Antonia was flexible and worked very hard to make our cake design come to life. We're in the graphics profession so were very specific about what we wanted. Not only was the cake beautiful, but it was very tasty and fresh! I felt that it was worth the cost. Thank you, Flower Upon Flour!

Antonia from Flower Upon Flour was absolutely wonderful to work with. She was friendly, enthusiastic and full of good ideas. See helped me develop my vision for the cake that would best suit my wedding. I could not have asked for a better experience.

The cake was gorgeous and equally delicious. It was easily my favorite part of the wedding.

Antonia is an amazing cake designer. First off, the cake was delishious....exactly what we wanted, nothing over the top just simple and elegant. Secondly, she was incredibly open to the idea of keeping the look of the the cake architecturally pleasing. We had wanted a cake to be inspired by our favorote bulidng (the Chrysler Building) and Antonia did an incredible job! She listened to what we had wanted, offered suggestions when necessary and above all provided the best cake our guests and ourselves have ever had! I want to get married again so Antonia can make us another delicious cake!

About flower upon flour

The vision when I opened my business back in 2001 was to deliver to my clients something unusual -- a cake that is not only beautiful, but also delicious. Perhaps just as important is the time I spend with each client to make sure everything is perfect. I find this is the pleasure of a small boutique -- I have the time to give every client the care and attention their special event deserves. Many of my clients are celebrating a wedding, but I design cakes for all special occasions.

My design aesthetic is quite varied since every cake is a unique creation custom designed with each client. I have developed over the years a special artistry in sugar designs, including flowers and figurines, but the joy comes from being able to create whatever the client has in mind.
