I LOVED my trio cake display!!! I was soo shocked when I saw that my cakes looked exactly how I had envisioned and tasted even better! Melanie even checked in on my wedding after she delivered another cake to the event next to me, and fixed a bubble on one of the cakes! I didn't even know there was a bubble, but she came and repaired it and I thought she was so kind for doing that. I loved my cakes, and I loved her style, precision, and patience in taking in all my requests. My cakes were literally the icing on my wedding and I'll always have those gorgeous pictures to look back on!! Thank you!!

Our cake was amazing! We got the signature flavor, Champagne in 2 layers and Chocolate in the other 2 layers. We also really liked them because I love the look of fondant, but don't like the taste. For Goodness Cakes can get butter cream icing so smooth that it looks like fondant. The cake was moist and delicious and we got tons of compliments. In fact, the day after our wedding we had a house full of guests come over because we said we had some cake left.

I absolutely loved my wedding cake! Going into the initial meeting, I had no idea what flavor or design I wanted. Melonie helped me tremendously and we were able to pick flavors and designs easily with her ideas. It turned out even better than I could have imagined. They were super easy to work with and always available to answer my questions. I'm still receiving compliments about how delicious the cake was and I can't wait for our one year anniversary to bring out the top layer to enjoy once again!

We loved our cake for the wedding. It looked beautiful and it tasted good. We were so full after the dinner at the wedding that I didn't get to eat much cake on the wedding day but we have been eating cake all week and it is wonderful.

Melonie is a dream to to work with as a vendor. My guests are still asking where our wedding and grooms cake were ordered. Not only does she create beautifully designed cakes but they taste delicious! We had 3 different flavors of cake so many of our guests enjoyed 3 pieces of cake (as long as they lasted)! I have never really enjoyed the taste of cakes at weddings until I tasted ours. Now I can't wait until our anniversary to have another slice! I will definitely contract with For Goodness Cakes again in the future for special occasion cakes.

Christina at For Goodness Cakes made our wedding cake (cupcake) dreams come true. She designed an incredible layout, as well as provided the most delicious cupcakes with personalized decorations on each one. Our guests were delighted and the cupcakes were fought over as favors at the end of the reception.

Christine was a joy to work with. She made sure to keep in contact with me. When I finally saw the cake I was overjoyed! She made the cake the way I have envisioned.

We had a great experience working with For Goodness Cakes. They let us choose which cakes we tasted at our cake tasting and the pieces were very generous. The wedding cake and grooms cake that we ordered were delivered on time, beautiful and so delicious!

The staff here is great, however my decorator seemed a bit scatterbrained a few times. Had to ask me to re-send her some information more than once. However the delivery, design, taste, and presentation of our cake was out of this world!! Definitely worth every penny. Guests raved about the cake all night!

My favorite thing about my wedding might quite possibly be my wedding cake. For Goodness Cakes took my cake descriptions and pictures and made my exact vision come to life at my wedding. The staff went out of their way to fit me into the schedule and make sure the delivery went smoothly. And as absolutely gorgeous as the cake was, it was still the best tasting cake I've ever had! Seriously, butter pecan, do it! :) I'm so happy with my wedding cake choice, and will definitely use For Goodness Cakes for special occasion cakes in the future.

For Goodness Cakes saved the day for us. Weeks before the wedding our "cake maker stopped making cakes!!" Krista, our wedding coordinator at the Payne Corley House, contacted For Goodness Cakes to see if they would save the day. And, save the day they did.
With little more than a picture that had been taken of our original cake, she managed to create one that was identical to the one that had been ordered. The layers of different flavors were wonderful, and the directions for freezing the top level for their "1st" anniversary were wonderful!!
We couldn't have asked for more, and truly thanks and praise for a job well done are in order. I would recommend For Goodness Cakes to anyone who wants the job done correctly, with beauty, and great taste!

By far, this was my favorite vendor that I had worked with while planning the wedding! I had cake trouble with my previous vendor and had only contacted For Goodness Cakes a month before the wedding. Not only were they accommodating and professional but, they made our cake look beautiful and taste soooo good! My favorite flavor was almond joy, so unique! LOVE THEM!

This review could be simple - If you want the absolute BEST tasting wedding cake out there, you should hire Melonie. I chose the almond cake and the strawberry cake for mine. She delivered on flavor, texture and satisfaction. And, the best part is that once I got back from my honeymoon, people were still talking about how delicious it was. But, let's take it up a notch. Yes flavor is important... but the pictures at the wedding might be just as. And Melonie's creative, artful eye delivered heavy on this one. She combined delicate, sparkly sugar crystals with elegant lace overlay and gold ribboned fondant to create a grand and regal cake worthy of a cover shoot. People literally gasped when they saw it. Melonie was easy to work with, open to my suggestions and extremely careful to stay close to my vision, offering her own ideas where appropriate. I will try and swindle all the cakes I ever order out of her, wedding or not!

Our cake was beautiful and delicious. At our tasting, Melonie was incredibly helpful at helping us choose what would work best for us. She used swatches of our two colors to perfectly match the cake decorations (flowers and vines). Fabulous job!

Our wedding cake was beautiful and delicious! Melonie did a fantastic job creating the perfect wedding cake for us. She took my desire for a simple design and made it quite elegant. She did an even more amazing job on my husband's groom's cake. She made a very realistic fire helmet! It was incredible! We couldn't believe the detail that went into making it. The guests are still talking about her magnificent creation. I highly recommend For Goodness Cakes!

I was refered to for goodness cakes by a friend who have use Mel's services for several different cakes. The price was great for the cake, I was glad because I got a couple of prices before deciding but the cake was beautiful for the design, quality, taste etc. Mel was very professional, flexible. When we went for our tasting with her, it was hard to choose a flavor because they were so good. I did call and change the flavor and it was no problem.
On our wedding day, she made sure I was satisfy with everything before leaving. Her store is beautiful she really know how to design cakes. She was a breath of fresh air after the quote I recieved. She was on time and set everything up before leaving.
I would recommend and use her services again.

For Goodness Cakes had the most flavorful and moist cake I have ever had. After tasting many different cakes and being less impressed each time, finding For Goodness Cakes was meant to be. Melanie has a wide selection of flavors that are all over the top yummy choosing was the hardest part! Melanie was so warm and friendly, even after having to reschedule a few times; we finally had our tasting late after she normally sees people. She never hurried us to choose and even helped narrow down a design. After tasting her cake it was so hard to wait until the wedding to have more. Sadly Mark and I only got two bites each. We saved our top out of tradition, never believing we would enjoy eating it a year later. I'm thrilled to let you know that one year later the cake had just as much flavor and moistness on our wedding day. I believe that not only was it the directions given to us on how to preserve our cake, but also Melanie's talent and care she put into the cake which made our one year anniversary better.

I love working with For Goodness Cakes! Not only are their cakes the MOST delicious but their design is Flawless! I love how Mel can really make anything! She is very creative and has an amazing staff! I love bringing my clients to her for cake tastings. It is an experience one on one you don't want to miss. These guys actually did the cake for my personal wedding, and it was amazing! We recently just ate the topper on our one year anniversary, and even after being frozen for a year, it was still awesome! I would recommend For Goodness Cakes to anyone!
