Unbelievable. One of my biggest concerns for my wedding was having so many people from different cultures and wanting to have the best music for all of them. From traditional Mexican music, rock-en-espanol, to 80s and funk, Marcel and Luis did an AMAZING job. The dance floor was persistently packed. The flow was perfect and they were completely professional. I can't say one negative thing about the entire experience. I will definitely recommend them to all my friends and family.

You wouldn't believe how many compliments we recieved from friends and family about how good our wedding was and that was mostly thanks to our DJ, Marcel. When we first contacted Marcel, we met up and set up an itinerary together. My fiance and I were not sure how the wedding reception should go, but Marcel guided us through it all and in the end we planned out a great party. We were able to do all the wedding things within the timeline we had set and more lmportantly, within the flow of the party. Marcel allowed us to choose the music genres we liked and even made suggestions for us. With that he created an awesome playlist that kept everyone on the dance floor. The dance floor was mostly full the entire night and that is the best indication of how much fun everyone was having and how good the music was. The most important thing about Marcel's services is that not only did he play great music, but he acted as the "MC", making announcments and introductions for us throughout the entire night. Marcel and his partner come highly recommended for anyone looking for great entertainment!

FirstChoiceDJs exceeded our expectations. From our first meeting with Marcel we knew we were dealing with someone who was professional. I am very picky about music, and my husband and I have very eclectic taste. At our initial meeting Marcel, he knew how to read us, in terms of style. He found ways to incorporate our love for rock and classical music into our ceremony. My husband walked down the aisle to Metallica, and it was tastefully done with style and grace. As an emcee, we couldn't have asked for more. He made sure our reception ran smoothly. The music transitions were smooth. The announcements were made with elegance and style. And we treated us like royalty. He was kind enough to make sure we were taken care of (getting us punch when we were thirsty before the reception started, getting me a cool towel to get the sweat off my face). As a bride and a former wedding planner, I didn't have to give him a lot of instruction. He knew exactly what to do and when to do it. I didn't have to worry about anything. The music and entertainment at our wedding was just wonderful - no complaints from either of us. We have gotten good feedback especially on the string quartet music that was played during our pre-cermony. I think that without Marcel's guidance I would have been in la la land the whole time. I have hired Marcel on a couple of events that I have had before and each time went off without a problem. Marcel does the extra stuff that just comes out of his heart. I had him DJ at my wedding in Sept 07 and he just took care of each tiny detail and stayed calm through the whole thing, he took pictures for people who couldnt, escorted people where to go at the hall talked to everyone and took the time to see if they needed any assistance that he could be of help and also played music at the same time and took care of requests at that very moment. It touched my heart when I seen him pushing my father who is in a wheel chair to the mens room. Im sorry I have never met any type of DJ to do the kinds of things I just mentioned, its those things that will always make me hire Marcel to do another and another event for me in the future. He is the most professional person I have had to pleasure to work with. I HIGHLY recommend his company to anyone who is looking to get the quality, efficency, professionalizm work they have paid for. Honestly, there are absolutely no complaints about your services that day. You and your partner did such an excellent job. As the bride, I can state that I was at ease with having you by my side. Your prompt attention made my day so much more relaxed. I remember that there was not one minute you were not there to make sure that I was ok; from me needed a drink to passing out the favors. I could have not asked for a better DJ/coordinator. Till this day our family and friends have told us that our DJ service was excellent, and that our wedding was so much fun because of the music selection. Hearing those comments has made my Husband and I so happy; just knowing that our wedding has not been forgotten makes us realize that we had a great wedding. We just booked Marcel for our August wedding. Marcel is just awsome! He truely loves this and is very professional about the product he provides. Marcel was very flexible when meeting my Fiance and I and ran through an outline durring our consultation and sampled and mixed some music right there in the consult. Kind of a preview and it was wonderful. With Marcel you truely can't go wrong. With first Choice DJ's you know what you're getting, Marcel and his assistant, music, lights and all the bells and wistles for a flat rate. None of this nickle and diming business or choosing from package A, B C or otherwise. What you see is what you get and with Marcel you get way more than your moneys worth!

First Choice DJ's was great to work with and provided excellent service. They arrived on time, were prompt at replying to my emails during the planning phase, and played all the requested music that we provided to them. If it wasn't for marcel with first choice DJ my wedding would have been nightmare! He made sure people were announced and the ceremony and reception flowed without a hitch due to his organization and getting my guests to each place they were supposed to be. I have even had two friends that have attended the wedding ask for his information for their weddings. I had no idea what songs I wanted but I knew the kind of atmosphere I wanted, thank god for Marcel because when we met with him he put together a song list that was amazing. I also made many changes up to the last minute about the music for the ceremony and not only did he have it all together he actually had to remind me of my choices. So I would hire him and his crew again and again. They were flawless, professional and one of the best hiring decisions I made for my wedding.

On our wedding day, just over two months ago, things could have taken a turn for the worse when our wedding coordinator was suddenly nowhere to be found. However, Marcel effortlessly and smoothly took control of the reception. He made sure everything moved along gracefully, but at the same time he was very low-key and unobtrusive every time he had the microphone.
Overall, he plays exactly the music you ask him to, he has a great understanding of music, and he is a very gracious and low-key mc who will keep the reception flowing smoothly, but at the same time doesn't make his presence known any more than it needs to be.

Marcel was very easy to get along with. He was very good at following up any questions I had. Prior to the wedding I had emailed a list of song requests that my guest had. I made sure he had all the songs requested and he assured me that it was not a problem. There were about 70 songs on the list. And he only played a handful of them. Which upset me because I had specifically asked my guest on the RSVP for their favorite song. Another time he asked our guest to join us for a dance because the song was a special song for the bride and groom. The song was Ribbons In The Sky by Stevie Wonder. It would be nice if I had even heard the song before. Until that night, that was the first and only time I have ever heard that song. Both DH and myself had this really confused look on our faces. DH and I also had a Chinese tea ceremony at the reception. So we had him read a little history on the tea ceremony for the people that did not know what we were doing. Well he read everything with no problem. Mind you we did not request any music to be played during the ceremony. As to our surprise when the ceremony started he started to play this Asian instrumental music. DH and I were like WTF is he playing! After the tea ceremony ended I over heard him one of my guest that he was looking all over for music and found it on the soundtrack for Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon. If I had to do my wedding over again, I would defiantly not have gone with Marcel.

On my wedding day the quality of service that I received from First Choice Dj's were the best. Marcel paid attention to every detail in the wedding. OMG! I'm sorry it's taken us a while to get settled back into things. We were gone for 2 weeks and now it's back to work.

We honestly can't thank you enough! You truly were the glue that held our reception together. I suppose something happens at every wedding. You were amazing! From the pep talk in the board room to get the tables straightened out, to the last dance of the night you kept things flowing. from what our guests told us, it looked like everything was running smoothly. Hi Marcel, I hope that this e-mail finds you well. We're terribly sorry that we are just getting back to you; don't think that we forgot about you it is just that unfortunately when we got back from our honeymoon we found ourselves faced with the unfortunate news that my grandmother was seriously ill. She is currently still struggling to get better, but is at least out of ICU and in stable condition. With that being said, things have been very hectic to say the least. In times like these it has been nice to think back on our wedding day and remember how fortunate we were to have our family there to celebrate with us, which also makes us realize that we were very luck to work with great vendors such as yourself and your assistant.



We really cannot begin to tell you how grateful we are to you for everything that you did for us before and during that day...YOU ARE AWESOME!!! To this day we are still hearing compliments from friends and family members about you. I cannot even tell you how many times we have heard "what an awesome DJ you had," "great music," "I loved how your DJ was attentive of everything," "your DJ had such an awesome personality; it was so great how he interacted with the crowd" and the list goes on. In our opinion you were more that a DJ, you were coordinator, timekeeper, problem solver, assistant...you were a little bit of everything. In other words you were everything that we needed, and you always seemed more than happy to help us. You may be surprised to know that something that has stayed with me is that I remember going around the room and greeting our guest and feeling that we were going to die of thrust, only to turn around and see you there holding drinks for Jesus and myself.
