Lisa and her team made Glenn and I such a wonderful cake we will never forget..the cake tasted amazing and unique, not to mention the cost was very very reasonable. I'll recommend Lisa for any future bride and groom looking for unique and custom made cake that will reflect their unique tastes...and no, the guy's preference will always be included!!! Lisa @ Flour Confections was incredibly professional and is top notch. Her cakes are delicious and made with much love and care. She was able to make our dream cake possible and it was literally the focal point of our wedding just as we wanted it to be...we asked for a giant doughnut cake and giant is exactly what we got. Her attention to detail was very evident in the final product...looks and taste! Flour Confections comes highly recommended not just for weddings but for any occasion. The price is right on this one!

Lisa was fantastic to work with. We brought in a very unique wedding cake design and she duplicated it and put her own twist on it to make it perfect for our special day. The tasting of the different cake flavors was truly and exciting experience. We choose the 'Pink Lemonade' which was absolutely divine. Lisa...there was not a single piece of cake remaining. Every morsel was devoured. I'm coming back to see you for our next anniversary cake. You and your service was 100% perfection.

I have been to a lot of weddings and eaten a lot of cake. Flour Confections when above and beyond to create an amazing cake for us that fully incorporated all aspects of our fusion wedding. The art design was spectacular and the cake itself was absolutely delicious!
I had guests come up to me and actually ask if there was any cake left over (which there wasn’t) could they take it home!
When I got engaged I had this image of this huge beautiful 4 tier cake being one of the focal points of the hall.. All night long I had people tell me just how beautiful the cake was. When FC sketched out the cake for me I knew it was going to be what I wanted – but they really surpassed all my expectations! They were a pleasure to work with – We could not imagine having anyone else to have helped make our wedding day so special.

We couldn't have asked for a more perfect experience. From the beginning Lisa was so easy to work with, and knew exactly what we had in mind. Our cake was beautiful, and melted in your mouth!!! We would defently use Lisa again!!

Lisa is awesome!!!!!!! She was so easy to work with and we couldn't have been happier with our wedding cake!!! We had cupcakes as well as 2 small rounds on top for traditional cutting. She was so helpful in the beginning stages of planning, suggesting many ideas that we ended up loving. Lisa also put together a candy buffet for us, incorporating the colours of our wedding (blue white silver). The candy buffet turned out better than we had ever imagined - it looked like something right out of a magazine. We didn't have to worry about finding the candy or jars - lisa took care of everything!!!! She even set aside candy for us in a box at our head table - a nice touch that we appreciated!!!!! We will continue to use Lisa for any other cakes in the future (she's already done 2 birthday cakes for us!) as well recommend her to all of our friends and family!!!! Thank you Lisa!!

I can't say enough great things about Lisa and the work she did for us! We had many changes to our wedding due to the poor economy. My (now) husband had lost a couple of jobs during the planning process and Lisa was flexible and worked with us every step of the way to make this day special for us.

Originally we were going to have a "traditional" 3-tier cake and a smaller groom's cake shaped like our Pug, Pugsley. In the end, we opted to enlarge the size of the Pug cake and eliminate the traditional cake all together. We are SO GLAD that we did! The cake was AMAZING! Some guests thought it was a statue! The taste of the cake was amazing and the guests all really enjoyed it. It's been about 2 weeks since our wedding and we are still getting compliments about the cake!

One thing is certain, when the memory of the wedding starts to fade in time, the memory of the cake will be the one that never dies!

Great job Lisa and I can't wait to recommend you to anyone I know who needs a cake in the future! Truly an amazing, exciting cake that really made our day even more special!

Flour Confections supplied my daughters Wedding Cake and Grooms cake. I cann't say enough about how spectacular both cakes were. Everyone will be talking about these cakes for a long time. We really didn't know too much about purchasing wedding cakes. After our consultation and sharing our ideas, we received nothing short of the best. These cakes were not only amazing looking but also tasted fantastic.

After speaking to several wedding cake companies and reviewing their websites...we chose to meet Lisa in person. Our initial impression as 'WOW...look at how clean and state of the art her bakery is!"

Lisa at Flour Confections was so incredibly easy to work with, and accommodating of our every request. I gave her a vague description of what I was looking for, and she drew me a diagram on the spot that encompassed everything I wanted.

Lisa only uses the best ingredients, and she went through her whole baking process for us. I was very confident in the quality of her product, and the taste spoke for itself! We tried several different flavours of cake, and they were all spectacular. The cake tasting was the best part of the wedding planning process!

On the day of the wedding the cupcakes, cutting cake, rented tower, and boxes were delivered and set up on time, and without any issues. They looked beautiful, and we got so many compliments. Our guests went absolutely wild over the cupcakes; they were a big hit. I can only recommend that you order extra Chinese take out boxes. Our guests loved them so much, we ran out in no time.

I never thought that my wedding cake was an important aspect to my dream wedding, but after seeing the amazing and stunning romantic cake that Lisa created for me, I know that it truely made my venue sparkle and added the extra touch of elegance I was looking for.

Not only was it stunning - it tasted out of this world! I've never heard guest of a wedding rave about the wedding cake before...but without a word of lie, it's the most moist and tastiest cake I've ever ate!

From our initial visit to have a taste of a variety of cakes right to the wedding day, we were in regular contact and changes were made as needed/requested by us as we changed our minds. Lisa , the owner of Flour Confections, was fantastic to work with - she listened to all of our ideas and provided us with several sketches and quotes and worked with us to combine various aspects of those options into the perfect wedding cake. Setting up a tasting appointment was made easy and upon arriving Lisa made us feel comfortable and important. After sampling various flavours of cake and butter creams we finally decided to go with a Gluten-free cake as the mother of the bride and several family members have celiac/wheat allergies. Flour Confections is one of the only vendors around that offers this alternative and, despite my initial skepticism, the gluten-free was perhaps the best cake I have ever tasted.
Prior to our big day Lisa worked with our florist to get the appropriate flowers needed for our cake which alleviated alot of stress on us. On the big day, Lisa delivered and assembled the cake at the venue. It was stunning. We received countless compliments on the intricate detail and unique touches that she added, and even more when the cake was cut and served!
Since booking Flour Confections for our wedding I have also used Lisa to make a gluten free birthday cake for my mother's 50th party. Again - the most delicious cake I have ever found. I would not hesitate to use Flour Confections again and would recomment Lisa to anyone looking for a high-quality wedding cake.
