My husband and I just got married a couple weeks ago and we couldn't have been happier with the our special day. Jason from Fingerlakes Entertainment was our DJ and he did an amazing job. He was so easy to work with and really put us at ease with everything. He was very organized and really knew what he was doing. Music is a huge part of a wedding and he made the night so much fun. Everyone had a blast and really enjoyed all the music that he played. My husband and I couldn't have asked for a better DJ. Thanks Jason!!

Jason from Fingerlakes Entertainment went above and beyond for our Labor Day weekend wedding. He spent countless time with us going over every detail to ensure that our day was absolutely perfect. Jason also spent time "mashing up" four songs for our father daughter dance and it was more than I ever expected. He did a fantastic job keeping everyone motivated and dancing the entire night. From the minute dinner was over, the dance floor was full until the last song of the night. I would highly recommend not only Fingerlakes Entertainment for any function, but would specifically request Jason!

Jason with Fingerlakes Entertainment made our wedding so much fun! The variety of music and the way everything just flowed was perfect! He got everyone on the dance floor including our 95 year old grandmother! People are still talking about it! The lighting transformed the room into something youd see in a magazine. I would recommend them to anyone if you want to have the best time and an unforgettable wedding! They will make it u and u won't be disappointed!

The music you choose for your wedding can make a huge difference and FingerLakes Entertainment is the best choice in the Finger Lakes area. They have a variety of packages to choose from for all price ranges. They know a lot about how a wedding works, what kind of sings need to be played when etc. etc. They also have an online song database, so you can pick and choose as much of your own music as you need. We also got the photo booth through them and it was really, really fun. If you can afford the photo booth, get it! We, and our guests, had a blast!!!! Our DJ was Eric Lyte and he rocked the dance floor and was really fun and kind. I can't recommend Finger Lakes Entertainment enough. You won't be disappointed.

We got married June 16, 2012 at the Watkins Glen Harbor Hotel. Was the best day of our lives. We had Fingerlakes Entertainment for our uplighting on the wall, the star lighting on the ceiling along with the DJ service. We met with Nathan once when we starting looking for these services, got into the truck and a mile down the road, and said "Why didn't we book him!" We got home and email Nathan and booked his service. We didn't second guess this company at all. Never looked at another DJ service either. This company is very professional and makes it easy for brides and grooms. The online program is easy to use and loved how they take payments online too! Nathan was amazing. Before the day he was very accessible by either phone or email. He was extremely professional, and great value for money. We couldn't have asked for a better dj/mc for our day.

We couldn't have asked for more from Nate and his assistant! In terms of planning, the online planner was great. We were able to fill in our song choices without ever having to think about what 'events' throughout the night we needed to choose songs for. It was also very user friendly. Nate was also willing to meet with us pretty much any day of the week to discuss our plans. Not only that but he met us where we lived and didn't make us travel far. He got lots of information from us so he could determine the type of people we were and the music we liked. Once we met with him, we left feeling confident that we had made a great choice and didn't need to worry about a thing. FLE provided music for the ceremony, which went really smoothly. During the reception, FLE provided the music as well as our name in lights. The name in lights came out beautifully and looked great and bright, even during the day when it was light out. Nate easily read the crowd and chose the right music to keep everyone dancing. We never had to remind him to play something or ask if he could play anything different. His emcee skills were also excellent and he provided the right amount of commentary. I also recommend that you have him make the crowd 'sing for their dinner'. Very humorous and keeps people busy while they wait to get their food. I highly recommend FLE for any event!!!

Eric and his assistant were great to work with! They have an online planner with makes the process so easy. I was able to create a must play/do not play list, schedule of events, etc. through their website. On the day of the wedding, they were able to keep all our guests dancing all night. Everyone had a great time thanks to these two guys!

I couldn't be happier with their service and professionalism. It was a relief to know they would do a great job so that I could enjoy the big day. I would recommend them to anyone!!

Dave was our DJ. We met a few times before the wedding and the week before, he emailed me to ask if we had any changes. We had a pretty major one: our Best Man injured himself and couldn't make it to the wedding! So it threw off the toast and the entrance, we had to come up with a new plan. Dave was great to work with, I was a little stressed the week before and couldn't make a decision on the entrance, so he waited until we were ready to walk in and got all the names down. So Flexible? Definitely.

We opted for some uplighting and upgraded speakers. The uplighting was beautiful and really transformed the room, I'm so glad we went with it.

Dave definitely kept everyone dancing all night long, no complaints there.

There were a few blips that prevented me from going a full 5 stars on quality, but not enough to stop me from whole-heartedly recommending them. In a few weeks I'm sure I won't even remember the blips! Our wedding date was announced as 2010 instead of 2011, oops! He mixed up a few names, but corrected himself as he was saying it. And I requested some Disney instrumental love songs during dinner. I got the Disney love songs...just not the instrumental ones. So I mean, nothing huge, just things I noticed throughout the night. But at the end of the night, we had a great time, due in part with the music Dave was playing. So yes, I would recommend them in a heartbeat.

Being in the wedding coordinating business myself, I came into my wedding planning situation knowing full well how much work goes into a perfect and flawless event! I must say that Nathan and Finger Lakes Entertainment was the most amazing, professional and fun group to work with!!
In my first meeting with Nate I started with "The most important part of the wedding for me is the music, entertainment, and fun!!" (no pressure right!) Adding to the stress was the fact that I live 3,000 miles away in California! I am so happy I had this group in charge of the entertainment aspect of the wedding, they did not just meet my expectations but by far surpassed what I was hoping for!!!
Aside from being the most friendly and comforting people I worked with, all of my complicated requests were handled perfectly and flawless.
Everything from the ceremony music, to the detailed introductions, a first dace song performed by my brother and sister, and keeping the energy going all evening was just absolutely wonderful!!
I cant say thank you enough! From day one I felt at ease and it was one detail of the wedding I never had to worry about!!!

Nathan Baker & his staff were absolutely phenomenal! We received nothing but professional and quality service. Nate was very easy to work with- we live out of town and he was very flexible to accommodate our schedules. He also provided many suggestions that took the guessing out of the planning process which was extremely helpful! We played a couple games during our wedding that Nate suggested such as freeze frame and the love song buffet game and our guests had an absolute BLAST! Everyone of all ages was on the dance floor all night! Our wedding was a success and we attribute that to Nate and his staff :) You can't throw a kickin' party without a ROCKIN' DJ! A+++!!! I would absolutely recommend!

Nathan was amazing at our Ventosa wedding! He is extremely personable and very professional. We met up two different times for a few hours and discussed how we could make our wedding unique - and he had great ideas! He did the sound for our reception on the terrace and everyone heard the ceremony and the music perfectly. In the ballroom, he did a fantastic job of up-lighting with a dynamic system that kept the colors changing. We told him to keep the party going and he certainly did. He ran the show and at the same time wasn't the show. We couldn't have asked for more!

Nathan & Finger Lakes Entertainment WAS INCREDIBLE for our August 20th, 2011 Wedding this summer!!
It was fantastic, he was such a great mc and really made our guests have so much fun! He was so professional, helped us dream up the perfect ceremony/ reception plans, and the up-lighting feature was gorgeous in our ballroom.

I cannot say enough about the service he & his staff did. We had a unforgettable night, and the dance floor was overflowed alll night!

Ahhh...the wedding DJ... few creatures in nature are viewed in the same way as the extroverted and eloquent DJ.. Many people hire their DJ with trepidation, fearing intoxicated MC's, horrible playlists and botched audio. If their wedding goes without a DJ disaster, they are relieved..

With Nathan and Finger Lakes Entertainment, those fears, misconceptions, and horror stories are banished from your mind the minute that you meet him. When we first sat down with Nathan it was obvious that this was a man who was a master of his craft. He was laid-back yet eager to make our event perfect. Questions that he has undoubtedly answered a million times before he answered without any aire of disdain. We were able to fill an online playlist with DOs and DONTs (the DONTs are important!! No chicken dance..arghh!!!), and when the event came he and his crew were as calm and collected as anyone on the property. I almost would have rather had him organize the whole wedding!!

I could go on for many more paragraphs, but the fact of the matter is, this company and this man will represent the very best you will be able to find in the area. It is worth a few extra dollars to have the piece of mind that Nathan offers. We did not worry about our music at all! One face to face meeting, one phone call and everything was set, and we didnt even feel like we needed more. Do yourself a favor, meet with him and see for yourself.

Nathan Baker, owner of Finger Lakes entertainment was wonderful! My wedding was on a Sunday afternoon, with a reception at 4:00 and Nathan was able to motivate my guests and get them dancing! He was extremely professional and was able to make the afternoon turned to evening flow very smoothly. Nathan is the real deal and I would recommend him to everyone looking for that extra something on their wedding day!

Up until about 3 months before our wedding we thought we would have an ipod wedding so we could save money, avoid cheesy wedding music and announcements, and make sure we could have an eclectic playlist going all night. As the planning got more stressful and the reality of hosting a party of about 100 friends and family got more real, I realized we'd need a DJ to make sure the audio equipment would work smoothly and to help coordinate the event. Nathan, the owner of Fingerlakes Entertainment absolutely exceeded our expectations and we couldn't have pulled off our wedding without him! The lapel and hand mics during our ceremony made us sound natural, yet audible to the guests and he made sure our slightly offbeat ceremony music worked perfectly for our brief ceremony. He made sure guests knew what was going on and moved where they needed to for cocktails, dinner, etc. and kept the event flowing in a way we NEVER could have done on our own! He didn't bat an eye when I send him an absurd playlist that was incredibly long and contained more than a few non-traditional wedding songs and he was ready play them in just a few short days. The day of the wedding the temperature was hovering around 90 degrees and Nathan never let any discomfort show, though we all were incredibly hot. It's a testament to his skills that despite the weather, the outdoor dance floor was packed the entire night! He also helped so much with the planning in terms of the schedule of the wedding and how best to introduce divorced parents and their new partners and have a wedding that just felt all around comfortable to us. He completely honored all of our requests in terms of the tone of the event and our song requests. He was willing to get in touch at just about any hour and also to communicate via text. His website is great with tons of interactive planning features and also, the bottom line is that his prices are extremely reasonable. I just can't say enough how much using Fingerlakes Entertainment absolutely MADE our wedding!!!

Jason B was the best wedding DJ ever!!
From the start Jason was organized and professional. He scheduled regular phone check-ins starting about a year before the wedding. He regularly checked our online planner, and was great about finding music that we asked for.
My maiden name isn't easy to pronounce and my wedding party was full on international flair...Jason called my husband and practiced pronouncing everyone's name until he got it right! It may seem like a no brainer, but having been to weddings where the brides name has been butchered, it was just one more thing that sets Fingerlakes Entertainment above the rest!
My parents also requested that he play some traditional Ghanaian music-- we handed Jason CD's during cocktail hour and by the time the reception had reached full swing he was able to flawlessly integrate the music with contemporary songs! It was awesome and something my entire family appreciated tremendously!
He was able to manage sound systems in different rooms-- we dined and had speeches in one room and then had dancing and dessert in another. There was never an interruption with the sound and everything went off without a hitch.
In addition to amazing music, Jason set up an amazing up-lighting display in the room where we had the reception. It was amazing. The colors matched our wedding colors and made the room (think concrete and wood) come to life and look warm and inviting.

We couldn't have asked for a better DJ! I would use them again for any major party and if I could get married again-- I would hire Jason in a heart beat!!

Nathan was not our first choice only because we were a much older couple bride and groom (in late 30s) and we thought he probably catered to a much younger crowd and couple in their 20s. However, I believe in fate as the DJ we decided on us (who was much older), his son was getting married on the same day we were...Actually, Nathan was MY first choice and he came highly recommended by our wedding coordinator at the hotel we got married in - the Watkins Glen Harbor Hotel which just received it's 4 start AAA rating. He provided professionalism, expertise and great recommendations. After months of planning a wedding, the last thing you have time to do is to remember all the cool songs for the different events during the reception. My guests came up to me and said 'great choices' for the bride/groom activities/songs. Many was his idea as he has MC many weddings. Of course, you do not want cookie cutter so we did have some unique ones for our wedding...the majority was his suggestions. He works with you on many fronts. Since he is our MC - I asked him to work with the other vendors, the photographer, videographer and wedding coordinator at hotel for schedule...and he also put together a nice photo slideshow....he had to do a few takes because I gave him too many pictures! Not his fault but my...he told me how many but I gave him more than he requested for. Again, he knows what works. His professionalism and candiness is superb. He understands our 'corny' and 'quirky' side - even though we are older, we love to have fun. We danced all night long...even our guests who never danced came up and danced. The liighting he provided was great. We had the Seneca Package and added a few items....DVD slide show, name in lights and uplighting...If you cannot afford all of it, just get the uplighting - it really does transform a room... We are a very satisfied customer. The only recommendation for change I have for Nathan is to fix his automatic email system. He agree that sometimes, it sends email out of sync. It is automatic so you may get an email from Nathan and one from his server...confusing sometimes...'didn't I just talk to you?'... Thanks Nathan - I was a sweaty bride for dancing all night, my guests said that they had the most fun at our wedding...most elegant and most fun wedding ever (the guests said!)

Can I give them 6 stars instead of 5? So glad we went with this dj for my daughters wedding. On top of being dependable and professional, they were so helpful in calming frayed nerves. We felt so much better after meeting with them and felt secure leaving it in their capable hands. The lighting that they provided and we decided to go with added one more special touch. Couldnt have been happier. Advice: dont skimp on your dj. They keep the party going.

Nathan was great at our wedding. Even when there was a slight equipment malfunction (due to iphones) he found a quick solution and kept on going. All our guests had a great time. Ours was the second wedding in less than a year DJ'd by him and we'd recommend him in a heartbeat. It was especially nice that he traveled all the way to Maryland to do ours.

My husband and I could not be more thrilled that we went with Fingerlakes Entertainment. Our reception was more fun than we ever dreamed it would be, and this in huge part to our DJ and Fingerlakes Entertainment owner, Nathan Baker. Our guests danced ALL NIGHT, and so did we; the soles of my ballet flats were peeling away when I examined them the next morning! Countless guests have commented on how much fun they had, how much they danced, and how great our DJ was.

Funny story, but it turns out that Nathan was the DJ at my cousin and her husband's wedding 5 years ago. I had no idea until the night of our wedding, when Nathan recognized them and vice versa. But I always remembered their wedding as one of the best I've been to... and I always gauge this by how much I danced, and how much I enjoyed the music.

I was looking for a DJ who was professional and not "cheesy" (no gold chains, tacky lighting, or heavy MC'ing, please!) and Fingerlakes Entertainment kept coming up again and again. From my initial conversation with Nathan, to our sit-down meeting, Nathan was nothing but professional, kind, and helpful. He understood our style & what we were looking for right away, and I felt confident from our first phone conversation that he would provide exactly the kind of service we wanted. He was also familiar with our venue and offered sound advice on what we'd need to maximize the acoustics.

Really, I could go on and on. Thank you, Nathan, for helping to create a magical, unforgettable evening!

We couldn't have asked for anything more!! Nathan was absolutely wonderful. He really understood our taste in music (rock music) and found a way to work it into the night so that we heard everything we wanted to yet everyone still got to dance all night long. The ease of the online song request was a big bonus for us as well since this was a destination wedding. Nathan truly made our night and I can't imagine anyone would have come close!

Nate Baker from Finger Lakes Entertainment was fantastic! We had some what of a destination wedding and no wedding planner and did the majority of the organizing over the phone and through emails. Jason of Fingerlakes Entertainment was just fantastic. He worked with us from day 1 to make our reception into just the party we hoped for. We worked together to form a diverse playlist that entertained our whole crowd...and yes, we had a Do Not Play list which we highly recommend. He was also very helpful in designing fun and entertaining introductions, dances, cake cutting, ect.
What set Jason apart in our opinion was that he did not blabber on the mic all night and make the party about him. Some DJs seem to be much more interested in being an MC than a DJ, and we were pleased to see that Jason made the night about us and the music. We would would absolutely recommend Fingerlakes Entertainment to any couple planning a wedding. You'll get a personalized party that will keep you and all your guests dancing the night away.

We enjoyed Fingerlakes Entertainment and Nathan was very impressive but I wished I heard more songs that I put together. I'm a huge fan of music and I gave him songs that I wanted to hear at our wedding. I understand that he had to cater to the crowd which was mixed. He had the crowd moving but I should've marked the songs that I really wanted to hear. He did make sure to play all the songs I wanted to hear during the cocktail and dinner hour.
It was a magical wedding and we were glad we chose Nathan and Fingerlakes Entertainment.

Nathan and his crew were phenomenal! I told them what I had in mind for lighting and they made that room glow beyond my expectations. I trusted them to come in and work their magic and they did! Their online payment system allows you to pay in full in advance so there's no added stress on your big day. I would use Fingerlakes Entertainment's services again and again!

What a great job Nathan and his team did at Fingerlakes Entertainment. We were worried that with only 75 guests that we would have a hard time keeping people on the dance floor, and we were totally wrong. Nathan played a great selection of music that got everyone up and moving including our 3 sets of grandparents!

We loved the personal touch of our monogram in lights and the pop that the uplighting added to the dining area. Nathan also did a great job leading the New Orleans wedding traditions that we had, including a 2nd line in which the guests paraded around our venue which was great. Our favorite thing that Nathan did was personalize our wedding party introductions - they were personal, funny and very creative - one of our guests commented and thought that Nathan was one of our good friends since he did such a good job on the intros.

Was a great time, my favorite wedding I had ever performed. I have been to many weddings and this one definitely was a fantastic time made possible by all the great staff, and great people. I only wish they could keep getting married to each other so I could attend more times.

They were the best DJ EVER!!!!! Totally accommodated all my requests, made a very memorable video for my father daughter and mother son dance, the lighting was amazing! I will use them for my other parties and highly recommend them for friends.

We cannot say enough about Nate and his team....from day one they listened to what Matt and Maria wanted and they truly became our friends! For us Nate kept the party going all night, there was not an inch of space on the dance floor - incredible!!! He made our daughter's wedding one for the record books!!!

All my husband and I can say, is that there would have been no better DJ to be found in Upstate New York, Nate listened to what our children wanted, he delivered a high energy evening filled with fun and left an impression on all of our guests - He would be the only one I would call again!!!!

Nate is a definite step above any other 'part-time' DJ's as this is his main business and he devotes his full focus to it. He was very professional, easy to work with, and was great as our emcee! We highly recommend him!

The dance floor was packed all night long, starting even during the dinner hour. Both Jason and his assistant were very involved with the flow of the evening and were responsive to our guests! We had great fun and didn't have to worry about anything! be sure to give songs that you like and have meaning to you and your guests and let Nathan do the rest as he is professional and knows what the "atmosphere" is like. I had many comments on how nice the music was for our group. He also kept the party going..I didn't worry a bit on how it was going to be handled.

Fingerlakes Entertainment did a wonderful job not only emceeing our wedding, providing music during dinner, dance music after dinner and karaoke services but was also able to set-up sound for our ceremony in a different location than originally planned last-minute, allowing our large number in attendance to hear the entire ceremony, no matter how far away they sat.

We also felt that the omission of the light show originally included in the DJ package that we chose in favor for karaoke in its place was a real success, and we have been told by many of our guests that they had a wonderful time!

I worked with Jason Brewer at Fingerlakes Entertainment and he did a FANTASTIC job! He was very laid back, friendly and professional. He listened to what my husband and I wanted for our reception and then he made suggestions that went along with our vision. He had a lot of wonderful and unique ideas and he never pressured us into anything. In the end our reception was exactly what we had hoped for. It was very tasteful and classy but tons of fun, too! He played great music without a lot of the cheesey standards you sometimes get with DJs. We had a blast, our guests had a blast, and people are still commenting on what a great job he did. Working with him was one of the least stressful aspects of planning our wedding.

The gentlemen at Fingerlakes entertainment were great. We spent hours talking over the phone about our event and Jason had some great selections that helped make the decision process much easier. Jason was available for phone calls and emails when we needed to change things the day before. We were pleased that those changes were made and executed for the event! In addition, he was able to take special requests from our guests that kept them happy. All the while he was smiling with us the whole night, enjoying the celebration with us!

Nathan was fantastic to work with! He anticipated our every request and was happy to provide whatever we wanted. Truly professional, yet he had the crowd up and dancing without ever being obtrusive. Thanks for a very memorable wedding reception!

Nathan was not only professional and organized at all times, he was a lot of fun to work with. He has a great sense of humor and a wonderful personality which carried through in his work on our Wedding day. Nathan did more than just provide a great service at an exceptional value, he went above and beyond by personalizing the music to truly fit what we wanted for our multi-cultural wedding by playing and successfully mixing a variety of Hindi, Punjabi, and English music. And, he truly impressed our guests; we had more than a dozen compliments about our awesome DJ throughout the night. Nathan and his crew exemplify the kind of professionalism and personal touch one hopes for when seeking out entertainment that your wedding guests will be sure to remember. We ran into some weather snafus and a last-minute double booking at our reception site (Don't get me @#&*ing started) and FLE adjusted on the fly without a hitch. A big thumbs up for their setup and adaptability. We loved the songs; the mood they helped us create; the layout, which was perfectly small enough to accommodate our tight space; and we had the foundation shaking by the night's end (literally--which serves the venue right). I had the pleasure of speaking with Nathan numerous times prior to our big day and he and his staff kept me completely at ease and excited for what they had in store for us. They certainly didn't disappoint. Everyone had a wonderful time and agreed that the music played an important part of that.

Fingerlakes Entertainment made my wedding day phenomenal! From the moment I met Nathan, I could sense his energy and passion for the industry - he was knowledgeable, professional, and extremely charismatic. He had a clean and modern setup inclusive of LED lighting, a projector screen and even had music videos! I received so many compliments on the music selection as well as the setup. My husband and I were married at Ventosa Vineyards in Geneva NY on July 18th. Fingerlakes Entertainment provided the music for both the ceremony and the reception and we could not have been any happier with the professionalism and quality of music that we received. Fingerlakes Entertainment is incredibly easy to work with. Our calls and e-mail were always returned in a very reasonable amount of time. Nathan was wonderful to work with and was very flexible in meeting with us before hand to discuss details. Everything was done very professionally the night of our wedding. And best of all the price was fantastic!!!

Nathan was great, he was willing to accommodate our oddball song requests, and really was key to tying the guests together. It was the best wedding I've been to (being it was mine), and Nathan will be DJing for my sister-in-law's wedding this spring as a result of his performance at ours.

Music was great and the lighting was great. We had our guests create part of the playlist through our website, and they rounded it out nicely with similar styles and songs. Very happy with their services.
