Floral Affaire

Alix was BY FAR the best vendor I worked with in planning my wedding. From the start, it was obvious that she would do everything to make sure every detail was exactly the way I wanted it - and I am fairly particular. She listened until she understood completely what I wanted and then made wonderful suggestions using her knowledge and expertise. She can do any style or type of floral arrangement from modern to classic. She was the friendliest and most responsive person throughout the wedding planning process. It was always a joy to speak with Alix. I will only use Alix for any future floral needs and only hope to have events in the future so I can work with Alix again!

Alix of Floral Affaire did a wonderful, beautiful, fantastic job with my Sept. 27, 2008 wedding flowers! I didn't have much of a budget but she made the very most of it!

When I first met with her, it was clear that floral design is something she absolutely loves! Partnering with someone who has such great enthusiasm is a real treat.

Mid-way through the planning process, I changed the centerpiece idea completely and Alix was not only flexible with this, she was excited to try it. We used a molcajete as the "vase" to bring in some traditional Mexican elements and it turned out perfect!

The work Alix did for our wedding flowers MORE than exceeded our hopes. She did such an amazing job and we got tons of compliments. I will forever treasure the bouquet she made for me as well as the lovely gazebo florals and the gorgeous molcajete centerpieces! They were a hit as a giveaway!

Alix was marvelous. Planning your wedding can be such a stressful time, and it's people like Alix that make is seem like a breeze.

My flowers were not only gorgeous, but completely unique. The arrangements were truly a reflection of the atmosphere my fiance and I were trying to create at our wedding.

I was even able to plant some of the succulents that were used and now have a living reminder of our wedding day.

When planning my 2005 wedding, Alix of Floral Affaire was an easy choice. She was always sincerely excited to discuss ideas and details for my wedding. Her passion and love for what she does is evident, not only in the planning process, but in the final delivery. I couldn't have been happier with how beautiful her floral designs were.

I could tell by her portfolio that Alix has a great eye for creating beautiful floral designs that fit each bride's individual personality and taste. Always beautiful, her designs range from traditional to modern and eclectic, with creative ideas I have never seen before. It blew me away and I knew I was dealing with someone who had serious creativity and a mind full of endless ideas.

My favorite flowers, peonies, were out of season at the time of my wedding, but Alix's knowledge of flowers exceeded my expectations when she personally delivered my bouquet of roses that looked so much like peonies I couldn't believe it. She fully captured the look and feel I wanted. My outdoor ceremony was framed beautifully with her designs and the isle to the altar was simply stunning.

Most importantly, Alix was able to add beauty to my wedding that fit in my budget. I feel like I got the most for my money, especially with a designer who comes to the venue to set up every piece and make sure each petal is in place.

I know I made the right choice when hiring Floral Affaire for this one-and-only day.

I had the chance to work with Alix of Floral Affaire for my wedding. What impressed me most about Alix is that during the consultation she truly listened to my ideas. She then was able to take her creative artistic side and collaborate my ideas with hers. I feel that it is very easy for a designer to create their own vision; however, Alix feels the bride comes first. Alix is also very approachable and willing to work with brides of all budgets.

She was able to create beautiful centerpieces and arrangements for both my rehearsal dinner and wedding ceremony/reception. She also was personally there to deliver and set up, which allowed me with one less thing to worry about. I love the added touches she made to make the tables look complete.

You also know that you are getting quality work, when the designer is completely hands on. Alix does not design and then have someone else implement her work. She designs and creates every piece for your wedding. She is also a perfectionist and you can be assured that every arrangement will be detailed.
