Faunbrook Bed & Breakfast Estate

As parents of the groom, we were guests at Faunbrook, along with the brides parents and bridal party. Lori and Steve were, at all times, professional, helpful and anticipating our every need. They truly understand the business of wedding planning and Bed & Breakfasts, and do it effortlessly, with charm and grace.

The exquisite home, circa 1850 is in good condition and beautifully appointed. The downstairs allowed for easy flow of guests and ample room for the two magnificent breakfasts we enjoyed. The ceremony was outside on the veranda and we utilized all of the house, porches, and gardens with 75 guests.

Our weekend at Faunbrook was like a fairy tale, and Lori and Steve felt like family by Sunday. We would highly recommend it to anyone desiring a traditional wedding in a non-traditional setting. Just beautiful!

One note - I have read the reveiws and must say that no dog was in the house at any time during the weekend.

We wanted a wedding in an outdoor setting, and Faunbrook was the perfect venue. The families of the bride and groom as well as the wedding party arrived at this bed and breakfast two days prior to the Sunday wedding. It was an opportunity to relax, to get to know each other's family better, to wrap up last minute details. We shared the B&B with unrelated guests on our first evening, but the wedding party booked all seven of the rooms for the night prior to the wedding, and we were the only guests the night of the wedding. The bride and groom had a beautiful room for their wedding night.

Our hosts, Lori and Steve, were gracious and permitted us ample space to prepare flower arrangements for the attractive downstairs rooms--the dining room, library, parlor and hallway. The bedrooms were each different and delightfully decorated with antique furnishings, and each bathroom was beautiful and appeared to have been recently updated. Lori provided a wonderful breakfast each morning and made our stay very comfortable.

The wedding ceremony for our June wedding was on the brick patio where chairs were set up for approximately 50 guests. The groom and groomsmen came through the parlor, onto the porch and down to the patio. The bride arrived via a brick path through an arbor. Lori arranged for valet parking for the wedding guests, and provided a list of officiants as well as a list of caterers from which to choose. The caterer, Delightful Desserts and Culinary Creations of West Chester was fabulous, and arranged for the necessary rental equipment: chairs, tables, tableware, etc. Her staff was unobtrusive, efficient and pleasant, and we were completely pleased with the choice of hors d'oeuvers and the luncheon buffet which was set up for self-service in the large dining room. The caterer also provided the wedding cake. Guests ate at tables on the porch and shaded patio, and were free to wander through the downstairs rooms.

This wedding was planned long-distance, and Lori made it very easy to pull it all together. The B&B is a lovely spot, for a wedding or simply a relaxing weekend. I recommend Faunbrook without hesitation.

Faunbrook is a beautiful venue, and Steve and Lori were wonderful. They did everything we asked and even helped out by stopping our processional at a certain time. The only negative we had was the fact that their dog was loose in the house when we arrived and stayed out for a few hours. He was put in the kitchen eventually, but that was where the caterer was preparing the food. The dog was also loose while we were eating breakfast.

Absolutely beautful site. The only, and I do mean only, bad thing was that they have a dog which stays in the kitchen. We have a dog too, but we would never keep it in the kitchen with all the shedding. Other than that, everything was perfect!

I had the pleasure of performing a beautiful, intimate wedding ceremony at Faunbrook - it was just breath-taking!
