Fairy Godmother

Fairy Godmother is more than just event planning, they are your family. On our wedding day, Colleen and her girls we beyond amazing by communicating for all the vendors, our wedding party and guests. They were on top of every movement that was going to happen from the start of the day, until the reception came to an end. They were extremely professional but also made you feel like they were your friends. Without their help and teamwork, our wedding would not have been the amazing event it turned out to be. They are the back bone that keeps the day smooth.

The day of coordinating was an enormous help and took so much stress off of the bride and whole wedding party.

My dad says it was the best decison we made in planning the wedding - they were invaluable -- Having their support made it possible for all of the family to savor the celebration with out the worry of the details !! They do it all!! Love them - You know the phrase "Friends dont let friends drink and drive", I want to start a campaign for them that says " Friends dont let friends plan a wedding without a Fairy Godmother !!"

Colleen and her staff was amazing and the made all of my wedding plans come to life. It was so nice to not have to worry about all the details on your wedding day. Chris and I were able to enjoy our wedding to the fullest thanks to The Fairy Godmother!!!!!!

We hired Fairy Godmother for our same day wedding coordinator with expectations, Colleen met every expectation and more!!! she was and incredible help to myself as the bride and my parents the bridal party and my husband! I would like to extend my warmest thank you for your services on my wedding day! Fairy Godmother was an absolute asset to making my fairytale come true! Leticia not only made me feel like a Queen, but managed to be my eyes and ears when I needed her most. She was there to step in and assist when tasks arose, kept us on time, and most of all enchanced my precious moments because she took my stress and dealt with it on my behalf. I knew that hiring Fairy Godmother was well worth it, seeing my mother enjoy herself at my wedding meant the world to me. She and I were able to jointly share precious memories of fun and happiness because we didnt have to focus on little details, we knew that Leticia was 5 steps ahead of us and already around the corner. The next morning my mother was raving on about the wedding and how grateful she was that Leticia was very attentive to not only myself but made a huge effort with making her feel special as well. This is what I refer to as a "true professional". The investment was worth it, and I can look back and confidently say that Fairy Godmother does not make empty promises, but rises to the occasion and surpasses your highest expectation. My fiancé and I are getting married Sept. 1, 2012. I had 12 months to plan our wedding. I thought how hard could it be planning a wedding I can do it on my own. Plus I had heard some people tell me it's not worth getting a wedding coordinator. Also the place we booked our ceremony and reception had a wedding coordinator. Well I was only 3 months away from my wedding date and I was crying at least once a week over all the work I had put into planning our wedding. I was so stressed and ready to call off the wedding and just go on a long vacation. We had problem after problem happen. I could not get a hold of people that I booked for the wedding after I had left my deposits. I had the Pastor cancel on me 3 times and 1 no showed appointment. The DJ would not return our calls for over 3 weeks and no showed to our appointment. My hair lady no showed to my hair trial and went to Vegas. My wedding venue place no showed to our appointment did not return my calls or text message for over a month. My makeup trail cancelled an hour before my bridal shower. The food for the bridal shower, the owner forgot to place the order. The list just goes on and on. At this point my fiancé told me get a wedding coordinator. I told him we don't have the extra funds for a planner we were already over budget. He said it’s not worth you being so stressed out, you are supposed to enjoy planning your wedding. So I called around I left 2 messages with 2 different wedding coordinator. Colleen from Fairy Godmother called me back and took me under her wing. They say they are the day of wedding coordinator’s but she has done so much for us. She would call and set up appointments for me and would talk to vendors that had not returned my calls. She called around to find a hair dresser and videographer. Then she would email me different vendors that were available my wedding date and prices. She has gone above and beyond our expectations and has been there for me for any need or problem

Where do I start?! There is way too much to be said about how Denise and Pam of "FG" saved my wedding day from certain disaster. Denise has been with us from the beginning, nudging us along when we needed it and supporting us and helping us where ever and whenever we called on her. They were so flexible with my insane work schedule, and endured listening to every frustration we had along the way (they even dealt with those frustrations head on!). They recommended WONDERFUL vendors for photography, videography and so much more. However....Where they really came through is at the wedding. When everything *no joke* that could go wrong actually went wrong - they handled it with both the force needed to get things done as well as the grace needed to do it in a way that was appropriate for a wedding.

Anyone who knew all that went on behind the "curtains" so to speak of my wedding knows that without them, my now husband and I would have ended up out in the rain lightning and cold with our guests, starving and mistreated. Unfortunately we were still pretty mistreated as we had a nightmare of a vendor for our venue locations and our catering. Calling them "rude" is putting it politely :) Having a destination wedding comes with its own mess of problems - problems and crappy treatment from a vendor is the LAST thing any bride and her family and guests need on top of it. Just as I can't put into words how amazing Denise and Pam were, I can't put into words how awful the staff at our wedding/reception locations were (with very FEW exceptions). While there were so many more things that could not have been possible without them, I cannot go on. I promise that if you decide to use FG for your event or wedding, you will not regret it! You will think how would we have ever done this without them?! Because seriously - without exaggeration - I don t think I would have had a wedding without them.

My husband and I used Fairy Godmother as our day of wedding coordinator service. Our coordinator was Yessi and she did an amazing job! She made that day completely stress free for myself, my groom and family. I was able to relax that week before knowing that she would contact all of my vendors to make sure everything was set to go for the wedding. It turned out to be my dream wedding and it ran completely smooth thanks to Yessi and her assistant Tiffany. I would definitely recommend Fairy Godmother to anyone who needs a day of coordinator.
