Although Kelly didn't plan my wedding, (I was married years before I met her!) she did plan my daughter's first birthday party. She was so amazing, I thought I'd still write a review about her services. Wow. She is so full of fresh, innovative ideas. Her greatest strength is her attention to detail- she is a true perfectionist! I'm still having guests call me and compliment me on the little details. It's the little touches that really make a great event! Kelly is very professional, easy to work with, and very sweet. She also has amazing vendors who truly love their profession! I had an amazing experience with her and will surely hire her when we renew our vows! :)

I was facing the challenge of getting married while still in law school (and working!) - so there was little time to spare for wedding planning. Kelly made my life SO EASY! She is so enthusiastic and very creative! I knew bits and pieces about what I wanted for my wedding, but Kelly was able to put it all together and come up with wonderful ideas. She knew which vendors to work with in the Houston area, and she was able to save us money with certain vendors because of her relationships with them. She is very detail-oriented and is a perfectionist, which is a great quality to have as a wedding planner. When I first saw the venue on the wedding day - I cried because my dream wedding had been turned into a reality by Kelly. The wedding ran so smoothly! People are still talking about how beautiful our wedding was, and how fun our reception was. Kelly is amazing!!!

Kelly was so awesome! She made the month leading up to my wedding totally stress-free fr me and my mom! And the entire wedding weekend went so smoothly because she was so on top of everything! I did not have to worry about anything but showing up! My wedding ran so smoothly, even with a room flip, she ran things so well that it seemed seamless! She took care of coordinating all the vendors and everything! She is so easy to work with and has so many ideas to make your day perfect!

All of the vendors she referred us to were amazing. Anytime we had questions, she answered in a timely manner. I hired Eventology Weddings for day of services and I received attentive, professional services throughout my dealing with them. They even went beyond the scope of what I'd contracted them to do by providing vendor referrals and picking up my favors the weekend of the wedding. I would use them again in a heartbeat and refer all my engaged friends to them.

Kelly ensured that the most important day of my daughter's life--and mine--went perfectly! Her attention to detail at the reception was invaluable; she allowed me to enjoy our friends and families and not worry at all about the details! I had a blast at the reception because of Kelly! And when the evening was over...well iinto the wee hours...she had loaded up every single thing that needed to be loaded into various cars! My husband and I were pooped and so very grateful!

Here's how really special she is--I apparently overpaid her and she wrote me a check for that amount and handed it to me at the rehearsal! Kelly is simply the best!

Kelly was wonderful to work with for our wedding. She was totally on board with our vision and knew exactly what we wanted. She knew which vendors to recommend so that we would get what we wanted but also stay within our budget. Kelly and I worked closely for over a year before my wedding and she is still helping me wrap up a few loose ends afterward. She goes above and beyond in every way to make sure everything is perfect. I highly recommend her services. I couldn't have had the wedding we did without her.

With such a wonderfully fun and loving personality, Kelly at Eventology Weddings is the best wedding planner you will ever find in Houston. She is talented in so many ways and is extremely detail oriented…which is a characteristic that you extremely desire when planning your wedding. She is extremely creative and can easily pick up what you envision for your wedding day.

Kelly assisted me throughout the whole planning process from beginning to end and she kept me right on schedule as well as attended numerous meetings with me. She is dedicated to you…I remember the night before the wedding she stayed up all night to place little diamond studs on my table signs just because she wanted that extra detail…if that is not dedication, I don’t know what is.

Kelly provided "Day of Coordinator" services for my daughter's wedding this past June. Kelly has a wonderful personality and puts you at ease the moment you meet her. She is very organized and professional and we had two meetings before the big day to discuss all the details. She was always quick to answer emails or phone calls and worked very hard on the day of the wedding with all the behind the scenes details so that we could relax and enjoy the day.

Kelly was AMAZING! She was calming and still managed to run around, organize everything EXACLTY the way I requested, made sure all vendors were on time, allowed one event to transfer smoothly into the other, never kept the guest waiting or hungry, kept the groom and I feeling like stars and made my wedding day the most spectacular day of my life! She was hard-working and truely an Angel! I can't thank her enough!

Kelly was AMAZING. We hired her for day-of coordination, and she made the entire evening flawless. I would definitely recommend her to anyone.

One word... AMAZING!!!
Not only did Kelly go above and beyond in helping plan, coordinate, and execute our wedding... but over one year later when I contacted her because we were having an issue finding our MIA photographer to receive our fully paid for wedding album... Kelly once again swept in and helped facilitate us getting a hold of our photographer and finally receive our album. Like I said... AMAZING!!!!

I cannot recommend Kelly more! Working with her was like working with a friend; I knew she had my best interests in mind & wanted to help make our wedding special. Her knowledge of vendors is great. She knew what my main priorities were (food, entertainment, bar) & helped match me with the vendors that would wow our guests. She also executed a complicated room flip from our ceremony space to the reception space, all within the short time of cocktail hour being outside. She helped the night flow smoothly, making suggestions about when to cut the cake, first dances, etc. so that we could maximize our time with the band.

She was literally the last person to leave The Parador & went above and beyond her duty by returning a lost cell phone to a guest at the hotel afterward. She was more than worth it! I was able to relax on my wedding day and enjoy getting ready with my friends and family. And my husband definitely commented on how cool & calm I was with everything. A happy bride makes for a happy groom!

Kelly was awesome. I could not have asked for a better planner. She had great ideas, was super organized, and proved without a doubt that she knew what she was talking about. I went against her advice when it came to the invitations. I was devastated when they arrived but Kelly was there to save the day -- she actually sat with my maid-of-honor and fixed the invitations so that they were beautiful. I could call upon Kelly for help with the tiniest detail and she was always there to help. If I could give Kelly more than 5 stars I would. :)

Kelly was enthusiastically recommended to us by our photographer even before we had a chance to ask our photographer for other vendor recommendations. They had worked together the weekend before and our photographer was so impressed with Kelly at that wedding she couldn’t wait to recommend her to others. We had already interviewed 4 wedding planners that we were unimpressed with due to various factors( responsiveness,attitude,price, etc…) and were excited by this enthusiastic recommendation. We called Kelly and were immediately struck by her enthusiasm, genuine interest (some seemed more excited by our venue than our wedding) and warmth. She impressed us from the start with her high quality yet reasonable vendor recommendations and attention to detail in answering our questions. We felt 100% sure she would take care of us and all the stress for the wedding disappeared. We found out the wedding day we were not wrong. We had some major issues with our florist the day of the wedding and Kelly 110% took care of them and the flowers turned out beautifully. One detail included her having the florist spray painting vases when she saw they were they wrong color only hours before the wedding. Also, she found a seating solution for our “extra” guests that showed up that evening for a seated dinner with no one noticing. We really appreciated not having to know about these details until after the fact and enjoying a stress-free evening. The night of the wedding everything went by like clockwork with Kelly working tiressly to make it a picture perfect affair. We can not even imagine a better planner or person. One word her her-PERFECTION!

Kelly was amazing at helping us plan our wedding, and she ensured that the wedding day was smooth and hassle-free. Hiring Kelly was TOTALLY worth it because she saved us a ton of time, stress, and money, and she really knows her stuff - she's a pro!

Kelly is awesome because she:
* saved us a lot of money, including letting us borrow some items for the reception (cake knife, toasting glasses, etc.)
* has connections with vendors and knows which ones are the best.
* helped us stay within our budget.
* answered all of our questions in a timely manner, whether it be regarding etiquette, timing/flow of the wedding, etc.
* offered her opinion (if we wanted it) on designs/flowers/dresses
* took care of last-minute emergencies & picked up forgotten items on the wedding day

There were a couple of times where I was waiting to hear back from Kelly for a few days, thinking that my email had gotten lost in her inbox; as it turns out, it wasn't her fault - the vendors were being unresponsive, so she was waiting to hear back from them.

Kelly is selfless - definitely check her out if you're planning a wedding!

Eventology offered invaluable advice and great vendor recommendations. The money and time I saved through the vendor referrals alone paid for the Wedding Planning services.
Sara Kaiser was so helpful and really did a great job on the day of with details. She made me (and my parents) feel comfortable with the timeline and offered great suggestions and tips along the way. She was very conscientious, punctual, and I would recommend Sara to any bride. I so appreciated her help!

We worked with Kelly for our September 18th wedding, and were thoroughly pleased. Kelly helped us get off the ground with planning by recommending vendors and providing guidance on the selection process. She rejoined us for the final month of planning, and ensured our wedding day went off without a hitch. The fact that I can say that nothing truly went wrong on the wedding day is a testimonial to her ability to work behind the scenes to ensure everything goes as planned. She worked well with all our vendors to ensure the final details were complete, and her assistant, Sarah even rushed out at the last minute to get a curling iron. We couldn’t have been more pleased with the outcome, and credit Kelly for getting us on the right track from the beginning.

There were a few hiccups with programs and seating. Mainly from miscommunications.

Kelly has a great personality and she will try to do her best, but she cannot handle all the details by herself. She needs an assistant, but she thinks that $1,000 for a day of service is not enough to hire an assistant. At the wedding day, time is everything and your mind is not in the right place; that's why I was willing to pay for her services, hoping that she was going to keep track of everything to meet our time frame, but that did not happen. We were late for no reason, we just needed a simple phone call from Kelly, but she was busy pinning boutonnieres. That cost me a lot!!! The wedding ceremony was outside and in winter, the daylight is really short. You can imagine!! It did not only cost me daylight, but also money. You have already paid the hotel for a time that neither you or your guests are enjoying. There were some other important issues that she did not handle, not because she is not good at what she does, but because she was alone. If you hire her make sure that she hires an assistant.

Reading all of the rave reviews about Kelly, I can't help but feel cheated. All of the rave reviews is what made me want to hire Kelly. When I met Kelly, she was very personable, detailed, and friendly. I couldn't wait to have her as my "day of" coordinator. Kelly was not able to make the rehearsal, which is totally fine. Her assistant made it and I still felt confident. My mother and I relayed some important details to her assistant that we realized during the rehearsal. We were assured that everything would be taken care of. "This is what we do" made us feel at ease. However, on the day of the wedding, so much about my wedding planner displeased me. To start, everyone was scheduled to arrive at 2:30 pm, however, Kelly showed up much later. Next, something absolutely disappointing happened before I walked down the aisle. My veil popped off! I had a cathedral length veil that, to me, was the highlight of my entire bridal look. My dress was extremely heavy and we told her assistant (at the rehearsal) that we needed someone to walk behind me to carry my dress down the stairs. We were assured this would be taken care of. Needless to say, when I walked to the top of the stairs, no one was around to help with my dress. To make matters worse, Kelly almost opened the doors for me to walk down the aisle without me having my bouquet! Due to the weight of my dress and me walking down the stairs, my veil got caught under, and popped off! Kelly was unsuccessful putting my veil back on me and with little effort. I was crushed, but I had to move on. I know it sounds trivial, but I ALWAYS envisioned myself walking down the aisle with my cathedral veil. We had that veil custom made! I can never, in my life, redo that moment! I was very self conscious walking down the aisle with only a blusher over my face! For the pre-reception, not all of the candy was used for the candy bar (a waste of money) and was not transferred over to the reception until the end when only a few guests were left. My wedding occurred on a late Sunday afternoon, and it had been raining, so a lot of my guests started leaving after they ate. I tried to find Kelly so that we could cut the cake, do the bouquet/garter toss, toast, etc., before too many of my guests left. Kelly was no where to be found! My bridesmaids and I had to scout the entire area to try and find her. Finally she came from the kitchen area, and stuck around momentarily, for a couple of events before she was missing again! She assured me and my Mom that she would be around to "read" the crowd and move things along accordingly. I had to orchestrate the entire remainder of the reception by myself, just me and the DJ! I saw her again, finally, when it was time to clean up. I am so terribly disappointed and feel as if Kelly did the very bare minimum, something I could have had a family member or friend to do. I hired Kelly because I thought she would go above and beyond to take care of me and be there to resolve emergency situations. This did not happen. Writing this review is very difficult because I feel that Kelly is a very kind person. I understand that everyone has an "off" day/night. Reading the reviews from other brides, I am convinced Kelly had an "off" day/night. Unfortunately, it happened on one of the most important days of my life. In the end, this experience makes me regret I hired a planner in the first place. This was an expensive mistake and lesson I learned.
