We were looking around for venues for a while and most of them were either too expensive or not quite what we were looking for in quality. Eventually we went to the Bridal Extravaganza in Austin, TX and found the Tuttles. They were just starting out in this type of business and had only a few pictures, but the ones they had available looked amazing!
The house itself is very spacious and could hold a small wedding gathering in the main room. They informed us that they had plenty of space for an outdoor wedding (like we wanted) and they were in the process of adding on a large covered deck (32' x 64') for extra space. With this in mind, we decided to take a look for ourselves. We fell in love with the place at first site and knew it'd be the right location for the wedding. It was a bit far for travel, but well worth it! After the wedding, we weren't able to stay over night because we had a trip planned, but I would recommend considering it as the extra cost is a great value.
As for the Tuttles, they were extremely helpful in many different areas. They provided us with a fair payment plan and were not pushy about getting their money (though we didn't give them any trouble haha). They were very accommodating when it came to our needing to take engagement photos on site and visit the location multiple times. All they needed was a "heads up" so they could open the doors. They were very quick to reply to emails and phone calls. On the wedding day, they helped with chair and table setup, some decoration setup and even helped to serve drinks during the reception! They also worked with the DJ and Caterers to ensure everything went smoothly.
Overall, they exceeded our expectations in every way and I can honestly say you'd be making the right choice here.

The Tuttles are great people. They were so easy to work with. We looked at so many venues and I am so happy that we decided to go with them. The place was beautiful, and my daughters wedding turned out perfect. We are still getting complements on how nice it was and what a good time everyone had.

The Flying T Ranch welcomes you with 170 acres of tree covered beauty, only 30 minutes from Austin. Enjoy renting for the day, weekend, or longer; whatever it takes to have that relaxing day leading up to your special event. On site owners/managers will be available to answer any questions you may have during your stay, get chairs and tables set up to your exact requirements for your ceremony, reception, or event and clean up after you leave.
Pick your own ceremony site. It could be in the quiet woods with nature, or with the Hill Country views spanning out behind you. If inclement weather approaches you have your choice of the Greatroom indoors or the large covered deck outdoors. Whatever you decide, it's your choice.
The facility greets you with 4800 sq.ft. of indoor use. Whether it's the large lovely Bridal suite with canopy bed and double shower, or the grooms "man cave" with satellite TV and private bath. The 900 sq.ft. Greatroom's vaulted ceiling shows off the huge stone fireplace; enjoy your first dance as husband and wife under twinkling lights with a romantic fire in the background. Step out the backdoor and enjoy the gentle breezes at your reception on the 2000 sq.ft. covered deck, with the meandering creek and waterfalls beside it. With the lights down low and the trees lit up at dusk, your reception can be your fairytale come true. Enjoy a night of celebration and dancing, then let family or friends spend the night (sleeps 12), and leave the next morning relaxed.
