penny. This was by far our favorite vendor. He surprised us with throwing in some extra’s on our wedding night and on the fly too. Make sure that you decide whether you want someone to just play music or if you want someone to emcee and be in charge of the flow/mood of the reception. Emceeing skills cost more, but I found that it was worth it. This is not your typical cliché corny wedding DJ. The thing that sold us on this wedding vendor was their level of professionalism and use of today’s technology.

My husband and I were truly blown away by the phenomenal service that Shawn and Event Team Entertainment provided for our wedding ceremony and reception. Our wedding was held at an outdoor venue, meaning Shawn needed to make an extra effort to ensure quality sound. He handled the ceremony music beautifully and I never even noticed where he was set up in the garden. He had prepared a slideshow presentation for us explaining everything he would schedule and arrange to make our special day memorable.

I would highly recommend booking both, as they've done many events together and were able to make our wedding flow beautifully from pictures to ceremony to reception. Our guests were entertained the entire time, and we felt taken care of from beginning to end. Every detail was planned, and our families had a blast. We were gone for a week on our honeymoon, and came home to many messages from friends and wedding guests telling us how great of a time they had. They described feeling like they were a part of our wedding & ceremony, rather than just coming to watch it.

Having the right DJ to make your day go smooth and fun is critical for a successful wedding. As a videographer I also appreciate it when the DJ is flexible enough to allow me to go into their mic setup to make the wedding video sound that much better for toasts, etc. I worked recently with them and Shawn even provided me with an MP3 recording of the ceremony audio that I was able to lay into my client's edit along with my mic sources. The end result was fantastic! The equipment used is extremely important and they always come prepared for anything. I always enjoy how they can MC/direct a crowd without being cheesy. Shawn has it down to a science! Shawn and his other staff are great at keeping me and other pertinent vendors aware of the schedule, which is critical to my success. I highly recommend his services.
