First Choice Travel and Cruise

I originally was working with LaMacchia Travel Agency in Kenosha, and felt as though I was getting nowhere with them. Having met Pat Weber from Firstchoice travel & Cruise at a bridal show, I decided to email her regarding questions w/ my destination wedding I wanted to plan. Within 24-48hours she was able to get me the resort I wanted to go to, and a wedding date. I couldnt believe it, since I had been literally waiting several weeks, actually almost 2 months, to get a response from that resort with LaMacchia travel. The travel agent there was trying to get us to go with Iberostar, and I had my heart set on Ocean Blue & Sand in Punta Cana. With that being said, I called up the travel agent from LaMacchia and told her I no longer needed her services. Pat Weber took care of all my wedding, travel needs for myself and all 29 of my guests. She was great. My wedding was perfect!!!

My husband and I worked with Tana from First Choice Travel and Cruise for our wedding this past January. Choosing a travel agent was harder than one would think and I believe it makes a big difference in the overall planning of a destination wedding. We worked with 3 other agencies before we met Tana and we are so thankful we didn’t settle. Tana was an absolute pleasure to work with and really went above and beyond for us. We traveled with 43 guests that she booked. More than just taking care of our travel arrangements, Tana became in so many ways my wedding coordinator. We were in constant contact from the time we met until the moment we left for the wedding. She helped my husband and I decide on a destination, resort… (We were literally all over until we met her) she aided us in deciding a date, time for the wedding and soo much more. When I say she went above and beyond for us, she certainly did.. from booking our flights to making our spa appointments for our hair the day of the wedding. She was my lifeline and such a godsend during the planning of not only a wedding, but a wedding that was in another country. She has a lot of experience as she’s worked with plenty of destination weddings, had a destination wedding of her own and has traveled to so many of the countries we were looking into. During the year we planned our wedding we booked a girlfriend getaway to Vegas thru her and she surprised us with a limo transfer! We appreciate everything she did for us and anyone who has the opportunity to work with her is quite blessed! We certainly feel so!

Our destination wedding in Punta Cana was a huge success! We were on a budget, and Tana helped us find a resort that would not only meet my expectations as a bride for my wedding, but also keep the cost down for both us and our guests. We could not be happier with how it all turned out, and our family and friends are still talking about their trip. Thanks again Tana!

I was amazed at how knowledgeable and helpful the staff at First Choice Travel and Cruise were. There are different rules for marriage in other countries that we had no idea even where to begin. The travel agents gave us great advise and a walk through step by step. We felt very comfortable talking to the agents and you could tell they really knew each destination. We also thought it was helpful learning the first hand experiences from the agents as well as past wedding couples. This advise helped make our decisions for our dream wedding!

First Choice Travel and Cruise was great to work with. We had a destination wedding and needed a travel agent to help us pick a location, hotel and help everyone book and keep everything organized. We had the pleasure of working with Mary and she did a fantastic job. She was always professional, easy to work with and quick to respond. She met with us to help us pick a location and hotel and we did all other corresponding over phone and email since we did not live nearby. She helped us to find a great resort and followed through from beginning to end. She made sure everyone was getting everything in when they needed to, she followed up with people and sent helpful reminders and information. She had me CC her on all my emails with the wedding coordinator at the resort to make sure everything was going well and I was getting all of the help I needed. They set up a web page for your guests so that they could easily find any information they needed. We will definitely be going back to First Choice travel and cruise for future vacations, we were thrilled with the prices they got us and how helpful and friendly they were. Planning a trip for 30 people is difficult and they made it easy and stress free. I would definitely recommend them to anyone, especially if you are having a destination wedding.
