Felix the DJ is a great DJ to have at a function. He is very difficult to get in touch with and will only meet at his house which was difficult for us to do because we do not live in the area. He played great music and was able to meet the mood of the party however, he can make your event slightly tacky. If I had known better, I would have made certain arrangements ahead of time with him to ensure that he would not mention to "thank and tip the bartenders" etc. The garter toss was also very awkward as he stood in the way of the photos with his video camera. That was NOT what we wanted. Then he made us do a testimonial at the end of the night. He is a good dj but arrangements need to made ahead of time to ensure that he keeps it professional and fun for the guests.

I just wanted to take a moment and say Thank you. YOU were amazing and everything turned out just perfect. I have to say that everyone there was blown away with you. I heard it all night from my friends and family and still getting phone calls today so again thank you. YES I know " you got this" =). So happy you proved me wrong the one day I panicked.

Overall we were very pleased. Great for international music also.

DJ Felix entertained our guests to the max! All of our guests were on the dance floor the entire time and kept talking about how much fun they had at our wedding. We can not thank DJ Felix enough. He was wonderful and made our wedding so much fun! And we have the pictures to prove it:)

Felix was really responsive, emailed us and called us days before the wedding to make sure that we were all on the same page in terms of the music selections, etc. My husband is spanish so we wanted someone who could mix a little latin flare and do shotouts in and translations in spanish. He brought someone with him who danced in the crowd with the guests and everyone had a blast. We made him stay an extra hour than we had anticipated. We couldn't have picked a better DJ!

Great Party. Which is what we wanted. DJ Felix listened to everything we wanted and didn't want. By far THE best DJ I have ever heard. Everyone at my wedding kept coming up to me saying they wish they would have had Felix as a DJ at their wedding or when they get married DJ Felix is a must. Made our wedding perfect.

Felix was an amazing DJ. I would absolutely recommend him to any bride. Our wedding was an Ecuadorian/American wedding and Felix played the perfect mix of Spanish and American music. He also gave announcements in English and in Spanish which was great for my family members who only speak Spanish. Several of our family members and friends said our wedding had the best music they had ever heard at a wedding. Also, the LED lights were well worth the money!

DJ Felix rocked the house at our wedding with music for English and Spanish speaking guests! Everyone was shocked that midnight came so fast and many people could have stayed another hour or two, easy. Fun to work with and bi-lingual which was nice for our Spanish only guests, they greatly appreciated it.

DJ Felix was exactly what we wanted which was someone who was confident and experienced so we could gave him the reigns to run the show which let us worry less about everything so we could enjoy the wedding! Thank you Felix!

Shame on you and how unprofessional that you would blame the officiant, who was there on time and standing with the grooms men. And the children? Hard to believe they could unplug such heavy equipment.
I choose not to bullet point ALL the issues that took place that night, only respond to your comments. The bride and groom were in their wedding bubble, where they should have been. Unfortunately, you were ill prepared.:(

I highly recommend Felix the DJ! Great MC skills and complete professionalism in the way he handled the music & flow of the event. I also used his company to handle the lighting for the reception, and was really impressed with the service and overall effect. He made sure everyone had a fantastic evening - my guests were dancing all night and didn't want the reception to end.

Felix was wonderful to work with. He met with us twice, once in the inital interview and then a couple of months before the event to go over the details. The ceremony music was great and the music kept everyone on the dance floor! It was one heck of a party! I have family from El Salvador and he played the perfect mix of Latin music. The music was so good that even our grandparents were dancing! His lighting was great as well - the reception hall looked absolutely gorgeous! We couldn't have been happier with him!

They did an exceptional job. Our reception played Arabic & Spanish music from Felix's extensive selection. Couldn't have been happier.

DJ Felix was awesome. He did a great job with introductions and played exactly the style of music we requested during each portion of the evening. We had a Cuban- American wedding and he played the perfect blend of Latin and other types of dance music. He kept the party going all night long and the dance floor stayed packed! He also did the uplighting for our room which looked fabulous! It truly made the ambience of the room. We are SO pleased with our experience with DJ felix and wholeheartedly recommend him. He is a true professional.

DJ Felix did a fabulous job as our wedding DJ. He played the right songs at the right time and kept the dance floor packed all night long playing the best music!

Looking back at pictures, we can tell how much fun everyone had. I've had so many compliments on DJ Felix from our wedding guests. He truly is fantastic. He also did the LED uplighting for our reception and a monogram which were great!

Felix provided nonstop fun and great. Felix provided uplighting for both of our rooms at the Mirror Lake Lyceum and honestly they looked so amazing. Just the right thing to set the tone for the reception. My daughter and her husband wanted a south beach club atmosphere and Felix provided that to a tee. He was easy to work with, always got right back with us and arrived early and stayed late, keeping the dance floor full til the end. One of our guest said that our D.J. was "off the hook"......that pretty mnuch says it all.

My entire wedding went smoothly because of my DJ (DJ Felix). My guests all had a great time and I am so happy I was able to book them for my wedding. Felix was helpful in assisting us on what songs to pick and very fun.

He was able to read the crowd and play songs that would get the party started and keep the party going! Everyone had a blast at our reception. He also mixed the songs together so that they transitioned well instead of just abruptly beginning or ending. His lighting was great as well - the reception hall looked absolutely gorgeous! We couldn't have been happier with him!

Felix was a great DJ. He kept everyone on the dance floor the entire night without playing any line dance songs (one of our requests). He's professional and comfortable on the microphone, which was important for me. He announced the bridal party introductions clearly and with excitement. Each transition into first dances, cake cutting, bouquet toss, etc was executed smoothly.

The lighting he provided really enhanced the look of the space. He knew the best places to put the lights and which areas would be best highlighted.

Had difficult time getting in touch to make appointment, both phone and email . Took 3 attempts to finally meet with him which ended up being a waste of time. My husband provided Fe lix with a detailed playlist both electronically and paper copy. Felix never gave assigned dj the list, so correct music not played at reception. My husband wasted 30 minutes trying to pull up list on computer. Definitely do not recommend!!!

Service was exciting and very professional. The back lighting was awesome too. I would recommend this DJ to anyone.

My husband and I were married in Tampa on October 26, 2010. Our reception was held at Higgins Hall and Felix was our DJ. Felix came highly recommended from several of our other vendors so we had high expectations on our first meeting. We had interviewed several other DJ's prior to Felix, but none made us feel as comfortable and secure as Felix did. He's a very down to earth guy who won't try and sell you up on a package of services you don't need. He takes the time to understand the vibe you're looking for and provides you with insightful tips, recommendations and creative options for your budget and vision. From the planning process before the wedding through the final song at our reception, Felix was top-notch. He was so easy and FUN to work with and did such an amazing job with the uplighting and song selection at our reception. We provided him with our selections for the "first dance", father-daughter dance and mother-son dance and gave him free reign to compile the playlist for the reception. We told him the types of music we liked and what type of mood we wanted to set and he took care of the rest. We were highly satisfied with his service and would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ to play at their event. Our family and friends had tons of compliments after the wedding. They all said how beautiful the lights in the room were and how much fun the dance was. I think the best compliment we received was from a friend who had been to her fair share of weddings and said that the vibe at ours was by far the most fun. She loved that the DJ was professional, full of energy but not cheesy or annoying. And she was so right!! We had a blast! We are so glad we went with Felix!!

Everything was spectacular. The music was modern and Felix was flexible with what he played and this helped keep our guest moving and grooving on the dance floor. Even our older grandparents and some older friends that haven't danced in years were cutting a rug the whole night. We couldn't have asked for anything more. We highly recommend DJ Felix. We didn't have to ask for one thing during the reception. We only had 50 guest and they kept everyone dancing and all the guest had a great time. The DJ was extremely professional and dressed to impress. He even complemented us on our children at the end of the night. I wouldn't have been happy with anyone else being in charge of our "after party". They were AMAZING!!

Felix was recommended by my Photographer's and I must say it was a great recommendation. Felix was easy to work with and listened and payed attention to detail of what we wanted and what we didn't want on our wedding day. He has a great speaking voice as well...our introductions were great!! He had our guest moving on the dance floor and mixed it up so everyone got to hear and dance to what they liked. I would definitely ask Felix to DJ for me at any other special event in the future.

Felix the DJ was awesome! We had a bilingual wedding, English & Spanish. He did an excellent job with not only speaking in both languages but also playing great music for both cultures. Our dance floor was packed the entire night. I think everyone from the reception got on there at least once! We gave him a list a music we wanted to hear prior & he pretty much stuck to it & filled in the gaps wonderfully. I knew every song that was played at my wedding. Thanks Felix!

The Video of our Wedding was terrific. If you did not attend the Wedding you will feel like you did after watching the video. The camera was held still and the Quality was great. I would recommend Felix for your upcoming event.

Felix the DJ was extremely professional and he rocked the house! As the bride, I was on the dance floor the entire wedding!! We hired Felix for this exact reason, to entertain our guests, and he lived up to his reputation! We also did not want the Macarena or the chicken dance and Felix does not play these songs. We highly suggest you book early, because Felix books quickly. Our wedding planner, Candis with Dream Weavers Events highly recommended him and we are so glad we were able to book him for our beach wedding! He did indeed rock the house, the guests and our families are still talking about our wedding and the pictures are just great with everyone dancing!

Felix the DJ was extremely professional. When it was time for dinner he played the right kind of music and when it was time for dancing he kept the guest entertained. Working with him was a great experience, expecially if you're a busy bride and don't have time to 'control' everything. We had a Jewish wedding and without even having to look up which Hora (Jewish song) to play, he already knew!We totally trusted Felix the DJ and so should you!

We booked Felix as our DJ. He was professional when we met and talked with him. We liked that he never plays the cheesy wedding songs like YMCA and the chicken dance. Something came up with Felix because we got Danny instead. But no complaints with him- he kept the party going and followed the agenda well. He was really nice and professional.

Felix played all the songs we requested and provided beautiful lighting. You should consider talking to Felix prior to booking a separate lighting vendor. Felix has the ability to read the group and plays music that appeals to all ages and keeps people on the dance floor. He is able to connect with the crowd, which is necessary for any great DJ. If you want a DJ to make your wedding memorable for your guests, book Felix. FYI - I booked him about 9 months in advance because he books up quickly.

What can I say about Felix - our wedding was that much more special because he was rocking it all night long! My hubby wanted the TAMPA BAY BUCCANEER CANONS, and Felix did it for us! He knows lots of other vendors, including our Greek band "The Islanders" -- the two of them together did a wonderful job at our Nova 535 wedding! I highly recommend Felix!

Felix was very professional and courteous. He listened to our many needs and accomodated them with ease. I would highly recommend Felix as he was very easy to work with. He took our creative ideas and but them to life in a very professional manner. His mixes were hot and he had the crowd hopping all night!! His setups and ligthing fixtures were great. DJ Felix was amazing. He was completely open to the music suggestions I made to him beforehand. At the wedding he was a consummate professional, well spoken, well dressed. He was a perfect DJ, really, he played all of the right music at the right time, read the crowd and had everyone dancing from the beginning to the very end of our wedding. He also sent us a special audio of the toasts which meant the world to me as my only regret was not having them videotaped. So even after the wedding was done, Felix was still working magic! I cannot recommend him highly enough. If you hire him for your wedding or event you will have nothing to worry about. I could not have been happier.

DJ Felix was awesome...my close friends had him do their wedding a few years ago and I got to see him in action. He really keeps people on the dance floor happy - there weren't any dull songs or lulls where people cleared the floor. He kept everyone happy and up and out of their seats. He is phenomenal at what he does and really makes the recepetion...with his help our recepetion was flawless and all of our guests were enjoying themselves. We danced the night away and really had a fantastic night. Felix's was wonderful. We had so much fun it was unreal. The DJ was well liked by all my guests and he really had a nice music playlist. It was not hard to book the DJ and they were very fast at getting back to us with more information about the service they provided. We will never forget our experience with them and they really provided a fun night for everyone.

Felix provided our reception music. He did a wonderful job keeping everyone on the dance floor. We gave a pretty extensive list of songs we wanted him to play and I think he played most of it, but he also incorporated other songs that would get people on the dance floor. One of the best moments was when he played "Jump On It" - everyone got so into it and it was one of my favorite memories. He also recorded our maid of honor and best man's speeches and gave them to us on a CD which was a nice touch, especially since we did not have a videographer. He was on time and ready to go, and he ran the reception timeline very well. I also liked the lighting he brought, which he matched to our color scheme of green.

Our wedding was a success and beyond memorable because of Dj Felix.He was very attentive to all of our request, professional, honest, and his amazing personality made the event. When friends and family mention our wedding they bring up our Dj and how amazing he was. I will recommend Dj Felix for every event we have and to all of our friends.

Always a pleasure to work with Felix. He really has a gift for choosing the right songs and mixing them so there is no lag time between the end of one and beginning of the next. He also brings enough equipment to "bring the house down" and get everybody dancing.

What can I say about Felix that wouldn't sound contrived and fake... because he is that freaking good! If you are looking for a REAL DJ and not just somebody that's going to play songs and be cheesy on the mic, then you need to call Felix. And fast, because he books up fast. Felix makes some of the most unique mixes and keeps the party rockin'. I love working with Felix because he is easy to like and he will keep all of your guests entertained.

I had the pleasure working with Felix he kept the dance floor filled and guest were having fun. If your looking to keep your function moving to the music I would hire Felix the DJ Keep up the great job.

I have known and worked with Felix for over eight years. Felix will provide you with the best mixes and jams to keep your event going with high energy, drawing everyone to the dance floor and keeping them there! You better have a spare pair of shoes!!!

Whenever a client tells me they are wanting their DJ to understand that they are a modern bride and they want a club like atmosphere. I think of Felix. He is absolutely the most fun you can have with a DJ and he will provide the music and talent to choose the tunes that will keep everyone dancing until the the very last moment of the reception. The only disappointment will be that the reception ends way too soon. I would highly recommend his services to anyone looking for a memorable reception. You just can't go wrong.
