I have worked with Evonne on a professional level through Project Wedding, and she has been absolutely perfect the entire time. She is incredibly nice, organized, and more importantly... she has a great vision that is so important for wedding planners and designers. I would absolutely consider Events by Evonne if I were planning my own wedding again!

We hired Evonne as our wedding coordinator for our October 2008 wedding in Maui.

From the very beginning, Evonne was really great to work with. She was warm, very helpful and friendly.

Since my husband and I live in Boston and Evonne in Maui, we conducted the entire planning via e-mails. Evonne always responded to our e-mails promptly.
She also always tried to accommodate all our requests. For example, just one week before the wedding, my mom suddenly decided to include a Chinese tea ceremony in our wedding. Evonne helped us incorporate the addition without any questions. She wants her brides and grooms to have the day of their lives and she really means it!

Finally, thanks to Evonne, our wedding day went smoothly and beautifully. Thanks for everything, Evonne!

My wedding was everything I'd dreamed of thanks to Evonne. She is truly passionate about weddings and very detailed oriented. I planned my wedding from Southern California so it was extremely helpful having Evonne in Hawaii organizing all the details. She knows the best florists, musician, and just about anything you will need to plan your perfect wedding. I couldn't have done it without her that's for sure!

Evonne is very familiar with all of the reputable wedding vendors. She gives 110%. She bent over backwards for us and worked closely with us to create the magical wedding we were looking for. Not only was she a monumental part of working out all the logistics -- from our last minute change of venues to creating the layout for the wedding -- she also built the most exquisitely detailed timeline for us and our wedding day went perfectly smoothly because of it. She took time out of her busy schedule to meet with me (numerous times) and answer all my questions and concerns and always came up with such helpful suggestions and ideas. I've never met someone as organized, motivated and passionate as Evonne. She's truly an inspiration!

Hiring her was absolutely the best decision we made for the wedding. On the day of our wedding, I was able to enjoy every moment of it without a single worry because Evonne took care of everything. We absolutely adore her!

My husband and I were recently married in Maui, Hawaii and were planning our wedding from San Francisco, CA. The thought of planning a destination wedding was very overwhelming for us. We were putting our trust and finances in the hands of another person without actually meeting them and hoping the end result would fulfill our wedding day dream. I can't say enough about Evonne's expertise. I was planning a wedding from Michigan---destination Lahaina, Maui. The mere thought of planning a wedding was overwhelming. From the moment I first contacted Evonne Wong from Events by Evonne to interview her over the phone, I was beyond impressed. Her communication skills, both verbally and written on email are exceptional. Her responsiveness is second to none. I never had to worry about following up with her or keeping her on task. Instead, she was keeping me on task! I could not have had the most wonderfully orchestrated and beautifully decorated ceremony and reception without Evonne. My husband and I wholeheartedly believe that the money we spent on hiring Evonne was the smartest wedding related decision we made. She made my vision a reality. She is such a perfectionist and makes each and every detail the most important. I can’t praise her enough. My destination wedding on Maui was a dream come true. Evonne co-ordinated our New Years Eve wedding this past year, and I'm positive she was the reason it flowed seamlessly.

She was organized, reliable, and absolutely fantastic. Her attention to detail was spectacular. She has great taste so I knew we were in good hands. The day of the wedding went smoothly and everyone was able to enjoy it without worry since Evonne handled all the vendors and any issues that arised. We were very happy with her services and I would recommend her to anyone.

Planning a destination wedding (Maui) from a different country probably would have been as painful as putting ourselves through some medieval torture device if it weren't for Evonne. From the get-go, she was dependable, trustworthy, and organized. Aside from a scouting trip, we did all the planning via e-mails and phone calls, and it worked seamlessly because of her responsiveness. Furthermore, she always put out the fires that we brought to her attention.

Evonne is a very popular wedding coordinator. The florists, musician, hair stylist, etc. all said to me that Evonne is the best wedding coordinator because of her passion in the field. My wedding turned out to be beautiful with her patient guidance. Her fluency in both English and Cantonese facilitated our communication and I was comfortable sharing with her what I specifically wanted for the wedding. Thank you so much, Evonne!

I planned my May 2007 wedding in Maui with Evonne over e-mail while I was completing my final year of medical school in West Virginia. Though everyone around me assumed that would be stressful, it honestly was not. Evonne always answered my e-mails promptly and much of the time had already taken care of whatever I was asking about.

On the day of my wedding, I could not have been happier. Everything I had requested was exactly what I wanted but better than I expected. Though I had never met any of the venders before, they were all wonderful. Everyone was very kind and professional. I was later informed that our florist who was also supposed to be the on-site coordinator had to be in the hospital the night before our wedding. Evonne kept me unaware of this glitch before the wedding and I never would have known the difference afterwards.

I very highly recommend Evonne. My wedding was absolutely perfect!! It was so incredibly beautiful and went so smoothly. I feel I could never thank her enough for all she did for me.

Our wedding was May 30, 2006 at The Cove in Makena, Maui. Evonne was helpful with every detial of the wedding as I was planning it via e-mail from Seattle, WA. I am definatley a "planner" and tend to worry about everything being carried through as I envision it. Our wedding was 1/2/07 in Maui. We had Evonne as our event planner and she was wonderful! She made everything so easy! It was literally a "worry-free" wedding! She was very personable and bubbly, and she took care of everything in such a timely manner! She responded quickly to emails or phone calls, and she was willing to do whatever it took to make our day special! We had the dream wedding we had always hoped for! I would highly recommend Evonne as an event planner!
