Do NOT USE
He did not SHOW UP to my sister's wedding this last SATURDAY! HE did NOT CALL, he did not respond to any phone calls. EVERYONE was trying to get a hold of him and no luck. The ceremony was at 5pm at the Nixon Library and his assistant ran her bridal bouquet over at 5:15pm. They are 10 minutes away from the shop and the groomsmen even tried to go there. No communication whatsover. They came withe a few centerpieces around 10:30PM and then gave us our bridesmaids bouquets at 11:30PM. We couldn't believe it.
Thank goodness, the Nixon Library is beautiful as it is, but seriously how could you not show up to a wedding. Even if you don't show up, you have people working for you that should be able to show up. The weird thing was my sister's husband went to his shop on Thursday and saw all the flowers there. But he didn't even have the courtesy to call or do anything. I'm not even sure what to do or say. Just makes me very upset and sad for my sister, but I'm lucky she took it so well and was not affected by it at all. SO brides, please save yourself the trouble and DO NOT USE HIM and if you booked him, please reconsider. The funny thing is I used him over 1 1/2 years ago and referred him. I feel so bad. Sad that it turned out like this. =(
I used Kevin for my wedding in May 2003 and was impressed by his laid-back demeanor and great ideas. I was looking for inspiration with my flowers and he stepped up to the plate. I told him my likes and dislikes and he whipped up a beautiful color scheme.
On my wedding day, he went above and BEYOND what I had paid him to do. He was the florist for the country club and even coordinated all the lobby flowers with my wedding colors. Amazing.
His prices were EXTREMELY reasonable and I would recommend him in a heartbeat.
