Floral Fields

Where do I begin? My original florist was recommended from the florist who was recommended by my venue (Calamigos Ranch). He totally dropped the ball, showed up over an hour late and to the wrong location! Debbie was doing another wedding at the same time at Calamigos Ranch. The people at Calamigos found her and explained what happened to me. Without hesitation, she created my bridal bouquet, table decorations, and aisle chair decorations in about 20 minutes from extra flowers she always brings. When she showed up to my dressing room with the bouquet, my jaw dropped. It was the most beautiful bouquet a bride could ask for! Her calming manner and confident smile gave me a sense of peace, as if I were just visited by an angel. I felt like my day never missed a beat because of Debbie. I called her the following Monday to arrange payment which she wouldn't accept. She explained that this was not the first time something like this has happened. It is wonderful to know that people like her still exist in this world. You can feel confident as a bride that Debbie will provide the up most professional services for your big day. Debbie did our wedding on May 12th and it was everything I had dreamed of and more. One of my top regrets from the day (along with not having enough time to spend with friends, etc) is that I couldn't spend more time admiring and enjoying my beautiful flowers!

Every single person who came to the wedding has commented on how beautiful the flowers were. My mom's friend took some back to her office and even her nurses and office aids were remarking on their beauty to my mom when she came in four days later!

I would put your trust in Debbie and know that she'll do a great job! She put together my "wedding floral vision" (her phrase) better than I could articulate! Somehow, she got the job done, and I could not be more pleased.

As a bride, one always dreams of how the wedding day will be, and if
she is as cynical as I, she would certainly envision all of the
disasters that could go wrong. My recently married friends always
said that the week before was meant for relaxing and the day of the
rehearsal on, the bride is not to be in charge of anything. Great
advice, but certainly easier said than done.

Debbie had long since assuaged my fears and heightened my expectations of all floral dealings--everything from the cake to the arbor--but knowing that no matter how sure she was of success, she still had to
work with other variables: time of arrival, cake vendors, tricky
ladder situations, the dining crew, etc. I was so amazed when not
only did she ask for the names, numbers, and arrival times of all of
the pertinent vendors, she also asked for that info for ALL of my
vendors. She wasn't afraid to call someone if they weren't where they
needed to be. She herself was more than on-time. Before I even
arrived on site, she had already completed the outdoor floral
landscaping and had delivered all of the corsages, boutonnières, and
bouquets. They were BEAUTIFUL! I felt like I was in a secret garden.
All of the flowers were fresh and perfectly arranged, and throughout
the whole day we continuously received ravings about the flowers!

Especially now as I look at our pictures and the blurring hype of the
wedding has cleared, I am even more impressed and awed by how truly
enchanting our flowers were. Debbie was our favorite vendor to work
with and we were so incredibly blessed by her precision, quality, and
good spirit. She carried out our vision even better than we had
imagined ourselves and worked with us at a price that could not be
competed with.

I was my bestfriends maid of honor and I went with her to make almost all of the arrangements. We went to a few florist but really weren't that impressed. Everything looked the same. I actually thought whats the big deal its just flowers. But then we went to Debbie at Floral Fields. She is amazing :P !!! The flowers were so beautiful. She was able to really reflect my friends personality and style. Debbie and her staff really made this day very special for my friend and all of the guests.

I have to be honest and say that I am a personal friend of Floral Fields...

So same sex weddings are here, and they require a florist who can negotiate this new event with a sense of taste and creativity.
As if that weren’t challenge enough, this groom is a designer; and had some "big" and pretty specific ideas.
But after a couple of brain-storming (yet remarkably laid back) meetings with Deb, I realized I wouldn't have to micro-manage. Not only did she totally "get" my vision, she contributed elements and ideas I’d never have thought of.
Her quiet confidence was incredibly calming, and she had some nice little tricks up her sleeve to realize my grandiose plans while still coming in on budget!
And on the day, Floral Fields execution of our wedding was seamless.
We had some tough tasks, including transforming the pool into an illuminated carpet of dahlia and filling enormous bowls with carefully "un-arranged" arrangements.
The visual impact was simply put, extraordinary. Deb juggled country chic with cutting-edge style to create a classic-yet-modern look that defined the event.
Honestly, after Deb had worked her magic, it really didn't matter if anything else went wrong!!!

Debbie is wonderful to work with. Very professional, flexible with appointments, patient throughout the process, amazingly creative. Worked within out budget which was very important and has a great staff of people for set up. I would recommend her to any of my friends and will use her for my next event.

Debbie and Dana were both absolutely great to work with!! We planned our wedding in CA from GA. They were both flexible with the timing when we met via Skype and/or conference calls. They gave the best referrals for hair, makeup, lodging etc. Being so far away, we left a lot of the flower choices up to Debbie and they were absolutely perfect and so beautiful!! Dana's advice on some finishing touches made the reception even better and her organizations skills are ridiculous. Everything ran very smoothly and Dana made sure we had enough to eat and drink at all times. She also was wonderful dealing with our crazy groomsmen. Floral Fields is an amazing creative cool company. I had the pleasure of photographing their creations this weekend and let me tell you when you walked into the wedding reception you almost could not breathe from the beauty. Floral field help bring my wedding to life! Debbie took very rough and scattered ideas and created magic from nothing. As a bride it's hard to step back and trust that people will execute your vision, floral fields did more than that, they take pride in what they do and are worth every penny and more! Debbia was an absolute GIFT!!! She was so incredibly creative, and really got ahold of our overall wedding vision, implementing it into the flowers--which is great, because I went in to her pretty much only knowing a couple flower names!! But yes, she was so sweet and kind talking me through it all, and put me at ease, even though I came to her at the last minute--since I was at first buying the flowers wholesale and arranging them myself. I knew from my first meeting with Debbie that she would be able to translate the ideas in my head to the reality of beautiful flowers. Her work has great style which was evident by the many examples that she shared with me. I can't say enough wonderful things about Debbie and the team at Floral Fields. We had a specifically themed (Steampunk) wedding, and the one thing that I was never sure about was how the heck we would decorate the tables. My husband and I spent months collecting props off of ebay, antique typewriters and light bulbs and hardcover books, and we ended up just dumping them all in Debbie's lap the week or so before the wedding. And she came back with centerpieces that just floored me. First of all, she had worked in all of our props in creative ways that I hadn't even considered, having flowers flow out of typewriters, and nestled in among tiny jars full of gel and LED lights. She even brought some of her own props from home and from family members and generously allowed us to use them. And the actual ceremony space was just stunning, draped all over with candles and greenery. She went way beyond anything that I could have ever imagined, and helped to make an amazing wedding for us. People just couldn't stop talking about how incredible the decor was. Thank you, Debbie!

Debbie was enthusiastic from the beginning. My daughter's wedding had only 50 guests and the room at the restaurant was not large, but the decor was absolutely perfect and simple and fitting for the surroundings. Debbie had lots of ideas and she described them to my daughter so that there was never a worry that everything would not be absolutely beautiful and she exceeded the vision. The theme was black and white and ivory and the simple white gerber daisies for centerpieces were fabulous. All of the guests commented on their lovely simplicity and elegance. The girls bouquets were perfect and the decorated arch added a backdrop to the ceremony that framed the photos of the "I do's"- I don't have enough positive adjectives to describe my delight in the outcome. And all with our budget in mind! Thank You Debbie- for your talent and professionalism.

We just got married 2 weeks ago, and I'm still hearing from people how beautiful all the flowers were. She was experienced and deft, open, warm, considerate and knew exactly where everything was to be. There were no glitches. Debbie did a FANTASTIC job with the floral arrangements and decorations for our wedding, and we can't thank her enough! We knew we were in the right hands from the moment we met her. From our lengthy pre-wedding meetings, to the day of the big event,
Debbie was nothing but helpful, kind, creative, paticient, and
understanding. Her experience and talent are quite obvious from her
large body of work and numerous porfolios, but what absoultely sets
her apart from all of the other florists out there is the fact that
she takes on so much more that just the flowers. Before the wedding,
we had some vases shipped to her to make arrangements for our
Rehearsal Dinner. Unfortuantely many of them arrived damaged...but
without a second thought Debbie took ownership over the hassle,
contacted the vendor, and handeld everything. That level of
commitment and service was apparent throughout all of our dealings
with her. On our wedding day she even helped my husband (the groom!)
find some of his groomsmen and wrangle them all together!

And the flowers!! My concept was a bit hard to pin down and I had a
difficult time conveying the look that I wanted, but Debbie really
drew my ideas out and when I saw my bouquet, our ceremony chuppa, the
centerpieces, etc. I was more than delighted...it all was so
meticulous and perfectly done. Debbie listens, thinks creatively,
works tirelessly, and takes pride in what she creates...and it really
