Flower Allie

Flower Allie was AMAZING!!! I met with her twice over the course of wedding planning and went over everything that we wanted and how to accomplish the 'look' we were going for! She is super easy to work with and gives her honest opinion. When I walked into our reception room I nearly fainted- I know it was a collaboration of vendors and wedding planning- but her flowers blew me away! It looked amazing!!! All of my guests were shocked as well and were completely impressed!

She was on time and set-up as planned! (and was great to work with according to my DOC (www.platinumweddinsgbykerrie.com) ) Everything was done perfect- exactly as we had planned in the meetings! I can't thank Allie enough for being a great vendor and following through. I have some pictures in my Bio page if you want to see her creation for our wedding...

On a side note- I know some brides are concerned with her communication. I thought email worked best (and sometimes a forward) as well as being organized. Rather then calling for questions routinely- I would email her the few questions I had to get it done, same for at meetings- just be prepared and take advantage of your time. Shes a busy girl, but still there for you if you need her... Just don't be shocked by this, she'll admit to it too haha- so no surprises people :) Just go for it- shes definitely worth it and will complete your day!!! Honestly, I'm not a flower person- but after the wedding I had a REALLY hard time letting them go- I was almost in tears- I wish they could have lasted forever!

Allison blew me away with our flowers. I loved my bouquet, and the pink bouquets she created for the bridesmaids were absolutely gorgeous. The altar arrangements were so lush and beautiful - I was truly amazed! The cake decor was as I had requested - very elegant. The chiffon fabric treatment was very pretty, and though Allison tells me that chiffon is very difficult with which to work, she did such a great job and I love how they looked in pictures.

My only wish is that I had a larger budget for the centerpieces - something a bit more lush and full and with flowers that matched our bouquets. I was a bit underwhelmed with the centerpieces; however, they were still very beautiful. One or two tables were missing centerpieces only because the coordinator did not tell her which tables to skip (kids table and reserve table). The banquets manager gave her the incorrect information, so I was a bit sad to see that one table in particular was missing a centerpiece. I wish I had caught it earlier. I did not get to see a final mock centerpiece, but she did make a few samples along the way (not using the actual flowers or colors). I also do not know what happened to my mini bouquet/toss bouquet. We could not find this during the reception.

Allison called me a week prior to let me know that she could order the peonies in July after all! A++ for this! She was willing to work within our budget and was always friendly at our meetings. She truly has a passion for her work and it shows! We have received a lot of accolades for the floral decor from families and friends.

I had met with a number of vendors before booking Allison. Out of the florists, I felt that she would work with me best on customizing the flowers to what I had envisioned. She does not have cookie-cutter designs and listened well to everything I described and gave me her input and suggestions. She is very knowledgeable and works hard to make your wedding beautiful. Allison and her staff even took on some extra duties for a reasonable fee: placing on our satin wrap chair covers.

Allison is a very busy woman; thus, most of the time, it was almost impossible to reach her. She had moments where she was available and e-mailing regularly and/or taking calls. Other times, my phone messages and e-mails were left unanswered for weeks on end. This would be the only area of improvement that I see. She is; however, very upfront about it all. She could probably use a staff person delegated solely to returning calls/e-mails because I am sure she receives tons of inquiries, especially since everyone loves her and she is so stretched at times. However, I do believe that a vendor should give his/her clients the courtesy of a return call/e-mail in a timely manner. On the plus side, she is yours the week before your wedding. Thus, for communication, she is a C.

Overall, we are super happy to have had Flower Allie as our dream floral vendor. We were all gushing over the flowers! Each time I think about the flowers, I smile remembering how beautiful they were and how much they added to the wedding day. Despite the difficulties in reaching Allison, I have no reservations recommending her fully to families and friends. Allison is booked pretty solid, so catch her while she is available! Awesome job, Allison! Thank you!

Had a terrible experience with FlowerAllie!!
Allie was super nice at our meeting and sent us a proposal the same day (the lowest quote my planner had ever heard of) then went TOTALLY MIA! She wouldn't return my calls/emails or even those of my planner! It was SO unprofessional that we stopped trying to get a hold of her and just hired a different florist. I mean, if she is that rude and hard to get in contact with when we were TRYING TO GIVE HER MONEY, imagine how bad it would be once she had our money in-hand!

So disappointed with her.

I had really high hopes after reading all these reviews, so now I am much more skeptical of the reviews on here. Frankly, I am surprised that no one else had a similar experience with her, because I am having a VERY nice wedding so it would have been a large check in her pocket, so you would think she would work hard for my business, or at a minimum return a phone call or email.

Just so annoyed.

I was blessed to have so many wonderful vendors for my wedding, but one of my absolute favorites was Flower Allie.

I had met with several local florists, but right when I met with Allison I knew she would be the perfect florist for me--she loves her craft, has great taste and style and is willing to try new ideas. I can’t tell you how many times Allison and I met to discuss the vision for my florals, and each time I was blown away by how passionate she is about what she does and how much she cares about her clients. She was always patient when I had a new idea and always 100% honest with her feedback .

The day of my wedding, I was completely and utterly AMAZED with how beautiful the flowers were. My bridal bouquet was so full and lush and photographed beautifully in pictures! The pomanders at the church were gorgeous and all three of the different styles of centerpieces I had came out better than I had even imagined! I almost started crying when I walked into our ballroom and saw them for the first time! As a bride you spend so much time researching your flower colors, varieties and arrangements, and it’s so incredible when you see your vision executed to perfection. We received countless compliments on all the florals (from guests and other vendors), and my husband and I could not have been happier with how everything looked.

I’ve read other reviews that Allison can be hard to reach, and while this is true (she is an extremely busy lady!), I was always able to reach her when I really needed to and she was more than generous with her time when we met in person.

I would wholeheartedly recommend Flower Allie and feel so lucky that she was part of our wedding day!

Our flowers were *Amazing* and the hilight of our day! Allie worked very hard for us and with us in order to give us the feel we were going for on our budget. She went above and beyond on our day, delivering some of the most amazing pieces I've ever seen - including a special touch on my brides bouquet. Note for brides: she is very busy! She is worth the persistance to get in touch with - trust me!

Flower Allie was the first vendor I found through projectwedding.com and glad that I did. There were so many great reviews and I had to get see for myself what the fuss was all about. As their website says, they do the best $3000 to $4000 weddings! I went to another vendor for a consultation and with everything I wanted it would have been about $6000. I ordered 2 different kinds of tall centerpieces for our reception and was blown away. They were grand and spectalur! Allison was not cheap at all on the amount of flowers. The pics of the centerpieces are in my photos but they're not that great since they were taken by a friend's personal compact digital camera. Allison was able to provide all the wedding flowers I dreamed of and was able provide excellent input. Like other reviews, she is super busy and I found the best way to contact her is by phone.

Amazing, amazing, amazing. Honestly, I don't even know what to say about Allison. She and her team transformed our reception and ceremony into something that I could never have even imagined. I showed her inspiration pictures and then just told her to do whatever she wanted to do, and she did the most amazing job. We had a daisy lined walkway, hanging daisies on the gazebo, and wheat grass centerpieces. At the last minute, she also incorporated some (actually 350) origami cranes I made. I'm a little sad that the wedding is over, because I liked going to her flower shop and listening to her ideas and watching her create the most amazing centerpieces. I'm still speechless at how amazing everything turned out.

We met up with 5-6 vendors, and Flower Allie were the best. I had describe my style, color theme and location, and they create an exact sketch. We work very closely at the end to perfect all items. And Flower Allie suggested a lot of ideas that work exceptionally well with my theme.

I absolutely loved Flower Allie. I met with (honestly) every flower vendor in town. She was THOUSANDS cheaper and my flowers were perfect! Flowers are very important to me and I knew I wanted flowers to be everywhere during my wedding and reception. From our first meeting to my trial centerpiece to the big day she was a dream to work with. During our first meeting I thought I knew what I wanted. But in reality, I had no clue. Allison was the only florist to sit with me and ask tons of questions until she could see my vision as well. She made my entire flower dream come true and more. This review will be long because I really want you all to understand my experience with working with their company. On my wedding day, I had my bouquet in my hand and as I walked to see my ceremony site I dropped it in shock of how beautiful my ceremony site was. I snapped my huge bouquet in half, it was a nightmare. In a matter of seconds, she had a new bouquet ready for me and it was just as beautiful. She created extra arrangements for the entry way for free and surprised me with so many unexpected arrangements. She made my cocktail table flowers using left over flowers and vases and did not charge me for those. It was amazing how much she was willing to give to help make everything look beautiful. She stayed until after our ceremony to move the flowers in the Sheppard’s hooks into the bathrooms and other areas. She worked with me to stay within my budget and always had new suggestions to achieve the look I was hoping to have. I think the flowers speak for themselves but I still have people emailing me asking about the flowers from the wedding. Book with Flower Allie! You will not be disappointed!!!!!!! This woman is a dream to work with. Flowers were never a top concern for me but she managed to peak my interest and gave me the time to go through what I wanted and put together exactly what I asked for. When I changed my bouquet with two weeks to go she had no problem with the adjustments and was in addition able to order the 200 loose white orchids I was going to order online for the same price. Day of, my flowers arrived via my DOC and they were simply stunning! Everything held up to the ample abuse we put them through and still looked amazing by the end of the night (and two days after the wedding is still looked awesome).

Beautiful awesome flowers and great customer service! I worked with Jenni, and she was more excited about my flowers than I was. I let her run with some of the suggestions that she thought of that fit my budget, and the flowers couldn't have come out more beautiful and lush.

Allison is very passionate about her work. Many brides have used her.

I've worked with Allison on a handful of weddings. Her flowers are always perfect and stunning, and Allie herself is delightful.

The first wedding I worked on with Allie was also the first Bridezilla I encountered. I watched as Allie compared magazine pictures the Bride had given her to the work she had actually done. She made sure there was not a flower out of place. In the end, each arrangement looked like an identical copy of the pictures. They were unbelievably gorgeous!

Given that it was a wedding for a Bridezilla, I will report that the Bride stated the arrangements were not the right size and that the flowers did not look as fresh as she had hoped. I personally think the Bride was high. If I could post the pictures here (I can't for copyright reasons), I'm sure you would all agree with me.

WOW! I was absolutely thrilled when I walked into the bridal suites and saw the bouquets for the first time! Gorgeous! If I had to pick, the flowers might just be one of my favorite part of the wedding!
Allison is very talented! She is also very honest with you and will tell you whether or not your budget is reasonable for the flowers or type of arrangements that you want. I had a budget in mind for flowers that I did not want to exceed, and she was able to talk me through certain things, so that my budget will work, and it DID! In fact, I was able to go a bit under my budget.
She was not pushy at all and was very helpful. When I first walked in for my consultation, I didn't have a very clear idea of what I want for my flowers. She really helped me figured out what would compliment the venue, my dress, my BMs dresses and would pull everything together.

I highly highly recommend her! If you're shopping around for a florist, make sure you contact her first!

FLOWER ALLIE IS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!! We got married at the Cerritos Performing Arts Center and she transformed it into an elegant, beautiful, venue. I was worried because she is sometimes hard to get a hold of because she doesn't always answer your phone call. But that is because she is extremely busy. I would highly recommend her if you are not the type to be anal and if you can just trust her to do her job-- because she does it well. The flowers were fresh, she was on time on the day of the wedding and everything looked gorgeous. She gave me the best deal ever and even threw in tons of rose petals for our head table as well as each guest table. She helps you by making wonderful suggestions but she never tries to push you into spending more money--- she always gives you cheaper options. I HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER!!!!!!!!!!!

Allison did a fantastic job with our flowers! I know absolutely nothing about flowers and she gave all sorts of input. Without her, our flowers wouldn't have been flawless!

Allison did a WONDERFUL job on all my floral decor for my wedding. I had a vision of what I wanted and she executed it fully and even made suggestions on top of my ideas to help enhance everything. She goes out of her way to make sure you get what you want. Everyone raved about our flowers at our wedding and even fought over the centerpieces. Highly Recommend her!

Allie pays attention to every little detail and is so talented when it comes to putting together a floral scheme. The centerpieces, bouquets, aisle, cake, ceremony flowers, etc. on the day of the wedding were stunning. We got so many compliments on our flowers. There is one issue to be aware of though. Communication with Allie can be difficult and you have to be pretty pushy to get a hold of her. That was quite annoying for me, but her work on our wedding day blew me away, so I forgot all about it!

Flower Allie did an amazingly beautiful job on my wedding flowers! The whole entire night everyone just kept saying how wonderful and perfect they were! I was so happy with my bouquet and my girls' bouquets. Also, she did hanging flowers for me over the ceremony site which were great! They photographed so well!

I have to agree that it was sometimes hard to reach her, but never to the point where I was stressed out about it. There was never a doubt in my mind that the flowers would be perfect! I definitely recommend her!

I cannot begin to say how overly satisfied I was with my flowers. After not really knowing what to expect (because I was all over the place with what I wanted) Allison took all my likes and dislikes and created my perfect wedding flowers....far exceeding any expectations I had. I actually cried when I saw my boquet...It was so P.E.R.F.E.C.T.!!! It was everything I had imagined but never knew how to put into words. It was "me"...but in flower form! I would reccomend her to any bride looking for an affordable and talented florist. Not to mention that she loves the Angels!!! YAY!!!!

I found Flower Allie on The Knot message boards - she was very highly recommended by other So Cal brides. Flowers were very important to me and I shopped around a lot (I met with 5 other florists prior). But Allison had a great personality and was reasonably priced and I booked her immediately after our first meeting. I wouldn't say that she made the planning process super easy, I usually had to follow up with her to remind her what we discussed at meetings and she rarely returned emails. On two separate occasions, I showed up at what I thought was our "final meeting" only to find out that Allison was only expecting to show me a candelabra or get my input on something. In the end, I was very, very pleased with how my centerpieces and bouquets came out. They definitely looked like something out of platinum weddings! Some of the other things were a little underwhelming by comparison leaving me to believe that she perhaps just ran out of time - floral garlands and the toss bouquet were sparse and the boutonnieres were nothing more than a single flower wrapped in ribbon - not like the more detailed photos I had provided as a sample. I do not feel like I got my moneys worth on those items. In the end though, I would recommend Flower Allie based on the spectacular, well-priced centerpieces and bouquets that she created - every flower was super fresh and all of the bouquets lasted for days.

Flower Allie were a pleasure from the start. She is very easy to work with and also has wonderful ideas. Her style is all about customization which was great. I would recommend to anyone to visit Flower Allie.

Wow I cannot say enough about how beautiful the flowers were. Allison did such an amazing job. As soon as I walked into the bridal room and saw the bouquets I started to cry. Everything was so beautiful. I mean I knew that they were going to pretty, but I never imagined they would look that amazing.
At first Allison was not able to do my wedding, until Jennifer (my wonderful coordinator) convinced her to take pity on me. She doesn't usually go to my location since it is so far south. I was so pleased that Allison could help. She sat with me for three hours discussing flowers and my ideas for my wedding. She was able to show me flowers on the spot so we could see how they would look. She gave me her opinions without being pushy or rude. She ended up giving me a great price.
Allison and I spoke only days before the wedding and she was able to add wreathes for my flower girls hair and extra arrangements all at the last minute. She never once gave me any grief about adding flowers at such a late date.
My flowers were so fresh. I didn't have one petal that didn't look like it was in its prime, I was just floored at how beautiful they came out. The pictures will not lie.. they were wonderful. Allison was so nice each time I spoke to her. All my guests gushed about how amazing everything looked. Allison had the great idea to add lots of candles to my reception and it really just put the right mood to everything. I would recommend anyone to Flower Allie. She was one of my favorite vendors to work with. She was nice, very reasonable priced, she knew her flowers, she had great ideas, she worked fast and everything looked just amazing. I don't think my wedding would have looked 1/2 as good as it did if Allison was not my florist. If you are looking for a Florist make sure you call her FIRST!!!.

Flower Allie is incredibly dedicated to her work, and exceeded our expectations on our wedding day. Our flowers were gorgeous! Every guest at our 200 plus wedding said that they had never been seen more beautiful flowers at a wedding. I must agree! She even helped us hit a number that was below our budget in terms of cost. She went the extra mile to make sure that everything was perfect and that we were happy. Her staff was fantastic and efficient. Out of all our vendors, Flower Allie stood out as our favorite. Everything she put together was simply breathtaking and detail oriented. My bouquet was outstanding, and more beautiful than I ever imagined that it would be. Flower Allie is simply a MUST HAVE VENDOR. I plan to hire her for all other special occasions that take place in our lives, because there is no other business that even comes close to the caliber of service, quality of the flowers and the price that Flower Allie has to offer.

Allison is wonderful to work with and boy what an amazing flower artist! She gave me great ideas and I felt totally comfortable with everything she suggested. I wasn't clear about what I wanted especially with what was available seasonaly. The day of the wedding all bouquets centerpieces were perfect and my photos are proof of that. I highly recommend her. You'll never regret it!

I loved Allison! She was a little hard to get a hold of at times, but she came through wonderfully in the end, My flowers were so beautiful! I had to make changes and she handled them with no problem. The only thing I missed was my Toss bouquet, but in looking at photos, I guess it was on the Cake table and nobody told me so I had to throw one of my bridesmaid's bouquets, no big deal, Allison even reimbursed me for my mistake! She was great, I get all my flowers from her shop.

Allie was great to work with. I can think of no better way to describe it then she “gets you”. She knew exactly what I wanted without me having to tell her and the flowers were amazing. AND they lasted such a long time! We had fresh flowers in my apartment for almost a week!

Flower Allie did not miss a beat! The flowers Allison and her team provided were perfect and we still continue to get compliments. Her artistic vision was right on target with what we'd imagined. We would recommend Flower Allie to anyone!

Allison is so great!!! I had a hard time visualizing what I wanted but when I described our wedding, colors, etc to Allison, she created the PERFECT flowers and still kept the prices very very reasonable. I almost jumped up and down when I saw my bouquets. The church was done beautifully too with tulle and small bouquets at the gatherings. For our reception, we had just gotten the cake that came with the package but Allison made it look incredible with flowers that matched the bridesmaids bouquets. Our centerpieces were simple blue dendrobium orchids but our guests were clammoring to take them home. Can't rave enough about Allison, plus she is such a nice person to work with.

Flower Allie did a great job. Our flowers were absolutely beautiful. I came to her with a specific idea that I had seen once and she totally ran with it, turning it into the most beautiful arrangement I have ever seen. I love her creative & artistic approach. She is a little scattered but not so much that it creates an issue. She is super upbeat and really friendly. I am very happy with how everything turned out.

Flower Allie was one of my favorite vendors to work with. Her work is amazing as I got tons of comments on the flower arrangements. She gave me great suggestions for floral ideas. Just keep in mind that she is extremely busy so appointments are absolutely necessary to meet with her.

Allison ROCKS! She knows her stuff and helped me put together a seriously beautiful concept. She went above and beyond what I was expecting. And SO reasonable in cost. Can I give her 6 stars!?!

Wow - we couldn't believe how fantastic our flowers were, thanks to Flower Allie! Allison is so creative and has great ideas. She was a great resource in uncovering the style/type of flowers we wanted, and enhanced our colors with a creative combination of palms, lillies, and all sorts of other flowers we didn't even know existed previously! Where do I begin. I am a MOB, my daughter just had her wedding yesterday and it was simply beautiful. The flower arrangements were perfect just what we visioned for this day. I had complimetns all night on how beautiful the flowers looked. The bridal bouquet was spectacular the color was deep fuchsia. We had large overfilled arrangements for the tables 3 bouques of flowers, flower girl pomanders and a willow arch that was amazing. We had roses orchids buttercups dahlias gerber daisies and tulips. Allie is a lovely person she worked so hard to make sure we got what we wanted. She made us feel we were special and gave us her full attention and offered guidance along the way. If you are going to plan a wedding you will not be sorry if you use Flower Allie. Kudos Allie and Mr. Allie on a job well done. These memories will last forever.

Allie is very talented and great to deal with! She was able to help me decide what I wanted by making great suggestions all the while making sure it was exactly what I wanted. Her prices are great. The florals were more beautiful than I could have imagined and everyone complimented on them all day. I highly recommend her. Don't waste your time shopping around because no one else compares. I agree with all the good reviews other people wrote.

Flower Allie did my wedding last year and she did amazing work. My bouquet was huge! It was gorgeous! And you don't realize it until that day, but the thing weights a ton! My photographer said the bridesmaid's bouquet was the size of other florists bridal bouquets. Allie was a bit hard to communicate with and when I tried calling her they always told me she was not available. What was funny one time was that when the person taking the call repeated my name for the message she was writing, Allie took the phone call! Other than that, she was wonderful to work with. And I changed my flower design and wedding colors halfway through.

We had all tall centerpieces and they were beautiful. The roses and peonies were really big. I received numerous compliments on all the flowers. The bouquets, the pomander balls, the centerpieces, etc. She also gave me a great idea to use waterproof LED lights in the vases a cheaper alternative to doing pin spot lighting on the centerpieces. All in all, i love my wedding flowers and think she was a bargain!
