Reviews for Expedia
We booked our flight and room with expedia. We got a great deal plus we got a direct flight and 6 nights for less than a 1000$! It was easy to use.
We were able to book our honeymoon cruise for a fantastic price through Expedia. The specialist who helped us was wonderful and she even ended up finding us more discounts within our cruise line without us having to ask! I would use them again in an instant. They really made it easy.
We purchased our honeymoon package through Expedia. We were able to get a flight, hotel and rental car for 5 days under $900. That was the best deal I could have ever found. We didn't plan major events on our honeymoon, but just did what we wanted to do.
WE DID IT OURSELF AND GOT EXACTLY WHAT WE WANTED.
We booked a last minute honeymoon on expedia and we couldn’t be happier. We went to Puerto Rico and absolutely loved it. The hotels we stayed at were amazing and the beaches AMAZING!
We knew when we wanted to go to Hawaii, but we also knew that booking through the marathon organizers would be more expensive. AND we also knew that places book up fast, so we made our reservations almost a year before. We booked our flights and hotels through Expedia. I think the next time around we will also book a car, because we ended up renting a car locally, and we paid over $100 more than what expedia quoted us for. The hotel was great, I think it was easy to chose because we knew where we wanted to be, and there was no problems with our e-tickets. Expedia is easy to use, and I always book my tickets through them.
Brock and I have been using expedia since 2002, I think. We’re basically pros.
We booked our tickets through the internet (expedia.com), but I would suggest booking early or looking for package deals because everything gets expensive. Sometimes a package deal that includes the hotel and a tour will be cheaper in the long run.
We booked our London honeymoon travel on Expedia.com and everything turned out great! We got a great discount for booking our flights/hotel/car as a package. Using expedia made it very easy to plan the trip. User-friendly.
We book a package deal to the Caribbeans through expedia.com. My best friend’s daughter showed me the site several years ago, probably almost a decade ago, and I like the system and I think it’s pretty easy to use. I always base my selections on the star rating and on the reviews that other people give the resort. I also like how you can always check the status of your trip. Our resort was really peaceful, away from the more crowded tourist areas.
We keep using expedia to book tickets, which we did for our flights to Hawaii from MSP airport. We had no trouble with them THIS time, but we have had trouble with them in the past! We just keep going back! It took us about twenty minutes of searching and comparing prices, and we were able to book a car and three nights hotel. After three nights we felt we would be confident enough to find other lodgment on the island.
I like expedia, but I have been noticing lately that they really charge more for insurance (like cancellation fees in case of sickness). It made us worry so we bought to be safe. Buying the extra insurance did make the cost of our trip more expensive, but overall the shopping experience was very easy. We just did a few searched on package deals until we found one in our budget and for the destination we wanted. It was cheaper to get hotel and flight, which is what we did. We could have found cheaper hotels, but it’s nice knowing that we stayed in a 5 star hotel but only paid 3 star fees.
I was very nervous about booking a holiday over the internet, especially since we were going to Mexico, and country that I had never been to before. My husband said that Mexico is such a popular destination, and that most sites would advertise the good locations. In either case, I booked us a package flight and hotel all-inclusive deal through expedia.com. I choose to go with expedia.com because they are a well-advertised company, and I figure they would weed out all the bad or seedy hotels. We also chose our hotel based on the star rating, and went with a 4 star hotel. We could have gone 5 stars for $50 more dollars a night, but decided that 4 stars would be good for us! The flight was easy, the hotel was great, and our stay was perfect. We got a good deal, and now I know what to expect when booking a package deal.
We booked the cheapest flights we could find, which weren't that cheap because of the time of the year. We never book hotels through Expedia because they only point us to the most expensive hotels, and not the hostels that cost a fraction less. Lonely Planet country guides are a great source for hostels. Most hostels in Europe will take people over the age of 30. Even if they charge a bit more for a private room, staying at a hostel is a fun and more interactive way of seeing a country.
We stayed at the rui palace cabo in san lucas. We booked it because it was an all inclusive for a very good price and the expedia name carries its weight. The hotel had a spa, casino, various restaurants and a night club. We had a ball.
Expedia is great! you can compare prices and plan your trip. I have used expedia for the last 5 years and never had any problem with it.
We have been using expedia.com for years and I had to find an all inclusive trip to Jamiaca . We stayed at the Sandels which I will describe at the appropriate section. Okay back to the agent, Sandra was nice but I feel she was not aggressive enough and we had to do a lot of our own research.
We had a wonderful honeymoon in Punta Cana, but we did have some problems with booking through Expedia. For example, I typed that I wanted to use Dulles airport. I did not realize that Expedia has us leaving Dulles and coming back in to Reagan Airport until the night that we left for the honeymoon. Please be sure to verify that you are going in and coming back to the same airport.
We also had problems because we booked excursions through Expedia's website. We did not realize that the excursions that we booked would occur at a different hotel because Expedia did not make this known to us. We had to take a cab from our hotel to another hotel in the Dominican Republic to do our scuba dive and snorkeling excursions. It was a stressful and frustrating part of our honeymoon, so we suggest booking excursions once you arrive at your hotel. We found that the hotel offered excursions for the same price as Expedia did, so we would have save money that we had to spend on a taxi if we had waited to book our excursions through our hotel.
Other than that, my experience with Expedia went well because the prices were very affordable and the honeymoon was easy to book online.
We went to Costa Rica for our honeymoon and booked travel through Expedia.com. The website gave enough information on the hotel and it was exactly as expected. We would use the same site to make future reservations
I used this site to book the plane tickets for our honeymoon. It was a pretty fast and easy process. I prefer to book travel online when possible, and this is a site that I trust.
Very easy to use website. Good prices. Good packages for hotels and rental cars.
We got super cheap tickets to mexico~
We decided to book our plane tickets and our car rental through expedia. That was probably the best thing we ever did! It was so much cheaper!
expedia is great when it comes to comparing the different vacations. it gives you pictures so you can see what te hotels look like too
We had a fabulous time on our trip to Cancun. Expedia was perfect! They even upgraded us to first class! yay! I would recommend buying all your trips through them as well as ground transportation!
Expedia.com has the absolute lowest prices, and best packages. We actually took my husband's daughter, age 9, and so we had to take our "family honeymoon" during her spring break. We were still able to get great accomodations. Highly recommend.
Would not go through them again. We still had to pick up our tickets elsewhere in hawaii. Nobody even could give us concrete information. But first our tickets on the airline that went out of business. They never informed us and expedia was not helpful in that matter. I had to go throu my bank to get my refund.
