Fleur De Vie, Exotic Floral Designs & Invitations

PERFECT!!! Talin was the most peaceful, sweet and creative woman to work with. She gave us great ideas and helped us find out which flowers were our favorite and which flowers were going to be in season for our wedding. She guided us through the process so easily and made it so fun. She was easy to trust and listened so intently. Her pricing was great and she really helped us stay with a comfortable budget. She came up with great ideas for our venues style(winery) She added wonderful touches to the bouquets and the flower girls arrangement was unique and beautiful. She provided pictures and e-mails detailing ideas and was so clear on every invoice. She was a pleasure to work with and I know we can use her for the next three weddings in our family because she will bring out each of the girls styles and preferences. The whole process was easy and peaceful. She was even on hand for most of the wedding and reception making sure the flowers looked perfect and in case she needed to fix anything (which she didn't) From her designed branch arch with greenery and draping flowers to the unique wine bottle themed centerpieces, we were overly happy with all of her work. FABULOUS!!! She is a beautiful person inside and out:)

We loved working with Talin at Fleur de Vie. Talin’s designs are creative and beautiful, and she’s a really nice person. Talin is also extremely flexible and affordable. We went semi-DIY on our flowers - my mother made the bouquets and did the arrangements for the table centerpieces. Talin did our ceremony arrangements, boutinneres, corsages, a pomander for our flower girl, and a couple of buffet arrangements. Unlike other florists, I got no attitude from Talin about having a relatively small order (some florists wouldn’t work with me because of their minimum orders). Talin was enthusiastic throughout the process. My original plan was to have Talin purchase the flowers that my mother was going to be working with, and Talin encouraged us to buy the flowers ourselves so that we could save money on them, which we did.
On the day of the wedding, I barely saw Talin but later learned that she had gone above and beyond just setting up the few (gorgeous) arrangements she had made. She did all sorts of little things like pin down fabric that was blowing in the wind, and she was awesome at keeping my mom calm. I would recommend Talin to anyone.

Talin is awesome. She's relatively new to the flower business (she's actuallya lawyer who decided on a career change! She's gone through floristry schooland has done weddings before). So, my one caveat is that her business ison the newer side - but this is as of Summer 2006. But that didn't create anyissues at all. She's got a terrific eye, she's really responsive, and she clearlyworked really hard. She's professional, early for everything, and doesn'tmiss a detail. You will especially love her if you're looking for somethingbeyond the generic. She is wonderfully creative and very, very open to yourideas. We had an Asian fusion theme in our wedding, and she executed itbeautifully. She incorporated lots of bamboo and orchids and tropical leaves. Ourcenterpieces were so incredibly unique and creative. I highly recommend Talin - she's impeccable service and innovation at a great price.

I was the kind of bride who said, "Flowers? We don't have room in the budget to pay someone else to do something that I'm perfectly capable of doing myself." Which is funny because I actually did end up hiring a florist, and when we had our first consultation, I had absolutely no idea what I wanted, just a vague idea of the color scheme the hubby and I were going for. Thankfully we had hired Talin, arteeest extraordinaire (and super nice person) of Fleur de Vie. We went through her wheels of flowers and looked at magazines together and I expressed my interests while she ventured some really fun, funky ideas to enhance the decor of our venues. And honestly, I had no idea how it was all going to turn out because I ended up giving Talin a lot of artistic freedom (by my own accord) to create fabulous and funky designs from the flower and textural elements that I had chosen, but on a gut level, I just knew it was going to be great. And indeed, it was. All of her designs for our wedding, from the bouquets, bouts and corsages to the chapel arrangements and the reception arrangements were all so stunning and fun! She worked bark elegantly into everything (to go with our elegant rustic theme) as well as other awesome textural elements. It was everything I could have wanted and so much more. Hiring Talin was such a good decision on my part. The hubby and I took a few of the arrangements home with us after the reception. I wanted to freeze them in time at that moment and have them forever :) Oh, and just in case you were wondering, we did not break our budget. I heartily recommend Fleur de Vie!

Talin is Fabulous!!! She makes bouquets like nobody else. Which is what I wanted.

She was so great when I met her. She asked me so many important questions that no other florist had asked. She asked to see a pic of my wedding dress as well as my bridesmaids dresses. She then brought out her wheel-o-flowers and showed me a ton of stuff. She certainly shared my vision.

When I showed up the day of the wedding it was so hot and there she was with all my flowers spritzing them and making sure they were taken care of. The bouquets were amazing, better than I had ever imagined they would be.

I was married 11 days ago and my bouquet is on my desk sitting in a tiny vase and the flowers that have lasted this long still look beautiful.

Talin--I LOVED the flowers. Congratulations to you! You did such an amazing job. The flowers were stunning--centerpieces, bouquets, and the special arrangements. I got so many compliments on them, but what amazes me most is your ability to "get" my taste and vision so well. I feel incredibly lucky to have found you! even though I thought the bouquet wasn't that important to me, on the day itself I got so much joy from this singular work of art I got to carry in my hands. and, from what I can tell so far, it looks great in the pictures.

Quite simply, Talin, of Fleur De Vie, rocks. I see many, many floral designs with all the weddings I shoot but it was Talin's work that had me stop and take a second, third, fourth look. Her work is so creative and unique.
