What issues I had were resolved and Amy was accommodating and went above and beyond to help me resolve other vendor issues.

We hired First Comes Love for their "Day of" package. The title is an understatement--they were more like a month of coordinator. They coordinated everything with our vendors, recommended a DJ, bakery, alterations, and rental company--all of which gave us discounts because we were using her. We saved close to what her fee was just in the discounts from other vendors! Lindsay was there on the day of our wedding and she ensured everything went smoothly. She was by far the best money we could have ever spent on our wedding!

First Comes Love did an AMAZING job coordinating our wedding at the San Diego Hilton Bayfront. Their initial communications with us and all our vendors set the tone and really made us feel like they were in control and on top of things. Lindsey, our on-site coordinator, was understanding and accommodating the entire time while running the details with a level head. Our rehearsal, wedding ceremony and reception went off without a hitch and we enjoyed ourselves tremendously while partying with our friends and family. They even take care of the details you couldn't possibly remember to think about, such as gathering gifts after the reception. We give First Comes Love, Amy and her team FOUR thumbs up and wholeheartedly endorse them. Look no further--this is YOUR wedding coordinator!

My husband and my primary reason for getting a coordinator was so that we didn't have to worry about anything the day of and we could just enjoy our day. It was successful in the fact that we got to just enjoy our day - but it wasn't great. A few examples - we were told they mostly eat before and after the event or snack on something here and there so that they can pay attention to us - great - but at one point my husband and I were just standing there waiting to be told what was supposed to happen next. They had told us that in about 5 minutes we were going to be cutting the cake and doing toasts so after about 5 minutes we stood over by the cake area and then looked around and no one could find them - they were ALL sitting down playing on their phones and giggling and eating. They did a fantastic job setting all the decorations up and I would have been stressed if they weren't there - but it just wasn't anything special - like we were told they would be.

First comes loves is INCREDIBLE! They are so helpful, sweet, organized, and overall just AMAZING! There are not enough words to explain how incredible first comes love is! I was so impressed with how diligent Amy was in responding to any questions I had. The team that I had on the day of the wedding was so amazing. Lindsay was in charge and she was so organized and made sure everyone was where they needed to be when they needed to be there. My guests were to impressed with how the wedding just flowed together and how perfect it was. Thank you so much first comes love, you were the best investment!

Amy was always quick to respond to any and all of my questions and concerns. Our wedding was a destination wedding and she was extremely helpful!!! I couldn't have pulled it off without her! There was some confusion the week of the wedding with the timeline and vendors but ultimately I had the PERFECT wedding! One disappointment -- at the end of our wedding we would have preferred to clean up ourselves after our guests left.(the wedding was at an estate we were renting). Unfortunately, food/drinks were disposed of when our guests were still with us .

I cannot recommend First Comes Love enough! We chose the month-of wedding planning package, and Amy was so incredibly helpful. There are so many vendors in San Diego, and she helped us by picking out 3-4 vendors per category based on our price range to help us narrow down our choices. She more than made up for her fee by recommending vendors that were so much more valuable than their price. The photographer and videographer were both about 1/3 of the cost of most in San Diego. She answered every single one of my questions in a timely manner. On the day of our rehearsal, she led us all through the ceremony and, since it looked to be a rainy day for the ceremony, went over our game plan in case of inclement weather. It was good she did, because it poured! She had a great solution (we moved the ceremony inside at Bali Hai, whereas it was supposed to be outside), and any other little issues that came up throughout the wedding day she had solutions for. During the reception, my dress got stepped on, and she was there with safety pins for a quick fix! I have no bad things to say, and I would recommend Amy and her team to anyone and everyone!

Amy is organized and detail oriented. She handles everything with calm and enthusiasm. I was so thankful for her work on the day of the wedding. She handled it all.

Amy is literally amazing. Could not have asked for anything more - from helping get last-minute rain plans under control (which we ended up not needing!) to sewing the button back on my fiance's coat, to dealing with my mother (not easy)... she made everything as close to perfect as we could have ever asked for! We worked almost exclusively with vendors she recommended and every single one of them delivered above and beyond. I'd recommend her to anyone and everyone :)

From the first meeting that we had with Amy, we hit it off from the start. She asked important questions about what we had in mind for our wedding. She walked us through the whole process. She is always quick to respond and it very helpful and organized. She really does listen and knows how to guide a bride to her vision. She was awesome at making sure that we were on our budget. Vendors love working with her as much as I did. I am going to miss my monthly checklists. This made the whole process feel easy!

The day of the wedding was truly AMAZING! Amy was with us the whole day and made sure that we were on time and everything ran smoothly. I would highly recommend Amy. You will love her!

We knew Amy was the perfect fit from the first meeting, not only is she pleasant and patient, she is professional, hard working and always on top of it. I could not have survived this wedding planning process without her!! Everything went smoothly and perfectly, if something did go wrong, we had no idea about. Even my guests commented on how nice, accommodating and professional she was, we have no words to thank her enough. I never expected to be stress free on the days leading up to the wedding, and I kept thinking I was missing something because I was so relaxed! Amy really took care of us :) Definitely the best wedding planner, just awesome!!!

Yikes! My biggest mistake I made in wedding planning, was not hiring a planner sooner - I was trying to save money. Amy and Adrienne made my life so much better once we hired them about 2 months before the wedding - it was like I could breathe again! They were hired as 'day-of' coordinators, but they really start working a few months before. They are incredibly professional, and really listen to what YOU, the bride want. It is so easy to get lost in trying to please all of the parties - parents, family, groom - that what you want gets lost, and before you know it, you're in over your head trying to please everyone else and no one is helping. They were my alli. Adrienne was my day-of coordinator, and every time I saw her face, it was a relief! She was so on top of everything, and really kept us on schedule, and probably took care of problems I don't even know about. She took care of our reception setup and take down - of which we had tons because we brought our own centerpieces. I can't thank First Comes Love enough! I HIGHLY recommend them - there is a reason they are award winning! Completely worth the money.

We knew we needed help on our wedding day, and choosing Amy was the best decision we made! She goes above and beyond what she is asked to do, and because of her, our wedding went smoothly, without any problems. I was actually able to relax and enjoy the day! So many people told me the day would be a blur, but because of Amy's planning and organization, we were able to enjoy and remember every minute!

First Comes Love was nothing short of wonderful!! Planning a wedding from the other side of the country isn't the easiest thing, and FCL was always there with vendor recommendations, advice, and next steps, which reassured me everything would be perfect on the Big Day... and it was! Our wedding went off without a hitch thanks to Amy's timeline planning and Jennifer's day-of coordinating. I really did not have to lift a finger on my wedding day, leaving me with that much more time to see friends/family, and just enjoy. Their service is a great value- I really cannot imagine our wedding having gone as smoothly without them. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

Amy was absolutely PRICELESS to me for my wedding! When I started planning my wedding, I was a little apprehensive about my need for a 'planner'. I have a job in marketing and tradeshows, so planning events is part of my day to day job. However, I knew that I would need someone to at the minimum do day of wedding control. WOW...that is the understatement of the year. I actually decided to go with a package that was one up from the day of package. This package allowed me to have a little more handson support in the planning process as well...and thank goodness I had Amy's assistance with as little or as much as I needed. She was prompt in response and took care of whatever it was that I needed. (within reason of course). But most importantly, when San Diego weather was not cooperating with my totally outdoor beach wedding in October and it was pouring down rain with thunder and lightening 2 days before my wedding....Amy calmly responded to my frantic calls, emails, texts etc..."It will clear up, It will be beautiful, Don't worry about it and get some sleep!" Of course she was right, and it was perfect! I know not everything went exactly as I planned on the actual wedding day....but Amy made sure that I knew nothing about it. She made sure that everything was taken care of. My wedding memories are perfect...thank you Amy! You are priceless!

So I was the maid of honor for my cousin's wedding and honestly, she was a mess. She did the flowers herself, rented linens from LA and her caterer and DJ had never done a wedding. I thought that her wedding just wasn't going to come together but First Comes Love really made it happen. They set-up the linens, decorated the place, helped the DJ with pronunciations, made sure that the guys got to the ceremony on time and kept everything on track. Our other cousin is getting married next year and we're already working with her for it. This time though, she's doing the full planning!

Top notch, professional service. Amy had all of the details handled and was a great help to my crew. She kept things on schedule and made sure the bride and groom were relaxed and ready.

I love working with Amy. She cares about everyone working a given event, thinks about where and how each vendor can contribute the most, works out the details before so that your event has a seamless flow. Amy works very, very well with the venue, caterer, photographers, DJs, musicians, florists, officiants, videographers, rental companies and all other services necessary for your wedding. She treats everyone with respect and enjoys what she does - it's not a wonder that she's so great at it. I highly recommend First Comes Love.
