Reviews for Fabulous Food Inc.
GUEST

Fabulous Food Inc catered my Day-After Brunch (our wedding venue required the use of the in-house caterer for the reception) and the food was wonderful. We received compliments from all of our guests and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. I have food allergies and they were very understanding and took great care to accomodate them.

If you happen to live anywhere near the Ann Arbor, MI area you might not be aware of a tightly lipped secret! A local caterer to the STARS!!!
When I was in need of a job back in the 90's Chef Connie McIntire took me on!
She really had no idea what she was in for with me... haha, I only lasted like 6 months, I think because she liked me. But I learned so much while I was on her staff.
I learned about quality, prep, wine, presentation, but most importantly I learned the art of food from a master! So, Of course I had her cater my wedding reception!
Her staff is professional and prices are reasonable for moderate to high-end catering! Her staff will help with event planning and they also can provide bartending as well. They will prepare menus and estimates for your review and take you every step of the way to a flawless event!
About Fabulous Food Inc.
Connie McIntire has cooked for the Rolling Stones, Annie Lenox, Pink Floyd and Bob Seger. These days, as executive chef of catering company Fabulous food and the proud co-owner of the Commons Café, she’s cooking for a different, occasionally equally demanding crowd: food-savvy Ann Arborites.
Chef Constance McIntire
McIntire became a chef to the stars after catering a gig for 1970s rock band Aerosmith in Boston, when she landed a job with Detroit concert promoters Brass Ring Productions. Through Brass Ring, she cooked for challenging stars like Boy George, who was homesick for Brit-Indian fare like curried spinach with raisins, and Barry Manilow, who she says was “slightly OCD and didn’t like his food to be touched. “Some of the nicest stars, she says, were the biggest, including Annie Lennox, Ozzy Osbourne & Frank Sinatra.
Unlike touring rock musicians, who often crave less than healthy comfort foods from their childhoods (Connie says she “learned to make a lot of Yorkshire pudding and shepherd pie”) our Ann Arbor clients are treated to healthier fare. Most things are grilled, steamed, baked, and roasted. We also use Asian and Southwest influences.
McIntire says she doesn’t miss her rock and roll lifestyle-especially since she can still see a concert in style pretty much anytime she wants. “I still have a lot of friends and I don’t have to go through the front door.”
