Lisa did the flowers for my wedding on 10-10-10, they were absolutely spectacular.....just like Lisa!!! Lisa went above and beyond for my wedding, she was there to help my special guest with their corsages and boutonniere and even made some on the spot for people that I did not order for...( The husband told me not to order for his sister and sister-in law). Lisa did a great job on my cake as well, as I had fresh flowers!

The guests could not stop talking about how fresh and beautiful the flowers were. My Nona (grandmother) dried her's and placed them in her special bible. I actually kept mine in the fridge for over 2 weeks and finally had to throw them away after our honeymoon, I kept the roses for potpourri.

The prices were very reasonable, my mom was a little skeptical at 1st, because she did not have a store front, but after meeting Lisa, my mom said we had to have her do the flowers.

If you have an upcoming wedding or any other events, you need to contact Lisa first, don't bother calling any other florist. You will not be disappointed!!!

I would have to say that as little as we interacted with Lisa (as compared to some of out other vendors) she was among the best vendors I have ever worked with, ever. She is very friendly, responsive, and takes ownership and pride in her work. She doesnt wait for you to find an issue or imperfections in her work, she tries her hardest to prevent such things from happening which is no easy task in the heat of Gilroy/Morgan Hill.Though she is not the cheapest, the bang for the buck and flexibility that you get when you work with Lisa is worth every penny. Just meet her and you will know what I'm talking about. She is the the fanciest or biggest florist you are likely to run into, but she is definately accomodating and friendly - and, most importantly, she is efficient and thorough with her work as your wedding florist!

We loved, loved, loved Lisa. She met with us a few times to help us decide what flowers would be perfect for our wedding. She is great with communication and answering all of the questions I had. She has a background in wholesale floral and was able to provide us with a wonderful variety and great prices ( we were able to stay in budget). We were able to use some of her rentals items which also helped on cutting costs. She was so helpful the day of the wedding and her work is wonderful. We had so many guests make comments about how gorgeous and creative the flowers were. I had many people ask for her contact information and would highly recommend her to anyone with an upcoming wedding.

Lisa did the flowers for our wedding in October 2008 and was fantastic. She didn't need a fancy website or storefront to impress me. She is incredibly friendly and positive, which is key in the wedding business, because she truly enjoys what she does. Lisa's prices were far more reasonable than other florists in the area and I was happy to give her our business.

She is also very open to thinking outside the box. We knew we would work well together when I said I didn't want a "white ball of roses" and she said "Oh, good!" She likes being creative and working with other creative people, so while she made beautiful bouquets, corsages, boutonnieres and ceremony flowers, she also helped us get a good price for cut flowers that we arranged ourselves for the reception.

And rather than be confused by my only instructions of having fall colors and as many locally sourced and seasonal flowers as possible, she understood my aesthetic and went above and beyond - even dropping off additional cut flowers free of charge simply so they wouldn't go to waste and because they were in the color scheme.

She was also fantastic the day of, going so far as to help me put on my mother-in-law's corsage when I couldn't handle straight pins.

Lisa McGhee-Filice was a godsend! Her floral design was not only amazing, beautiful, and creative, but she also made sure it was affordable. For my July wedding, I envisioned flowers that were bright and summery, and Lisa knew exactly what flowers would achieve my overall look. She combined colors and textures together to create the most beautiful arrangements, centerpieces, bouquets, etc. I only had to tell her what I wanted, and she put everything together to achieve my vision. She was extremely friendly and very helpful. She went above and beyond her role as my florist. She was not only my florist, but she also helped with other details. Nearly all of my guests commented on how beautiful the flowers were, and they were all amazed by the centerpieces and vibrancy of the flowers. Lisa came up with the idea to have floating orchids within the vases of the centerpieces that were twisted in gold wire. Brilliant! Lisa was truly amazing and wonderful to work with! I would recommend her to everyone with an upcoming wedding!

Lisa was so amazing. She met with me more than once at no charge, was very patient as I changed my flower choice 3 different times, arrived on time to my site with vases for all of the bouquets so they would stay fresh, and had a smile on her face the entire time. I truly enjoyed working with Lisa. Her prices were great and her personality even better. The flowers were gorgeous, mine was out of this worls. I LOVED it, and everytime I see myself in a photo with it I feel very satisfied. And that's how it should be. I highly recommend her.

We are really excited to have hired Lisa for our August Wedding,She will be doing everything from ceremony arrangements to all of the bridal party and reception centerpieces.She's been a pleasure to work with and she works out of her home,so her quote was $2,000 less than a florist shop nearby!!! Well, the wedding is over and I have to say Lisa exceeded my expectations! I was completely happy with the boquets,centerpieces and the ceremony arrangements were just beautiful! Lisa was the florist for my December wedding and she did an amazing job! I had no idea what I wanted and I needed someone who knew what they were talking about and who could help me make decisions. Lisa was just that person! I told her my colors, my budget, and gave her the few ideas I had ... she did everything else. She was able to achieve exactly what I wanted and stay within my budget :-) Who could ask for more than that? I got constant complements on my flowers all night long and I was absolutely in love with my bouquet! I highly recommend working with Lisa if you need a knowledgeable, affordable, and creative florist.

Wow, working with Lisa was great! I sort of knew what I wanted, but also didn't know much about flowers. But Lisa listened, gave suggestions, and was open to any revisions. And the flowers... so amazing, so colorful! They stood out and got many, many comments. She also incorporated small details, like different types of ribbons (including material from my dress), colors to match the mothers outfits, etc. Fun and laid-back, reasonably priced, I can't recommend her enough!

She even made my DH a second 'back-up' boutineer and a flower for my MOH's hair at no extra charge. She did a great job pulling together all my bridesmaid's dresses (4 different colors) and even wrapped them each in a different color. She was so nice to work with (and actually came in under budget)

We had very few ideas for wedding flowers when we first started. Lisa helped us come up with our colors and what flowers would look good for our Wedding which was held outside in March. Lisa also helped us with our ceremony, reception and all personal flowers. Our wedding party was very large and she did an outstanding job with our flowers. We received so many compliments from all of the guests and were very pleased with how everything turned out. Lisa is very organized, always on time for our meetings, willing to adapt or change things as needed and made us excited for our big day. Expressions prices are excellent and the quality of work and flowers were great. I would highly recommend this vendor.

Lisa McGhee-Filice was awesome and a lifesaver for our wedding flowers! My original florist became ill just 2 weeks before our wedding. When she heard of my dilemma, Lisa contacted me and offered to help. I'm so glad she did our flowers because they were beautiful. We had orange callas which were not in season in July, but Lisa found the best ones and made gorgeous BM bouquets adding orange roses. She also got me the most wonderful orchids for our centerpieces. She is very knowledgeable about flowers, made the process so smooth, and offered a fantastic price. I would recommend her to any bride.

Lisa (Expressions Floral) was fantastic. The flowers were beautiful. She was able to translate my ideas into reality in such a lovely way. Everyone at the wedding commented on how beautiful the flower arrangements were. I loved my bouquet!!! Lisa took extra time to ask what all the family members who were getting boutineers and corsages were wearing so that she could coordinate the colors. She had very close attention to detail, creative ideas, and very fun and easy to work with. She was always on time and very reliable - the only vendor that I did not stress over leading up to the big day. Her prices were great as well - an added bonus!

Although the wedding is 2 weeks behind me, I am STILL hearing compliments on how gorgeous my flowers were! My parents (both sets) thought you were just a doll to work with, and when I confirmed with them how great you are, they were just thrilled. I was looking back at some of the pictures from the wedding, and told Dan at some points that I can’t believe it was OUR wedding! My bouquet looked amazing, all the orchids looked amazing (I’ve gotten comments that the orchids look like something out of a Dr. Seuss book! That they just didn’t look real!), and everyone was surprised that you and I did it all on a budget!


I have already given your website out to numerous guests from the wedding, so I’m hoping that you will get the publicity you deserve. You were so much fun to work with, so EASY to work with, and I really hope that I have another big event in the future so I can call on you again!

Wow, I wanted to take a minute to thank you soooo much for the fabulous and gorgeous flowers at our wedding on the 9th!!! They were perfect, such an amazing burst of color against the white and black. And lots of people commented on the petals on the runner... so lovely!!

I thought the cake and flowers looked wonderful. Flowers were done by Expressions Floral Events in Gilroy and each of the boutonnieres were different. The alstromerias, roses, berries, and daisies blended together so perfectly.

Lisa, I would like to thank you again for ALL of your help at the wedding....you were a godsend!! You went the extra mile for us and we appreciate it sooo much!!! The flowers were absolutely beautiful, you did an amazing job!!
