I am the father of the bride, The wedding was amazing, outdoor ceremony in their beautiful gardens with birds singing as if they were accompanying the musicians. The staff were excellent, from each individual hostess and waiter to the bridal attendant Nancy to the owner, Amanda. But my greatest praise and appreciation goes to our main contact, Michael Huxtable, the Event Consultant. He was spot-on for every issue, large and small, and was with us from 8 a.m. until midnight on the wedding day.
I wholeheartedly recommend Florentine Gardens for your celebration.

It is without reservation that I highly recommend The Estate at Florentine Gardens. My wedding was everything I hoped it would be and more. From the first time that I met my event consultant, Michael, I was put at ease by his profound professionalism and his superb knowledge of the industry. Michael was attentive to any request I made, including last minute changes that were honored.

I decided to use the House Band for entertainment and I am still receiving compliments on their performance. Every song they played was spot-on - and sounded authentic. They played with a tremendous amount of energy and had all of our guests up and dancing throughout the evening.

My experience at Florentine Gardens was greatly enhanced by their hard-working director of in-house entertainment services, Sal Travis. He checked in with me regularly to make sure that all of the recommended vendors were treating us well and to see if there was anything further he could do to assist us. He made me feel that no request was too much to ask.

It has been 2 weeks since our wedding and I am still receiving compliments on the beauty of the venue and the delicious food. The food was amazing - every person we have spoken to was amazed by the variety (and quantity) of food at the cocktail hour. In addition, the food at the reception was also superb and our guests were even offered seconds or the ability to try the other dishes they had not ordered. We also decided to have the Viennese dessert option which was a huge hit.

The After Party at Florentine Gardens was the perfect way to end our night. They brought in a DJ who was terrific, a cigar roller, and even had more food for our guests.

I highly recommend The Estate at Florentine Gardens and hope to one day be invited back as a guest so I can experience it all again.

Honestly, I could fill a book with all the compliments I received from my guests at our reception. From the high quality of the food being served to the classy decor to the attentiveness of the staff, our reception could not have turned out any better.
The planning of our reception was handled by Denise while our entertainment was handled by Sal. Things could not have gone easier or smoother. They were accessible from day one and flexible right up to the final minutes.
Our reception went beautifully and our guests were treated to a wonderfully. We really felt very little stress because of all the work put in by the staff.

My son and daughter-in-law were marred on April 12, 2013. They went to The Florentine Gardens "just to take a look". From the first time they walked into the beautiful foyer and their first meeting with Michael Huxtable they were made to feel they made the right choice. Not only were they treated so kindly and with a level of professionalism, but they felt like they were the only two people in the world that were having their wedding at the Florentine Gardens. Michael is the best in the business and made everything about their day even "more perfect than perfect" - The food at the cocktail hour was extraordinary, and the food at the actual reception was Perfection!!! The ballroom is spectacular and the uplighting gave it the effect that Dana was looking for. While we did not use the house band, Sal Travis who is the manager of the entertainment at the venue was extremely helpful and informative. The wrap-up video - OH MY GOD!!! WHAT A SPECIAL TREAT AT THE END! - I just feel sorry for the guests who left before it was shown - they really missed something special! - I can't say enough about the Florentine Gardens - I am sad that Frankie and Dana's day is over, but with all our family and friends still marvelling at the superior job and amazing food - or should I say over the top abundance of food!! - I can relive this day over and over again and feel so happy that not only did these two young people end up with a beautiful day and fairy-tale wedding, but we made some great friends at the Florentine Gardens and we will surely recommend this venue to everyone! Thank you Michael for always being so sweet and kind - your smile lights up the room - Thank you Sal for your help in being a part of their special day and for the bridal attendant Natalie for taking great care of our bride. It was an incredible wedding and I know Frankie and Dana will remember it for the rest of their lives.

Florentine Gardens is beyond exceptional! From the first phone call we made to make an appointment to the wedding day, and even after the wedding was over. Their professionalism and service was simply amazing.

Upon entering Florentine Gardens, you can tell that there is a lot of pride, work, and effort that goes into keeping it looking so beautiful. The grounds are simply amazing and well kept. There are fresh flowers in the very glamorous lobby with a large stunning chandelier, and a very welcoming atmosphere.

We originally met with Michael who was very enthusiastic and pleasant to work with. Michael worked with us from day 1 till the end of the wedding reception always with a smile on his face. You can tell he truly loves his job and will do everything in his power to make your dream wedding possible. He was always quick to respond to emails and phone calls and always made you feel at ease. We were very pleased and honored to have him working with us.

The day of the wedding was beyond exceptional and perfect! We felt like royalty from the moment we stepped out of the car. We arrived early to get ready and we were greeted by Nancy who was our bridal attendant. Nancy was extremely pleasant and will truly do anything you ask for. They waited on us hand and foot and really made us feel very comfortable on our big day.

A lot of our guests complimented the wait staff and thought the service to be excellent. The food was phenomenal! Many of our guests stated that it was the best cocktail hour they had ever had. Although they were full by the time the entrees came around, the food looked so amazing that they ate that too!

We also used the in-house vendor Sal for our videography and accent lighting. Sal was truly a pleasant man to work with and a true professional with many great ideas!

Overall, Florentine Gardens had greatly exceeded all of our needs. Just when you think they couldn't do more, they do!

Nick and I had our reception at Florentine Gardens on March 16, 2013. Since the first time we went to book the reception almost a year and a half ago, we have had nothing but wonderful experiences with the staff there. We worked with the general manager Maria. She was awesome at answering any questions/concerns. We also worked with Sal who helped us with our entertainment needs and helped us find recommended vendors. The wedding day was also perfect. Everything went as planned. The bridal attendent Carolina and the maitre'd Jeff were most helpful and attentive to all of our needs. Our guests were in love with the food that day. They all said it was delicious! I would recommend this venue to anyone who is interested! It was truly a pleasure working with everyone there!

We prepared for March 15 for about 14 months. In these 14 months my now wife and I, had ALOT of inexperienced concerns. "How is this ever gonna come together", "how are we gonna pull this off", "can Sal really pull this off?" "is his sales pitch for real?" I'm in sales and I can tell anyone who is reading this that they don't only pull it off, they hit the ball over the fence... Going into this night,we thought we would maybe have 1 thing 2 worry about. The only thing we worried about was,when are we gonna have time to take a rest from the dance floor and finally eat some of this food that we haven't stopped hearing about since the cocktail hour... We walked into the cocktail hour at about 7:15pm, and I saw my uncle Dan, and he literally was speechless. He said to me "pete, you are missing the best part" I told him, "Uncle Dan, we were being served in our private bridal suite by our assistant Nancy" My Uncle Dan could not comprehend the fact we had an assistant serving us the same speechless food he just shoveled down... While I was at the cocktail hour, we were fortunate enough to have Jeff, who made all nerves and doubts instantly go away. His experience and assertiveness (cause he doesn't F around) makes you feel right at home.That's what the Florentine Gardens gave us. The feeling that we were right at home. Now we can talk about how entertaining, flattering, experienced, welcoming, and caring Sal is. He is the real deal.Always smiling. I asked him if he ever gets cranky? He said, never... That's when I fell in love. Besides the fact kept him telling me I looked like Toby McGuire, he was perfect. His pitch isn't a pitch, it's the truth...He delivers.He took all nerves away from me and my wife...I can't explain in anymore words that Sal is everything he says he is, and more. Not only are we sad that our beautiful wedding day is over but, my wife and I are sad we won't see Sal as much anymore...We could NOT picture our day with out their staff. Thanks

I had my daughters Bat Mitzvah at Florentine Gardens on March 2nd and it was everything I hoped for and more. It is obvious that the owners take time to train each staff member to treat the guests with respect. The entire staff was attentive to my needs. I had forgotten something in my car and the closest person to me was the bartender, I explained the situation and he took care of it. Within minutes, the maitre de informed me that my items would be arriving shortly and before he was finished with his sentence, the items were in front of me. Additionally, a waitress had found an envelope that a guest had dropped. She made it a point to find me to be sure it got to the right person. Everyone on the staff handled themselves with professionalism and thoughtfulness which was recognized and very much appreciated.
Many of my guests called after the party to tell me how beautiful the catering hall looked and that the food was not only abundant but outstanding as well. They commented that they have never had such delicious food at an event. I had a fabulous time at my own affair because I was so well looked after. I highly recommend The Estate at Florentine Gardens.

We got married in February 2013 at Florentine Gardens. The wedding was perfect, and we received numerous compliments from our guests about the venue, food, and service. Michael and Sal were both easy to work with and delivered everything that we wanted. Nancy (bridal attendant) and Jeff (maitre’d) were both amazing and made sure that our entire day ran smoothly. I had my wedding reception at Florentine Gardens on 2/16/13. This very special venue made my DREAM wedding a REALITY! The staff went above and beyond to ensure that my wedding would be even BETTER than they promised me! From the moment I first walked through the doors (before booking), I knew this was the venue for me. The grand ballroom nearly brought me to tears! Michael Huxtable (my event consultant) was amazing! He was truly there for me every step along the way - from before we signed the contract until the moment I walked out of there at the end of the night. Planning my wedding reception with him was a pleasure, not the least bit stressful! Nancy was our maitre'd and she was perfect for us. She knew what we were thinking before we were even thinking it! Choosing Florentine Gardens as our wedding reception venue was the best choice we could have made. Amanda (AGM), Denise (Event Consultant), & Sal (Director of Entertainment & Services) offered and provided more than we could have even imagined. They made the process so easy and guided us through every decision. The grounds are beyond stunning and their service is unparalleled. We opted to use Florentine's band & a number of their entertainment services, which received rave reviews from all of our guests. The food is top notch and the cocktail hour is unlike anything we've ever seen before. 110% blown away by our event and without a doubt I would recommend to anyone and everyone. The staff at FG makes you feel like family and treats your wedding like it's the only one they are booking all year. We could not have even dreamed of a better day. AMAZING AMAZING venue. Michael Huxtable was truly a pleasure to work with. Clear and to the point during the process, his attention to detail clearly came through on the day of the wedding and his staff. He oversaw my entire reception, greeted me upon my arrival and was on the floor the entire time making sure everything ran smoothly. He was always available, stood by me and everything was just perfect. Michael was professional, as was his staff that evening. I did not worry about one thing, any concern I had was taken care of IMMEDIATELY.

During the planning process, correspondance was quick. Michael's email replys always answered any questions or concerns. Any drastic and/or minimal changes made were duly noted and executed. When I asked his opinion he gave it to me and I absolutely valued it.

The food was DELICIOUS- everyone was raving about it. I was a bride who actually got to try the food! My bridal suite was set up with appetizers and a bar and we were constantly brought plates of food from the cocktail hour! I HIGHLY recommend Florentine Gardens, WORK WITH MICHAEL! I would follow him as an event consultant anywhere! My wedding was clearly not his first, this is a guy who knows what he's doing!

Everyone at the estate are just wonderful! They are there when they need you on the day of the wedding. Everything I possibly could think of happened on our wedding day! I had the best time because of all the workers there! I definitely appreciated everyone at the Estate. I couldnt ask for anything more from my wedding!

Our daughter's bat mitzvah party was held at Florentine Gardens this past weekend. I have planned many affairs before, but the service and attentiveness at FG was by far the best. I worked with Michael, who bent over backwards to accommodate us, was always available to answer questions and NEVER got annoyed no matter what we asked of him. The food was phenomenal: plentiful and delicious. The staff was professional and the service impeccable. The facility is beautiful. Ours was a winter affair and the gardens were twinkling with lights that looked magical through the windows. I can only imagine how lovely it is in the summer. There is no possibility that you will regret choosing this venue!

From the moment I walked into Florentine Gardens, I knew immediately that this was the place I wanted to get married in. It just had everything I was looking for, the venue was absolutely beautiful and luckily there was another ceremony taking place that day so I was able to see how the ballroom was set up for both the ceremony & reception. We met with Denise our wedding consultant who was soo warm and friendly and attentive, and her enthusiasm about the place and having our wedding there just sealed the deal for me and I knew this was THE place. It took us a year to plan and throughout it all, if I had any questions, then Denise or someone else (during Denise's maternity leave) was right there to help us. We also worked with the in-house entertainment director Sal, who was so wonderful and who knew exactly what we wanted from our reception. He picked all the right music for us for both the ceremony and reception and he was a great MC, got everyone up and dancing throughout the entire reception party. I had guests come up to me raving about the cocktail hour and the reception, how much they enjoyed themselves and what a wonderful time they had. Natalie, my bridal attendant was a joy to work with, catering to my every need, and I truly felt like a princess on my wedding day! Our maitre'd Peter was also helpful, moving things along during the day to make sure everything was running smoothly and in a timely manner. I'm so happy I got married here, it's a wonderful place, staff is very attentive, patient, and makes you feel so special on your wedding day. I highly recommend Florentine to anyone who's looking to have a stress-free fabulous wedding day~

I don't even know where to begin to explain how amazing our experience was at The Estate at Florentine Gardens. From the moment we entered the estate, we knew it was a special place. The staff at Florentine Gardens is truly exceptional, and after meeting Michael Huxtable on our first visit, we knew we didn't want anyone else coordinating our wedding. Michael could not have been more helpful and accommodating. I admit, I am pretty crazy when it comes to details. At one of our meetings, I handed Michael a two-page typed checklist and a few "diagrams" that I had drawn. Michael just took them with a smile and assured that everything was perfectly executed the day of our wedding. I was also one of those brides who would send the most random (and probably annoying) emails to Michael about every little detail, and he always got back to me promptly (and happily). Even when we dropped off 15 boxes of wedding day items, Michael just laughed :)

Our wedding day was incredible, and the staff at Florentine Gardens made sure that everything was perfect. From the lobby decor, to the white lights outside the ballroom, to the votives they suggested placing in every window pane, the estate looked stunning. The food was delicious, and we highly recommend the Viennese display for dessert - our guests loved it! The staff could not have been more attentive, and our wonderful bridal attendant even kept bringing us food to make sure we had the opportunity to eat!

We have been hearing nothing but wonderful feedback from our wedding guests. By the time cocktail hour was over, several of our guests had already told us it was the best wedding they had ever been to. A month later, everyone is still talking about our wedding.

My wedding is still burning in my brain - and I have to say it is all thanks to Sal Travis and Michael Huxtable. Sal promised our wedding would be amazing - the outcome of our wedding exceeded our wildest expectations (and trust me we had them). The food was AMAZING - the service was fabulous and the band was OUTRAGEOUS. We have had non stop compliments from family members and friends both young and old about how the music was outstanding. A testament to that is my grandfather - who we were told would not make it past the cocktail hour left our wedding at MIDNIGHT because he was having such a great night.

We cannot thank them enough. I was told ahead of time to prepare for things to go wrong- and I can honestly say that to the amount of snow on the ground the wedding was jaw dropping amazing. I have to say that I was able to work with Sal regarding the music, and that is probably what we got the most compliments on. We did not want all current pop music, as we are big into rock and roll. The band played a cover of Bill Withers "Use Me" that still has us chatting about it. The venue, food, band, service was impeccable. I cannot believe how amazing a night we had!! Do yourselves a favor and book with Florentine!!

My husband and I were married at Florentine Gardens on 12/15/12. Our wedding was a fairytale thanks to our consultant, Michael Huxtable , and the rest of the staff at Florentine Gardens. We could not have asked for a more perfect day. Michael is one of the most caring, professional, and classy people my husband and I have ever met. He is amazing at what he does. Michael makes dreams come true.

From the very beginning of the planning process, my husband and I were treated as if we were Michael’s only clients. If we had a question, it was answered. If we expressed any concern, it was handled with the utmost care.

Florentine Gardens is a beautiful venue, from the lobby’s cozy fireplace and beautiful décor, to the classic and gorgeous cocktail hour room, to the high ceilings, glistening chandeliers, and magnificent floor to ceiling windows in the ballroom, Florentine never ceases to amaze. From the moment we walked in, my husband and I (and our families) simply knew Florentine Gardens was “it.” As Florentine only host’s one event at a time, we were able to add our own personal touches, i.e. pictures of our family throughout the lobby, and tea light candles to line the floor to ceiling windows in the ballroom. Additionally, the food is SO delicious. Our guests loved the fabulous variety.

Our wedding day was smooth and stress-free. My husband and I are still receiving calls and messages from our guests stating that our wedding was one of, if not, the best weddings they’ve ever been to. The bridal attendant assigned to me, Carolina, was so sweet and amazing. Anything I wanted or needed, she was there for me. My husband and I were also able to enjoy some time alone in the spacious bridal suite (large enough to accommodate our large wedding party) prior to the reception, and food from the cocktail hour was brought to us as well as any beverage we wanted. We really just felt SO special.

There is no venue better than Florentine Gardens. My husband and I went to visit 8 other venues and there was no one who treated us better than Denise Downing (see if you can work with her!). She is a GOD SEND and represents the venue so well. She welcomed us with open arms and was on OUR team the moment we met her. That's what made FG stand out to us in comparison to the other venues- their focus on day one was how they could make us happy. What could they do make our lives easier? How could they fit our budget? These were addressed during our first sit down. Amazing.

Unfortunately, Denise went on maternity leave during our planning but returned the week before the wedding. It was as if she had never left. Although we were nervous with her leaving, she left us in good hands. The staff clearly works well as a team and everyone is just so great and doting. As a fickle bride, it was important to work with a venue that was patient and wonderful and WANTS to give you the best day ever. That is exactly what FG did, and they did it all with a smile! Our wedding day was absolutely the most perfect day ever. I wasn't stressed out for a moment. Denise made sure everything was beyond perfect, as if her life depended on it. Our guests have told us over and over again that it was the best wedding they've ever been to. The staff even went around during dinner giving seconds! Worth every penny.

And Sal! I love that man. We had issues with the Woodcliff Lake Hilton (hotel that we booked for our guests- worst vendor ever) and he called them immediately to scold them (he was clearly team bride :)). He and Denise are the heart of FG, simply put. The staff at Florentine Gardens is family to us now and there is no doubt that if you choose to have your wedding at FG (which you should, OBVIOUSLY!) that it will single-handedly be the best decision you have made during the wedding planning process! I want to get married all over again just so we could have another party there!

Not enough stars to show you just how great Florentine is !! From Start to finish--- top to bottom they are great and worth every penny !! I love their venue because its one wedding at a time- you get the whole venue !!! The food is unreal - the maitre'ds are right there every step of the way to help you out. They are professional - the venue is gorgeous in everyway. You cant go wrong with Florentine. They are perfect !!

From the moment my husband and I first got engaged, we both had our hearts set on having our wedding reception at the Florentine Gardens. Naturally, we shopped around to see if any other place would compare, and as we expected no place even came close! After touring the grounds and going over the menu offered (which is amazing all in itself), we finally agreed on a date and started planning. Our wedding planner was Mike Huxtable, and let me tell you, he was absolutely a pleasure to work with! Not only did he keep in close contact with us through out the year of planning, but the day of the wedding went flawlessly all because of him! Mike not only guided us through the wedding planning process as stress free and easy going as he could, but he genuinely put all his heart and soul into making our day perfect, and it showed! Besides the beautiful venue, five star food, and amazing staff; we decided to use Sal Travis Entertainment for our videography, up lighting, and photobooth. From the second we sat down with Sal, it was evident how passionate he was about not only his work, but about making our wedding day as special for us as he could. His smile was so endearing and it was hard to not fall in love with his work from just meeting him. We went with the theatrical package, including up lighting, a picture montage, and a wrap up video of the day. The wrap up video was such a special touch to the night because it allowed everyone to see a recap of the day, and we were able to take home copies of it that night to enjoy! The videography team was absolute perfection. We were hoping that we wouldn't even realize anyone was filming us, and that was absolutely the case! All in all, we could not have asked for a more memorable or perfect day than we had! We both were blown away with how many compliments we received from our guests and hands down would recommend the Florentine Gardens to anyone looking to have a magical wedding experience.

My husband and I were married on November 4th at the Florentine Gardens, one week after the hurricane disaster, and our day still turned out like a dream. From the start of the process when we chose our venue Mike answered every question and made all of our requests happen. Even with craziness and difficulties from the storm our special day went forward without a hitch due to the work of the Florentine team. The grounds for our outdoor ceremony/reception were perfect, the tables and décor were amazing, and our bridal suites were above and beyond what we expected. Our bridal attendant Natalie kept everyone organized and also saved the day and sewed back on a button that fell off my husband’s tuxedo minutes before the ceremony. Our friends and family continue to rave about the cocktail hour, main course, dessert and attentiveness of all the Florentine staff. We got married at Florentine Gardens on October 27, 2012. The day was more than i could ever have imagined. The staff was so attentive and answered every question and met every need we had. Jeffery and Sal did a wonderful job of making sure we, as well as our guests, had a great time and everything went as smoothly as it could go!!! They all worked so hard to make our day the most special and memorable day of our lives and we are so grateful!! I cannot stress enough what an absolutely amazing job everyone did!!!!!!!

Words cannot describe how phenomenal the Florentine Gardens is! I had my wedding there on 10.6.12 and it was spectacular! My event coordinator was Michael and he is by far the most awesome person ever! My husband and I liked him from the start. It was the beautiful grounds and rave reviews that got us there but it was Michael that made us want to have our reception there. We ended up using everyone Michael suggested because he is great at his job. We went in house with entertainment and videography. Sal Travis is such a wonderful person. His warm and friendly demeanor made him a pleasure to work with. The music was great, everyone was dancing. My bridal attendant Natalie is the best bridal attendant ever; I wanted and waited for nothing! You can't go wrong with having your wedding at the FG. WOW!!!!!!!! We just had our wedding at the Florentine Gardens on October 5, 2012. The service was absolutely priceless!!! We initially started with Denise but she went on maternity leave(woooohooo). We began working with Maria who is just as wonderful as Denise! We had Nancy as our bridal attendant. Words cannot describe how perfect her service was. Nancy knew what we wanted without us even asking for it. She provided us with a flawless service. She was absolutely perfect!!!!!!! We also worked with Jeffrey. He made sure everything that night went perfect!!!! He really had everything on point and all of our guests loved our wedding. Jeffrey fixed something in our ballroom in the matter of seconds. The entire Florentine Gardens team captured our vision.

The most amazing night of my life! Everything was amazing! Maria was great to work with and helped me out with anything that I needed! Hi all! I’ve never written a review on anything before, but after my experience with the Florentine Gardens I feel like telling the world how wonderful they are!! I had my wedding ceremony and reception there on 9/23/12. Everything was perfect! Everything they promised us, they delivered - They exceeded our expectations!! I'm still hearing compliments about our wedding - the ones that stand out the most are "the food was excellent and very fresh", "the place is gorgeous", "the staff was on point with everything", "great DJ, I danced the whole night", and a lot of other great compliments.
I worked very close with Denise Downing who made sure that all the little details were covered – she’s amazing. Sal Travis and his team were exceptional as well ( the music, lighting, and video). I'm Portuguese and so were most of my guests, it was very important to have Portuguese music so everyone could enjoy it. Alex did a great job mixing the Portuguese music with American -which if not done right, it doesn't flow every well. They did an excellent job!! Everyone was on the dance floor and having a great time - this was very important to us!!!!
Anthony Sylvestri was our Maitre'D and did an excellent job keeping everything running smoothly!! Nancy was my bridal attendant and anticipated my every need! She trully listens and by the end of the night I felt like she was an old friend and not someone assigned to me for the day - LOVE HER!!! They have a great setup and an amazing staff. Everyone was friendly, polite, and on point with everything. I don't have enough words to thank them for the amazing work they did! I can go on and on raving about them, but I'm trying to keep this short. All I can say, if you book your event with the Florentine Gardens you will not disappointed. Michael, Jeff, and the entire staff at the Florentine Garden's all went above and beyond to make our wedding outstanding.

From the moment we contacted Michael to tour the estate, to the last drink at 2am when Jeff offered to drive us back to our hotel when our car service was late, we were treated in a polite, professional, and a family like manner.

The estate was the easiest vendor of everyone we used to deal with. Anything we needed, wanted, or asked, they worked with us on. Any email we sent, or voice mail we left, was answered inside of an hour. Any special request we had, from unique timing for the night, to dimensions of plates and tables for our florist, were taken care of without as much as a question.

On the day of our wedding, from the second our limo pulled up, we were greeted by Michael and Jeff and cared for like royalty the entire day. My entire family and all of our guest could not stop telling me how attentive the staff was, how wonderful the food tasted, and how at home they felt.

Everything we ate that entire night tasted great. We have been to a ton of weddings, and sometimes expectations are high but the venue fails to deliver. Florentine delivered and exceeded our expectations food wise. Jeff really kept the staff on their toes and it showed the entire night. He really knows how to run an event!
Carolina our bridal assistant for the day was outstanding. She kept a drink in both our hands the entire night, made sure we ate, and made sure we did everything we had our our itinerary and more. When my parents were stranded at the hotel due to car service mix up, Michael hopped in his personal car as we were taking photos in the garden, drove to the Hilton, and brought them to our wedding!

I am running out of room here so all I can say is this. Michael and his team went above and beyond to make our day awesome and we are forever grateful!

I was recently married at Florentine Gardens; our wedding was SPECTACULAR! The venue is absolutely gorgeous! We had our Ceremony, Reception, and After-Party at the Florentine so it was a LONG day but the amazing staff lead by Michael Huxtable and Sal Travis made sure every element was perfect. We loved how it was a "one stop shop" in that the whole day was taken care of by the Florentine Gardens staff. We did not experience ANY issues.They even helped us with an OUTSIDE vendor we were having issues with, and made sure that they did everything correctly to relieve some pre-wedding stress. They are two of the most wonderful and professional people you will ever meet.

The Food -- UNBELIEVABLE -- all of our friends and family were raving about the cocktail hour, reception of course, the Venetian Hour... Mike even coordinated Taco Bell to be delivered to our after party! They are very flexible with out of the box requests.

The Band / Entertainment / Lighting - Our friends and family were blown away by the band who you just need to hear in order to know why. We originally didn't think we'd want a band but once we heard them we new we needed it! Our package included Videography - I don't want to give away all the surprises but we had screens that showed our baby pictures / events of the entire day. Sal, Anthony, and the Videography crew did a FANTASTIC job with every element of the day!!

I don't think there are words to describe this place but I'll try. Amazing, Amazing, Amazing!!!! Florentine Gardens is such a beautiful place. Classy, Elegant, top of the notch service and great people. Everyone and I mean everyone who works there treats you like if you were family. The food is not like any other. You can tell that there's a great chef in the kitchen preparing every meal with passion in order for you and your guest to enjoy every bite. Great food, Top shelf drinks, perfect atmosphere. Sal Travis and Michael Huxtable did an awsome job in making sure that every single thing went beautifully.The entire staff was on top of everything. My bridal assistant Nancy was truly a blessing. She was so helpful and she made sure she was by my side throughout the entire affair. I want to thank the Florentine Gardens for making my day the most memorable not only for me but for my guests as well.

From the moment, my husband and I walked into the estate to look, we were blown away by the gorgeous ballroom & stunning chandeliers. Our initial banquet manager was Oliver Leoni but after he left to pursue another opportunity, we worked with Maria. Having worked with Oliver since the start, we were obviously a little nervous getting a new banquet manager six months before our wedding but Maria picked up right where he left off without any issues.

When we arrived to our reception, we were greeted by Maria, Nancy (my amazing bridal attendant) & Jeffrey (our awesome Maitre d') & we were escorted to our bridal suite where Jeffrey went over & confirmed the details of the night. My husbands jacket was completely wrinkled from the limo ride so Nancy took it and steamed it for him. When we went upstairs to our cocktail hour, they had a table reserved especially for us. Once we were seated, Nancy & several other servers went around to each of the stations and brought food back to our table - so much that our entire table was covered with plates! Once we sat down for dinner, Nancy came & covered me with a large tablecloth in order to protect my dress. My husband had the Chateaubriand & I had the Chilean SeaBass. Both were DELICIOUS! Our other entree was the French Cut Chicken Breast stuffed with Spinach & Fontina Cheese & I was able to have a piece of that when Jeffrey and the waitstaff came around & offered seconds... yes, SECONDS! We, along with our families & guests were completely blown away with the amount of food & how great everything was. From cocktail hour to dinner to viennesse hour to the hot pretzels & italian ices at the end of the night, no one can say they left hungry!

Thank you FG for going above and beyond & making our wedding day truly one to remember. Now one of our friends or family members needs to have their reception here so we can return as guests!

We know this is review is quite late, as we had our wedding back on 9/3/12, but we still want to say that we had the best night of our lives on our wedding day, thanks, in large part, to the Florentine Gardens and their wonderful team.

Everything about the Florentine Gardens, from Maria, our event coordinator, to Sal, our entertainment and videography coordinator, to the food (best of any place we've been to), to the entire staff and the venue itself,, was the epitome of class, precision, professionalism, personalization, and most of all, fun.

We decided to get the majority of our services from them, so as to lessen our headache with having to keep up with too many vendors, and it was the best decision we made. They're like a well oiled machine that knows exactly what you want, when you want it, most of the time before you even think about it. And even when we wanted to throw in a number of personalized touches to our night, they were nothing but supportive and accommodating.

We've been to a number of places for other weddings, for family and friends, and out of all of them, the Florentine Gardens ranks at the top of our list as a whole package. They're the best one stop shop for all your needs.

We had our daughter's wedding at The Florentine Garden this past Saturday. It was magical in every way. Our event consultant was Michael Huxtable who was fantastic from the first moment we booked on New Year's Eve to the day of the wedding.
He is professional, responsive and a pleasure to work with. Michael was there from the moment we arrived till the wee hours when our event was over. Our maître d', was Jeffrey who was excellent as well. He ran everything from the ceremony to the reception with perfection. He calmed everyone's nerves. We had heard that the Florentine is amazing, but they exceeded our expectations in every aspect.
The cocktail hour was fabulous! Although, I did not eat much, I was told by all of our guests that the selection, presentation and service was fantastic. I wish I had one of the baby lamb chops now! One of my daughters friends got married at the Florentine Gardens last July, they were thrilled to be able to experience the Florentine Gardens once again.
Carolina, my daughters bridal assistant was extremely attentive to her from the moment we arrived, to getting in the limo at the end of the evening.
I would highly recommend The Florentine Garden as the venue is impeccable, the staff is fantastic and our daughter and her husband had their dream wedding.
The House Band lead by Sal Travis was fantastic, they knew every song on our play list. Sal was the most accommodating, helpful person from the planning stages to the night of the wedding. My husband and I were married at The Estate at the Florentine Gardens on 8/25/12 and experienced the most beautiful day of our lives. Our event consultant, Michael Huxtable, was ABSOLUTLY AMAZING. Since 12/11, when my husband and I booked our wedding, Michael was there for us, without fail, in so many ways. He was knowledgeable, professional, fashionable and went above and beyond all of our expectations to make us happy. He was at our wedding reception from the second we arrived to make sure everything was running smoothly and stayed until we took the shuttle back to the hotel. Working with someone so helpful was very comforting, especially to a stressed out bride ;o)
The cocktail hour was fantastic. Nancy, our bridal assistant, waited on us hand and foot and brought us anything and everything we wanted to eat. Food literally filled the room and it was DELISH! Nancy was not only a help during cocktail hour, but she was there next to us all night making sure we were happy. Among many other favors, Nancy fixed the bustle on my dress when it came loose, she brought us drinks when we wanted refills, and she brought me my flip flops when my feet started to hurt. She was yet another person who was there from beginning to end and really contributed to such a great experience.
Sal’s house band had our guests out of their seats all night! They are such a talented band that can play any song you want to hear. The wrap up video brought tears to our eyes and was a truly beautiful way to sum up the day. The Viennese hour was filled with every type of dessert and after dinner drink known; it the perfect ending to the reception.
It’s been two weeks since our wedding day and we’re still getting get calls from our guests telling us that our wedding was the best wedding they had ever been to. Enough said! Thank you FG!!

Being a bride is stressful, but Michael and Sal took care of every request that we had.
Michael was so responsive with every email or phone call and was always accommodating to our schedules. Natalie, our bridal attendant, was beyond great. She had my lip gloss in her pocket, just in case I needed it!
My guests were beyond thrilled with the venue. I can't tell you how many times I've been told that the cocktail hour was amazing. Food was delicious! Especially the creme brûlée :)
My guests did tell me they had an issue with one of the waiters, but that is minor in the grand scheme.

I used Sal for DJ and videography as well.. Use him! The wrap up video at the end was so great! You get to relive your whole day for 3 minutes!

My husband and I were married at The Florentine Gardens on August 12th. I can't even begin to explain how amazing my experience was. Since the very beginning, Michael, our coordinator was extremely accomdiating and generous. They helped us organize everything from food, to outside garden, to music, to flowers, the works! Michael even arranged for my bridal party to come early the day of to take photos in the private garden, had the bridal suite prepared for us with food and drinks. The day of my wedding completely exceeded my expectations. Michael and Jeff ensured the day would run smoothly and it did. My bridal attendant, Nancy was AMAZING. She literally took care of me the entire night. It was truly the most amazing night. We used The FG House Band, and they kept the energy going all night. Sal, our MC, and coordinator of entertainment of the FG was amazing, starting from day 1. I will miss getting emails from him. We also used the theatrical package which included a wrap up video. All of our guests couldn't believe the amount of talent and how quickly it was produced, we saw it that night. The food was AMAZING! Everyone kept telling us how delicious the food was and that it was the best food they have had at a wedding. There was sooooo much food. The wait staff went over to all the tables at dinner and offered them a tasting of all of the main dishes in addition to the meal they had chosen. Our favors were cake boxes that would be filled with a slice of cake, but the staff was so generous and let our guests fill their boxes with all of the left overs from our Vienese Hour.

The food is beyond belief, everything, according to our 200 plus guests was delicious, and plentiful. Maitre d' Jeffrey did everything possible to ensure that things ran smoothly from start to finish, and that every guest was attended to. Bravo to the house band under the leadership of Sal Travis! The band was unbelievable! They abound with such talent and enthusiasm, the dance floor was jumping the whole night long! Sal is such an amazing person. He orchestrates all the entertainment for the Estate, and his attention to detail is unparalled. He makes sure that the evening starts off on a high note, and stays that way throughout. Our wedding coordinator was Michael Huxtable. My daughter and I had an immediate connection with Michael. He assured us from day one that our wedding would be everything that we have always dreamed of. He made himself available to us at all hours of the day and night. Michael has an easy going manner, and nothing was too much for him to do. And, most importantly, he was there with us till the end...from the first day we walked into the Estate, to the last minute of the evening of the wedding. We just got married yesterday! The Staff at Florentine Gardens, the whole Estate, the food, the band, the entertainment package, the videographers were insane- l honestly don't think I could have asked for anything more. From day one when I walked in to "peek" at the place, they welcomed me in, showed me around, and made me feel at home.

Michael is "THE SH*T" literally so accommodating, kind and fun. He took care of every detail and made minor changes for my crazy planning details happen 2 days before the wedding. Carolina is the nicest human on earth - she plugged in a curling iron for me, steamed my dress, had bobby-pins in her pocket, a napkin for my HUSBAND, had a Chardonnay in one hand, a diet coke in the another and carried my veil all at the same time. Sal Travis was so kind and reassuring and made every wish and detail happen for us. We sat in his office choosing songs for our montage and he allowed us to envision how our wedding would be and then followed through with it all. Anthony was incredible making everything run smoothly. Any question or concern we had was answered and addressed immediately. The Florentine Gardens is beautiful but so are the staff who make it that way. Any bride/groom will be lucky to have their wedding here. Thank you!! The Estate at Florentine Gardens was an amazing wedding venue! I feel so lucky that after visiting many different venues that we selected Florentine Gardens. Our wedding planner, Denise, was so nice and extremely helpful during the entire process. She made sure every detail was handled flawlessly and gave us the personalized attention that you want when planning your wedding. We also used the house band, and they were phenomenal! Our guests are still raving about how wonderful the band was. Sal does an excellent job as MC, and he created a fabulous theatrical package for us that included fog during our first dance as well as an exquisite wrap-up video the same day as our event. Our friends and family were very impressed with how quickly Sal and his team were able to create this video! It is something we have watched many times since our wedding and is a great way to remember how we were feeling on our special day! I cannot say enough positive things about Florentine Gardens!!! The staff at Florentine Gardens really knows how to throw an event. From the first time I called to stop by and see it, to the days before and after the wedding, communication was always quick and easy. My questions were answered immediately and my mind put at ease. On our wedding day, the staff flowed smoothly throughout the event, catering to my every need and dealing professionally with any vendor issues that popped up. My husband and I said our only regret was that we didn't attend cocktail hour because we heard it was so good! We hope to get the chance to go back as a guest and experience it again.

We got married on 8-10-12 to the place that we visited 4 years prior for a friend's wedding. We always remembered this venue as spectacular so when the time came to plan a wedding...we went right to the Florentine Gardens and met with Michael Huxtable to start the planning process. We knew that they could help us have the most memorable day because we had such significant memories of our time there for a different wedding. We had 272 people at our wedding and not one complaint. The wedding was flawless.

MICHAEL HUXTABLE was amazing and we really enjoyed working with him during the planning process!!!! We can't put into words how much we appreciated his help during the planning. We kept asking Michael what else we should be doing because it just seemed too easy!!! He took care of all the details. The Florentine Gardens was able to run the wedding day extremely smoothly.

The bridal attendant, NANCY was so sweet and gave us cold towels to deal with the heat during outside pictures. The maitre d was JEFFREY and he was running the night with his ear piece. He was so wonderful to work with. SAL TRAVIS organized the photo montage, wrap up video, lighting, and videography package. We can't wait to see the whole video because the wrap up video was awesome.

Our guests have not stopped talking about the wedding and the food. THE FOOD WAS SPECTACULAR! As one guest said, "The cocktail hour was the best she has ever been to." We had a wet mozzarella roller and he was the talk of our Italian wedding. THE FLORENTINE GARDENS has delicious food and impeccable service!

From the moment we were first engaged we started looking at venues for our reception. We looked at so many places, but once we stepped foot into the Florentine Gardens, nothing else even compared. Our decision was made. We both knew from that moment, this was the place for us. We set the date and started planning!

Our wedding planner was Mike Huxtable. Mike was amazing and such a pleasure to work with. He was always so helpful keeping in close contact with us and guiding us through the months of planning. He would offer his suggestions and advice. He made the planning so much easier on us. I am so thankful we had Mike to make our wedding day perfect!

Besides the beautiful grounds, top notch food, and amazing staff, we also decided to use Sal Travis Entertainment for our videography, and up-lighting. Sal Travis is wonderful!!! I am still in touch with Sal now 6 months later. He is so genuine. I have never met anyone who cared so much about making his clients happy. He always had a smile on his face and everytime we sat down with Sal we could see how passionate he was about his work. We went with the theatrical package, up-lighting, a picture montage, and a wrap-up video of the entire day start to finish. The wrap up video was such a special touch to the night because it allowed everyone to see a recap of the entire day, and we were able to take home copies of it that night to enjoy. I still have family and friends talking about the wrap-up video. It was the perfect ending to a perfect day.

My husband and I could not have asked for a more memorable day. We received so many compliments from our guests. I have been told numerous time that it was the best wedding ever. Words can barely begin to describe our experience at the Florentine Gardens. From the moment we walked in for our initial consultation we were complete wowed and made to feel like a special, unique couple. Our coordinator, Mike [Huxtable] was available around the clock to answer all of our questions (even the annoying ones) and he made us feel like we were the only couple he had to work with. Reviewing all the details of our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception on paper was dazzling as it was, but; come wedding day we had our socks knocked off!
From the minute we arrived we had not a care in the world. Before we could even think of a necessity/request, Mike, Liana and the rest of the [very] well-coordinated staff had thought of it and it was already taken care of. They left no bells unanswered and were as fun and friendly as they were diligent, prompt and professional. The food was ridiculously delicious; we heard nothing but the highest praises from our guests! The perfectly maniucured gardens were breath-taking and the coordination of the ceremony amazed both us and our guests alike. Flawless. The accent lighting, photo montage, wrap video...everything was impeccably executed. Our wedding day was the best day of our lives and Florentine Gardens had everything to do with that. If you're getting married and searching for a venue, stop looking and call up the Florentine ...you'll be ever-thankful that you did.

I recently had my wedding at the Estate and it was phenomenal. We dealt with Denise Downing who is a true gem. She was in constant contact at the date approached and so accommodating. Ssl Travis and his house band were amazing.

I got married here 07/21/12. This venue is gorgeous and absolutely perfect. Many of our guests raved about the amazing food at the cocktail hour and dinner and how this was one of the best weddings they have ever attended.

The cocktail hour was amazing. We decided to stay in the bridal sweet for some private time that they provided us with so the staff brought us food to eat. I was told by the staff that they have never seen guests devour so much food during the cocktail hour.

One of the best parts of the Florentine gardens is that your event is the only event taken place. This allows you to enjoy the entire venue and its breathtaking grounds.

The entire staff is professional and is very helpful and accommodating. Most importantly the bridal attendant (Christina) was one of a kind. She was there to help me fix my dress and whenever we needed anything. She was just a joy to have.

The estate at Florentine gardens was everything and more that I could have ever dreamt of. I like to say a special thank you to Maria Daidone. She was truly amazing and such a wonderful person.

What can I say about my daughter's wedding at the Estates-PERFECTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was a dream come true. The venue itself is magnificent! It is a true fairy tale setting. It is elegant and classic. The gardens are so beautiful! The service was outstanding. Michael, Anthony and Sal made sure that every little detail was attended too.

I cant begin to say how amazing the service, staff, and venue is. Nancy, my bridal attendant was there every minute of my day helping me with anything ad everything I could possibly imagine. She gave ice to my fiancée and now husband to cool off when he was warm, fixes my sisters dress when there was a spill, and was under the table gettin my shoes before I even mentioned that I wanted to take off my heels and change into flip flops! Jeffrey, the maitred was extremely organized and made sure everything went off without a hitch. Maria, our wedding coordinator was so organized and helpful. The guests raved about everything but especially the service and cocktail hour! I am thrilled with them and can't speak highly enough about this venue!!!!

What an amazing place! They really know what they are doing and go out of their way to take care of you....you don't have to worry about a thing so you really get to enjoy your wedding day! The food and service was amazing! I got so many compliments on how great the food was and how beautiful the place was! Sal's videography and dj package is also great because it makes your wedding unique and personal. They are very professional and all of the effects with the montage and videography were very impressive! Everyone loved it because it was entertaining and something different to have at a wedding. My ceremony and reception were at The Estate at Florentine Gardens. The whole day, from the moment I arrived for my wedding until I left, was better than I could have ever dreamed! The staff was so attentive to any need that I or any of my guests had. The food was absolutely awesome! The band was incredible. Sal was amazing as a MC. He really got everyone on the dance floor. I have never seen a wedding where nearly everyone was up dancing! Nearly everyone has said to me that it was the best wedding they have ever attended. I am also from out of state and my wedding coordinator Denise was so great in answering my MANY questions. I would recommend the Florentine Gardens to any bride and groom. I have been to several other North Jersey venues and this one is by far the best!

I can't say enough good things about The Estate at Florentine Gardens. Mike Huxtable, Sal Travis, Carolina, Jeffrey and the entire staff made all of our wedding dreams come true. One specific moment that stood out was when one of the younger guests was upset, Mike Huxtable approached her and asked her what was wrong. As soon as he found out that she wanted french fries, they appeared at her seat immediately.
Even when we were going over our menu during the planning process, there were never any problems with the various dietary concerns our guests had or any special requests that we had. Mike Huxtable was a great help during the entire process and had such wonderful suggestions regarding where to take photos in between the ceremony and reception and how to decorate the dining hall.
We used Sal Travis for the lighting and videography and we couldn't have been more impressed and pleased. The wrap-up video was one of the best things we decided to have at our wedding and everyone loved it. What you have heard is true, you will love watching it the day after, over and over again. There is no way for me to accurately describe how unforgettable our wedding was. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, the service was amazing. Our wedding coordinator Michael Huxtable was there for me at every point during the planning process. They day of, he was constantly making sure everything and everyone were having a great time. Carolina, the bridal attendent was unbelievable. From bringing us food, fixing my broken bustle, and cleaning the grooms stained shirt, she never stopped amazing me.
One thing everyone said was that the food was delicious. The cocktail hour blew all of my guests away. They couldn't believe that EVERYTHING was good. The house band had everybody dancing all night long. Sal, lived up to his promises and reputation in making a once in a lifetime event.

What can I say about The Estate at Florentine Gardens... I had went to a wedding over 10 years ago there and I fell in love with it then. When I walked in to see the new ballroom and meet with my event planner I fell even more in love. From the second my fiancee, our family and I walked in we were treated like royalty every step of the way. Maria, our wedding planner, was the best! Everything and anything I asked her for was done. She went above and beyond to make my husband and I's wedding day magical and it was just that. Our maitre'd Anthony and our bridal attendant Carolina were phenomenal. We also used the amazing Sal Travis & the house band as well as Giovanni, an italian singer and reel moments through the estate at florentine gardens. Everything was seamless. Our wedding was over 4 months ago and everyone is still talking about it. It you want an elegant top notch wedding where not only the bride and groom but all of your guests are treated like royalty then go there!

This place is unbelievable. We knew it was going to be awesome but they really surpassed our expectations. It was AMAZINGGGG! The staff was professional and courteous. They were very very on top of their game and took the event extremely seriously. The tall ceilings, fantastic lighting system, beautiful gardens, awesome staff made our day super special. A guest of ours lost a button on his shirt, and the staff noticed it and sewed his button back! My wife and I did not worry about one thing because they were reading our minds before we even had time to ask for anything. Carolina the Bridal Assistant was soooo wonderful! And the dessert table was out of this world. Endless desserts topped off the night. Florentine only does one event at a time, not two like most others. Their staff is 100% committed to your wedding only! I can go on allll day on how beautiful, professional, and tasteful the Estate of Florentine Gardens is. Michael the event consultant was by far the best consultant we met with. He remembered everything we asked for and really payed attention to what we were looking for and went beyond his expectations to help us out. He was very professional and very easy to work with. Sal Travis and his DJs, Bridal Assistant Carolina, and Jeff the Maitre D were all super awesome and very professional all the way through. I searched many venues before deciding on the Florentine Gardens for my wedding day and I can honestly say that none of the venues took my breath away like this one. Sal Travis, who is in charge of the videography and theatrical packages, added a completely different aspect that not many other facilities offer. From the photo booth, montage videos, and wrap-up video, it took our wedding to the next level and as many of my guests put it, they've "never been to a wedding like this before in their lives". Everyone wanted to know how I found this place! Michael Huxtable was my planner/coordinator and did a great job! Any questions or concerns were always answered promptly and thoroughly. I was completely at ease the day of my wedding and knew that everything would be under control and run smoothly. All the staff we interacted with were attentive, quick and kind. The Florentine Gardens exceeded everyones expectations. You hope to have a perfect wedding venue, and the entire staff delivered! Our maitre d' Jeff was the leader, and made sure all our guests were treated like royalty. The bridal attendant, Carolina really lived up to her title. Any song his band sang sounded like the original group. A must to get is "The Wrap Up" video. It is shown to all the guests during dessert, and everyone watching it was very excited. The food is both abundant, and top quality. The rooms are immaculate, and the grounds are impeccable. Throughout the evening, our guests kept coming up to us saying they have never experienced a wedding like the one at the Florentine Gardens. I can't imagine any place can compare to it. I lost 2 of my bouquet flowers when taking pictures before the ceremony and Nadia was quick to get my florist who was still around to fix my bouquet, she also steamed parts of my dress that needed some retouch, cleaned my dress from all the branches that the tulle had picked up and was very attentive and kept me calmed before the ceremony. Denise also made the whole planning process easy as she seemed genuinely excited for us. She is very friendly and I really felt that she did everything she could to keep us happy. She was also very easy to communicate with and I really enjoyed working with her. She even got us bagels the morning of since we had to be there bright and early. Josh was just as amazing, he constantly checked on my fiancé and I and made sure that we had everything we needed and even made sure I had coffee ice-cream which wasn’t one of our flavors. It’s funny how they all had earpieces and whatever we said we needed they made sure that whoever was the closest was getting it for us, I heard them say many times…bride needs this…groom needs this..it kind of reminded me of Jennifer Lopez in the wedding planner.

Words honestly can not express how AMAZING Florentine Gardens is. Not only are their grounds and ball room breath taking, but their staff is top notch and bend over backwards for their clients and their clients' guests. The attention to detail from the very 1st moment was impressive and it only became more attentive as the wedding became closer. They strive for perfection and execute exactly that. Our family and friends can not stop talking about the place, the FOOD, the entertainment that Florentine provided for us, the lights, the staff... this place has it all and they gave my husband and I our dream wedding x's 10. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect thanks to Maria Daidone, Mike Hux, Sal & the very talented "Salvations" band. Maria was an absolute pleasure to work with...she answers questions you don't even know you have...making the whole wedding planning process so easy! I met Mike the day of our wedding...he was so fun & easy going, I felt comfortable & worry free from the moment I met him. That day I also met Nancy (my bridal attendant) & Jeffrey (the maitre d)...who were both amazing! The band was phenominal!! They kept everyone dancing the whole night! Sal was great also...he loves what he does & it shows. We were able to customize a package...we loved the lighting & the wrap up video, but we didn't want the slideshow of pictures or the wrap up video shown on the screens & Sal made it all possible. We also loved the photo booth & so did all of our guests...the best part is looking at the CD of images & seeing some crazy pictures! The food was delicious!! They even walked around asking anyone if they wanted to try the other entree's. The compliments can seriously go on forever...Thank you to everyone at The Florentine Gardens for a job well done!!

Florentine Gardens was simply amazing. From the contract signing to picking up the top tier of the cake the morning after, the entire staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. They were like a partner: suggesting refinements to our ideas; once we made a decision, they executed it flawlessly; and they gave us suggestions we never even thought of. The food was absolutely amazing: assortment; quality; taking advantage of seasonal ingredients; and presentation all combined to make for an outstanding cocktail hour and reception. Michael Huxtable, our coordinator, was amazing: from helping us refine the menu to emailing the bride with weather updates the week before our wedding. He was excellent to work with in the planning of our wedding and very attentive. Nancy, the bridal attendant, seemed to read our minds before we even formed a thought. The entire building looks as if it was constructed last year. While it has character and warmth, nothing is worn out or looks like it needs a new coat of paint. Everything was always immaculately clean, even the giant lobby chandalier looked like it had just been cleaned, and sparkled like new every time we went there.

We cannot say enough about Florentine Gardens and the staff. We can honestly say that now that it is over, we do not have one single complaint or criticism. It was a perfect evening.

My husband and I were married on March 17, 2012. We knew when we booked The Estate as Florentine Gardens we had made the right choice for our venue. We could never have anticipated the outstanding job done by the entire staff. Michael Huxtable, our event consultant far surpassed our expectations of what we envisioned for our wedding reception. He was so responsive, always available to us when we had any questions. He made us feel at ease with every aspect of our planning. Our maître de was also amazing in executing every part of our reception without making us feel overwhelmed or smothered. Last but not least, my bridal attendant, Carolina, was like my shadow the entire night without being intrusive or overbearing. She was a god sent to me during the reception. We had relatives from Australia and Italy here for our wedding and they were floored by the amazing food and service they received. It is over a week after our wedding and we are still receiving phone calls and comments on how wonderful our reception was. We also added the Sweets, Smoke and Jazz hour to our reception and it was a huge hit amongst all of our guests. It was something different that no one in our families had ever seen at another wedding. The overwhelming satisfaction on the food, décor, service is exactly what you want after months of planning a wedding. We owe this all to the amazing staff at Florentine Gardens.

My husband and I were married here on February 25th, and there are simply not enough words to describe how amazing the entire team at the Florentine Gardens was.

Our main contact was Michael and he could not have been more helpful throughout the entire planning process. He gladly answered ALL of our questions (even the crazy ones) and always made us feel like the most important couple in the building. He was always there with great advice and was amazing during the whole event. He even helped us out in a tough spot when one of our "outside" vendors dropped the ball.

The cocktail hour was epic. My husbands relatives from the midwest nearly fainted when the saw the spread...it was that amazing.

Geoffry (Maitre'D) and Carolina (Bridal Attendant) also were worth their weight in gold. Making sure everything ran smoothly and always there when any hiccup arose.

The venue is beautiful, the food is amazing, and the service is top notch. What else can you ask for?

The most romantic and classically beautiful venue ever. Florentine Gardens is so stately; the two-story ballroom with the elegant wall of windows is breathtaking. There is no venue more gorgeous than this. The food and service were exceptional. If you want your wedding to go exactly as planned, then book it at The Estate at Florentine Gardens.

We held our wedding at The Estate at Florentien Gardens in January 2012 and we couldn’t be more satisfied. From the consultation to each meeting everyone at The Estate was wonderful to work with. We loved that they only hold 1 event at a time. There is nothing more special than knowing your event is at the most important thing that day to all the staff. There wasn't 1 thing we lacked. Our guests CANNOT stop complementing us on such a wonderful venue. Not only was the food out of this world, but the service matched perfectly. We worked with Denise and she helped us acheieve a wedding that was personalized for us and she made all our ideas come to life. The grounds are beautiful, even in January! We have lots of wonderful pictures taken outside. I recommend the house Band!! There is not another band anywhere else that compares to this band. They will play anything you want them to. Also, the light package is a definite must!! Our room was lit up in a purplely-blue which took everyone by surprise. It looks great in pictures too.
The care and attention to detail for each element of our wedding was shown. Our favors were displayed at the exact time and place we requested. Our personalized ice sculpture was exactly what we wanted. They had all the alcohol we requested. I loved that a special table was set up for my husband and I in the Bridal suite so we can tast anything and everything we wanted from the cocktail hour. We actually ate at our wedding which is a lot more than I can say for many of our friends' own wedding experiences. We didn't feel rushed at all. I was able to dance, mingle with guests all while keeping the schedule of the night. We even had White Castle burgers waiting in the lobby for our guests as they were leaving! Overall, this is an outstanding venue. You must have your event there!! We only wish we can one day attend an event there to experience what it's like being a guest at The Estate.

The Estate at Florentine Gardens is an exceptional wedding venue. We looked at many halls before deciding on the Florentine. Ultimately, we chose the Florentine because it struck the perfect balance between elegance and comfort; it is grand but not ostentatious. As we went through the process of planning our wedding, we knew that we had made the right choice. The staff at the Florentine is responsive, and they are not only willing but excited to tailor your wedding to your family. Each staff member makes the effort to know who you are and make you feel at home, whether you are coming in for a tasting at the very beginning of the process or dropping off favors just a few days before your wedding.

The day of the wedding, the Florentine went above and beyond what we could have imagined. The food was exceptional, and over two months later, the guests are still raving about the cocktail hour, the meal, and the Viennese hour. The staff was attentive to every guest’s needs. My husband and I did not have to worry about a thing that day, and it was because of the hard work of the staff that we were able to simply enjoy everything about our reception without ever having to worry about the time or what was supposed to happen next. Before my husband and I would say to each other that we needed something, someone would be right behind us to take care of it. From the moment we stepped out of the car, our parents and our bridal party were well taken care of as well. We could not have asked for a more attentive, kind, and generous staff.

We did choose to do the wrap-up video, and it was a decision I am very happy we made. We hesitated to do it because of the cost, but the video is something we will cherish for the rest of our lives. The guests are still talking about it, and I have shown it to a number of people who were not at the wedding. It’s just the right length, and it captures the beauty of the day in a way that still pictures cannot.

We had the most amazing time at Florentine! Every staff was just amazing!!! The Estate at florentine Gardens will give you the wedding of your dreams! I just got married there this past november and i could not have been more pleased with them. First off let me say that Denise was Amazing!!!!! Such a delight to work with and will bend over backwards to help you in any way you can! She was always there for me at a moments notice and was able to answer any questions i had. i really enjoyed working with her, and she really made me feel like i was the only person she was working with. Always gave me 100% attention all the time. The day of the wedding she was by myside and helped me get through the day, i even made sure to take a picture with her at my wedding just to make sure i remember how honored i was that she was there to help us have an amazing day. The place it self is a dream, the food AMAZING! i dont think there was one bad thing anyone said about the night. My family have been to a lot of weddings, and this was by far the best one they have had in a long time. The Cocktail hour was unreal, so much food and good food at that. you will be very impressed with the presentation and decor they provide inorder to make the room look warm, inviting, and classy. People are still raving about the wedding and its been 3 months.
We had the House Band as well as all the Video/Montage/Wrap-up video/up lighting with sal entertainment. He was OUT OF THIS WORLD! not only was the band a sensation..sal really knows how to set the tone to make everyone up and moving the whole night. People were up dancing the every single minute. The band was amazing, everyone still cant believe it was a band that was playing, they all said they didnt realized when the band was playing or if it was a DJ..thats how exact they sounded. They even went into the crowd while singing almost like a concert and got the crowd going and jumping and moving. Even my grandmother was up the whole night dancing and shes 80!! They had songs for all generations and you would be missing out if you didnt get them. The montage and wrap up brought tears to peoples eyes and gave us a nice token to go home with. Sal was amazing and made our dream wedding a reality. I would reccomend the florentine gardens any day any time and at any place. My husband was beyond impressed and it will be a memory of a lifetime!

Romance. Elegance. Magnificence. These are the three qualities that were important to us as we started our search for venues. Hours and hours of searching through the blogosphere, websites, and wedding magazines, we narrowed our choice down to three venues. However, as soon as we stepped into the foyer of The Estate at Florentine Gardens, our decision was already made. And as you can guess, there is so much more to the Estate than the foyer.

Our consultant, Oliver Leoni, was not only extremely personable, but also equally attentive to both the bride and groom. He first led us through the beautiful cocktail room and described the many different stations that they could offer during our cocktail hour. We were then led out through glass doors leading out onto the Estate’s outdoor cocktail area and the surrounding grounds. The grounds were impeccable & beautiful – the stone gazebo and the white-lit trees set a very romantic scene that we instantly fell in love with. It was when we stepped foot into the ballroom, however, that the spell was cast. We fell in love with the ballroom from the second that Oliver opened the doors – we knew in our hearts that it would be the place we would celebrate the start of our life together. The Estate at Florentine Gardens met all three of our requirements and then some.

Our wedding at the Estate at Florentine Gardens on November 11th, 2011, was perfect in every way. Oliver was always attentive and happily answered every anxious question that I had. Any personal touch we requested, he made sure it happened for us. Sal Travis was absolutely wonderful to work with. In the months, weeks, and days leading up to the wedding, he was there helping us plan our music & video, and assuring us that everything would be perfect. And on the day of our wedding, Oliver, Sal, along with Geoffrey (our maître d') and Nancy (my bridal attendant), were there to make sure everything went smoothly. They were by our sides from the moment we pulled in front of the building to the moment we had to say goodbye. Everything was perfect. Four months later, our friends and family are still raving about our wedding. The food was delicious, the DJ was amazing along with lighting and the jaw-dropping “wrap-up video,” the service was flawless, and they even made sure I had extra sour cream whipped potatoes since I loved them so much at the food tasting. Our wedding consultant was Oliver Leoni, the guy is straight up money. He's enthusiastic, knows his stuff and makes you feel totally relaxed. While most places cater to just the bride I found this venue made us men feel welcome and took care of us all the way through.

Sal Travis is the director of entertainment, and he too is a class act. Took care of everything from video to lighting to music and MC. Superb! If you decide to use the in-house entertainment package, highly recommended! My wife surprised me with Mr. Met at our wedding and they were totally cool with it and seamlessly integrated him into the celebration. In short, excellent food, excellent service, excellent staff and gorgeous grounds/rooms. Everyone who attended could not stop gushing about this place and the night overall!

Why choose the Florentine Gardens? Because my guests are still raving about the amazing food and the beautiful grounds. Because the staff provided not only lavish service, but because they went above and beyond, helping a guest clean and dry a child's dress that became soiled. Because every idea I brought to Denise Downing was met with the phrase "We can make that happen," and they did.

I can't say enough about this place...just look at the ballroom and you'll know what I mean. This place is magnificent. The ballroom has high ceilings, and windows everywhere, looking out into gardens and trees wrapped in lights. The bridal suite is humongous.. Cocktail hour is fabulous, lavish, delicious... And the people who work here...AMAZING. We had the privilege of working with Denise Downing...who is on top of everything. She is prompt, gets back to your emails and phone calls... She is fun, and has a great energy about her that is contagious... My husband and I will miss meeting with her to go over wedding details. And the entertainment crew is amazing as well...headed by Sal Travis.. We did a wrap-up video which is a 4 minute video of our day that was provided to us at the end of the night.. Call far in advance, as it books quickly. Theres a wedding day here for every bride's budget...

I really have to start at the beginning, one year ago, when we and our son in law's parents first came to see FG.. Denise's warmth, enthusiasm & confident explanation of all FG could offer us, coupled with the beautiful grounds, the cocktail hour room with TABLES & CHAIRS (yeah!), the beautiful ball room, the ability to transform a daytime affair into what felt like a nighttime one by lowering the shades, etc quickly sealed the deal. Your unbridled endorsement of Petals Premier's talents, of Sal's house band's renown, of Milton Gil's photographic skills all served to simplify what would become our long distance maneuvering.
Each time we met with you, each time I e-mailed you, my "leap of faith" seemed less daunting. As the date drew nearer, and the floral decisions, cake selection, hotel reservations, etc were all finalized, I realized that I was able to orchestrate a wedding from 2 1/2 hours away because we had YOU as our fulcrum, keeping everything in balance.
And then suddenly it was the week of the wedding, and you added still one more essential element: CALM! No matter how many concerns I raised, you were your same reassuring, smiling, positive self...which went a LONG way in calming my anxieties. I knew we had definitely chosen well....
How well however I truly couldn't know until the day of the wedding. From the moment we arrived at FG that morning, until your staff had everything ready to pack up in our car afterwards, EVERYTHING was magical! Adam's vision of a chuppah in the round was an intimate, warm setting that had everyone feeling as if they weren't just spectators, but rather participants in our daughter's ceremony....and the fall jewel tone colors that Adam suggested for the bouquets & centerpieces made the visual impact a stunning one!
The cocktail hour was both a visual and a culinary feast- all the reviews I'd read didn't really do it justice. Our guests loved feasting on seafood skewers, sweet potato risotto, lamp chops, Chinese stir fry, and too many other options to name (and that's without any upgrades!).....and that was just the beginning....
As promised, Sal had our guests out on the dance floor non-stop....No one could believe this was the "house band" because they were so incredible! And through it all, superior service by white- gloved attentive staff made all of our guests feel very honored to have been invited, and made us feel very special because our every need was immediately addressed. Even our daughter's issues printing out her Matron of Honor toast was remedied by your staff quickly re-typing a hard copy of her speech. Nothing was too much to ask. And when the bus bringing guests from Manhattan got lost, you calmed all of us by simply delaying the start of the ceremony 10 minutes. That attention to detail delivered in a "we can do this" manner is truly priceless when dealing with anxious parents!!!
It was an absolute delight to have worked with you Denise & I would highly recommend that anyone considering a wedding in northern NJ sign with FG & then sit back & relax, confident that the day will be spectacular! The staff and attendants were there to assist with everything my guests or I might need at a moments notice. I did not worry about one thing the entire day because they took care of every last detail. The ceremony, cocktail hour and reception ran so smoothly due to all of their hard work. The food is magnificent to say the least!! So many menu options leaves every guest pleased with the food. The cocktail hour was stunning and the reception dinner was 5 star. Sal Travis (entertainment) had everyone on their feet dancing all day! My guests are still raving about what an outstanding time they had and I will never forget one moment of my time spent here. I am so happy my husband and I chose this place for our wedding. As soon as I walked into the Florentine Gardens I immediately knew that was the place where I wanted to get married. Compared to other places and taking into account the quality of the service, food and the beautiful venue, this place is very affordable and having the entire venue to yourself is priceless. We worked with Noelle from day one and she was wonderful, very responsive and extremely helpful. I am a control freak and as soon as I arrived at the Florentine Gardens on my wedding day I started asking questions about all the details, but soon realized that these people had everything under control so I was able to let go and simply enjoy what has been the best day of my life. People are still talking about my wedding, the beautiful venue and how good the food was. The presentation of the food was exquisite from the cocktail hour to the vienese hour. We got the entertainment package: lights, DJ, video, wrap up video, etc. and were extremely happy with our choice. No matter the cost, it was all worth it. \r\nI strongly recommend this place; they made our day perfect.

What can I say about the Florentine that has not already been said?? This, in my opinion, is the NUMBER 1 place to have your wedding - not just because the decor is amazing...not just because the food is amazing.....but the staff is a step above and it is all led by Noelle Gisonde - she certainly made this night THE best for my Friends and I - we never wanted for anything - she was right there making sure everyone was happy & fed very very well - she was even right there for us with things we did not even know we wanted - truly a top notch professional!! Make sure to ask for her when you book your affair - you will be relaxed all night, not have to think of one thing and have the time of your life - I guarantee it!!!

This place is beautiful and well worth the money. All our guests are still talking about how great the wedding was and its been almost a year. The service was great. The only thing is I think they should drop the amount of people you have to guarantee down a little so more people could have there wedding here or make sure you try to negotiate that before you sign the contract. We had to gurantee 175 and ended up only having about 150 guests. A lot of money was wasted there but they wouldn't budge after I explained our situation. They did let me bring some dinners and food home but it def did not equal the value we spent for the 25 guests. Our maitre was just excellent. She was there any and everytime you needed her. The lighting is also a must for the room. It totally makes the whole place look even better than it already does.

I just recently had my wedding at the Florentine on Sept 2nd and I truly can say it was absolutly PERFECT I wouldn't of changed a single thing! The Florentine is 100% the best place to have a wedding, or any party! The service and production that was put on was absolutely mind blowing! Everyone is STILL talking about it and saying it was the best wedding that they have EVER been to!! I watch the video wrap up everyday and I still cant believe how perfect everything turned out. Everyone wants to go back ASAP because the food and service, the music and entertainment was just AWESOME! I really can't express how EXCELLENT the service was, especially for both my husband and I. I felt like a movie star for sure! The service and attention the Florentine gives not only the bride and groom but the guests is just amazing. I could go on and on about how perfect everything was, but I wont! You HAVE HAVE HAVE to have your wedding, or any event here! You will NOT be sorry!

I cannot rave enough about The Estate at Florentine Gardens on September 15, 2007 (we had 225 people)- everything was fantastic! I worked with Noelle Gisonde the entire time and she was so helpful and patient. The atmosphere was exactly how I envisioned it...the piles and piles of food were delicious...the grounds were beautiful for photos. Jeffrey was our maitre'd and he was unobtrusive and wonderful - there wasn't a single point in the entire night when I needed anything.
