First Unitarian is a beautiful church located in Shadyside. The architecture is stunning. They allow non-members to hold wedding ceremonies there, which was pertinent to us, and also allow unions for non-traditional couples. There are no counseling requirements, they only ask that you attend one of their services.
The wedding coordinator there works offsite, so it is difficult to get a hold of her at first, but she will give you her home number so it is easier to reach her. She is an older lady, so she isn't exactly energetic, but she does know what she is doing.
The ceremony went very smoothly and we are quite happy with the location. The only drawback of First Unitarian is that they do not have any parking, there is on-street parking available, which can be difficult in Shadyside, but the school across the street usually have their driveways available for parking as well.

This church is just beautiful. We didn't need any additional decorations. They allow non-members, which was vital to us. Everything went quite smoothly. The only drawback at this location is that there is no parking lot, it is street parking only in Shadyside, although the driveways at the school across the street are generally available as well.
