Flowers by Appointment Only

Im out of town so we had to do everything by email and phone. Bill is lazy. I have to get on him to response and he doesnt remeber anything we talked about previous. I had to pick out my own flowers. Everytime I asked him he would just say look on my website. I had to constantly remind him that I dont want orchids which he kept bringing up and long and behold he used orchids for my wedding. Worst, he didnt leave any of the bouquets in a standing vase. He left them lying down so when you held them up one side of the bouquets were flat! None of the boutonniers looked like the pictures I picked out. They looked big , bulky, and tacky. The manzanitta trees wer also tacky in which he would change the price on me everytime I asked about them.

MR BILL IS AMAZING!!! we told him our budget and he gave us a beautiful wedding! He was willing to make changes to our order whenever we wanted and had a wonderful attitude the whole time! Couldnt ask for more :)

I was recommended to Bill by my wedding coordinator- she said no other vendor can put together the amount and quality of flowers for the price- he is located at the downtown flower mart, so he gets his prices at wholesale. Let me tell you- she was right. My flowers were very impressive and I spent a fraction of the price that I would have elsewhere. Sure, it was a pain to drive from the westside downtown to meet him, but totally worth the extra effort! Bill is a little eccentric and might not seem the most organized in emails, but he got everything right to the tee! I was very impressed and appreciative at how he went the extra mile to make my wedding beautiful and stay within my budget. Thanks Bill!

Bill was absolutely AMAZING! We looked through so many books and magazines and couldn't get a good idea of what we wanted. Not only that, we really don't know a whole lot about flowers. When we arrived we told him our theme, colors and every idea he had we loved. It was probably the easiest part of the entire planning process. The way he described what they would like did not do it justice. We am so happy that We put my trust in him and allowed him to work his magic. He created the most beautiful bouquets, centerpieces... that we could have ever dreamed of. When we saw some of our wedding pictures we could see why everyone complimented our flowers... they were perfect, made the room pop with color and fit our theme perfectly. I would highly recommend Bill. Trust in him, you won't be disappointed.

Bill was great to work with. We arrived with no ideas in mind. He sketched out ideas for us and grabbed random objects around the room to create a masterpiece custom made for us. He made 4 different boutonnieres for the groom to choose from on the wedding day. The flowers looked great and it was definitely the most flowers for the money requested; when compared to other vendors.

My fiance and I met Mr. Bill and all I can say is he is quite a character - in a good way. I don't really know much about flowers, but I brought pictures of what I had in mind to discuss with him. He took what I had brought him and added his floral knowledge to create what I think will be beautiful arrangements. And I love that he got so excited about my wedding flowers! I can't wait to see what he puts together!!

I felt that Bill and Michelle offered great service and were flexible with our price. My bouquet was stunning. There ceremony arch was better than I imagined it. Their attention to detail was wonderful, because I couldn't be there to oversee the project. I definitely had trust in their ability. I designed flowers to be put in small vases and was surprised that they would store the 170 vases as well as transport it all to us. THe only thing was that I thought there would be more vases on the table... but honestly, the most minor of details. Overall, the entire place was stunning and there were little vases on all the important display tables to add an accent. I was very happy with my choice and would do it with them again.

Mr. Bill is the BEST!!! We were referred to him through our reception venue, the FantaSea Yacht Club in Marina del Rey, and it was one of the best things to happen to our wedding!

Since he sells from the LA Wholesale Flower Mart in downtown Los Angeles, the prices are simply unbeatable. We got quotes from a few other florists for the exact same flowers we were ordering from Mr. Bill and they wanted to charge two and three times more than he charged us for the exact same thing. Because of this pricing, we were able to go with really gorgeous flower arrangements and have more flowers than we could have for the same price somewhere else.

Besides pricing, the best part about Mr. Bill and Michelle at this place is their enthusiasm, kindness, and willingness to help you find your vision and run with it. Mr. Bill was so receptive to our ideas/thoughts and helped us brainstorm the perfect bouquets and arrangements. When the day of the wedding came and I got to see the flowers in person, they were perfect and even more beautiful than I anticipated. They also lasted ALL DAY! No wilting or falling apart, etc. Everything looked as nice at the end of the night as it did when we got them at 10:00 am!

Mr. Bill can be bad about e-mailing back promptly, but is great on the phone and really does work his booty off for you. The pricing, service, and quality combined simply can't be beat otherwise.

Hiring Michele and Bill at Flowers By Appointment Only to do the flowers for our wedding ceremony and reception was one of the easiest decisions that we made! They came highly recommended by our reception site and I also read some great online reviews, but once I contacted them myself I knew we were in good hands.

From the very first call and email, Michele was so helpful in designing our day and helping to select flowers that were very "us". I'm not very knowledgeable about flowers...I see what I like and think is pretty, but that's about it! All I knew at the outset was that I was hoping for simple and elegant. Michele understood and respected that, listened to what we wanted and made suggestions, and before we knew it we had a plan!

Our in-house consultation with Mr. Bill and Michele was fun. We further identified everything we wanted for the day, from size and color/shade, right down to the color and type of ribbon and wrap. My husband even enjoyed the session! Bill and Michele guided us through the process, which was what we needed. We relied on their experience and expertise.

In the end, everything went off without a hitch. I was so confident in the team at Flowers by Appointment Only throughout the entire process, that I never even thought about the delivery on the day of our wedding....if it was on time, if it was correct....and of course everything went perfectly!

We had absolutely gorgeous flowers that complemented (not overshadowed) the overall look of our day. My bouquet was so stunningly beautiful that I got a little weepy when my mom first showed it to me at the church, and the bridesmaids bouquets were exactly what I was hoping for. There were no unpleasant surprises, which is what a bride hopes for on the wedding day, right?!? The placement and arrangement of the flowers at the reception was so amazing that I had to take 5 minutes after our arrival to just walk around and take it all in. It was obvious that Michele had stuck around to make sure that everything was perfect. Our guests kept coming up to me to remark about how simple, elegant and lovely the arrangements were.

We were extremely pleased with Flowers By Appointment Only. All of this, and we stayed within our original budget also. These guys were really fantastic!

Mr. Bill and Michelle worked together and made the wedding AMAZING! From the start, they worked with me to create the perfect flower-covered chuppah design, bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages and table centerpieces. The set-up and tear-down went off without a hitch. Communication via email across the country was no problem. The little extra touches such as the high-quality satin ribbon, the pearl pins on my bouquets and the LED battery-operated candles (they even flickered like real candles) on the tables to comply with LA's tough fire permit restrictions were just bonuses.

Mr Bill was great. I came to our meeting prepared with a scrapbook of images and ideas about the look I wanted for our wedding day. He gave me some great suggestions and It was easy to trust in his experience as a florist. The arrangements were exactly how we discussed, and the flowers were fresh and gorgeous. My guests commented on how beautiful everything was.

Mr. Bill from Flowers by Appointment was a very nice gentleman who was professional, courteous and ultra creative. We met three times before the wedding, and each time, he gave us ideas on perfecting our day. I asked for winter theme, and he came up with the idea of using dry ice to create a snow-like mist on the floor; I asked for tall tree branches, and he turned them into beautiful archways for the aisle. Not only that, he was very detailed oriented, and caught a lot of the things I missed, such as flower girl's basket, cake toppings, and etc. He was prompt and transported everything on time from the ceremony to the reception site. Whereas a lot of florists just drop off their stuff and leave, not caring if the flowers got set up right, Mr. Bill left one of his staff at my wedding to ensure that everything went well, and then the staff transported the flowers from the church to my recpetion site.

Mr. Bill is the best. We got tremendous flowers, and a GREAT value. His shop is right above the Flower Mart, so you can literally just run down and tell him exactly what you want. He worked with me and my mom to design my dream flowers. No one can give you more creativity and a beautiful product for a better price!
