Firefly on Paradise
Firefly was more than perfect! Firefly on Paradise is in the middle of relocating to a new location, two buildings over from it's current location and our party was held in the new building. I will admit to some trepidation when we walked into the new space two days prior to the wedding and there were boxes everywhere and it was clearly still under construction. The banquet coordinator Araceli was quick to assure us that it wouldn't look like this when we arrived for the reception and showed us the space for the dinner. She was attentive and we could really tell that she wanted everything to be perfect for us. She even made some suggestions that we wouldn't have thought of including setting up a small lounge space with couches in the room for people to mingle and relax in and a change to a menu item that might not have worked as well for our party (and we're so glad we made the switch!).
Because of the constructions, we actually had the whole space to ourselves. It was great and the new space is gorgeous. Firefly is going to be packed every night when then complete the move to the new building. My photographers were so inspired by the space we even did some photos after dinner in the main restaurant. It was fantastic bonus being able to use the whole space.
The food and drinks were phenomenal. We ordered the Four Course Family Style Catering Menu and then added some additional tapas.
I can't say enough good things about the food. There was so much of it too! Honestly, I was too full to even eat dessert but I'm told it was delicious though. Our guests couldn't say enough good things about the food and about how stuffed they were! The bartender was great too. We ordered 2 hrs of open bar. The service was fantastic too, going out of their way to ensure my guests with food allergies were accommodated, clearing empty glasses and plates quickly. I was so please with the service and experience. I can't wait to go back to Firefly again
Note: This review is for Firefly on West Sahara.
We recently had our wedding rehearsal dinner at Firefly. We were seated in the private room in the back. Everything about the dinner was fantastic. The food was exquisite, the drinks were phenomenal (love the sangria), the service was outstanding (thanks Michael), and the setup was great. We can't say enough nice things about this place. Everyone kept commenting on how unique it was to have our rehearsal dinner there. All the food was so delicious, but I particularly liked the chicken salad and my wife loved the ham and cheese croquettes. But really, you can't go wrong with any of the food there. Also, the coordinator Tiffany was very helpful and answered all the questions I had. I really recommend this place if you're looking for a unique and fun venue for your wedding rehearsal dinner.
We are a big fan of Tapa's and in going away to get married we regretted not being able to use our favorite restaurant's private party area. We didn't want to risk a caterer and traditional reception venue since we only had a day in town before the wedding and my parents were chefs Im picky on food.
We were happy we found Firefly in our planning. The reviews are correct. As a tapa's option Firefly did not disappoint. The food was excellent and they were able to accommodate our small party in an area away from the usual restaurant patrons that allowed us a little more intimacy. I recommend the Manchego Mac and Cheese. It was to die for. We look forward to going back as a couple just for a regular vacation dinner.
When in Vegas, DRINK and EAT! This is a great tapas restaurant. The prices are good - especially for Vegas - and the food was exceptional. The drinks were really good, too. =) I will definitely be back on my next trip to Vegas.
