Words cannot describe how amazing Lauren & Kim are! After receiving their services as a bridesmaid in my cousin's wedding, I knew I needed to book them for my wedding. Not only are they professional and outstanding at what they do, they are so easy to get along with and made the morning of my wedding a blast. Even with a crazy wedding party size of 11, our morning moved ahead flawlessly. Our hair and make up lasted all day/night, even after spending the entire evening on the dance floor. Lauren and Kim are the best! They came right to my mothers home in manchester set up and was ready to roll. All my bridesmaids looked amazing and i really could not be happier with how my makeup and hair came out. Even at your most nervous Lauren and Kim make you feel relaxed, make you laugh and start your wedding day out feeling uplifted and on the right track.

Lauren and Kim are not only phenomenal professionals but phenomenal people. They were on time, prepared, excited and supportive. When you meet them you feel like you've known them for years. They gave me the best makeup I've ever had in my life for my wedding day without any direction from me! I had zero idea of what to tell Lauren about my makeup and she still did the perfect job. My hair done by Kim was insanely amazing and stayed solid for 13 hours and I had on a head band which I can never get to stay, Kim made it solid. I was complimented all night on my hair and makeup and could not have been more proud to tell them who was responsible for it! (the best part was that I was able to enjoy my entire wedding without running to the bathroom once to "freshen up" because my makeuo and hair was perfect the entire time.

Lauren and Kim were terrific to work with. They arrived on time, had everything with them. They made us all look so beautiful. I am the mother of the bride, and I have never looked so good. I was not overdone, but if I say so myself, I looked great! My younger daughter was a bridesmaid and she does usually does her own makeup, quite well. Well, Lauren did an amazing job and my daughter has never looked better. The bride, my older daughter, well what can I say, all brides look beautiful. This girl rarely uses make up so she was concerned that she would look to done up. Well, that was not the case, Lauren made her look like a beautiful natural beauty. The pictures don't lie! As far as the hair goes, Kim was great. We showed her pictures, and she interpreted them to create hair styles for each of us that were so very complimentary. I wish Lauren and Kim could do my hair and make up every time I had a special occasion! They were calm and collected and never became anxious or made us feel rushed. They did their job in record time and we even had time to have a champagne toast! I'd recommend them highly to my best friends!

Lauren and Kim at Makeup Artistry were fabulous! They are very quick and proficient and you can tell they have a lot of experience. They are extremely personable and made my entire wedding party feel at ease chatting throughout the morning getting ready. By the time they left they felt like old friends! My bridal party members each looked unique-they did not do one or two stock styles. Kim suits the hair to what each person would like and feels comfortable in. She also did my mom’s hair which is extremely short because it is growing back from chemo. Lauren’s makeup is wonderful…she had all different ages and did each appropriately. I had some morning nerves and Lauren handled me with such care and did all she could to make me relaxed and ready. I cannot thank these girls enough for their beautiful work and the great experience they provided.

Using Expert Makeup Artistry was one of the BEST investments I made for my wedding – I am still receiving compliments about my hair and makeup! From the trial to the wedding, Lauren was incredibly friendly and responsive and would even periodically check in with me to see how I was doing with wedding planning. Unfortunately, she was booked for another wedding on the same day, but she still answered all of my makeup/hair questions, and really made me feel at ease about everything. I really appreciated her flexibility and felt like she acted more like a friend than a vendor. It’s obvious that she really cares about her clients and wants to do everything she can to create the perfect beginning to any bride’s wedding day!
I hired Kim to do hair and Paula to do makeup for myself, my 5 bridesmaids, my mother, my mother-in-law and my flower girl, and everyone looked fantastic! The morning of the wedding, both ladies showed up early, kept us calm & collected, and were super easy going, but professional. They took their time and spent about an hour and a half on each girl so they felt really pampered and special.
Kim is amazing with hair and made everyone look incredible. The day of the wedding, I made a last minute change to my hairstyle and Kim was so understanding and accommodating. She put my hair into this amazing style that I would never have thought to do, and I loved it! As for makeup, Paula was a true artist. My husband was so worried that I wouldn’t ‘look like myself’ on our wedding day, but he was blown away with the makeup Paula did and kept telling me how beautiful I looked.
In the end, I thought my girls and I looked BEAUTIFUL! Exactly how I pictured everyone to be & more! The girls and I danced straight through the wedding and didn’t need one touch up to hair or makeup – that in and of itself should show you what incredible work these ladies do.

Lauren and Kim did the hair and makeup for myself and my bridal party on 05/21. They were the only trial I went to. They arrived earlier than scheduled and had us done early as well (with no rushing around). Everyone looked FANTASTIC! They were very flexible in terms of what styles we liked and also having to make a few unexpected changes to the contract. They even reviewed the pictures they had taken of my mom and I at the trial and came equipped with additional suggestions the day of. Best of all, the makeup wasn't too heavy and cakey; I looked like myself but fancier (which was important to me). The makeup and hair lasted until the next day and looked perfect through lots of dancing. I looked the best I ever have, and more importantly, felt the most confident I ever have. I recommend them without a doubt!

Lauren is truly a phenomenal talent. For my makeup, I was looking for a glamorous yet approachable look, and she nailed it. I opted for airbrush application, and her work lasted until I took it off more than 12 hours later. Two of my bridesmaids also had the airbrush, and they were also pleased. She arrived on time at my prep site, and worked efficiently - even amid the chaos surrounding her!

Working with Lauren and Kim was a pleasure. Not only are they both friendly and easygoing but more importantly, reliable, affordable and incredibly talented. As most brides know, the day of your wedding carries a mixture of emotions and you just hope your day goes by smoothly and without a hitch. For me, Lauren and Kim helped make that sentiment possible.

Lauren and Kim arrived a little earlier than the start time, which was comforting, and immediately got to work. The two of them were able to handle a total of 6 ladies, including myself, within just a couple of hours-working seamlessly as team. The mood in the room was light, as Lauren and Kim would switch off on girls, never once making anyone feel rushed or unsatisfied. By the time we were all done, we felt pampered, gorgeous and confident.

I can’t say enough good things about Lauren and Kim. As the bride, it was really important to me that my bridesmaids, mother and mother in-law, felt good about themselves and the money we were spending. When all was said and done, it was great to see my ladies so happy with their hair and makeup-they felt good about themselves and it showed. For myself, I felt that I looked exactly as I had hoped and even better than I imagined. On my wedding day, I felt truly beautiful and Lauren and Kim helped make that happen.

Lauren and Kim did SUCH a fabulous job with hair & Make-up. My sister and I went for a trial before the wedding, and they took the time and patience to try different styles. They took notes and picutres of all of the different styles that we tried. On the morning of my wedding they arrived (each with an assistant) at 5:30 am and were so calming and professional! They made sure that I didn't worry about a thing! I was so pleased with how my hair and make-up came out, and so were the rest of the girls! My hair even stayed in the whole next day for our brunch!!! Thank you so much to Kim and Lauren for making me feel like princess for a day!

It was awesome working with Lauren. She is an amazing make-up artist, very flexable and always on time. She is usually at your site at least an hour b4 needed. She likes to give herself time "just in case". The trial was so much fun, the music she plays, the conversation she holds, and the most amazing make up job you've ever had. Lauren and Kim where at my house bright and early to do my hair and make-up and several other people in my wedding party. They each took the time to talk with everyone to see what they normally wear and worked with them to make a beautiful complete look. They made everyone comfortable and beautiful!

Lauren & Kim were so great to work with. They were at my parent's house bright & early and ready to work on me, my mom, & four of my bridesmaids. Everybody's hair & makeup came out amazing. The makeup matched everybody's personalities & for a bunch of girls with curly/wavy hair, everybody's hair was tamed nicely and stayed throughout the night. I would definately recommend this duo. Their personalities also helped brighten up the morning. Also, Kim met me at the reception hall & we did a hair change after the ceremony, definately was a nice touch and worth the extra money!

I was so happy with the makeup Lauren did for my July 2010 wedding. She was so friendly and professional, she made everyone feel special! She was one of my favorite vendors!

I spoke to many make up artists and caleld around for prices, and Lauren is by far the most resonably priced for the quality of service she offers. She is down to earth and makes you feel so comfortable at the trial and on your big day. She works with you to help you make a make up choice that is right for you. For example, I don't wear much make up on an every day basis, so for the big day I didn't want to put too much on. Lauren suggested doing a little more so it would show up on the pictures and so that it would last throughout the evening. I took her suggestion and went with a little more, but she still made it look very natural and tasteful.

Also, if you are looking for a person to do your hair, Lauren's cousin Kim should be your first choice! Kim did an awesome job with my hair. It lasted throughout the night and it was exactly what I wanted!

Let me start by saying I am a huge makeup girl--I collect anything MAC like it's going out style so I knew when I needed to find a makeup artist for my big day--they had to be fab! After trying 2 artists--I wasn't impressed, and began to look online for real brides' opinions. That's when I came across Lauren's name--everyone raved about her talent and awesome personality...I booked a trial right away. Well let me tell you--we clicked instantly! She has one of the warmest, most awesome personalities and makes you feel so comfortable talking to her and asking opinions on makeup looks. She enhanced my beauty--just enough...it wasn't too much like some artists tend to do, but it wasn't natural looking (which I don't prefer)...it was just right! I booked with her right away and even hired her to do my makeup for my bridal shower. I even got my first airbrush application from her and I loved it!!! So natural and glowy! The day of my wedding-Lauren fit right in with my nutty crew---all of my bridesmaids and my mom looked absolutely gorgeous! My makeup was flawless and held up all night (I even wore it to breakfast the next morning--shhh) : ) I can't say enough good praises about Lauren--her talent and personality won me over and I can't wait to find another excuse to get my makeup done by her!!!

LOVED my wedding makeup! Lauren is truly a professional as well as a down to earth person. I looked and felt beautiful on the most important day of my life and Lauren played a huge role in this. Lauren was amazing! She was the 5th make-up artists I had a trial with and was exactly what I was looking for. She did exactly what I wanted and more. Lauren is AWESOME! She did make-up for me, my mom & the bridal party for my New Year's Eve wedding. It was snowing & she made her husband drive her to my house...she wasn't about to let us down on the biggest day of my life! My face looked flawless in every photo. Every one of my girls looked FABULOUS! Not only is she great at what she does but has a wonderful personality to boot! It doesn't get much better than that. We had a great time getting ready! Everyone was VERY satisfied....she's EXCELLENT!!!!!!

Lauren did my bridal party and my make up for my December 4th wedding. Lauren came to us about 30 mins early. She was prepared and had her area set up in about 15 mins. She was ready to go. Lauren was so sweet and engaging at both the trials she did for me as well as the day of the wedding. She had everyone talking and laughing. Lauren remembered things that she learned about the family such as it being my youngers sisters senior year, the name of our parents dog, as well as my mom opening up the pool the first time she visited. This made all of us feel very comfortable with her as if she was a member of the family.

Since there was no set look for the girls, Lauren asked everyone to see their dresses so that she could get an idea of their look. She then let everyone pick their own colors and worked it into a natural look for them. Lauren exceeded my expectations. She was very understanding when a small bump in our hair getting done happened, she also did touch ups after smoke breaks, and touched up tan lines.

Lauren was all around amazing to work with. I loved her services and will be using them again. I can not wait to stop at her shop and take some of her classes she offers. As a person who does not wear make up on an every day basis, I felt so comfortable with the make up and was thrilled when it lasted all night. Looking at the pictures I am so happy that I went with her. She made me look like me just dolled up.

From my first meeting with Lauren I loved her! She has such a bright, bubbly personality and she makes you feel totally comfortable and excited. My first trial with Lauren was great - she applied full wedding day conventional make-up and gave explanations for everything she was doing along the way and was happy to make changes where requested. I was thrilled with the outcome and booked her on the spot!
A few months later, I was a bridesmaid in my friend's wedding where I wore airbrush make-up and decided that's what I wanted for my own wedding. I contacted Lauren about doing another trial for airbrush make-up and not only did she happily do another trial, but she did it free of charge since I had already booked her services!
The day before my wedding Lauren called me just to check in and to see if there was anything that I needed before my big day - I found that to be really thoughtful and a testament to what a wonderful person Lauren is.
On my wedding day, Lauren arrived early to begin setting up and was full of energy and genuinely excited about doing make-up for me, my mom and my bridesmaids. She did an absolutely spectacular job on everyone and I have to say, she exceeded my expectations for my wedding day make-up. I loved both my trials with her but nothing compared to how perfectly she did my make-up for the real thing. She listened to everything that I said and applied it. I booked Lauren to do makeup for just me, the bride, and she accommodated me with just as much enthusiasm as if I'd booked her services for the entire bridal party. Some makeup artists will refuse to come out for just one girl so I was really impressed by that. I'm not someone who wears a lot of makeup and was hoping for a natural yet glamorous look for my wedding. I had trouble articulating it, but Lauren knew exactly what I was looking for and just did her thing. She's very knowledgeable and walked me through every thing she was doing with the makeup at the trial and I learned a lot about what works on me and what doesn't. On my big day, she did a beautiful job with my makeup and helped one of my bridesmaids with her hair even though she totally didn't have to, as my girl did her own makeup. Lauren has a wonderful, outgoing personality and will keep you laughing. She loves what she does and it shows. Lauren's prices are very reasonable, both for the trial and for the big day. Lauren was awesome! I can't say enough about the amazing job she did for my wedding. I had a huge bridal party and everyone looked beautiful! I wasn't 100% sure of the coloring we used during my first trial and when I told Lauren I was thinking something a little different she assured me that it was totally cool and we could do a 2nd trial to make sure I was comfortable with what we decided for that day. Lauren did an amazing job! I never wear make up and I was concerned about looking too "made up" on my wedding day. Lauren did a great job on both myself and my mom and mother in law. Expert Makeup Artistry (Lauren) is unbelievable at what she does. Her makeup skils are out of this world and she can make you look like a billion bucks any day. She worked on myself, bridesmaids, mothers and aunts and made each woman look absolutely flawless.
