I can offer only my highest compliments to chef Raja! Raja catered a 5-course dinner for my wife and myself, following our wedding ceremony on the beach. It turned out to be one of the most excellent dining experiences we've ever had.

Raja is an amazingly talented and creative chef who is passionate about what he does. He has a regular menu of excellent choices or, if you ask, he'll engage his talents to custom design a feast that will blow you away!

Our wedding was months ago and we still rave about our experience. We thoroughly enjoyed Raja's company and cuisine and will definetely be a repeat customer next time we're on Maui. Highly recommended!

My husband and I got married ocean-front on Maui in a beautiful setting on the South Shore. The brunch was catered by Rodger of Tikitorch Productions and the meal was fabulous. The hot stuff was hot and the cold stuff was cold. Everything was beautifully done and delicious. The staff were friendly and professional. I would recommend Tikitorch productions to anyone looking for a memorable event with yummy picture perfect food.

Raja created us an exquisite dinner for two on the beach. Every course was a creative mix of exotic and delicious foods. He put a lot of thought and effort into each course and timed the delivery perfectly. Our only problem was in terms of payment. Our wedding planner gave him our check at the beginning of the meal. Rather than work it out with her he proceeded to interrupt our first course by telling us he couldn't accept an out of state check. We frantically tried to figure out how to pay him as we didn't have enough cash on us. We ended up working it out the next day although it did put a bit of a damper on the meal.

Chef Rodger is Man-tastic! He created a dinner on the beach for our party of 12. The entire event looked like such an occassion. Each part of the meal was very well executed and left our taste buds satified and excited. Really yummy meal! But perhaps the best part was having Chef Raja acting as our host and explaining the elements to us as the night went on. Very cool! All of our guests enjoyed him. =)

It's our pleasure to write this recommendation for Feast on the Beach and Chef Rodger Shortell. Chef Rodger was a big part of what made our day so special!

The table was beautifully set with flowers and candles, and had tiki torches around it in the sand. As the sun set, he blew the conch shell for us, and our amazing dinner began. The meal was spectacular, each course was absolutely delicious and perfectly prepared. Rodger gave us plenty of time to savor each course, including time to take a barefoot stroll and dance under the stars between the entree and the dessert. We felt completely pampered, and it was a perfect way to end our wedding day.

Everyone we met in Maui was great, but there were a few people who really stood out with the "spirit of Aloha" you hear about. Chef Rodger was certainly one of those people.

Aloha Rodger! Thank you so much for yet another amazing dinner experience! And I emphasize "experience" because an evening with "Raja" is so much more than just a dinner.

Two years ago, he put together the most romantic dinner of our lives. Imagine my surprise to find a beautifully arranged table for two nestled alongside tiki torches on the golden sands of Makena beach. Rodger prepared a delicious, gourmet meal for us to enjoy as we watched the gorgeous sunset. Right before dessert, we took a moonlit stroll where Manny got down on one knee and proposed. It was truly a magical night and will always be one of our favorite memories! Rodger is a man of many talents -- not only was he an excellent chef (the unique flavors he creates will tickle your taste buds), he kept us laughing the whole night, serenaded us with a Hawaiian love song, and took beautiful photographs for us to capture all those precious moments. He even pulled a plumeria "bouquet" off a tree for me on our way out (no easy task, it was pretty high up on the tree!).

We ended up buying a timeshare in Maui during that trip. And when we returned two years later, we knew we had to call Rodger! Of course he delivered with another amazing dinner at the our same special spot on the beach. After his Hawaiian serenade, he once again reminded us of his motto "to live life to the fullest, love daily, and laugh out loud frequently." This will hopefully be a tradition for us for years to come. Thanks again Raja, you ROCK!!!

Have you ever had a meal so memorable that you couldn’t stop talking about it? Well I have and all the credit goes to Raja of Tiki Torch Productions/Feast on the Beach. Simply incredible!

Raja provided my husband and me with a delectable 5-course meal on the beach in celebration of our marriage. Every detail was taken into account from the table décor to the lavender water we drank. We opted to forgo the menu and requested that Raja do whatever inspired him at the market that day. He surpassed our expectations with each course. You could taste his passion and love for food in each bite. He’s food is a fusion of exotic flavors from all over the world…nothing over powering, truly tantalizing and delectable. You must try it!

Outside of the food, Raja himself is awesome. He is honestly one of the most genuine, creative and in-tune person we have come across in a very long time. We totally felt pampered and cared for all evening. We had absolutely nothing to worry about. I must say, it was the perfect ending to the best day of my life.

I just wanted to tell you about my wonderful experience with "Feast On The Beach". For our 25th Wedding Anniversary my husband Larry and I wanted to celebrate in a very special way. We decided to reconfirm our love for each other in Maui, HI. We came in contact with Rodger Shortell through word of mouth and he took our anniversary celebration to another level. He listene! d to our wants, needs and concerns and made it all happen that evening. We had approximately 22 guest to attend and they came from all over the country to join us in this wondrous occasion. This was in fact the largest party that Rodger had ever done on the beach, but he was very confident. We decided to go with the 5 course dinner. Not knowing what to expect...we were in awe. We were all impressed with the presentation, performance and professionalism of his work. The food was exquisite and it lacked nothing. We could taste every flavor of each course, leaving our palates curious an very anxious to try the next course. We heard nothing but "yums" and "umms" from each of our guest after each course. We were all very impressed with his punctuality, presentation, performance and most of all his professionalism. He is by far one of the "BEST BEACH CHEFS" in Maui. We make it a point to look up Rodger Shortell whenever we are in Maui....Our trip just wouldn't be complete without a private dinner on the beach with "Feast On The Beach" and RAJA

Excellent Service. Chef Rodger creates the most magnificent recipes and his attention to detail is amazing. I have tried his creations and they are truely the BEST. I highly recommend him.
