FLY BY NIGHT Disc Jockeys

Fly by night was awesome!! They helped us fine tune our music selections and even played a few songs after they were supposed to stop at guests requests! Larry was so understanding when my husband and I wanted to change our song at the last minute! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for professionals to do the job right!

Don't do it! They put on a very good presentation before you pay the deposit, but once they have your money they don't care about you. We had asked the owner to provide us with a mix tape for a funny dance we wanted to do. We sent the request two months before the wedding and received the mix less than a week before the wedding. You will have to ask the same question 10 times before you get an answer. We also provided music we would like played in addition to other songs. The dj was off eating, replaying the same songs over and over. He also played the wrong dance for the father/bride dance. And he showed up in jeans.

Larry at Fly By Nights did such a great job with helping my husband and I not only select the perfect DJ for our wedding, but he also helped us coordinate the itinerary for the reception and set up all our music that would be played throughout the night. Even when we didn't have the name of a song nor the artists name, Larry was able to identify the exact song my husband described to him. He helped make our reception planning go so well.
Johnny was our disc jockey for the night and he did such an amazin job!!! We couldn't have asked for anyone better. The music was perfect, he had us on schedule all night, helped us coordinate everything smoothly and had such a great announcing voice for when the wedding party and my husband and I entered the room. We got so many compliments from our guests on the great music and entertainment. Thank you so much Fly By Nights and Johnny for all your wonderful help and for making our wedding day so amazing!!!

Fly By Night provided DJ services for my wedding at Paradise Point Resort in San Diego. They communicated well with me, as I lived 7 hours north, and was making wedding arrangement on the phone and through email. They also were willing to sit down and meet with me prior to the wedding to figure out specific song choices for special moments at the reception. They were helpful in offering suggestions by learning what our music likes and dislikes. Fly by Night also provided music for the ceremony, created a GOBO light for the reception and did up-lighting for the reception room to match my wedding's accent color. I highly recommended the GOBO light and up-lighting...it really gave the reception that extra "something" that made everything seem perfect.

Fly By Night DJ service was excellent. Tina put on a great show for my wedding and was very engaging. Larry was absolutely wonderful to work with. He helped me with all the details from picking the perfect DJ to picking the best lighting. Highly recommended.

We used FBN dj Nick. He was such a sweetie. Although we provided a list of music that we suggested, I told him to get a feel for the crowd and play what people wanted to hear. He was very flexible and did his thing! He was very professional and a pleasure to work with.

Set up was really late. Did not arrive until a few minutes before. Loved the music, DJ was professional and great throughout the night. A little behind the times though with a messy table of cd's sprawled out.

FBN was wonderful. They have a very professional business and were flexible with me. I had a lot of "requests" and they never seemed annoyed or put off by me. Very nice to work with!

Fly by Night was the company we chose for our September wedding and we were so happy with the end result! Larry is so wonderful to work with. He is extremely professional and organized as well as extremely knowledgeable about the business and of all types of music. We had a blast creating the perfect ceremony and recption music with him! He even created a beautiful shortened version of our first dance number for our dance instructor and included songs in our reception playlist that I requested in an email the night before our wedding! Larry went above and beyond for us and we are truly grateful for that. Johnny M. was o0ur DJ the day of and he did a great job keeping the energy high and the crowd movin' and groovin' with his winning personaliy and the perfect and personalized party playlist. Our wedding day was amazing and we own a lot of that to Fly by Night.

We had a great experiance with Fly By Night DJ's! The were very responsive, and gave us a chance to pick our DJ based on our personalities. We picked Jaimes, who is very enthusiastic about his job. Everything went perfectly the day of. Altogether a good value for the money.

Best DJ ever! Fly by Night has a large selection of DJs, and the one we had originally requested had to cancel at the last minute due to a family emergency. Larry stepped in to DJ for us. He was absolutely amazing and kept the crowd dancing even during our outdoor Sunday afternoon reception. The price was more than reasonable, and I really loved the amount of say I had in every aspect of the music selection. I want to have another big party just so I can have Larry DJ for us again!

The best! If I ever need a DJ service for anything this will be the only vendor I ever use. I had so many compliments about how wonderful the DJ was it was amazing!

Larry was awesome and ended up djing our wedding because we weren't excited about any of the other cheesy options. He spent a while with us and helped us work out details and music selections. We were demanding as far as what music he could and couldn't play. Everyone loved the music and I think he did a really nice job overall. He is a great guy

They did a really good job with our wedding. The DJ was amazing, he kept the flow of the party going. They were also very professional and very helpful. We couldn't been happier that we chose them.

Our DJ Jaimes was great. Everything went off as planned. People commented on how much they enjoyed the music. This company allowed us to select a DJ that suited our needs. They also allowed us to hand pick songs that we wanted. The entire experience was very personal and customized just for us.

My husband and I were so impressed at the first meeting that we booked with them right away. We had met with several other types of vendors and always walked away saying we would think about it before making the final decision. With Fly by Night, we were ready to book part way through the meeting. We were impressed with their organization and friendliness. We were comfortable right away. They have a great light set up and displayed it well. I hadn't thought about lights, but once I saw them in action, I couldn't resist. Their lighting prices are well priced. They were super helpful with our music selections. We met with Larry and told him a few things about the type of song we were looking for and he'd play a few for us until we found the perfect one. Our DJ, Ray, was awesome! Great attitude, fun to have at my wedding. I even changed the father daughter song with him right before the reception and he was really helpful and just made me feel special. The night went smoothly, no problems at all. I have a family that I didn't expect to dance, but he got them up and dancing.

They were very professional and very quick to respond to any and all questions/requests. They did a great job and had our dance floor packed. Very happy.

The DJ that came to our wedding was fantastic. Ryan Boone. We loved him. He put on a great show and had the crowd cheering for us the whole time! We had some specific requests at the last minute and Ryan truly made our night!Definitely recommend Ryan as your DJ!

They went out of their way to make our day great. During the fianl consultation they played every option we could ever want and made everything we wanted happen! My golf loving husband even walked his grandmother and mom down the aisle to the master's theme song. They allowed our wedding to be so personal and fun. We were originally going to book a string quartet and it fell through last minute. Ray (our DJ) just added on the service and I'm so glad we did that, it was the biggest blessing in disguise. Also, the party was still going at midnight and Ray stayed an extra hour with 10 minutes notice - Fly By Night is amazing!

I selected Fly By Night after seeing Ryan Boone do a friends wedding. He did an excellent job so we decided to go with the same company. A lot of work went into the planning of the music for our reception, so we were very disappointed when the dj we selected did not follow through on our selections. Fly By Night gives you a packet of music to fill out prior to your wedding. There is one sheet you fill out where you write in your selections for special dances (i.e. first dance, father daughter, bouquet toss, etc.). There is another section where you go through hundreds of songs and use a check off list to select the other songs you would like played during dancing. We spent about 5 hours selecting the music we wanted played. It was very disappointing that the dj did not play a single song off of our checkoff sheets during free dancing. The DJ did play the specific songs we selected, but did not play the check off list. Leading up to the wedding, everything was great with Fly By Night. I received emails on a regular basis to check in on the planning. They were very friendly and very easy to work with. I would still recommend the company, but I would go with Ryan.

My husband and I knew when we met with Larry that we wanted FBN DJ's. They are very professional and really take the time to sit with you and help you discover what you want. It was so much fun picking out the music, we went back twice. We got a really good deal on the DJ and we even added lighting which really made the party. We also needed a bilingual DJ and they had a good variety of latin and american music. Our DJ was Carlos and he was great! We ran into a few snags on our timeline but he rolled with the punches and kept think moving.

They were wonderful! Great to work with and the DJ the day of was fantastic.

From the very beginning Fly by Night was very accomodating. You get to choose your DJ from a video of them at an event. We chose Tina and more on her later. Fly by Night was very good about keeping touch through emails and phone calls. This was great because we all know how busy brides can be. They then sent out a list of songs that we wanted for our reception. We chose some unique songs but they were more than accomodating. They played all of the songs that we requested. Tina our DJ was amazing. She was so comfortable with the crowd, it felt like she was apart of the family by the end of the night. She made of the announcements (cake cutting, first dance, etc.) that really helped our guests know what was going on. She was also great about filling dead air/time. For example, we had a little issue busseling my dress but thanks to Tina no one knew except for me and the coordinators. TINA WAS GREAT!!!

Ray made our evening a memorable one by playing a great mix of songs. They were very helpful with assiting us in choosing various songs for our special day.

They are wonderful! You get to go in and have a consult with the owner ( I think), and he will help you pick out all your music. It was especially great because we weren't too sure what a lot of songs were, and he walked us through the whole ceremony and reception. We had not met our DJ before he came to the wedding which I had been nervous about, but there was no need. He was excellent, friendly, and got people up and moving. They are a great DJ service.

Very nice people, easy to work with. The initial meeting is great, they show you lighting, DJ videos so you can choose the style you like and are very flexible as long as you communicate with them. Our DJ, Teena Shoobs, was absolutely amazing. Love her!

Ray and Larry were so great to work with. You can tell that they really love their work and believe in their product. Their attention to detail ensures that you will get exactly what you want. They are very reasonably priced especially considering the amout of prep they put into your event. Danny, who was the actual DJ of our wedding was perfect. Everyone loved him and he kept the party going til the end. He was funny, outgoing, and so nice. We also paid extra to have a karaoke machine. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Larry and Ray with Fly By Night have been amazing to work with. I love that they give you a questionnaire packet to answer to be sure that they have every song you could ever want. Their attention to detail is wonderful! Our DJ for the wedding was Danny and he was awesome! Everyone loved him and he kept the party going all night. He was nice, funny, outgoing, everything I could have possibly wanted and more in a DJ. Perfect! Highly recommended.

Fly By Night are one of those companies the really love what they do and go above and beyond with there customer service. My husband and I are big music people so the DJ was very important to us...we needed someone who was willing to really work with us and what we had in mind vs. just doing what THEY wanted at our wedding ( which was how a lot of DJ's are) fly By Night was perfect for us. They have been in business for a long time and have several different DJ's on staff to help find one that really fits your style. The guys in the office are super friendly and helpful no matter how many times you call and bother them (haha) They meet with you twice before your wedding and have you fill out a detailed questionnaire with all your preferences. They also have great suggestions and will sit with you and go through music until you find the exact songs that you want. The wedding day the dance floor was packed from start to finish!! All the guests had a great time and we loved the music too! I recommend Fly By Night to everyone looking or a DJ, they are always a good fit.

Fly By NIght DJs were seriously one of our favorite vendors. My husband and I are kind of crazy music people and were searching for a DJ who would really work with us to create wedding music that was very "us" while still getting everyone on the dance floor. Fly By Night is hands down the nicest vendor. From the DJ (we used Danny Andrade) to the office staff, every person we talked to at the company was super nice and accommodating. They set up 2 meetings with you; one to pick out a DJ that fits your style and another to help listen and pick out your music for the ceremony, first dances, introductions etc. it was SO helpful. We actually had fun at the meetings and thoroughly enjoyed every minute dealing with this company. We even gave them a CD with music to incorporate during the dinner music and they did so seamlessly! The entire night the dance floor was packed and everyone had a great time. Don't mess around with your DJ...they seriously can make or break your wedding reception, and with Fly By Night you know your in good hands!!

I reserve my 5 star ratings for those that really go above and beyond, and Ray and Fly By Night were amazing! Money well spent in every sense of the word. Two meetings prior to the wedding to finalize music choices and lots of recommendations and guidance.

I will never make the mistake of considering a DJ due to price, go all out on the budget for DJ. This vendor was very responsive and respectful. The meeting I had to pick a Dj and go over their services was very professional and a great presenation. Any vendor you choose for the DJ, be sure that the package includes on-call or on-site tech support. Our DJ had issues with the speakers. Right when people had finished eating and were ready to dance, the music went dead for like 45 min! Half of our guests left because there was no music and the room was dead. Even though we got things going, it really set the tone for the night, it really put a damper in the evening and I was sad to see many people leave. The positive is that they did not charge us for the services.

I really liked that we were able to view videos of each DJ's work before actually selecting one. Our DJ Ryan was professional but laid back and we really appreciated that he let us do whatever we wanted. He went along with our track lists and made everything sound very nicely put together. Overall he was very flexible and helpful. I would use these guys again any time!

Fly By Night did our wedding reception. Larry Barnett was incredibly knowledgeable & professional. He really listened and GOT what we wanted for our reception, and he delivered perfectly! We received many compliments on our reception, and Larry was a major reason for that. We would DEFINITELY use Fly By Night again!

We got married April14, 2007 and used Fly By Night DJ. We were able to choose the DJ we wanted after viewing samples. Teena was wonderful!
