I found Vy through a friends wedding that she did. I was a brides maid in that wedding so she had already done my make up and I decided to use her for my wedding. Vy did a fantastic job on me, several of my brides maids and my mom. We all looked are absolute best!! I couldn't be more pleased! Vy and her assistant were extremely professional and friendly, not to mention talented!! I would definitely recommend her if you want this part of your wedding to be stress free!!!

I booked Vy with Exquisite Faces for my August 13, 2011 wedding. I found Vy by searching online and found that she had some of the best prices and I loved that she did both hair and makeup. I did my trial with Vy to get my hair and makeup done for our engagement pictures. She was very great in picking a hair style and makeup that would look best on me. I liked her so much that I ended up booking her for our second engagement photo session and for our wedding! I had 5 bridesmaids, 2 Moms and a flower girl for our wedding. Vy was very accommodating as one of my bridesmaids was unable to come at the last minute. On the day of the wedding, Vy and her team arrived right on time and were very easy to talk to. They made getting ready for my big day very special and fun! All of the girls loved the way their hair and makeup ended up looking. I highly recommend Vy with Exquisite Faces.

Vy and her team did a fabulous job! She worked with me to give me just the look I wanted--beautiful but still natural and not overdone. She was knowledgeable, friendly and easy to work with. Her team was very punctual and planned their time well to ensure we were ready on time. Their prices were very fair and airbrushing was just a flat fee more for everyone, not a per person extra. Overall, they were incredible to work with and I would highly recommend them.

Vy was great to work with! Her prices are fair (definitely one of the most competitive in the bay area) and my wedding day makeup and hair was even more perfect than the trial version. She was able to achieve the more natural look but still had me look and feel special. My hair and makeup also stayed put through the whole wedding with jumping pictures and LOTS of dancing. She was on-time, efficient, and professional. But at the same time, she was a joy to chat with, never leaving you feel bored. She was also really fast with email correspondence. I highly recommend booking her for your big day.

Vy was amazing! She did my makeup for my wedding. I never like when people do my makeup so i was very nervous to have my makeup done by someone that i didnt even know. On your wedding you want to look and feel amazing and i did-thanks to her. I can honestly say that i LOVED how it came out. I did the airbrush and didnt have to touch up all night! If you're looking for hair and makeup artist for a special occasion, especially your wedding day, Vy is the person to look for! Vy recently did my hair and makeup for my wedding on October 30th, 2010. All I can say is that she was AMAZING!! She came with an assistant that worked alongside her and they really planned it out. I hair lasted all day and so did my make up. I have fairly oily skin which on a normal day, would typically would leave a very "shiny" face later on during the day. But her airbrush technique worked like a CHARM!!! and I was shine-free for my whole wedding day. The whole time, she was calm and professional, and she makes sure that the bride does not stress about anything, which believe me, is super important on your big day.

I found Vy through Yelp reviews and she was every bit as good as everyone said she was. I was so impressed with the trial that I didn't bother meeting with anyone else. Vy is extremely professional but personable too which made me feel like she really cared about making me look the best on my wedding day. I booked Vy for my wedding back in October 2010 and she came with lots of assistants who were prepared to do hair and make up for my bridal party. The hair and make up came out amazing and I love the fact that she uses air brushing. Everyone's hair and make up held up despite the rain on my wedding day and we all had lots of compliments. I am highly recommending Vy to anyone looking for a hair/make up artist. She is every bit as great as everyone has commented/reviewed on here and other review sites!

Vy did such a wonderful job on our hair and makeup for my wedding. I had 6 bridesmaids who were getting hair and makeup done as well and Vy brought 2 assistants to make sure everyone was done in time for pictures. They were finished before our deadline! My hair and makeup lasted the entire night and I was very happy with the results. Vy was professional and easy to work with. I highly recommend using her for you wedding hair and makeup!

After going through most of the planning process, I was surprised that when it came to hair and make-up, a lot of salons weren't as up-to-date as they needed to be. I don't mind doing research and looking around, but almost none of the hair and make-up salons/artist I contacted had digital portfolios of their work. Fortunately, Vy was an exception. She had great images of her previous client with before and after shots. It was a testament of her understanding of current trends and her ability to anticipate the needs of her clients. She was very flexible with my needs, considering I had a large party that need both hair and make-up. My bridal party thought Vy and her crew did a great job, and I would certainly recommend her to other friends and family.

I used Vy for my wedding on 8/27/2010. She did amazing work. She did my make-up and all of my bridesmaids and mother of the bride and mother of the groom. She was on time and ready to go. She did everyone's make-up with time to spare. She did everything that I wanted and more. She is an amazing make-up artist. I would use her again and again. If I ever have an event again that I need my make-up done I will so use her again. Thank you Vy so much for the amazing work that you did.

I used Vy for my wedding in Pleasanton last month. She is absolutely amazing, the best makeup artist I could have asked for. I met with her a few months before the wedding for a trial and was impressed with her friendly and professional personality and was blown away by her amazing work.She arrived on my wedding day completely prepared and was extremely accommodating to everyone. Both my mom and my mother in law were extremely happy with her work and couldnt stop talking about how talented Vy is. Vy and her mother are incredibly talented and an absolute joy to work with!!!! I had my hair/makeup trial done in January and everything was duplicated perfectly on the day of my June wedding, I LOVED it! Most of my bridesmaids didn't have a clue how they wanted their hair done on the big day but it was no big deal because Vy's mother was able to work with each girls hair type and length. They all loved the final result and looked amazing!!! Vy listens to any and all requests and her prices are phenomenal, plus she does gorgeous airbrush makeup that makes you look flawless! I found her through http://Yelp.com when looking for a hair/makeup artist for my wedding.I went in for my trial & explained what I wanted & she did it perfectly. The airbrush makeup makes EVERYONE look fantastic & my eyes looked so amazing. Plus, you get free fake eyelashes! Which is awesome if you ever want to use them again, and they look so amazing.When my wedding day came she was right on time & prepared. I had changed a few minor details & she was super nice about all of it. My g.f.'s were so amazed at how wonderful I looked, they were all in awe! My hair and makeup were the most important thing for me, especially with pictures, and Vy nailed it.Thank you so so much for an amazing experience, great customer service, and a FANTASTIC price!

Vy did a lovely job on my hair and makeup for my wedding. I got a lot of compliments on my makeup that day, it looked very natural. Plus nobody could notice that my eyelashes were fake. I highly recommend the airbrush makeup, it is so light, I could hardly tell it was there. The makeup lasted all day, outdoors in the sun, until I had to wash it off at night. My hair managed to stay up the whole day too, the curls were all still curly and Vy was able to secure my crown so that it’ll stay up all day too. She took before and after pictures and e-mailed them to me. I booked her right away. On my wedding day, Vy came early and was a pleasure to work with. Vy did all the make up for my daughters wedding on March 27. She was amazing. Do not hesitate to book her for your special day because her work was fantastic. From the first moment we contacted her to the very end she is professional, prompt with her e-mails, up front about everything and so easy to work with. She did make up for 8 of us on the day of the wedding and all of us felt beautiful as well as natural, no caked on make up feeling. She is so deserving of the 5 stars, in fact we will be using her again in November and are recommending her to everyone.

Exquisite faces is made of a mother-daughter team. Vy (the daughter) does makeup and her mom does hair. They did my hair and makeup on my wedding day, and also my 5 bridesmaids, mom, and grandma's.

My notes:
1) They're both so sweet. Having my makeup done was like hanging out with a friend-- Vy is so friendly and sweet. She even showed me her own wedding photos.
2) During the trial, they both work with the ideas that you have, but they also know their stuff-- ie she knows how dark to make the makeup for wedding photos and how to work with Asian eyes. She let me try on different length fake lashes before deciding what I actually wanted to use.
2) She does airbrush makeup (highly recommend!). It's flawless
3) VERY reasonable priced. Their prices are great not just for the bride, but also the bridesmaids hair and makeup.
4) On my wedding day, Vy and her mom were great. They were calm, relaxed, and all us gals had a great time getting ready together. They were able to replicate exactly what they had done 3 months before at the trial, and included a few of my suggestions/changes. They stayed with us until our pictures, doing last-minute touch-ups. All the girls were beautiful, they did a great job!

Vy was so much fun to work with! She was right on-time on wedding day, and was patient with us ladies as we rushed around to get ready. I felt totally at ease while getting my makeup done as she is such an easy person to get along with. She even brought a brand new touch-up lip gloss for me. So sweet! My makeup stayed on all day and night, even with my mom wiping her lipstick off my cheek, along with some of my makeup! I loved Vy's work so much I worked with her again for my Newlywed/Trash the Dress session. Her mom did my hair and both makeup and hair stayed beautiful throughout the day, even with extremely windy weather and sitting in the car with my hair smooshed for 2 hours. Thanks Vy!

I want to recommend Nia and the Exquisite Faces team for any brides who need makeup and hair for their wedding day. She did amazing job for my family and I and I couldn't be more delighted by the results. Nia is not only a true professional, but she also so friendly and fun and made my wedding day more relaxed and run smoother.

I had gotten so many compliments from friends and family and after looking through my photos (again), I had to let everyone know what a fantastic job she did. Not only that, I think she is an incredible value for the services she provides. I would expect the skill and experience she has that she would be charging much more. I suspect that she will be raising her prices soon as I'm sure the word is getting out about how wonderful her and her team are.

Anyways, if you want someone who you can count on for doing the job right, I would check out Nia and the Exquisite Faces team. I definitely am very happy and grateful to my friend who recommended her to me.

I truly enjoyed working with Nia! She was extremely friendly and was always willing to listen to my suggestions and concerns. I also appreciated the fact that she was very honest with her feedback and helped me to choose the colors and styles that would best conceal my flaws while playing up my strengths.

When I was searching for makeup artists, I paid particular attention to ones that specialized in bridal makeup. I did one trials with Nia with two different looks (one more smoky eye, and the other slightly more natural), and both turned out amazing! She definitely made my eyes stand out and achieved the "fresh yet glam" look I was going for.

The day of my wedding, Nia did a great job with me and my bridesmaids, I think everything was wonderful and I would definitely work with her again in a heartbeat! Thank you Nia for being part of my special day!

Nia is awesome! She did hair and makeup for myself, my mother, bridal party, and one guest who asked if she could have her hair done at the last minute. She is wonderful and professional and did a beautiful natural looking job for a price that was very reasonable compared to many other vendors I inquired with. Absolute no drama either. She was on time (actually 30 minutes early), cheerful, and a pleasure to work with. Definitely recommended!

Nia was an absolute pleasure to work with. I got married in October,2008. From our first conversation she couldn't have been more genuine. Nia was so efficient in returning my calls/text messages and helping with whatever else a nervous bride might need. About 3 months before the wedding, I met with Nia to do my makeup trial. From day one, Nia reassured me that she could be at my hotel the day of the wedding whatever time I needed her to be there. She did makeup for about 6 of my family member/bridal party. Vy did the make up for me, my 5 bridesmaids and my mom at my wedding in April. She was very professional and did an excellent job. I normally do not wear make up so I did not want to look like I had too much on. She listened to all of my requests and I was so happy with the finished product. It lasted all night and looked great till the end. I was so happy with the way that my make up looked in the pictures.
Make sure you get the airbrush foundation that Vy offers. it is incredible! All of my bridesmaids thought it was so cool!!
In addition to everything, she was on time when we met for the trial and for my actual wedding day. She even came to the hotel room and set up a little make up station.

Vy was my makeup artist for my wedding in December. I don't normally wear makeup, so I'm very picky and concern with the amount of makeup being applied on me. During the trial, she was very professional. Vy made sure I was comfortable with the makeup she applied. This was the first time I have experienced the airbrush. It felt very light, refreshing, and had the natural look. I had a makeup trial with a different artist prior to Vy, and she used the traditional technique and I felt the heavy layer of makeup. After the trial with Vy, I didn't bother having any other trials and decided right away that she will be my makeup artist for my wedding.

My wedding ceremony began early in the morning, so she drove from Livermore and be at South San Jose at 5:30AM. Vy was punctual, very easy to work with, and ready to start right awa She was actually more awake than I was. I loved the way she did my makeup, even my mom and sisters who originally didn't want to get their makeups done, changed their mind at the last minute. Vy was happy to do their makeup.

Thank you, Vy, for making me look like a star that day. I received so many great compliments from my family and friends.

Vy did my makeup along with my four bridesmaids and two readers for my wedding in June. She did such an AMAZING job! I normally wear makeup on a daily basis (as do most of my bridesmaids and readers), so I wanted to make sure my wedding makeup did not look like my everyday makeup. I could not have been more thrilled with the results. She airbrushed all of us and it looked just amazing. I would absolutely recommend that to any bride. Your face will look flawless and it was so comfortable to wear all day long.
