Our wedding was few weeks ago and I was 100% happy with our flowers at the wedding. All the flowers looked so gorgeous and smelled wonderful. My bouquet was beautiful and complimented my dress so well.

The centerpieces looked amazing and we received so many compliments from our guests. Dan was so easy to work with. He replied back to emails and phone calls very quickly and made me feel very comfortable whenever I had questions, requests or concerns.

The flowers were delivered and set up on time. I didn't have to worry at all about the flowers on our wedding day which was great since I was preoccupied with millions of others things.

Our wedding pictures we have seen so far prove that we made the right choice by going with Flowers by Dan.

First we have been to a lot of vendors and i cant really connect with them so one day, while we are in our cake supplier who is Jaquis ( the best cake i ever tasted), i Saw Dan's Post card and since he is close we went to there. He was soooo busy that day, but we called him and ask if we can come, he said sure and one i saw him ( the vibe is soooo Good) he is very nice to us (mike and i) he knows how to communicate with your needs and the colors I love how it turned out...

From the first time I met Dan, I knew he would be wonderful and he only enhanced my expectations! I met Dan a little over a year ago when I was interviewing vendors for my September 26, 2009 wedding. After my first meeting with Dan, I knew he was the one I wanted! He seemed more excited about my wedding than I was! (And that was a lot!) I loved everything he suggested, he listened to me about what I wanted, he showed me pictures and asked questions, and in the end the price he quoted was within my budget. I felt like I was getting so much more from Dan than just "flowers". He was someone who really CARED about my wishes and WANTED to work with me! It is such a special feeling to feel that confident for such an important event. I knew from the beginning it would be perfect! I was not disappointed!

The wedding flowers were the most beautiful I have ever seen! I cannot tell you how happy I was the day of the wedding. I almost cried when I saw the bouquets. They were PERFECT! The flowers in the church were amazing and everything was incredible. I never saw Dan that day because he was so busy. I really wish I could have seen him in person to give him a hug and express how happy I was about everything. It was incredible!

When we got to the reception at the Sheraton, I was equally pleased. The centerpieces were gorgeous!! I can't tell you how many people commented to me on the flowers and how beautiful it was! Dan also brought the flowers to dress the wedding cake and it was amazing! I have never been happier - for so many reasons - but Dan definitely contributed to my happiness that day!

If I ever need anyone for an event again, Dan will be the person I will call! He does beautiful work. His prices are very reasonable. He is a good person in his heart and in his business. I would recommend him in a heartbeat to anyone having an event or wedding!

OH MY GOD!!! I can't thank Dan enough for the AMAZING and BEAUTIFUL flowers he brought to our wedding. It truly made our wedding feel so magical.

Let me just start by saying that Dan really knows what he's doing and he's incredibly reasonable.

We just got married on 4/18/09. My husband and I are both in our 30's and couldn't get a lot of financial help from our parents for our wedding. We had an okay budget but once you start to break things down, you realize it's not much for this or that, like all the little things that make it your own special day. I ended up making a lot of things on my own to save money. I just couldn't see myself doing that with the flowers.

I first went to Dan with my vision for our wedding. He knew exactly what I wanted and was able to show me ideas and arrangements that he has done in the past(he has a huge collection of pictures from all the events that he's done flowers for). He quoted me a price that I wasn't sure of. I went home and my husband and I talked about it. We couldn't justify the cost and I kept getting prices thrown at me about how much it would cost if I just did it myself.

One thing I know is that on the wedding day or even the day before, I couldn't see myself or anyone in my family, putting the flowers together. It just didn't make sense. I looked around and got a few other prices, but I really liked Dan and decided to go back to him. Important note: one of my non-wedding vendors referred me to Dan because she had used him a few times in the past and loved his work.

I sat down with Dan and explained our situation with the budget and he was so incredibly understanding. He worked with my budget and was still able to provide me with gorgeous flowers.

About Dan: he is just so incredibly genuine. He's a family guy and is so respectable. I actually had a few people tell me (after the wedding) that "your flower guy was soooo nice". I knew from the minute I met him that he cared about me being happy and having a beautiful wedding day. All the other florists I met with just made it feel like it's just another event, but he genuinely wanted to make it feel special for us. I told him what colors I wanted and he just knew what to do!

His website needs to be updated because it doesn't do him justice! He's a terrific person and an incredible florist. The man knows his flowers! I really can't say enough good things about him. I promise you that I didn't know him before our wedding but now I feel like I have a friend. I posted some pictures of our flowers in my account so you can see for yourself. BTW...his flowers were totally fresh and smelled amazing! The roses in my bouquet were so unbelievably fragrant!!! :)

I got married about a month ago at Calamigos Equestrian Center in Burbank, CA. I am happy to say that my wedding was exceptional. I want to thank Dan so much for making this happen. The flower arrangements all turned out so beautiful, from the ceremony at "The Little White House" to my bridesmaids' bouquets and centerpieces. Every time I look at my wedding pictures, I am blown away by the beauty of the flowers. Dan was very understanding and knew exactly what I was looking for and what I wanted for my dream wedding. I highly recommend Dan. If I could, I would do this all over again and hire Dan once again :)

Flowers by Dan is simply the BEST!!

We met with Dan and instantly had a connection with him. Dan is friendly, easy going and shared the vision we had for our wedding and was able to translate that vision perfectly to the flower arrangements we requested. Dan understood our budget requirements and was able to work with us to make our day as beautiful as it could be. Our wedding ceremony and reception took place at the Calamigos Equestrian Center in Burbank where Dan took personal responsibility for our day. Dan was at the wedding venue hours before the ceremony setting the arrangements and making sure all the attendants had their respective bouquets and boutonnieres. Dan also made sure that the reception room had all the arrangements set and even took the time to personally transfer any arrangements from the ceremony site to the reception area. The quality and beauty of the flowers provided were unsurpassed and the service was second to none.

Our wedding was over a month ago, and people are still talking about how gorgeous our flowers were!! The amount of flowers we got for the money spent was amazing. It was very affordable, but looked like we spent a fortune. Dan himself is such a sweet person and extemely professional. He is quick with email responses and in returning phone calls. My daughter's wedding was in August on the roof of the Marina Del Rey Marriott. I scheduled appointments with many florists to make sure this event would be spectacular! However, Dan won our hearts with his creative ideas, intuition for what we wanted and his true passion for his work! We are thrilled that he was the one we chose.

We were delighted with the SPECTACULAR arch (that later was taken apart to decorate the head table) and the lovely centerpieces. Our friends and family are STILL talking about the vibrant flowers and how they enhanced that beautiful roof-top setting.

Dan is wonderful. He is very reliable (he called me to confirm a couple of days before the wedding instead of me having to call him!); does a fantastic job; and his flowers are very high quality and fresh! Some of the orchids in my bouquet where still alive and fresh looking when I returned from my honeymoon 10 days later; I took them out of the dried up bouquet and put them in water and they still look good 26 days later....amazing.

I loved my bouquet of red Roses and the bouquet of Gerber Daisies for my maids of honor were lovely. They were all just so beautiful and they loved them. The church looked beautiful with all the flowers and it gave the church a warm feeling. The arrangements for our wedding reception were breath taking. Our guest loved them and those guests who won the centerpieces were extremely happy that they got to take them home. The centerpiece for the sweet heart table was amazing and it made me happy to give them to my aunt to take them to my cousins’ gravesite. Plus, the cake and the cake table looked just amazing. Dan is the best. I was married Nov of 2005 and am writing this review as 2009 approches eagerly. Beautiful and vibrant flowers are crucial to a good wedding and Dan delivered, stylisticly and so personally it affects me today. My lovely wife was so happy. Even guests who attend many weddings said mine was the best. The ballroom was georgously alive with flowers Dan created and we danced a flawless ballroom number that knocked-em dead.(My wife and I watch the DVD regularly, dreaming of that day with amazement. Thanks Dan.

We love Flowers by Dan! Not only is he on our vendor list, but he was recommended to us by a stranger we met in a coffee shop who used him for their wedding. After meeting Dan, you'll see how great and genuine he is. He's honestly about making the most beautiful arrangments for the bride and groom, and at a very reasonable price!

Our wedding was perfect!

When we arrived at our wedding location Dan was there setting up for the ceremony. At the ceremony our flowers were absolutely beautiful! My bouquet was gorgeous, green roses to perfection. My bridesmaids bouquets were also amazing, pink and green roses. Because I'm very floral-illiterate, only really loving roses, I had a hard time thinking of other flowers to put into our wedding. Dan had helped us plan every flower on every single person who was involved with our wedding. Of course there were roses everywhere (because I love them). But he made the arrangments even more beautiful with the combination of other flowers that complimented each other. These included lilies down the isle, orchids for the moms, roses for the dads, etc!

For many months Dan had created this beautiful picture in my mind of my wedding, and that day he brought it into reality. Rose petals lined the isle and he created our circle of love in roses. It was amazing. My photographer loved the flowers, because our photographer was a family friend he asked if we paid a fortune on flowers, and the answer was an excited "NO!" Dan offers you the best and most beautiful flowers for the best price; when he describes what he'll be doing for you at the wedding, it's sometimes hard to believe he can provide that much for what you're paying for, but somehow Dan pulls it off and you get way more than you've ever dreamed of.

On to the reception... Dan helped us to create beautiful centerpieces, with lights! They were the hit of the wedding with everyone wanting to take them home. It was very difficult to come up with centerpiece ideas because I dislike those really tall ones, but you barely notice the really short ones. So together we created this medium sized piece, which was about a foot tall and stunning. Dan's idea to put water into the vase (which was a very thick glass mug) was brilliant, when the lights shine through the look was elegant.

Our head table was fully decorated with flowers. With everything: pink and green roses, pink and green lilies, orchids, and a lot of more flowers that I can't name. It was beautiful and amazing, and that's all that mattered.

We feel so lucky to have met Dan. Not only was he our florist, but he was a great resource in all aspects of wedding planning. He was helped us find our minister (who was also wonderful, Rev. Southwick) and our bakery (Jaqkie's Cake Creations). But as a florist, Dan went far and beyond what one expects. He's not only your florist but he's also becomes a friend who cares a lot about your wedding. You'll see in his work how much he cares about your wedding and how important it is for him to make it an amazing day and start to your marriage.

Pros: Definitely affordable, a million times a friend, he seriously cares about your wedding and he'll provided you the most beautiful floral arrangements you'll ever see at a wedding/event!

Cons: None!!!!

SIMPLY AMAZING!

I can't even put into words how amazing the flowers looked on the day of our wedding! We knew it was going to nice, but everyone was absolutely blown away! Our wedding flowers could easily cost us 4X times more anywhere else and not looked half as nice. Dan went WAY above and beyond for us and it's just not in his blood to do anything than perfect.

OUR STORY: Dan was recommended to us by our venue coordinator. First of all, Dan is probably one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. As we learned, he has been doing flowers for many years and after literally 1,000's of weddings his experience shows. He truly loves what he does and takes great pride in his work. Actually, before we met with Dan, my fiance and I had looked into other florists and had one already tentatively lined up. We just weren't at ease though. All the other florists either had little creativity or were too creative with their OWN ideas and wanted to take over everything.
We had lots of different design ideas, but we needed our florist to help us narrow them down and come up with a final design that reflected what we were looking for - and that's exactly what Dan did. We didn't find that with anybody else we met. Dan listed to our ideas and also showed us lots of his previous work for we were thinking of. He worked WITH us came up with a beautiful design for arrangements, centerpieces, corsages and, twinkle lighting. He told us what would and and would not work well and he always kept our budget in mind. He also put us at ease, and by end of our first meeting we trusted him completely 100%. We felt that he really understood what we wanted and we knew we wouldn't be disappointed. Vendors will always say "don't worry, we'll take care it." Dan REALLY meant it! When we saw the arrangements we we're almost in tears! It was PERFECT!

Not only did everything look amazing, but Dan and his crew were also punctual, well organized, courteous and clean. Both our ceremony and reception coordinators were amazed as well and also commented on his professionalism. Dan will always be the first any only person we call for flowers. In our opinion (and about 220 of our guests) Dan is the ONLY florist you will ever need.

My wedding was a few weeks ago and Dan arrange our flowers. All I can say is everything was PERFECT! I heard so many compliments on the flower arrangements from my guests.

Out of everything that could have gone wrong at my wedding of the things that didn't was the fabulous arrangements that Flowers by Dan provided for us. My Flowers were absolutely amazing i couldn't have asked for more. Dan did an incredible job on on our gazebo and the pedals and runway for me to walk down it was amazing. And he also decorated the bridge that i was going to walk over. And my centerpieces at the reception were gorgeous all my guests commented on what a wonderful job the florist had done. And he did, the colors matched beautifully and everything just looked gorgeous. And he also added the touch of flowers to my wedding cake and it looked spectacular. I couldn't tell you how wonderful it all turned out we were very thankful that we had Dan as our florist he did a spectacular job on everything and put his all making sure everything looked perfect and beautiful. And he even added a bit of lighting for me since my ceremony took place in the evening and that way everyone could enjoy the beauty of the flowers that he had placed on our gazebo. Hi my name is Olivia Castanon, and I was just married on October 4,2008 and Dan was my florist. Dan did an amazing job, all of my flowers were absolutely beautiful. He was so nice and helpful because I had no idea of what color scheme I wanted and he helped with all of that, and he also decorated my cake as well. I couldn't have asked for better flowers everything was so fresh and beautiful, and just just smelled wonderful, and most important it was reasonable in price. Our wedding was on November 29 at the Castaway in Burbank. Dan decorated the gazebo and aisle for our outdoor ceremony. He also decorated the sweetheart table, the cake and and made the centerpieces for the reception tables. Everything turned out so beautifully! When my new husband and I first went to see Dan, we had no idea what we wanted. But, Dan was super nice and really patient with us. He told us what he envisioned for our wedding and everything just fell into place from there. We had really pleasant, easy interactions with him up all the way through our wedding day. On our actual wedding day, Dan was very efficient and awesome! His flowers looked exactly as he had promised and he was so nice! Dan is a sweetheart and his work is beautiful. I am not a very big person when it comes to flowers, so I wanted a vendor that can easily work with me and see what I am looking for. But before I chosed Flowers by Dan, I met with another vendor and I describe want I wanted, but he rejected some of my ideas. So when I finally went to Dan, he had everything. He had pictures of how our reception area would like with lights on the gazebo. He showed samples of different reception and ceremony areas just to get an idea of how it would look like. He also will demonstrate how lights would look like for your centerpieces. He had it all. I was so happy that he made everything look beautiful. When I saw a sample of my centerpiece I got concerned, but the day of my wedding that were "GORGEOUS!" I would recommend to anyone who doesn't know about flowers and also for the people who are very picky. He can make it look wonderful. From our first meeting, Dan was great. Dan Made everything so simple for us. He always returned our phone calls and addressed all of our concerns. My husband and I were married at the Sportsmen's Lodge on 12/27/2008. On the day of the wedding Dan was there early working hard creating a masterpiece that exceeded my expectations. He created a perfect winter wedding. He Knew exactly what he was doing. He coordinated with the staff at the Sportsmen's Lodge. Everything came out perfect. He had the the arbor full of flower and lights. Everything was so enchanting...both the outside and the inside. The centerpieces were so beautiful. He sprinkled rose petals around the lit up arrangements. Guests were anxious to take them home. His creativity is amazing. Dan made every table look stunning. Dan stayed after the ceremony and brought in the flowers that were above the arbor and brought them to the sweetheart table and set them up in such a magical way.

My bouquet was amazing. The corsages and boutonnieres were beautiful. He was even there to pin them on to each member of the wedding party.

I got married six years ago and I went to so many florist and I could not afford the outrageous amounts of money they had been asking for. I was refered to Dan by Sportmans Lodge in Studio City. I went on an appointment to visit Dan and I was amazed as he provided for me and my wedding the most spectacular arrangements I have ever seen. I had all the flowers and much more that I had asked for and the price was unbelievable. I had a very small budget and he made my dreams come true with his creative and giving ideas. I had beautiful bouquets on 10 tables that stood on a beautiful glass/mirror pedestal. I had an outside wedding and he decorated my gazebo with beautiful roses, and other lovely colorful flowers that gave the gazebo an amazing transformation of beauty. He decorated the chairs for the ceremony and quickly and efficiently removed the decorations from the Gazebo and placed them insdie the wedding reception. He catered to all of my wedding party and made certain that everyone was ready with all their flowers. I just don't have words to express the love, energy and care you put into making my wedding the most beautiful dream come true in colors and creativity. His compassion and love for what he does makes him the best florist I have ever met. I came to Dan without calling him about two weeks ago and Dear Dan was fixing the most beautiful arrangements for his mother who had just passed away. My mother was so touched by his strength in seeing him delivering from his heart the beauty of his creation in composing for his dear loved one arrangements that clearly represented his love towards his mother and giving to her what she so well deserved. Dan mentioned how he would always bring flowers to his dear mother and also brought many flowers to the elderly in the surrounding community. I know that we all work for many but, Dan is an exception to the rule he gives from his heart and will bend over backwards to help you have exactly what you want at the budget you can afford.

We were so happy to find Flowers by Dan through the Sheraton Pasadena Hotel where our daughters' wedding took place on 11/3/07. Dan is the best by far!!! He is so caring and loves making your day so special. When you work with Dan you feel like you are his only client. Flowers by Dan was the first vendor that we went to and instantly knew that he was special and "the one" that we wanted to be part of my daughter's very important day, and we were right. My daughter and I had an immediate bond with Dan. Dan treats your wedding as if it is the only one and knows just how to capture the bride's colors and most of all, personality. Flowers by Dan provide everything that is needed/required and wanted for a wedding. To name just a few; we wanted some kind of archway and Dan suggested and provided a gazebo (at no extra cost) with the most beautiful flowers. Dan and his crew waited for all of the pictures to be taken after the ceremony so that they could save money for us by using the ceremony flowers for the reception area and it was breathtaking. He could have charge us for flowers for the ceremony and reception but his main objective is not to make lots of money but to be sure that his part of the wedding is perfect; and it was. With all weddings, there is something that always goes wrong or not quite what you wanted or expectedwith Flowers by Dan as your florist, that is one area that is worry-free due to his top quality flowers and exceptional service. Dan really helped to make our day special. We interviewed many florists and Dan really was able to take my vision of our wedding day decor and amplify it to a new level. My only critisim is that his pictures do not do him enough justice. He is talented and very flexible. He has done my wedding and my sisters and I would recommend him highly.

Dan, is by far, the best choice for a florist. From the very beginning, he was personable, caring, professional, and most importantly, easy to contact and promptly responded to all our inquiries. When we met with Dan and went over what we wanted for our wedding, he was amazingly helpful. His prices are extremely reasonable and you will certainly get much more than you would from any other florist. I felt completely confident that Dan would take care of our floral needs and I could, therefore, attend other wedding worries. When our wedding day finally arrived, Dan was not only early, but had EVERYTHING ready for our pictures. My bouquet was breathtaking, the arrangment for our arch was stunning, and people couldn't say enough wonderful things about the centerpieces. By the end of our reception, ALL of the centerpieces had "mysteriously" disappeared. I heard later on that guests were marking their centerpiece to take home early in the night. I could go on and on.

If you are planning a wedding and want beautiful flowers from someone who not only knows what he's doing, but really cares about how your wedding looks, you will not go wrong by having Dan complete all your floral needs. He is amazing.

Dan and his staff are amazing at decorating with a short window of time. Ours was a wedding at the Sportsmen's Lodge that allowed fewer than two hours for Dan and crew to fully set up the chupah (it was a reform Jewish wedding) with tulle, miniature lights, huge floral arrangements across the top and ivy gracefully embracing the pillars. In addition, they decorated the deck outside with huge tulle bows. Inside, they did a beautiful job with goregous table arrangements (the flower varieties and colors were spectacular and included chocolate-colored roses -- of which the bridal bouquet was comprised). They advised us on the candles and set up all 24 (ask him about the right (flameless) way to avoid the nightmare of dealing with fire regulations but still having a beautifully, natural-appearing, candlelighted ceremony and dinner). Also, they scattered rosebuds on the white runner in the aisle and on the wedding cake table. Beautful chocolate colored roses on the three-tier wedding cake. IT WAS A DREAM AND ALL OF DAN'S CREATIVE DESIGN AND EXTREMELY FRESH, UNIQUE AND HIGH-QUALITY FLOWERS PROVIDED A MAGICAL AURA FOR THIS OCCASION OF OUR LIVES. IT WAS SIMPLY UNSURPASSABLE AND I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH ABOUT THIS WONDERFUL, CARING MAN AND HIS TALENTS. DAN IS SUCH A DREAM TO WORK WITH -- HE REALLY CARES ABOUT ALL THE DETAILS OF MAKING IT WORK; HE IS THERE ON THE SPOT UNTIL EVERYTHING IS PERFECT. Of all the many people who worked with us on the wedding, Dan was the single most soothing professional who made us feel we were in great hands all the way (and we were!). Dan even solved a visual and potentially disruptive problem that could have occurred during the ceremony, which was quite worrisome (the Chupah was set up in front of double doors that lead to another room and they could have been opened from the other room if not secured in some way and also the doorknobs needed to be concealed -- only Dan was responsive to these concerns (even though the Lodge's caterer assured us she would take care of it, but didn't). That's the kind of over-and-above caring service he provides. He is simply the best! Dan's flowers, design work and personal service in every way are incomparable -- and he provides extremely high value for the cost. We love the guy!

I don't know where to start about this amazing man and his company!! I was immediately impressed and pleased from my first meeting. Dan worked hard to talk with us about all the different options. He was over accommodating to fit the requests that we had. He gave us beautiful ideas of flower arrangements that I would have never thought of. For example, my bride bouquet had pink and green roses with rhinestones in it. It was absolutely amazing. I would have never thought of the green roses but it made my bouquet unique and one of a kind! Dan was very kind and gracious in working with my mom and I to fit the price range that we had with what we wanted.

The day of the wedding I was totally blown away. Before I could even see the flowers that he had made for my arbor I was hearing rumors of how beautiful it was from my bridesmaids who had peaked. Dan presented me with my bouquet and I had tears rolling down my face. My bouquet and my whole bridal parties bouquets where amazing. They where better than I had ever imagined. Walking down the aisle and seeing the flowers for the first time, truly took my breath away. The aisle itself was decorated with tool and daisies. There was a generous amount of rose petals, and the arbor that Dan made was truly out of this world. I have never seen such a beautiful display of flowers. He was so generous making the arbor huge, lush, beautiful and unlike anything I have ever seen. The center pieces were another amazing piece and truly a highlight to my entire wedding. People are still talking about the flowers and the center pieces weeks after the wedding. I could have never dreamed of having such huge centerpieces that were amazing!!! From the moment you walked into the reception
flowers where everywhere and made the room look breathtaking. The centerpieces had lights on them that made them pop and look amazing as the sun went down. Dan was so generous with the amount of flowers that he used. My cake was filled with beautiful flowers and looked way better than I could have dreamed. I was shocked by how generous Dan was with the amount of flowers that he used.
One of the guests at my wedding is a landscape architect who works with flowers on a daily basis and he couldn't stop ranting and raving about the flowers. A week after the wedding we received a letter from a guest and in the letter they commented on how they couldn't believe our centerpieces and the amazing flowers.
My finance, family and I feel so thankful to Dan and his team. He took an ordinary wedding and made it extraordinary. He filled my reception with fresh beautiful flowers that totally transformed the room into a fantasy!! I feel so blessed to have found such a hard working, honest, and kind man. I already have my sisters talking about how they can't wait to use him for their wedding.
