Gina makes sure every detail is perfect! The food is always delicious! People are still talking about how good it was. staff is always professional, and they make sure not only the bride and groom, but each and every guest gets what they need. My guests got a little rowdy and FFTC was very patient and were so amazing even though the party went longer and got crazier than planned. Very flexible and helpful beyond catering issues that came up. Gina will always go the extra mile to satisfy any special requests. She also has relationships with rental vendors and can get discounts and offer expertise with buying alcohol, renting china, glassware, anything, she always has an answer and knows how many. we didn't run out of any beer, glasses, or napkins. Everything was personal, great communication with other vendors, and amazing food that cant be matched. Even the leftovers made my mouth water! All food is local and grown with integrity, and the flavors in the recipes will pleasantly surprise guests, its not bland wedding menu food!

Gina has provided catering services for our family and business events for the last 7 years. She recently handled a 300 person funeral reception with 2 days notice, and has done luncheons and dinners and even an outdoor wedding in the middle of a raging hurricane (!)with the same flair and quality that we would expect from a Philly or NYC caterer. Two large thumbs UP for her preparation, her attention to quality and detail, and the high positive energy she brings to her work.

The day of each of our events, Gina always introduces the staff to our family and gives everyone a sense of personal touch which makes so much of a difference. I have had the pleasure to use Food for Thought Catering for the last year to cater our business lunches, as well as our company Christmas party. Gina has catered seventeen exceptional events for Stoner Inc. Gina's attention to detail has been impeccable. Her knowledge of food and the catering business has been a blessing for our events! Gina's service, as well as the service from all her staff has always been remarkable. They have always been willing to go the extra mile to make sure everything runs smoothly and perfectly, without concern on my part. Finaly, and most importantly, their food has always been authentic, fresh and prepared without ANY issues. It does not matter if we are having grilled steaks, Itailian, Asian, Mexican or a Greek meal. It has always been wonderful and authentic. FFTC has only ever used fresh ingredients, which they have even prepared on site, which has made all the difference in the quality of their food. Gina and Food for Thought Catering made my wedding day and the planning process perfect! I honestly would not change a thing. We wanted a gluten free, Mexican menu for 250 people and that's exactly what we got. I still have people calling me to say that it was the best wedding reception food they have ever had. Not only that but Gina took all of the headaches away for my mom and I. We truly enjoyed the day and the process leading up to it because of Gina's efforts! I just can't say enough good things... It was the most important day of my life and was perfect!!

Food for Thought Catering service was the best for our Daughter's wedding. Gina was so helpful in giving us ideas for the menu and working within our budget. She met several times with us to make decisions for the reception. We really enjoyed working with her and the food was outstanding and excellent! Her catering staff did a wonderful job on the day of the wedding and the presentation of food was gorgeous! Everyone complimented us on the food and we even got to take the leftovers home.

Food for thought Catering catered my parents 50th anniversary party. I had never planned an event before and I was on a limited budget. The owner spent a lot of time with me working out a menu I could afford and the food was phenomenal! Everything was so fresh and delicious and the staff was wonderful and took all the worry off of me. They not only did their jobs professionally, but they went over and above with the guests, set up and clean up. Our guests loved the food and the experience was flawless. I highly recommend this company for any size event.

On July 23, 2011, we had the honor of having Food For Thought Catering as a part of our daughter’s wedding reception at Lime Spring Farm in Lancaster, P.A. From our first meeting with Gina, she focused on sharing ideas and worked to understand the type of reception Mollie wanted to create. We were able to communicate our desire to have a beautiful, elegant wedding that included very specific food and bar selections. Beginning that day and every day thereafter, Gina treated us like family.
Gina’s years of event planning experience is invaluable. Her approach is to understand the entire event in order to provide the best plan for your reception. Gina created an amazing menu with a unique presentation of the food that truly reflected the passion she has for her business and the clients she serves. Mollie wanted the food to reflect her southern heritage and the bountiful harvest of the Lancaster region. She also wanted the food service to include beautiful displays and professional service. Gina and her staff exceeded our expectations in every way.
So many of our guests commented on the wonderful freshness, quality and presentation of the food! Family and friends were thrilled with the fried chicken and variety of food items at our Southern Station. The Southern Station was only one part of the extensive menu designed specifically for us. From the unique hors d’oeuvres and variety of selections on the stations to the special setup for the main bar, this event was designed specifically for us.
The entire staff was wonderful all evening and took care of every guest's needs. They were hard working, friendly, and professional. Gina works very hard at coordinating her staff and addresses all of the unique aspects of the venue. Everyone works as a team and no detail is left unattended. The staff operates effectively because of Gina’s leadership and their respect for her ability to run a flawless event.
A wedding is a special time for family and friends. Gina and the Food For Thought Catering staff are special people who don’t just work for you that day but become a part of the memories of a lifetime. Gina's company Food for Thought went way above and beyond our expectation for our wedding reception. I had a vision of how I wanted our night to be-intimate, elegant, and Italian. Gina brought those ideas to life. Our meal was served family style-and true to form with Italian families there was more than enough food to go around. The food was delicious-chicken parm, roasted peppers and sausage, pasta in a lemon herb garlic olive oil sauce! The presentation was stunning. By the end of the night we heard from almost all of our guests it was the best "wedding" food they have ever had.

Besides being a fantastic chef, Gina was amazing to work with. By the end of our meetings, menu planning, and replanning-it felt like we were working with a friend. Gina was able to work within our budget and made the planning much easier with many helpful suggestions from the bar to the linens and everything in between.

The Food for Thought staff were equally amazing and attentive to my family and friends. Gina's head baker even went as far as to create chocolate cannolis-which is a family favorite to meet our wants.

I cannot say enough good things about our experience working with Food for Thought catering. Every last detail was perfect.

When my son and daughter-in-law were planning their reception, they kept saying how easy and stress free it was working with Food for Thought Catering. They felt Gina took the extra step to try to meet all their needs, as well as their wants and helped them stay within their budget. The night of the reception, everything they wanted was executed just as they requested. The Ballroom looked absolutely beautiful and the food was delicious, prepared perfectly and served hot.There were plenty of appitizers and dinner for all. The staff did not miss a beat. As that may be more than true...what they don't realize is what a pleasure it was to work with Gina from the first meeting to tasting that incredible food at that wedding. What they will also never know is that Gina has given her clients an education on what things cost, helping them to make the best decison for their budget needs. From a "work" standpoint, I have never seen a caterer lead her team of professional servers like she does. Her servers are the BEST group of people. They are dedicated, passionate and professional. Gina also works with the vendors (DJ's, photographers etc...)to make sure everyone is on the same page...working together to make for a seamless event! FFTC has been my preferred caterer for 3 years and in that period of time with all of the events Gina has catered I have NEVER seen anything go wrong! We had a wonderful experience! "Food For Thought" provided a luncheon for the Mary Hoyer Doll Company. From beginning to end the event was perfect. The food was delicious and the presentation was exceptional.

We had the pleasure and honor of having Gina cater our daughter's wedding reception at the Legacy Ballroom. Gina is the preferred caterer at the Legacy, although we were free to use any caterer we chose. Our guests were overwhelmed by the quality of the food. Everything was tasty, hot, and wonderfully seasoned. Gina's presentation of the food tables was the best I have ever seen. Her staff was wonderful all evening, butlering and catering to every guest's need. They were pleasant, friendly, and genuinely enjoyed our guests. I cannot say enough about Gina and her staff at Food for Thought catering, and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a caterer beyond the ordinary!

The wedding was held outside at my parents residence (large enough)
for 80 people..
Hurricane came through, cater and ace rents worked like machines
to protect and react to the weather.

I would not have change anything. The rain and strong winds made
the wedding and ceremony more passionate and devoted to our
strength as a couple.

The skies cleared as the ceremony begin, we were being watched by
a stronger power.

I know my cater FFT had fortitude to keep everything on task. Bravo

I've had the pleasure of being at several events where Gina was the caterer. Gina and her staff seem to really care about what they do and it shows. Their food is exceptional and the presentation is always very appealing. As a vegan, I'm especially picky when it comes to food and I can say that I always look forward to the events that she is a part of.
