I am so glad that I booked Angel to help plan my wedding back in May 2009! She was able to pull everything together perfectly. My fiancé and I were living in DC and New York at the time, and Angel helped us plan our wedding in California. While Angel has so many great qualities, I think that my favorite thing about Angel is her positive attitude and enthusiasm. She made me feel so excited about my ideas and I felt that she really cared. She has an excellent sense of style, and completely understood our tastes from the outset. On top of that, she is amazingly organized, calm, and level headed. I felt confident in Angel and trusted that she would make everything work, and as a result I felt completely calm and relaxed my entire wedding day. I would recommend Angel wholeheartedly, a million times, to every one of my closest friends!! She is a wonderful person and I feel fortunate to have had her as my wedding planner!!




Angel is a true professional. She is always quick to respond, is never harried, always cheerful, and super sweet....I had to ask her if she was ever in a bad mood! (Answer = "not really"). I initially did not think I had the extra money to hire a coordinator, but working full time and simultaneously planning a wedding made it a bit difficult and a less-enjoyable process. Angel came on board, and I had a number of the best vendor referrals at my fingertips that fit in my budget within hours of me asking. The time she saved me was worth it in itself...the beautiful wedding that came of it was priceless. I literally did not worry about a single thing the entire day, and that is exactly what you want your wedding day to be. I would refer to anyone in a heartbeat.




Angel was everything I wanted in a full service wedding planner. She not only undertook all the details such as sending out my wedding invitations, she excellently conceived of and executed my 360 person wedding in its entirety. Our wedding was a whole day affair, starting at a country club for an afternoon ceremony and reception, then proceeding to a Korean ceremony at my parents' home and finally ending with an evening reception for family and friends. I wanted different things at each stage of our special day and Angel was able to hear my broad desires and translate them into special details. I found her training in law especially helpful when she was negotiating our vending contracts, especially with the country club. In addition, she is beyond creative and personally created the special pieces to add to our wedding such as the 1,001 hand folded cranes that adorned our altar and the "family tree" she created out of old family photos that decorated the guest table. Her creativity comes from the fact that she has a personal style of her own that is fresh and unique. She not only has an excellent team who are also full of energy and personable but she also knows a plethora of high quality vendors. Most of all, she was respectful with to my parents and we are still friends to this day--that is the best recommendation of all!




The true angel of our wedding day was Angel Swanson of Events of Love and Splendor. Angel was hired after our original wedding coordinator deeply disappointed me and I was feeling a little disillusioned about wedding professionals in general. But I couldn't shake the positive vibe I got from Angel when we communicated and I had a strong feeling she wouldn't let me down. It turns out hiring her was the best wedding decision I made.
We chose Angel's smallest package, but it genuinely felt as though I had a full-time coordinator. She always made me feel like her highest priority and it was such a treat to have someone I could go to with any wedding question, concern, or general paranoia :) I must have emailed her hundreds of times over the course of my engagement and she always responded promptly, with the kindest of words and most creative of suggestions. She was incredibly organized-- she had all our wedding details at the tip of her fingertips and she was always thinking of unique ways to take our wedding to the next level. She enthusiastically designed our Indian fusion dinner menu, which was delicious and a hit among our family and friends. She also came up with the wonderful idea of using saris as cocktail table overlays and moroccan lanterns as centerpieces. It really made our cocktail hour visually stunning and I think our guests appreciated all the little details. She even created gorgeous programs and table stationery for us that perfectly evoked the style of our day.
And there were so many times Angel went above and beyond the call of duty. When my mom's back problems prevented her from driving to a vendor appointment, Angel picked her up, even though it was completely out of her way. And when I visited LA, Angel was stuck in horrible traffic and was late to our florist appointment. When I called and told her not to worry about coming, she insisted on visiting the florist anyway, to make sure our centerpieces were just as they were supposed to be--and this is after sitting in awful LA traffic for hours. It's that sort of special care and attention that makes Angel so amazing.
On the day of the wedding, Angel was a calm, serene presence. She took care of every detail, smoothed over any potential snafus, and encouraged me every moment I became anxious or nervous. Her adorable sister Anna, who serves as her assistant, was just as efficient, organized, and detail-oriented. I truly felt blessed to sit back and relax on the big day without worrying about vendors: I completely trusted Angel to take care of everything and she succeeded beautifully.
I could not recommend someone more and southern California brides are lucky to have Angel Swanson as an option among wedding coordinators. She is truly the best!




Hiring Angel was the best decision I made in the wedding-planning process, and I wish I had done it earlier! I didn't call her until 4 weeks before the wedding, but when I did, she was immediately in touch with my vendors and making sure everyone was on the same page. At the same time, she was always available to take my calls and emails, and helped me pull together all the final details with her creative input. During those few busy weeks she never hesitated to take on a task that would relieve some of my stress, and the day-of her organization and diplomatic skills ensured that the day went smoothly. All my vendors told me how great she was to work with, and many guests commented on how sweet and on top of things Angel was.




First off.....when in doubt, hire a coordinator! They make like SOOO much easier for us!! Especially the day of! The last thing I wanted was to be bothered while getting my hair and makeup done that morning. Because of them, I wasn't bothered once! I had a peaceful (and fun) getting ready time with my girls!




This girl did a kick-arsh job! Seriously. My sister asked me during the whole entire wedding prep why I needed a wedding coordinator when it seems like I have everything under control. Well, yes… I think I was pretty good at keeping on top of things and what not before my wedding, but the day of the wedding… I went into “vacation mode” (I’m sure this makes sense to every bride out there). I didn’t want to deal with anything. Angel was great about keeping the fires at bay and making sure that I didn’t hear about any mishaps before the wedding (apparently my ushers decided to take a Taco Bell break 15 mins BEFORE the wedding started AND my gift people were 15 mins LATE!). *sigh* All my bridesmaids lost weight before the wedding and their dresses were a bit big. While they were pulling the sashes, one of my bridesmaids’ dresses ripped (all things you think COULDN’T happen at your wedding… right? haha). Angel was a doll and produced needle and thread and whipped my bridesmaid dress up in a jiffy. She was great about keeping me calm through the florist fiasco (I was ready to rip the lady a new one when I found out that my jr. bridesmaid didn’t have her flowers). She would give me timeline check-ups and told me when things were starting earlier than expected. All-in-all, she was one of the best investments that I made throughout the wedding planning.




we initially thought our budget did not have room for a coordinator. however, we wanted to ensure that things would run smoothly, we did not want to impose too much on guests, and we wanted to be able to enjoy the day ourselves. while i was very happy with my top three coordinators i met with, angel stood above the rest. her poise, genuine enthusiasm for her clients and weddings, and amazing, current sense of style set her apart. no matter the look and feel you are going for in your wedding, she has an adaptable and keen eye for what will (and will not) contribute to the big picture. she is organized and professional but also has an ideal personality, in my opinion, for a coordinator - sincerely sweet and affectionate toward her clients, diplomatic, and nice but firm + assertive when required.
when my original alcohol vendor flaked out two weeks before the wedding, she went over and beyond her contractual obligations in helping me make sure ouf guests did not go thirsty. on the day of, she and her assistant, anna, made sure everything ran smoothly and on time while being everywhere and nowhere at the same time. she cued all of the vendors, the bridal party, our families, and us subtly and at appropriate times. our other vendors commented on what a pleasure she was to work with. many of our guests commented on what an organized yet fun and laid-back wedding ours was, and that result is due in large part to angel's work.




I was so reluctant to hire a coordinator (and it was not in our budget). I thought I could do it all my self. I finally came to my senses and hired Angel as my day of coordinator, just a month before my wedding. Angel is a dream to work with. She came highly recommended by fellow brides and she definitely did not disappoint. She helped so much in that last month. She was always available and on top of everything. In the end, I could not have pulled off without her. I did not worry about a thing on my wedding day. I knew everything was taken care of and it was. I highly recommend at least a day-of-coordinator. It is totally worth every penny!!!




Angel is a pro...in the best sense of the word. First off, I believe that the expense of hiring a wedding coordinator is well worth the cost, provided you hire the right one. For me, the stylish Angel fit the bill. She is extremely professional, prompt and tasteful. It wasn't so much that everything was out of control; more that I needed follow-through on things that were already set and help finding a few key vendors that had yet to be chosen...this four weeks before the wedding. Ever resourceful, she came through with nary a hair out of place - everything remained calm - and most importantly my fiance (now husband) and I were able to appreciate our special day. She was not the cheapest coordinator I interviewed, but she was the one that I felt most in sync with. I had no qualms over her representing me. Basically I was able to trust her enough to let her do her job, which was to help make my life a lot easier as the clocked ticked down to the big day. I'd work with her again, but hopefully not on another wedding for myself.




I hadn’t planned on hiring a coordinator, but I think it was the best wedding planning decision I made. I can’t say enough good things about Angel. She is unbelievably professional, organized and creative! Our whole wedding ran perfectly because of her. I think what makes Angel such an incredible coordinator is that she is genuinely excited for you and the success of the event is personal to her. I feel so blessed to have had her as a coordinator and to call her a friend!




Angel Swanson is awesome!!!! I was so lucky to have booked her for my June wedding. I really cant say enough about her. We really clicked from the get-go, and I just feel that throughout the entire planning process, she really understood our needs. She has tons of creative ideas, open to helping out with anything, and always responded to my phone calls, and emails promptly.
Since our wedding was at a private residence, I knew a good coordinator was necessary. Angel was just the best! She provided a very detailed timeline, contacted all of my vendors, (so I didn't have to) and kept me on track with checklists etc. On the day of the wedding, she set up everything perfectly, and even with a ton of traffic, and screwy mapquest directions, she was able to calm my nerves, wrangle up the bridal party, and kept everything moving along nicely! I never worried about a thing. She was even sweet enough to pack up some leftovers, (cupcakes too) and all of my stuff for us before we left.
Ultimately, I feel that she is super professional, really great to work with, and she can handle any wedding, whether the guest count is 100 or 400! Any bride would be lucky to have her....I know I was!
Angel is a highly professional coordinator who is a pleasure to work with. We have had the opportunity to work with her on several weddings, and there is a remarkable difference in how smoothly her weddings are run. I would highly recommend her to both plan your wedding, and take care of the details while you enjoy your beautiful day!
