We had an absolutely fantastic time here for my bridal shower. The employees gave excellent service and catered to our every need. The food choices are limited to sandwiches, wraps, salads and desserts, but everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is lovely with classical music playing in the background. Also, the buildings themselves are historical and the employees are quite knowledgeable on the history of the grounds. Included, if you book your “event” there ahead of time, is admission to the actual butterfly sanctuary/greenhouse area. This location is available for weddings as well and if I hadn’t already had a venue, I definitely would have considered it. Also, for those “Green” brides, this is perfect, everything served at the cafe(and what it’s served on) are eco-friendly!!

The Butterfly Estates is an ECO friendly establishment consisting of three fully restored buildings dating from 1913 and a 3614 sq ft
glass enclosed butterfly conservatory set in a lush tropical rainforest setting. We believe that we should lessen our carbon footprint on the planet by using cutlery made of potatoes, plates and coffee cups made from sugar cane and
our cold drink cups and straws are made from corn. All are compostable. Flutterby's Cafe offers a wide variety of sandwiches and salads plus an ever changing array of soups, browse Mother Nature's gift shop for
butterfly artistry from around the world as well as Bean Pod candles which are petroleum free, soy based candles that are also used as a moisturizer for your skin. As an allergen free product, they are great for those suffering from
breathing disorders. Caterpillers Ice Cream and Fudge Factory proudly serves Edy's Ice Cream, we make 16 varieties of fudge on premises and we have a Chocolatier on staff that can design chocolates that will make your wedding

We are a unique destination for your wedding. There are very few places that have been done with an expert eye to detail. Everything is so well thought out with every consideration given to the Bride on her special day.

All musicians in the conservatory will be accoustic.

Nothing attached to the walls or make permanant markings, inside the conservatory we are very protective of our butterflies. Nothing that can harm the butterflies or the delicate ecosystem we provide.

Accoustical only in Conservatory. We are located in an urban area so no loud outdoor music.
