Mary was able to work well within our budget to make us absolutely beautiful flowers for our wedding. She was able to work with our visions to make the bouquets, boutonnieres, and corsages exactly how I wanted them. She was also able to help us order the flowers we wanted for our centerpieces (my husband hand made the centerpieces and all we needed were the flowers). She was even so gracious as to drive to a midpoint the day before our wedding to meet my husband and drop off the centerpiece flowers so we could assemble them. Mary was an absolute joy to work with!

Mary Elizabeth was the only florist I contacted who took my bouquet request (all billy ball/craspedia) and didn't try to talk me out of it. She was encouraging when I had the idea to use ribbon imported from India for the bouquet wraps, and delivered all the bouquets exactly as we had discussed. Her pricing is also very competitive compared to others in the area.

My flowers were absolutely beautiful! Even my aunt who is a florist was impressed. She was easy to work with, even adding things here and there and changing my mind a few weeks before on a few details. More than that her prices are great!

The value for the price is right and she does an amazing job! Very responsive and a great eye for all things beautiful. She even had fun ideas that we would have never thought of. Easy to work with and she did a great job.

She came up with the idea of having the fabric of my husbands kilt around the stems of the bouquet to match and she found it on her own.

After splurging on a few other aspects of the wedding, we wanted to stick to the basics with flowers. From our budget perspective, Flowers by Mary Elizabeth was an excellent choice. Mary was so pleasant to work with – flexible in scheduling meetings and prompt to respond to emails + phone calls. She used my vision to design the centerpieces and bouquets with the colors and flowers I had in mind. She was very willing to work inside our budget and made suggestions for saving $ without losing visual impact. Our centerpieces, bouquets, and boutonnières came out beautiful and looked fresh all night. They were delivered promptly and set up correctly. The final total was well inside our budget. Would highly recommend for a bride looking to save on flowers without sacrificing quality and style.

After my original DIY plans for branch centerpieces got denied, I was in a desperate search for a reliable florist who could work with my tight timeline and even tighter budget to transform our Ritz ballroom into a beautiful, classy place with 18 centerpieces, and also to prepare 8 bouquets and 15 bouts for the bridal party / parents.

I absolutely loved my bouquet. I wanted some anemones among large white flowers as black accents, because my wedding colors were black and white. She was able to find anemones and stay within my budget - they were breathtaking and the bouquet was exactly what I imagined. The centerpieces were beautiful and perfect for the fancy ballroom. They were lush and full, with hydrangeas, lilies, roses, and black lotus pods. Nobody would have guessed that these were made on a tight budget.

The only thing is that my husband's bout, made with two anemones to match my bouquet, did not last the afternoon. Luckily, Mary had brought extra bouts made with hydrangea sprigs, so he ended up wearing that for the ceremony and the rest of the night. But this is mostly my fault, since I specifically requested anemones for my husband.

I appreciated her for her flexibility, friendliness, professionalism and for respecting my vision for the wedding day. I especially appreciated how communicative she was and how she was able to accommodate last minute changes.

Mary made our bouquets and took the gold Manzanita branch centerpieces I had made and arranged them with orchids. Everything looked so much more expensive than it was and she was so easy to work with. She was the only florist who didn’t laugh at my budget and was willing to work with me to give me the look I wanted without breaking the bank. She also went out of her way to pick some stuff up from us not once but twice.

Mary was amazing to work with! I met with her several times to work out some of the changing details to my flower plans and she was always so patient and helpful. The flowers were amazing. She was even able to incorporate some special requests. For the price the value was fantastic. Everyone said how beautiful the bouquets were and mine is still going 3 weeks later!! One point to note is Mary's professionalism and dedication to her brides. Three days before my wedding the special rare roses for my bouquet did not arrive. Mary called to help me pick an alternative. The part that really impressed me was eventhough I had picked my alternate an accepted my bad luck....Mary called every wholesaler in the area and surprised me at my wedding with the very fairy tale flowers I had given up on. This really touched me that she would go to all that extra work to make my vision come to life. Thanks Mary!!! I'm reccomending all my brides-to-be girlfriends to you!!

Mary did a fabulous job with all of the flowers for my wedding even though we didn't meet in person until my wedding day, since I live in Oregon. She was extremely helpful in the planning process and she was very willing to work within my budget. I was very happy with all of the flowers at my wedding!

Flowers were very important to me on my special day. I spent countless hours searching the internet for the perfect pictures that would capture my vision for the bouquets, arrangements, etc. My bouquet (which consisted off all pink peonies) turned out absolutely amazing. The bridesmaids bouquets were beautiful (roses/ranunculus/hydrangeas) although the roses were not exactly the color I had requested but it looked nice nonetheless.

When my original florist dropped out just over a month before the wedding, Mary Elizabeth came to my rescue! The flower colors were on point with my wishes and when a detail wasn't exactly right, she did her best to accommodate my needs on the day of.

My wedding planner, Christina Hill of cHill Weddings, referred me to Flowers by Mary Elizabeth. At that point, I had a floral design for the reception and my bouquet in mind, and I needed someone to execute it while sticking to the budget. Mary came in well under budget and had good ideas about what would work and what wouldn't. She came up with creative ideas, and when I didn't really like one of her ideas, she was open to all of my feedback and suggestions. She really just wanted my mom and I to be happy, which was nice to see. I also hadn't given her much direction about things like the cake flowers or the centerpieces for the square tables (I just told her that I wanted a number of square vases of varying heights, each with different white flowers), and what she came up with was great.

However, when we arrived at the museum, it was clear that the setup of the chuppah was wrong. Considering that my mom had gone over to Mary's house and they had had a meeting for over an hour about what the chuppah set-up would be like, it was very strange that it was setup like it was. Further, the fact that Cory (the groom) had to oversee Christina and Mary to make sure that it was fixed correctly is unacceptable. If they needed clarification on how it was setup or needed to practice, they should have done it beforehand. Considering that they only had an hour to setup the ceremony and cocktail hour, they should not have wasted it playing around with the chuppah configuration. Fixing the chuppah was the last thing Cory should have been doing in the minutes before he got married. I think the problem stemmed from the fact that Mary is more of a big picture person, rather than someone who focuses on the little details, which didn't work well for the chuppah setup.

At the end of the day, however, the end result was really beautiful. After it was fixed, the chuppah was exactly what my mom and I wanted and the quality of the flowers was beautiful. While I wouldn't work with Mary again, I recommend her to any bride that isn't as detail-oriented as I am.
