We were VERY lucky that all of our guests are on the internet. We saved BIG by not purchasing actual invitations because we just sent out our invitations online through evite. Evite is so easy to use, and they have a lot of pretty layouts to select as your invitation. They even have the option of uploading your own layout, which we did. And it wasn't even 10 days later that we heard back from almost 75% of our guests whether or not they were coming! How awesome is that?!? Evite totally rocks!

After we ordered our invitations, we also decided to send out evites online, and what better site to utilize than Evite.com? We use evite.com for all of our events, and as usual setting up a wedding invitation was easy as pie! Not only do they have pre-designed invites you can use or upload your own (we chose a pre-designed one), but how can you go wrong with FREE? We also used evite to send out our engagement party invitations beforehand, and we used the site again for our rehearsal dinner.

With eVite.com we were able to send out a customized invitation to all of our friends complete with links to our registry. People could easily reply back with their RSVP so we knew how much food to order and chairs to get. Easy and free.

Because we only invited our immediately family and closest friends, we didn't think that we needed an actual invitation to go out. Plus, our guests are all very computer-savvy, so we opted on sending our invitations via eVite.com instead. We were very happy with our decision because within one week of sending it out, everyone that we invited RSVPed yes! We were able to design and upload our own invitation background to use as well. The site is very easy to use, and is FREE! Can't get any better than F-R-E-E!!

Okay, so we originally were going to order actual invitations, but then our budget got slashed. I talked it over with my husband, and we both agreed that because all of our guests have Email and are proficient online, that we would just invite them via the internet. We have used Evite in the past for other events, so we decided to use Evite to send out of invitations. It was great to use this as it was not only free, but easy! Plus, we could see right away who was coming, who wasn't and who still needed to RSVP!

This the age of technology and we had a very small wedding (roughly about 25 close family and friends, so we used evite. It was cheaper, quicker, and you get your rsvp immediately, no waiting in the mail.

Aside from ordering our invitations, we also decided to send an evite online to everyone as well. The whole evite process is very easy, and it was a quick turnaround to receive responses from our family and friends if they were attending our wedding or not. Plus, it's free!

Everyone we were inviting uses email primarily and some live overseas, and as our wedding was more casual, it seemed the easiest choice. However, while everyone looked, not everyone replied via the evite (some via phone and some via email) and there is no option to let the organizer edit responses for the guests. Further, we sent out family invites via one email, but evite seemed to have difficulty understanding this concept. Regardless, we have almost all the replies now and the evite itself was cute and personalized. Would be better for the bridal shower or guy's outing, rather than the wedding.
