First Unitarian has been joining loving couples for many years. We believe that all couples are deserving of a beautiful wedding that will become a treasured memory forever. There are no pre-requites to get married at First Unitarian. Your wedding ceremony will be designed by you under the experienced guidance of our ministers. Your individual personalities, beliefs and backgrounds taken into consideration.

We are known as a liberal, free thinking, welcoming congregation with a beautiful gothic sanctuary. Our historic building is home to many young families, and our doors are always open to visitors.
How does your venue determine the cost of the space?
Our fees depend on the ceremony space that you choose.

Our Minister, Rev. Jude Geiger, will help you design a ceremony that is personal, intimate and unique to you!
Do you offer any special packages for rehearsal dinners?
Rehearsals are included! (Dinner is seperate)
Do you offer additional items for the ceremony?
Rev. Jude has a wide selection of readings and spiritual objects for you to incorporate in your ceremony. And of course, you may bring your own!
Do you rent other items such as linens, tables, or flatware?
Yes, depending on the size of the reception.
What is your staff-to-guest ratio?
All staff is brought in by outside caterers.
Do you require clients to use a specific list of vendors?
No. We do have some good recommendations, though!
Do you require the client to use your musicians? If you do not require this, is that an additional fee to bring in one's own musicians?
No. Outside musicians are very welcome.
Do you have any special side rooms that can be rented out for the occasion?
Yes, there are a couple of options.
Can the client provide their own alcohol if desired?
Yes, of course.
How many power outlets does the venue have?
Our power set up is adequate for most needs.

We discourage flower petals, rice or taped decorations.

We believe that any loving couple, gay or straight, inter-racial or inter-religious, is deserving of a beautiful, memorable wedding! We have no requirements for couples. Your wedding at First UU will be designed by you, with each of your individual heritages, beliefs and backgrounds joined joyful, happy marriage!
